"Welcome back to the TLC preshow ladies and gentleman, Josh Mathews here once again. So let's continue on with the previews of tonight's matches. Rey Mysterio and Batista will be facing off against each other one again. However, this time it will be a street fight. Over the past few weeks we saw Batista dominating Rey Mysterio repeatedly. And just last Friday Rey took Batista to the limit by fighting him throughout the crowd."
We get a review video of the tag team match where Rey took Batista through the crowd.
Batista 4x World Heavyweight Champion 1x WWE Champion 4x Tag Team Champion 2005 Royal Rumble Winner
Rey Mysterio 1x World Heavyweight Champion 2x Intercontinental Champion 7x Tag Team Champion 9x Cruiserweight Champion 2006 Royal Rumble Winner
"Rey Mysterio's championship reign amounts is very much different, but we need to remember that he is not a title match. So right now we have to remember Batista has the strength advantage, however Rey is able to use his quickness and the weapons that are allowed. So we will have to wait and see."
"Jack Swagger and John Cena will be going off against each other for the WWE Championship. This match will prove to be the ultimate test for Jack Swagger. These two faced off once, with Cena winning. However, that was months ago. Swagger has proved his improvement ever since arriving to Raw."
John Cena 5x WWE Champion 2x Heavyweight Champion 2x Tag Team Champion 3x United States Champion 2008 Royal Rumble Winner
Jack Swagger 1x ECW Champion
"Swagger has only had 1 championship reign, and Cena has had numerous! Obviously Swagger has had impressive victories without winning a championship. And tonight Cena will defend in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. However, Cena has the expirience factor, and we will have either a huge upset or Cena retaining once again."
"And lastly the main event! The Underaker defending his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk. Another TLC match, and Punk is prepared more then ever. He is a two time Money in the Bank Ladder match winner, however Undertaker will have the expirience factor."
Undertaker 3x World Heavyweight Champion 4x WWE Champion 7x Tag Team Champion 2007 Royal Rumble Winner
CM Punk 3x World Heavyweight Champion 1x ECW Champion 1x Intercontinental Champion 1x Tag Team Champion 2x Money in the Bank Match Winner
"So tonight we will either see CM Punk become a 4x World Champion, or the Undertaker retaining the title he won from Punk just 2 months ago. I am Josh Mathews, and thank you for joining me for the Pre-TLC show, make sure to watch tonight and all the fabulous matches, and don't forget... tomorrow night Monday Night Raw is hosted by Dennis Miller and we will have the Slammy Awards!"
Mathews walks off the set as "Scream With Me" plays as we fade out to end the pre-show. TLC will be posted this Friday to give time for feedback.

TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs - December 13 AT&T Center - San Antonio, TXBefore the show begins, an image showing Eddie “Umaga” Fatu is shown in memory. Picture used from: shiftyeyes__________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The show then officially gets under way with “Scream With Me” by Mudvayne, the official theme song, plays. We have the highlight package of our main matches tonight, especially on Undertaker vs CM Punk. We go back to the arena where pyros hit all around. Josh Mathews and Matt Striker welcome us first. Proceeded by Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, then Todd Grisham and the returning Jim Ross. Mathews and Striker are ready for the first match.
Tables Match for the ECW Championship Christian© vs William Regal
The challenger out first, then Christian. The match starts by both men circling around the ring and eventually coming to the center. Regal backs out and gets out of the ring. Christian follows after him and gets tons of strikes on him. He goes for an early Killswitch but Regal pushes him into the steel post. He quickly goes on the offense and beats Christian down. He delivers a hard suplex onto the floor after. He sets up a table still on the outside, and pulls the champion up. He goes for another suplex, but Christian reverses and hits one of his own on Regal. He pulls him up and throws him into the steel post now, then rolls Regal in. He pulls the same table into the ring and sets it up in the corner. Over comes Regal, who delivers blows to Christian knocking him against the table. He goes to lift Christian up to slam him through, but he slides off and hits a huge dropkick. In comes quickly out of nowhere Ezekial Jackson. He gets in the ring and Christian fights with him. He topples him over the top rope. This brings in Vladimir Kozlov, where Christian knocks him over to. He turns to Regal, who lifts him in a Samoan Drop and falls back with the ECW Champ through the table.
Winner and NEW ECW Champion: William Regal (10:25) **1/2
The Roundtable celebrates their victory, as Regal has finally captured the ECW Championship. They continue their celebration up the ramp as Christian looks upset in himself.
We go backstage where Savannah is with The Miz. She asks his thoughts on Evan Bourne. “You know, Savannah, Evan Bourne may have been ‘Bourne To Fly’ but he is not the United States Champion. He is not a former multi time tag team champion, in fact he has never held gold. And I can guarantee he won’t be walking out with it tonight. And he’ll never be walking out with the US Title, just like everybody else. Because I am the greatest in this business. And as long as I’m here, everybody else will be just another stepping stone for me. I will continue to be the greatest. You know why? Because I’m The Miz! And I’m… awesome.” Miz walks off.
United States Championship The Miz© vs Evan Bourne
Bourne out first, then the US Champ. As the referee is giving the belt to the outside, as Bourne is distracted looking at this, Miz comes running and attacks the challenger. He delivers repeated shots in the corner. He quickly goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Bourne rolls out of it. He then gets some quick moves of his own on Miz. He delivers lots of offensive maneuvers and eventually Miz slides out of the ring. Bourne runs to the ropes to dive over, but the referee stops him. He starts to count Miz out. Bourne runs off the ropes again and dives high over the referee, to the outside, and onto the United States Champion. The crowd really likes this. Bourne gets up quickly and has lots of momentum. Once he and Miz are back up in the ring, he delivers more shots. He comes off the ropes, however, and is caught with a clothesline. Miz delivers tons of shots, and keeps some control. Miz goes for the Reality Check but Bourne pulls away from it. He hits a huge dropkick, and begins to go for the Shooting Star Press. On his way up though, Miz pulls the top rope down, leaving Bourne sitting on the top rope. Miz climbs up and delivers the Skull Crushing Finale off the top of it. He pins him for the 3.
Winner and still United States Champion: The Miz (8:49) ***
Miz gets on the mic post-match. “And once again, I reign superior and remain the greatest there is. Because I’m The Miz! And I’m awesome!!” He throws the mic next to Bourne and taunts with the title.
We go backstage to Tiffany’s office where The Roundtable is walking in. Regal speaks to her, “Now, Tiffany, I am the new ECW Champion and you need to treat me with the respect I deserve. Correct?” Jackson and Kozlov nod as Tiffany replies, “Okay, William, I was already giving you respect and if you think I was not, you are surely mistaken. You see if you want my respect, I’m going to put you to the test. This Tuesday you will be defending the ECW Championship. You will face the winner of something I like to call, The ECW Decathlon. We will have two 6-man tag team matches, winner of those move onto a battle royal that will already feature Ezekial Jackson, Vladimir Kozlov, and Christian. The winner of that battle royal will move on immediately to face you for the belt.” She smiles, “There’s your respect for being my champion.” She walks out.
Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the #1 Contenders to the Unified Tag Team Championship
D-Generation X makes their way to the ring first. They do their usual introduction matter, and then comes the second entering team, Chris Masters and Carlito. Carlito starts off with Triple H. The two go back and forth very smoothly, until Michaels makes the blind tag. Hunter hits a knee drop, with Masters being tagged in. He hits a hard clothesline on HHH and taunts over him. He turns and gets hit with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels pins him and already eliminates the first team. Chris Masters and Carlito are eliminated (2:08). In comes Hurricane and Goldust. Hurricane starts off for the team and goes back and forth with the Heart Break Kid. He gets some high top rope moves, and is eventually caught off the ropes with a huge back body drop. HBK then gains back momentum over the coarse of some more moves. He eventually tags in The Game, who continues that momentum. Hurricane ducks the high knee, however, and chop blocks his legs out. He tags in Goldust, who takes it from there. He gets a lot of good moves in, very smooth but slow. Hunter fights back though, and delivers a Spinebuster to the incoming Hurricane and Pedigree’s Goldust for the 3. Goldust and The Hurricane are eliminated (7:20). Out next is Mark Henry and MVP. Henry kicks it off against HHH, and takes some control working on the mid section. He gets a lot of powerful moves in and tags MVP in. He attempts a pin, but a kick out. He goes with some offensive standing moves on HHH, until he is struck back. Hunter delivers his knee and tags in Michaels. He comes in and knocks Henry off the apron. He goes back to MVP, who attempts the Playmaker but Michaels pulls out. He goes for Sweet Chin Music, but MVP catches it. He spins him around and Henry makes the blind tag as MVP is hit in the jaw off the spin. Henry then delivers the World’s Strongest Slam on HBK. In comes Hunter, he delivers tons of strikes to the big man. He goes for the Spinebuster, but can’t pull him up. Henry then focuses on HHH and takes him over the top. He turns and is hit with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels covers for the 3. Mark Henry and MVP are eliminated (13:38). And in comes the last team, The Hart Dynasty. We are reminded how DX has embarrassed them in recent match ups. Kidd works on Michaels hard as soon as he comes in. He goes for the springboard elbow early, and HBK is able to move. He begins to get some of his own work in, and Kidd tags in DH Smith. Here comes the big man and he works back and forth with Michaels. He goes for the running power slam, but HBK slides off and tags in Hunter. HBK hits the flying forearm and Hunter hits the knee drop. He pulls up Smith and hooks him up for the Pedigree, but Kidd flies off the top rope and hits the frontflip neckbreaker. HBK is up and he takes Kidd to the outside. Smith and HHH begin to rise, and The Game delivers his knee. The referee gets distracted with Kidd and HBK on the outside as they get more vicious. He goes out to get them to stop, and in comes Chris Jericho to the ring. He hits the Codebreaker out of nowhere on HHH and gets out. The referee comes back in as DH Smith covers for the 3.
Winners of the match: The Hart Dynasty (16:40) ***1/2
The Hart Dynasty celebrates their victory as Jerishow look satisfied up on top of the ramp. Michaels looks p.o.’d as HHH looks on at his knees in disappointment.
We get a highlight video of Jack Swagger winning the elimination match to become the #1 contender to the WWE Title, and breaking his deal with Cena this past Monday.
TLC Match for the WWE Championship John Cena© vs Jack Swagger
Out comes the challenger first, and after some silence we have John Cena come out with a lot of energy. As Cena is throwing his shirt to the crowd, in comes Swagger with a chair and hits Cena in the leg. The referee rings the bell for the match to start. Swagger repeatedly works on the legs and the shoulders. He puts the chair in sitting position in the middle of the ring and pulls Cena up. He sets up for the Gut Wrench Powerbomb, but the champ slides off. He fights back, and Swagger slides out of the ring. Cena is angrier, and throws the chair over the top at the challenger. He then goes after him and chases him around the ring. Swagger spins around at one point and hits him with a clothesline. Swagger then takes a ladder, and hits Cena with it as he rises. He slides the ladder into the ring and gets in. He sets it up and begins to go up the ladder. In comes Cena, who jumps up behind Swagger and pulls him down. He delivers tons of punches and pulls him up. He runs to the ropes and tosses him over the top. Cena taunts for a while and begins to climb the ladder, he stops half way and drops down. He goes out after Swagger, and gets hit in the face with a chair. Swagger clears off the ECW Table, and picks Cena up. He goes on top of the table with him, and delivers the Gut Wrench Powerbomb through it leaving both men down. Swagger gets up after about a minute, as Cena is on his hands and knees. Swagger stumbles over to the ring. He gets in and crawls to the ladder. He begins to stand and starts climbing it slowly trying to catch his breath. Cena is up on the outside and puts a ladder up. Swagger continues his slow climb and finally notices him as he’s at the top. Swagger looks down to see how high he is. He’s only about 4 rungs up. Cena jumps off into the ring and delivers a huge leg drop! The crowd goes nuts for this spot. We get tons of replays of this in different views, including one from where the belt is hanging. Cena rises to his feet as Swagger slides out. The champ taunts to the crowd repeatedly and finally goes over to the ladder. As he’s climbing up, Swagger comes in on the other end and runs to the ladder. He knocks it over but Cena lands on his feet against the ropes. He notices a table up against the ring, realizing what Swagger tried to do. The All American-American runs at Cena, but he ducks and delivers an Attitude Adjustment to the outside and through the table. Cena sets the ladder back up well the crowd loves this, and he climbs up to retrieve the belt.
Winner and still WWE Champion: John Cena (19:52) ****
Cena raises the title sitting on top of the ladder. He puts it over his shoulder, wipes the sweat off his forehead, and does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt to Swagger on the outside. He climbs down and steps out. He delivers his salute on top of the ramp and goes backstage.
We have a hype video for Royal Rumble 2010 with the theme song “Let The Madness Begin” by Fozzy playing in the background.
Divas Champion Maryse and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool vs Melina and Mickie James
The champions are out first separately, and then Mickie and Melina come out together. Melina wants to start with Maryse, but when the bell rings Michelle is tagged in. She comes in and Melina takes out her anger on the Women’s Champ. She beats down on her in the corner, and delivers a huge kick. Mickie wants in, and Melina tags her. She dives off at Michelle, and delivers a clothesline. She attempts a pin, but only a 2 count. She loses control after, and Michelle delivers lots of shots. She tags in Maryse, who hits some of her own aggressive moves. A few signature moves back and forth between them, and Mickie tags in Melina. She fights back hard against Maryse, keeping her in the ring. She goes for her finisher, but is pushed off. Maryse hits the French Kiss DDT, and goes for the pin. Mickie breaks it up. This leads to all 4 divas in the ring. Throughout this, Mickie takes Michelle to the outside and Melina watches with enjoyment, she turns and is hit with another French Kiss and is pinned.
Winners of the match: Divas Champion Maryse and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool (6:10) **
Maryse taunts in the ring alone, and when Michelle comes in to celebrate with her, she looks disgusted and steps out of the ring.
We are shown a video package highlighting the rivalry between Batista and Rey Mysterio starting back at Bragging Rights where Batista believed Rey stabbed him in the back. It continues forward to where Batista lost his cool against Rey, and destroyed him until the match was called a no contest. It lastly shows us this past Friday Rey chasing him out of the arena.
Street Fight Rey Mysterio vs Batista
Batista comes out first basically just walking. Followed up by Rey, who storms to the ring with intent. As soon as he comes in he begins to strike Dave and the bell rings. He dropkicks him, and knocks him out of the ring. Rey flies himself over the top and onto his shoulder, and slams into the announce table. He rises to his feet and taunts over Batista. He looks under the ring and pulls out a kendo stick as the near 300 pounder rises. He swings the kendo and hits him in the leg. He backs up and swings it again at his head, but Batista ducks. He then picks Rey up and runs to the steel post and hits his back into it. He pulls him back and does it again. He takes some more control and hits more aggressive slam moves working the back of Rey. He pulls him up by the mask and throws him around some more. Rey is slid into the ring and The Animal pulls out a steel chair. He comes into the ring with it and cracks Rey across the back with it as he’s trying to get up. He screams in pain. Batista doesn’t stop and delivers repeated shot after shot. He sits the chair, and pulls Rey to his feet. He picks him up for the Spinebuster, and drops him on it. He pins him, but gets off before 3. He pulls Rey back up and picks him up again, this time for a Batista Bomb. He drops Rey down on it, and the chair snaps inverted. He then covers Rey for the 3.
Winner of the match: Batista (8:21) **1/2
Post-match, the referee tells Batista to back off, but he picks Rey up anyway. But out of nowhere from behind in comes Chavo Guerrero with his own chair, and he hits The Animal in the back. Batista throws Rey down, and turns to Chavo only to get hit in the face. He falls down and Chavo strikes him more, until more referees come down to break it all up. EMTs check on Rey as Batista gets out of the ring in pain. Chavo stares him down.
We go backstage, where we see Teddy Long. In comes Vince McMahon. “What the hell do you think you are doing?” Teddy looks at him confused, “What do ya mean, Vince?” He stares at Teddy angry, “You know what I mean. Why is Chavo Guerrero, from Raw, which you are not the General Manager of yet, doing attacking a Smackdown Superstar?” Teddy still looks at him confused, “What do you mean? Chavo’s a part of Smackdown.” Vince is looking confused now, “See, Vince… you need to pay more attention to superstar’s contracts. Recently, Chavo said he had been embarrassed over the course of multiple months by Hornswoggle, and he wanted to make a mark for who he truly is, a Guerrero. I agreed with him, and I signed him over to Smackdown, and he was fed up with Batista. So that’s why he was just out there. So I hope that the new General Manager of Smackdown this Friday can handle that, holla holla holla.” He walks out.
Chairs Match for the Intercontinental Championship Dolph Ziggler© vs John Morrison
Morrison out first, then the IC Champion. The bell rings and before anything can start, Ziggler offers a hand shake. Morrison doesn’t like it already and kicks him in the gut. He takes advantage off it and throws Dolph into the corner and beats him down. He delivers tons of strikes and hits a huge springboard dropkick. Dolph slides out and drops to the floor. Morrison grips the top rope and launches himself over, but Dolph is up and swings one of the chairs he picked up and hits Morrison in the gut. He moves around in pain from it, and the champ slides the chair into the ring. He pulls JoMo up and rolls him in. He walks around the ring and grabs the other chair, and puts that in. He gets in and hits some kicks and punches to the challenger. He sits one chair up, and sits the other one upside down on top of the other. He lifts Morrison for a suplex, but he reverses and pulls Dolph up in the air. He stalls him and drops him forward onto the chairs, collapsing them. He covers him, but it’s only a 2 count. Ziggler fights back once he is up, and takes him to the mat and delivers multiple punches to the face. Morrison fights back with punches of his own once he mounts. The referee pulls Morrison off, and Ziggler gets to the corner. JoMo grabs a chair and throws it into the champ’s face, who stumbles forward and is hit with a beautiful dropkick. He climbs the top rope, and goes off for the Starship Pain, but Ziggler has a chair on top of him and he lands straight down on it. Ziggler gets up and delivers the Zig Zag as Morrison rises and pins him for the 3.
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler (7:49) ***
Ziggler rolls out of the ring hugging his title tightly, and raises it high as he backs up the ramp. Morrison rolls around disappointed in himself.
We get a video package of Legacy being against Kofi Kingston since Bragging Rights. Then moving onto Team Kofi vs Team Orton, and Orton being the survivor. It shows post-match how Randy punted Ted, leading to him leaving Legacy. It goes over the coarse of the weeks where Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, and Ted DiBiase are all part of wanting to make it to the WWE Title.
#1 Contenders Match to the WWE Championship Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes vs Ted DiBiase vs Kofi Kingston
Order of entry: Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton. Bell rings and Orton gets Kofi as Rhodes gets DiBiase. They all go to the outside fast, and Ted is punching Cody against the barricade. Kofi is being mauled by Orton on the other side. He throws Kofi into the steel post and he goes flying. On the other end, Cody is pushed into the ring and Ted gets on the apron. Randy runs around and takes Ted to the floor. He begins to pound on him rapidly as Kofi gets up and slides into the ring. Cody stomps him as Ted and Randy are brawling around the ring. Kofi delivers a huge top rope dropkick, sending Cody across the ring. Now outside Randy and Ted have made it up the ramp, and Orton is backing up fast. We return to the ring where Kofi is delivering tons of strikes, but is hit with a hard clothesline. Back on the ramp, Randy is gone and Ted is looking up the ramp. He focuses back to the ring and starts to walk. Here comes Randy, he runs down and tosses Ted off the ramp. He gets in the ring and delivers an RKO to Kofi out of nowhere. He attempts a pin, but he puts his foot on the bottom rope. Randy is angry, and pulls Kofi up. He is about to hit another RKO but Kofi pushes him into Cody. He delivers Trouble in Paradise and attempts the pin, but he kicks out. Cody then hops onto Kofi’s back and delivers tons of strikes. Randy is up and keeps yelling orders to Rhodes. In from behind comes Ted, and he hits Orton in the back. He continues multiple shots and knocks him out of the ring. Ted then dropkicks Cody, who ran at him. He follows Randy on the outside, who goes over the barricade. Ted goes after him. In the ring, Kofi and Cody go back and forth. Kofi ducks a clothesline and hits a huge springboard clothesline. We have cameras show backstage, as Ted is shown on the ground unconscious. We return to the ring where Kofi and Cody are still going at it. Cody hits the Cross Rhodes quickly, but Kofi kicks out of the pin attempt. Cody puts in a lot of moves, and Kofi fights back. He delivers a huge suplex, and does his Boom Drop. Cody is up, and Kofi delivers a huge Trouble in Paradise. He hops back up and in comes Randy Orton from behind. Kofi turns and he is thrown through the ropes. Randy covers his own fellow Legacy member, and gets the 3 count.
Winner of the match: Randy Orton (13:50) ***
Post-match, Kofi is fuming on the outside with anger as Randy taunts. Kofi gets onto the apron but Orton slips out on the other side. He backs up a bit staring. He walks around as Kofi doesn’t keep his eyes off him.
We cut to a video package highlighting CM Punk vs Undertaker. It starts at Summerslam where the dead man returned. Then the “re-Montreal Screwjob” at Breaking Point. Then Undertaker winning the title at Hell in a Cell. It fades to where Undertaker is defending the title, winning at Bragging Rights and Survivor Series. Then CM Punk winning the battle royal by being an unknown participant in the match. Mysterious things over the past few weeks are shown as a review, and Punk pinning the dead man this past Friday. Lastly, Undertaker getting the last laugh on Smackdown by chokeslamming Punk on the ladder.
TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Undertaker© vs CM Punk
We return to the arena after the video and CM Punk’s music hits immediately and he comes down to the ring. We wait as he looks around the ring, and Undertaker makes his regular epic entrance. The belt is put on the rung and risen to the ceiling. The bell rings, and Punk backs up to the corner. Taker stares him down, and takes a step forward, making the straight edge superstar step out of the ring. He looks to the announcers and taunts. He turns and over the top rope flying comes Undertaker, and he takes Punk to the ground. He gets back up and pulls Punk up by the hair. He pushes him in the ring. He slides in after, but his opponent is already up and kicking him in the back. Punk backs up as Taker rises, and hits off the ropes. He comes back and delivers a clothesline. He delivers more and more punches trying to take him down, but Taker forces Punk over the top with one punch. Punk wanders around and Taker follows. Punk picks up a chair and blasts the champ with it. He checks himself for blood and leaves the chair on the floor. He walks around and puts a table in the ring. He proceeds with putting a ladder halfway in leaning on the second rope, much like he did on Smackdown. He notices Taker getting up, and reaches to the outside and grabs his hair. Taker swings a fist back, and hits Punk in the jaw. He gets into the ring and stands up. He goes for another strike, but Punk ducks and hits a few kicks. He hits off the ropes and jumps high in the air with a clothesline. Taker wobbles a bit to the center. Punk steps onto the apron as Taker begins to walk over. Punk jumps onto the ladder half outside the ring, and the part inside swings up and nails the dead man in the jaw. Punk pushes the ladder fully in now, and gets in. He beats down on Taker for a couple minutes, and sets the table up. He then puts the ladder up, and kicks the champ a few more times. He begins to climb up the ladder as Taker sits up. He stands and grabs Punk by the tights. He begs for him to let go, and Taker pulls him up in a last ride position. He raises him high in the air and drops Punk through the table. Taker catches his breath against the ropes and walks back to the ladder. Before he can even start his climb, down comes Jeff Hardy with a chair. He swings it, and hits the champion in the leg. This brings Taker down to the mat, and Jeff hits him again. He knocks him out of the ring eventually and helps Punk up. He begins to go to the ladder and climb up slowly in pain. A huge pyro hits on the ramp suddenly, and Kane comes down to the ring. He gets in and ducks a shot from Jeff and boots him over the top rope. Punk dives off, but Kane catches him by the throat and drops him with a chokeslam leading to him rolling out of the ring. Kane then gets out and chases Jeff to the back. Taker is getting back up, and he goes in the ring. He crawls to the ladder and rises to one knee. He begins to stand and starts ascending the ladder. He’s about halfway up and Punk gets back in with another ladder. He holds his back as he sets it up next to the one Taker is on. He uses his better agility then Taker, and climbs up to the top. The champ makes it at the same time. They begin to trade blows back and forth, and Punk gets a hand around his throat. He begins to scramble, and kicks Taker in the head. He grabs him by the hair and hits him face first against the top rung. He rakes the eyes, and pushes the champ off the ladder. He moves over to that one, reaches up, and pulls the title down.
Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk (21:52) ****
Punk holds the title close to him, kisses it, and raises it high in the air. Taker lays on the mat motionless, and Punk climbs down slowly. He puts his foot on Taker’s chest and raises the title to end TLC.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 1st December 2009...Alright, good way to start off the show with William Regal taking on Curt Hawkins in the semi-finals of this intriguing ECW Championship contenders tournament. Regal picking up the win is fine by me, I did like Zack Ryder's interference, but then Regal and Ezekiel Jackson pretending that nothing happened. Very sly. I hope that Ryder and Hawkins' feud doesn't make pay-per-view, though. It's more of a television-feud. Very interesting main event, but has Eric Escobar now joined the Ruthless Roundtable too? Regal has three backups now, good, but I really think Escobar should have stayed on SmackDown. Either way, I see nothing good in that guy. I'd have had the Abraham Washington Show open up the show, personally. Nonetheless, The Hurricane and Goldust sure do make for good entertainment. Liked the dialogue, but sort of makes the post look messy. Also, I wish you'd change the font from font=verdana to font=tahoma. Tahoma is a lot neater, or Arial. The Hart Dynasty back on ECW eh? Good win for Hurricane and Goldust but they didn't really need it. This bout makes the idea of that Abraham Washington Show episode sort of unnecessary, too. Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith need more momentum, they're being used badly, in my opinion. Good main event win for Vladimir Kozlov and Eric Escobar over Christian and Shelton Benjamin, though I feel Christian and Benjamin needed that victory more. Was a good show, regardless.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 4th December 2009...Chris Jericho and Big Show starting off SmackDown this week is fine, was their usual gig at cutting a promo. Wow, a tag team turmoil eh? I am extremely interested in that match, as it should definitely lead to new WWE Unified Tag Team Champions. I am not a fan of DX being involved, however. They make the other teams predictable and inferior to them. Shawn Michaels competing on SmackDown though, I can't see happening. Triple H fighting Chris Jericho seems fine, though. Weak win for Batista over Slam Master J. Please repackage him, he's Terry Gordy's son and being used as a failed white rapper. If you don't give him a repackaged gimmick, release him to put him out of misery. Liked his beatdown too, but more beatdowns on Rey Mysterio I dislike. The feud between Batista and Mysterio is looking pretty unbalanced. I am not a fan of the fun and games that the Hardys are having with each other, Matt Hardy reunited with Jeff Hardy in the summer after their feuding in the spring, so I don't see why they hate each other again. Matt Hardy taking on Mike Knox is fine, would have been an interesting match to say the least, Matt needed the win more, obviously. I really wasn't a fan of mixing the divas main feud with Drew McIntyre and Finlay's feud, however. Their feuds revolve around different things. In this case, opposites don't suit. The disqualification finish sure was interesting though, but what happened with Mickie James and Michelle McCool in all of this shillelagh attacking? Great first hour main event with Shawn Michaels and Big Show, pretty decent to say the least. Michaels winning is fine by me, but Chris Jericho should win the match against Triple H to even things up. I hope that it doesn't main event, though. What would the World Heavyweight Championship feud be able to build to if it didn't main event and was overshadowed by one of the lowest matches on the card for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs? I feel that it could have followed Show vs HBK, though, if there was a screwy finish in which all four men brawled, but nevermind. I didn't really see why the Hart Dynasty went that dramatic with Cryme Tyme. Their feud needs to end soon. Caylen Croft debuting? Intriguing. You could have easily debuted him with Trent Berreta in the turmoil match at the pay-per-view, though. Chris Jericho stealing victory is nice, but just didn't fit in with this show after Show vs HBK in my mind. Great six man tag team main event to close down the show. Was a good episode, at this point I am liking where the card for TLC is going.
WWE RAW: Monday 7th December 2009...Alright, six days away from TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Let's see what we have. Good opening promo to start things off with Mark Cuban immediately coming out to the ring as this week's Guest Host for RAW. I like Legacy trying to intimidate Cuban after what happened at Survivor Series in 2003, too, but I don't see the point in those two triple threat matches. Why is Jack Swagger, a heel, suddenly fighting Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes? Not too sure about the blending of Legacy's feud with Kofi Kingston and Ted Dibiase in with the feud with Jack Swagger and John Cena, personally. You could have just gone for a handicap match. Good opening contest to start things off, not a bad opening contest either, best way to go with Maryse winning back the WWE Divas Championship from Melina. I am not too fond of Melina these days, as she's grown sloppy over time. Good win for Carlito and Chris Masters over Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry. I am happy that you found something for both Carlito and Masters to do whilst at the same time, building a temporary part to the tag team division WWE has. Carlito and Masters beating them is fine, no concerns there as it propells us going into the turmoil match for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships come TLC. Really disliked the burial of Hart Dynasty once again. DX are dominant, they didn't need to beat David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd whatsoever. What you're doing with the Dynasty is baffling, because you have them lose on ECW, have them dominate in a pretty dramatic scene on SmackDown, then job them out to Triple H and Shawn Michaels on RAW. Please decide on one route and stick to it. Big Show and Chris Jericho and DX have pretty much been the focal point of this turmoil match storyline. The other teams aren't necessary. It should be just those two teams, I think personally. Good first-hour main event there, with Jack Swagger and Legacy members going at it, but it'd mainly just be a handicap match. Swagger winning sure is surprising though, to say the least. Builds him for TLC, but I can't see him winning the WWE Championship. Hornswoggle beating Chavo Guerrero again. Nevermind. You really get all aspects of detail down, though, I admit. Didn't feel that Sheamus and Jerry Lawler's bout was needed. Seven matches on RAW will never happen nowadays, I'm afraid. Lastly, pay-per-view worthy main event with John Cena beating Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton in what was an awesome match. Swagger coming out after is a bit strange. Where is the WWE United States Champion, The Miz?
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 8th December 2009...A pretty weak way to start off this edition of ECW, I feel. There should have been a much more important way to kick off the show than this. Not many people will know who Drew Dalton is since he's debuted tonight, and it would put the viewer off I think. Dalton overcoming Tyler Reks was foreseeable. I'm really interested as to what you could do with him though. Another giant on ECW, with Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson, Vance Archer and others. What the hell, an eight-man tag team match? That should have opened the show up in my honest opinion. Sounds big too, should have been hyped more than announced by Tiffany just before it began. Zack Ryder, Ezekiel Jackson, Eric Escobar and Vladimir Kozlov winning is fine, but you're making ECW Champion, Christian look bad by giving him these losses. Best decision for William Regal to qualify to face Christian at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs instead of the incredibly green newcomer, Vance Archer and the past-his-prime Tommy Dreamer. Nine matches for TLC now though? That would never happen, and one should be dropped from the card, most in particular the divas match.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 11th December 2009...Good way to kick off SmackDown with Vince McMahon cutting a short promo, and his involvement with Theodore Long sure is interesting to say the least, looks to be an amazing twelve-man tag team match to open up SmackDown with stars of the turmoil match for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships. Would have been a clusterf*ck though, I see in real life. The elimination tag team stipulation though, wasn't necessary in my mind. Fantastic opening contest, though. My only complaint is that it does use a majority of your superstars, and has took a big bite out of air time. Mike Knox beating Charlie Haas is okay, no big deal. Haas needs something to grasp. Michelle McCool beating Mickie James is fine, good defense of the WWE Divas Championship. I hope to see Mickie fade out of WWE soon though, as she has signed the record deal. The Rotundos debuting is fine, but again, could have debuted at TLC in the turmoil match. And also again, what are you doing with the Hart Dynasty? They attacked Cryme Tyme last week, what are they doing with that? Has that gone anywhere? Your continuity definitely needs some work. Good win for Dolph Ziggler against Matt Hardy, their feud would be pretty good I'd think. Lastly, great tag team main event. It was a good show overall, lacked involvement with the Finlay and Drew McIntyre story, however. This was probably the best card of the month thus far.
WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs...Sunday 13th December 2009...I liked the involvement with the TLC pre-show, a nice touch, though slightly unneeded. Good call to have an Umaga memorial there. Great way to kick off the show, the banners look pretty good, too, though the superstars are shaped funnily. Good call for William Regal to finally win the ECW Championship, too, he needed the win as he deserved that belt at Breaking Point in my honest opinion. Christian has had his fun in the sun, he should move to SmackDown I think. Nice win for The Miz against Evan Bourne, a decent defense of the WWE United States Championship, but I don't think this would have made pay-per-view. Yes, this is why I think the continuity in this diary is messed up. You think differently, but you've screwed with the Hart Dynasty a lot in the last two weeks, and all of a sudden they win the turmoil least-suspectedly and win the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships? I did like Chris Jericho and Big Show being visible in the costing of DX having the titles in their possession, however. I feel that John Cena and Jack Swagger should have just had a ladder match, personally. They haven't had enough build for a full-on TLC match, whereas CM Punk and The Undertaker have feuded for months and only have a ladder match. I also like that it's spaced out from the other match, but I feel that it should have been more up the card. John Cena retaining the WWE Championship is the right call to make. Nice interbrand divas match there, but nothing too important to note. Batista beating Rey Mysterio in the street fight is fine, hopefully Mysterio takes time off to heal from injuries. I hate that Chavo Guerrero all of a sudden is there to rescue Rey after being a heel and losing to Hornswoggle week in and week out. Let Batista kill him too, please. I feel that John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship wasn't necessary, either personally. You should have had seven matches on this card at maximum. Good win for Randy Orton I suppose, but it's not somebody different. The fact that we're going back to Orton having a feud with John Cena over the WWE Championship is ridiculous. I also feel that this bout and Cena vs Swagger should have traded places. Lastly, amazing win for CM Punk over The Undertaker, regaining the World Heavyweight Championship. Overall, great show, but what your diary lacks is continuity. Your diary lacks a lot, your booking is interesting and fun to watch, but you have way too much going on at once. Your story arcs are all flawed and who you consider inferior at one point is superior the next, but then returns to being weak. Not fond of that. But you can do justice sometimes. Royal Rumble is next month, you shouldn't make more than six matches for that card...

Appreciate all the feedback, DTP. And yes, I realize the card was big, and I could of done away with the US and IC Title matches. Royal Rumble will not feature much either, as the rumble match usually takes up an hour.

Raw - December 14 American Bank Center - Corpus Christi, TX
We go live to the Raw arena as pyros hit all around. We are welcomed by Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler to this tri-branded 3 hour edition of Raw for the Slammy Awards. They also mention tonight is the last night under control of a special guest host. Rather then getting to our guest host, we are ready for our first match.
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match United States Champion The Miz vs Yoshi Tatsu
Tatsu comes out first representing ECW, not many people recognizing him. Then comes The Miz. The two circle the ring a couple times then come out to the center, where Miz slaps Tatsu across the face. This gets him angry and he begins to strike Miz fast. He delivers lots of kicks and Miz hops out of the ring. Tatsu walks to the ropes, and Miz takes his legs and trips him to the mat. He gets back in and attempts a pin for the 2. He takes some more control throughout a little longer, then Tatsu fights back. He delivers tons of top rope moves, and some kicks in between. He goes for his kick to the back of the head, but misses as the US Champ ducks. Well turned, he suffers to the Skull Crushing Finale and is pinned.
Winner of the match: The Miz (5:12) **1/2
After the match, Miz takes a mic. "And once again, your United States Champion reigns supreme. At the Royal Rumble, not only will I be the United States Champion to walk in, but I'll walk out as the US Champion and the Royal Rumble Match Winner. Because I'm The M-"
He gets cut off by Dennis Miller coming out, "Hold up, hold up.. hold up.. Let me guess; you're The Miz?" Miz nods, "And you suck?" He gets angry at him and begins to yell up the ramp. "Look, we get it. We don't think you're awesome but you obviously do, so shut your mouth. We got some awards to give out, and you're not nominated for any of them." Miz walks up the ramp. He talks to Miller, raises the US Title and walks backstage.
Commercial Break
We return and Cryme Tyme’s music plays. They come out and do a bunch of dancing like they usually do and JTG gets on the mic, "Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo!" Him and the crowd shout yo back and forth a few times and Shad takes control. "This award right here is for the Diva of the Year!" The team smiles and high fives each other. "The nominees are... Maryse, Mickie James, Melina, Beth Phoenix, and Michelle McCool." JTG gets on the mic, "And the winner of Diva of the Year award is... Melina!" She comes out with joy. She takes the Slammy thanking them as Cryme Tyme walks off. "I just have to thank all my girls in the back, and each and every single one of you! I am honored to win this awa-" She gets cut off from speaking as Maryse comes from behind and clotheslines her down. She picks her back up and hits a hard DDT right on the ramp. She takes the Slammy and walks backstage again.
We go backstage where John Cena is talking to some crew member. Up walks Jack Swagger. "Cena... last night, you did beat me. But that was in a TLC Match. Sure, you beat me in a regular match back during my time on ECW, but that was a fluke. Tonight, we go at it again. For your WWE Title again. What do ya say?" Cena smiles, "I never back down a fight, and I never will. And I also never back down from beating the hell out of people like you. So hit the road, Jack. I'll see you out there." Cena walks off smirking as Swagger watches.
Jeff Hardy's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.
Commercial Break
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Jeff Hardy vs The Hurricane
We return and The Hurricane comes down to the ring. They lock up and Hardy gets early offense in. He delivers tons of blows, and rakes the eyes even. He tries for an early Twist of Fate, but Hurricane pushes him to the ropes. This has him take control, and he delivers a high dropkick and tons of shots after taking him down. He goes to the top rope and dives off once he is up for a crossbody, but Hardy moves out of the way. Hurricane gets up and suffers to a couple minutes of shots from Hardy. He goes to fight back by ducking a clothesline, and going to the top rope, but Hardy hops up and delivers a back suplex off it. He hits a Twist of Fate once hes up, climbs the top rope, and hits the Swanton and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Jeff Hardy (7:39) **1/2
Hardy celebrates his victory to the crowds dislike, and goes backstage. After he makes it backstage, out comes Joey Styles. He goes to the Slammy Award set. "Oh My God!" The crowd cheers, "This Slammy Award is for the Oh My God moment of the year. The nominations are... Santina Marella winning the Miss WrestleMania battle royal, Chris Jericho announces his new tag team partner to be The Big Show at Night of Champions, Kofi Kingston's Boom Drop on Randy Orton on Raw November 16, and CM Punk cashing in Money in the Bank at Extreme Rules." The crowd anticipates, "And the Slammy goes to... Kofi Kingston's Boom Drop on Randy Orton!" Out comes Kofi, who accepts the award. He begins to make his way down to the ring in celebration as his match is next as we come to the top of the hour.
Commercial Break
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Kofi Kingston vs Mike Knox
Kingston is in the ring, and out comes Mike Knox to be his opponent. He gets into the ring and stares down Kofi. The bell rings and Knox early on tries to get the upper hand with a big boot, but Kofi ducks. He delivers tons of kicks to the bigger man and attempts an early springboard but is caught. Knox delivers tons of powerful moves and hard strikes for about 2 minutes. He gets a couple near falls here and there within. He picks Kofi up for a powerslam, but he slides off and hits more kicks. He jumps up and delivers a huge dropkick. He gets up and goes to the top rope. he jumps off and delivers a huge Boom Drop to Knox. He gets up and does his clapping taunt. Knox begins to get up, and Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise. He covers for the 3.
Winner of the match: Kofi Kingston (5:58) **
Kofi celebrates and raises his Slammy Award on the top rope. He gets out of the ring and celebrates going up the ramp.
We cut backstage, where we see Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. "Now that I'm not going to be a part of the Royal Rumble match... it would only be logical if you won, Cody. Then after I demolish John Cena, you could let me pin you at WrestleMania and make life easier rather then me beating the hell out of you." Cody nods silently, "But you already pinned me la-" He stands up and gets in Cody's face. "First off, you would of done it for me anyway. Secondly, you qualify tonight. Then you go to the Royal Rumble, I don't care what number you draw, you go out there and win! You come to WrestleMania where I am the WWE Champion, and you lay on the mat and let me pin." Orton storms out.
Commercial Break
We return with a hype video for Royal Rumble, anticipating the return of Edge. We come back to the live arena and the crowd is going nuts over the news.
Out comes Christian, a former multi-time tag team champion with Edge. He speaks, "Right now I am anticipating my good friend Edge's return as much as the rest of you. But right now I am presenting the Tag Team of the Year award. The nominees are... The Legacy, The Hart Dynasty, D-Generation X, and Jerishow." The crowd only pops for DX, "And the winner of the Slammy is... the Unified Tag Team Champions, Jerishow."
Jerishow's music hits and they walk over. Jericho gets on the mic, "Last night at TLC, D-Generation X said they would win the match plowing through those four teams, and facing the best Tag Team ever for the Unified Tag Team Championship." The crowd boos, "You people need to show us some respect! We just won a Slammy Award for the Tag Team of the Year. We are your tag team champions, and we have been for 5 months!" Big Show talks after, "You see, DX is nothing compared to us. They have never been the tag team champions throughout their career as a team which has been going on for over a decade.” Jericho speaks again, “So after we take out The Hart Dynasty, who have been going from the worst to the best to the worst to the best again, and that only shows that we will make them the worst once more… we will face you, D-Generation X, on the 3 hour edition of Raw on January 4th.”
Jerishow makes their way down to the ring.
WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Jerishow© vs The Hart Dynasty
Hart Dynasty comes out after. The match starts off with Smith and Show. They go back and forth for a while, but Show takes some control quickly with some submissions, Smith breaks free of a sleeper hold and hits off the ropes. He comes back and dives for a shoulder block, knocking Show through the nearby ropes. Jericho looks in shock.
Commercial Break
We return with Jericho now in the ring with Smith, and he has him locked in an armbar on the mat. He delivers some knees to the arm, and pulls Smith up. He hits off the rope but is hit with a hard big boot. Smith tags in Kidd. He comes in and delivers lots of moves on Jericho. He takes lots of momentum after about a minute and hits the springboard elbow. Show breaks up the pin, however. This has Smith take Show to the outside. Jericho then takes control over Kidd by pounding him in the back. Kidd fights back fast and delivers a huge dropkick. He takes some control again for a couple minutes, and Jericho throws him back to his corner. Show swings a sudden punch and hits Kidd in the jaw. Jericho delivers the Codebreaker and covers him for the pin before Smith can get in.
Winners and still Unified Tag Team Champions: Jerishow (11:40) ***
Commercial Break
We return to see Teddy Long and Dennis Miller ready to present an award. Teddy speaks, "This next award is presented to Mr. McMahon for the best Pay-Per-View of the year." Miller: "The nominations are for the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series." Miller opens the envelope and Teddy announces, "The Slammy is for WrestleMania 25!" Out comes Mr. McMahon. He is proud, and takes the Slammy Award. "Thank you. I truly do believe that WrestleMania 25 was the greatest Pay-Per-View of the year. Now, moving onto some other business..." He turns to Teddy and Dennis, "Dennis, I thank you for being the last celebrity guest host here on Raw. And next week, Teddy, you will be taking over. However, the new general manager of Smackdown will be debuting this Friday... and so many of you are wondering who that will be. Well I can tell you this much... you're just going to have to wait and tune into Smackdown." He smiles and the crowd boos.
Vince, Dennis, and Teddy walk off and we cut backstage. Josh Mathews is standing by with Chavo Guerrero. Josh speaks first, "Chavo, you went from losing to Hornswoggle over the coarse of so many months to... going out their last night and attacking Batista defending Rey Mysterio. What is with this change of heart?" Chavo smirks, "Josh, like Teddy said... I was sick and tired of being treated as if I were nothing. I am a Guerrero! I am supposed to lie, cheat, and steal. I want to make my Uncle proud of me... I know he's looking down on me, and I will make sure that I get vengeance on Batista here tonight when I beat him and qualify for the Royal Rumble Match. Viva La Raza!" He walks away.
Commercial Break
We return and out comes Tommy Dreamer and he speaks, "As the innovator of violence I know what it takes to have some impressive moves done around here. So I am presenting the Slammy Award for the Best Finishing Maneuver. The nominees are... CM Punk's GTS, Undertaker's Hells Gate, John Cena's Attitude Adjustment, and Randy Orton's Punt Kick." He gives some anticipation, "And the Slammy goes to... The Undertaker for Hell's Gate." The lights go out and a gong is heard, but Undertaker doesn't come out. Instead we have CM Punk make his way over to Dreamer. He gets in his face and tells him to beat it. He gets on the mic, "I don't see how The Undertaker could ever beat me for an award. I have beaten him in a submission match and a TLC match. And just last night in that TLC I claimed this once again," He raises the World Heavyweight Title and the crowd boos, "Take it in all you body rotting addicts... take it in that I am your World Champion once again." They boo, "And it really doesn't matter that The Undertaker is the winner of this award, because I will go on to win Superstar of the Year... I will prove how worthy of that I am at the Royal Rumble. I spoke to Vince McMahon earlier on, and I told him I know that Undertaker wants to invoke his rematch at the Royal Rumble, but I should pick the stipulation seeing as I'm the champion. He agreed... and at Royal Rumble for the World Heavyweight Championship, myself and Undertaker will face off in a Last Man Standing Match." He looks at the Slammy Award, and takes it. He begins to walk away when a lightning bolt strikes down on center stage. Punk looks freaked out and backs up quickly to the backstage area.
We cut to a split screen to see Guerrero and Batista coming down to the ring, their match is next.
Commercial Break
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Chavo Guerrero vs Batista
Batista comes to the ring first, followed by Chavo who has new a new theme song playing. () He come down to the ring. Batista doesn't look intimidated as the bell rings and he runs at Chavo and goes for a clothesline, but he ducks it. Chavo then takes control off that and begins to strike Batista rapidly. He dropkicks him hard, and knocks him out of the ring. He slides out and beats on Batista's skull even more. He gets back up and walks around and pulls The Animal up. He pushes Chavo away as the referee reaches an 8 count, but Chavo gets in. Batista takes control and delivers tons of powerful moves to Chavo. He delivers huge shoulders to the gut repeatedly in the corner. He throws him across the ring, and Chavo gets up. He hits another dropkick, this time knocking him into the referee. 'Tista gets angry and clotheslines Chavo. He gets out of the ring and grabs a chair. He gets back in and walks over to him. Chavo however delivers a low blow with a kick, and gets back up. He takes the chair, hits Batista back with it. This puts the big man in the corner. He puts the chair in his hands and drops to the mat. The crowd loves it. The referee begins to stir, and Batista notices the chair once the ref is up. He calls for the bell.
Winner by Disqualification: Chavo Guerrero (8:30) **
Chavo rolls to the ropes, still pretending. Batista is in rage and walks over. He actually begins to hit him now, repeatedly in the back. The referee tries to stop him, but he doesn't. In comes security and more referees and they pull Batista away. He throws the chair down and yells at Chavo.
Up next is Cody Rhodes' qualifying match.
Commercial Break
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match Cody Rhodes vs R-Truth vs Tyler Reks
Reks out first, then Truth, and lastly Rhodes. The bell rings and Truth goes right at Rhodes. Reks joins in soon and they double team on him. Reks lets Truth hit some moves in, then gets some of his own. He then breaks the teamwork and starts going back and forth with Truth. They both get a few nicely spotted moves on each other. Truth eventually nails an early Axe Kick, and tries the pin before Rhodes breaks it. He's back in it now and starts going against Truth. He hits the Cross Rhodes, and gets back up. In comes Reks, who takes him into the corner for the 10 punches. He gets halfway through and Rhodes tosses him to the mat. He begins to stomp on Truth, pushing him out of the ring. Over comes Reks again, but he suffers a boot to the gut. They trade some blows, and Reks even hits a top rope dropkick and attempts the pin. Rhodes kicks out. He does this with a few moves and Truth gets in the ring. He takes Reks over the top. He turns to Rhodes and is hit with another Cross Rhodes and he gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Cody Rhodes (6:10) *1/2
Rhodes celebrates his win, and out to the ring comes Ted DiBiase. He begins to fight with Rhodes. They go back and forth across the ring, until Rhodes slips out. Ted follows him and strikes him more. He throws him into the steel steps and stomps down rapidly. He picks him up and throws him over the barricade. He begins to fight Cody throughout the crowd. Rhodes runs backstage and Ted follows. We get a camera backstage and Ted is dropped from behind. It's shown to be Mark Henry. Over comes MVP with him, and he begins to assist in the beat down. Rhodes slaps them on the back friendly, and tells them good job.
Commercial Break
We return back at the arena, we have Jim Ross come out. "This award is for the match of the year, which all of these I was lucky enough to watch right in front of me. The nominations are... Jeff Hardy vs Edge at Extreme Rules, Rey Mysterio vs Chris Jericho at The Bash, Edge vs John Cena at Backlash, and Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 25." The crowd pops mainly for HBK vs Taker. "The award goes to The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25." Out comes The Heart Break Kid, who accepts the award. "Uh, thanks? I guess uh... since Undertaker is dealing with, oh what's his name..." He taps his fingers. He looks down asking 'What?' and we see Triple H showing him cue cards. "Oh, oh... CM Punk. Since Undertaker is dealing with CM Punk, I guess I'll have to accept this Grammy... what? Slammy. I guess I'll have to accept this Slammy Award. And not to mention he already won an award so I guess it's only fair." Hunter yells up at him to read the card, "Oh right, yeah, uh... I'd like to thank my mother, my father, my wife, my kids, and more important then all of them Triple H. Now wait a minut-" Out from behind comes Chris Jericho. He clocks HBK in the back of the head with his own Slammy Award. Hunter gets up onto the stage and begins to walk up, but Show comes from behind and turns him to deliver the knockout punch. Jerishow raises their Slammy Awards in the air.
We go backstage once again, and see Dennis Miller packing up his stuff. In comes Santino Marella. "Ah, it is a you... don't you try to make paint blobs look like my burgers now, you menace." Dennis Miller looks around confused, "I knowa whatchoo a do Dennis. I know that you like to uh, messer around! But Santino Marella doesn't fall for foolish tricksters such as Dennis a Menace." Miller looks at him, "I think you have me confused my friend." Santino waves his finger, "Don't try and trickster me! I know who you are and whata you do." He stares him down and walks out.
Commercial Break
WWE Championship John Cena(c) vs Jack Swagger
Swagger is out first, followed by the champ. He raises the title up, and Swagger kicks him in the the stomach and the bell rings. He beats down on Cena for a minute until he fights back and delivers a huge suplex. He removes his shirt and tosses it to the crowd. He pulls Swagger up and delivers strikes of his own. He hits a shoulder block off the ropes. He goes for an Attitude Adjustment already, but Swagger pulls off. He delivers a hard clothesline. This gives him advantage as he locks in lots of amateur wrestling moves on the mat. He pulls Cena up and backs him to the corner. He goes to the center and runs back for a splash, but Cena moves out of the way. He catches him off the hit and delivers a huge spinout suplex. He pops back up and does his "You Can't See Me" and 5 knuckle shuffle. He backs to the corner and climbs to the top rope. He delivers a leg drop onto Swagger. He waits for him to get up, and once he does he sets up for the Attitude Adjustment. He delivers it, but Swagger smartly rolls out after. "Can Jack Swagger claim the WWE Championship after being demolished here? Find out when we return!" Michael Cole says.
Commercial Break
We return and Swagger has Cena in the corner. We are shown that during the break Cena came to the outside and Swagger low blowed him without the referee seeing. He delivers a few elbows. He delivers some different variations of hard suplexes, and waits for Cena to rise after 4. He goes for a running big boot, but Cena catches it. Swagger kicks him off into the corner and hits a clothesline against it. He delivers a huge belly to belly off the top rope. He attempts a pin but Cena kicks out. He delivers some stomps and pulls the champ up. He pulls him to his side for the Gut Wrench Powerbomb. He taunts, and yanks the champ up. Cena slips off though, grabs the leg, trips him to the mat and applies the STF. Swagger scrambles around rapidly with his hands. After a minute, however, he taps out.
Winner and still WWE Champion: John Cena (14:09) ***1/2
Cena takes the WWE Title and celebrates his victory. Out comes Mr. McMahon well he is still in the ring. He gets on the mic, "We aren't closing the show with you necessarily, John. We have one more Slammy Award to give out and that's the Superstar of the Year Award. The nominees are... The Undertaker, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, and our still WWE Champion, John Cena." He opens the envelope, "And the superstar of the year is... multi-time world champion... Randy Orton." The crowd boos in disappointment with a few cheers. Cena stands their accepting it. He turns around where Orton has appeared out of nowhere, and he delivers a huge RKO. He scoops up the WWE Title and stands up. He looks down at Cena and raises the belt high to end Raw.

ECW - December 15 Laredo Entertainment Center - Laredo, TXThe show kicks off with the intro video and pyros. We go to the ring and Tony Chimel announces how the ECW Decathlon tonight will work... "2 six-man tag team matches will be taking place, the winning teams will be moving on to a battle royal tonight also featuring Christian, Vladimir Kozlov, and Ezekial Jackson. The winner of that battle royal will move on immediatly after to take on William Regal for the ECW Championship." Drew Dalton, Vance Archer, and Eric Escobar vs Tyler Reks, Goldust, and The HurricaneOut first is the heels and then the faces. Escobar starts with Hurricane, and Escobar has lots of control over the less weighted opponent. He begins to fight back, and delivers some nice high moves. Hurricane tags in Reks, he comes in and delivers tons of punches back and forth with Escobar, who makes the tag to Archer. This has Reks lose control, and Archer deliver tons of strong moves. He gets a few near falls, but Reks manages to scramble away eventually and tag in Goldust. He gets in and takes tons of shots to Archer, and Dalton makes the blind tag from behind. Goldust dropkicks Archer, dropping him through the ropes. He taunts, and turns into a sitout chokebomb by Dalton. He gets the 3 count off it. Winners of the match: Drew Dalton, Vance Archer, and Eric Escobar (6:24) **Post-match, Dalton keeps the choke in again like last week. In comes Reks, who kicks him in the face. The only reason we did that is because we realized something... we realized that you people, you so called fans, don't deserve to see us entertain. We are here for ourselves and none of you! You know deep down inside that myself and the world's strongest man here, are the best tag team in the WWE!" Everybody but Henry goes down, and Cena uses all his strength with a shoulder block to take Henry to the corner. Cody runs over and takes Cena down. Kofi begins to assist Cena by attacking Rhodes. This breaks into a brawl. After about 2 minutes of fighting, over the top goes MVP thanks to Bourne. Then goes Cody from Kingston. Orton slips out himself before anybody can get their hands on him. Henry is dazed in the middle of the ring, and all 4 men look at each other. Ted applies the Million Dollar Dream cobra clutch, releases after a little while, and Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise. Bourne jumps off the top rope with the knees, but Henry stays up still. He wobbles, and Cena prepares. He uses all his strength to lift him onto his shoulders, looks at the 3 on the outside, and drops with the Attitude Adjustment. His music hits as he taunts. Orton looks on in shock at what just happened, and Raw ends with Kofi, Evan, Ted, and the WWE Champion standing along the ropes.

ECW - December 22 Germain Arena - Fort Myers, FL We have the whole intro video and pyros, and go to the arena. Out comes Ezekiel Jackson. He gets on the mic, "I came here to ECW for one reason and one reason only... and that's so I could make it to the top. So I could take the ECW Championship. Because it's not about a guy who thinks he's a king, William Regal, it's about me.. the powerhouse of ECW." The crowd cheers a bit, and out to the ramp comes Regal with Kozlov with a mic of his own. "Sir, pardon me... Madam Ezekial, you thought you could get away with laying your hands on me last week? The ECW Champion? I deserve respect from a minion like you." He begins to come down to the ring, and gets in with Kozlov. "So let's put this all behind us?" He puts his hand out. Jackson goes to shake it, but Regal shakes his head, "No. You need to get on your knee and kiss my hand." Jackson glares at him and looks around the arena. He gets down on one knee. He takes hold of the ECW Champion's hand, looks up at him, and jumps to his feet. He hooks his arms around his waist, pulls him up, and drops Regal with the spinebuster. Kozlov runs over, but Zeke hits one to him as well. He walks over to Regal, who rolls out. Out to the ramp comes Tiffany. "Zeke, I know how badly you want to beat up Mr. Regal here, but I can't allow you to do that. Tonight, he is defending that ECW Championship - not against you, but against Christian. But I do have a proposition for you... tonight, you face Vladimir Kozlov. You win that match, you'll face off against the winner of tonight's match at the Royal Rumble for that ECW Championship." He nods with a smirk. Commercial BreakRoyal Rumble Qualifier Zack Ryder vs Curt HawkinsOut comes Ryder, followed up by Hawkins. The bell rings, and Ryder pleads for Curt to hold on. He doesn't, and begins to strike him hard. He whips him to the ropes, runs at him, and hits a huge discus elbow. Hawkins pulls him up, and delivers a suplex. Pin attempt, 2 count. He gets back up with him, whips him to the corner. He runs at him, but Zack moves away from a clothesline. He hits a dropkick off the turn around. He attempts a pin, near fall. He begins to work with some ground moves, and pulls Hawkins up. He begins to fight back, but Ryder rakes the eyes. He attempts the Zack Attack, but Hawkins pulls away. He begins to deliver some hard shots of his own, and once Ryder hits off the ropes he delivers a Samoan Drop. Lots of near falls in the next minute coming off Hawkins, and he pulls his former tag team partner up. He hits off the ropes, and goes for the clothesline. Ryder ducks and he hits off the ropes. This gives Zack the advantage and he rolls him up. He puts his feet on the ropes for leverage and gets the 3. Winner of the match: Zack Ryder (7:48) **1/2Ryder celebrates his victory, as Hawkins looks in disappointment. He rises to his feet and Zack walks over. He pats his back, and offers him a headband from his tights. Hawkins begins to reach out to it, but Ryder delivers the Zack Attack. He taunts over Curt. Commercial BreakWe return, and we are backstage where The Hurricane and Goldust are talking to each other. "Golden one, we did not win back at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. However, we did put up the best fight against the ones called D-Generation X! And last week, the evil doer Drew Dalton, kept his hands around your throat, and didn't let go. He tried to put an end to your patriotic ways here on ECW." Goldust nods, "You're ra-ra-right! I need to get reve-e-e-e-e-enge! I will b-b-b-b-beat beat him tonight and move oh-oh-onto the Royalalalal Rumble! ACH!" They high five, and Hurricane 'flies off the screen' and Goldust runs after. Royal Rumble Qualifier Drew Dalton vs Goldust w/The HurricaneOut comes Dalton, and he walks around the ring. Then comes Goldust and Hurricane. He looks determined. The bell rings, and Dalton hits a big boot. He begins to work the head fast, along with the neck after. He delivers lots of hard offensive moves for a minute or so and attempts a pin. Goldust kicks out. He gets back up, ducks a clothesline and hits a lot of punches straight to the forehead. He comes off the ropes and jumps for a spinning DDT, but Dalton reverses by holding him and running to the corner and smashing Goldust against the turnbuckle. He then manhandles him with a choke, letting the count reach 4. He takes Goldust to the center, locks his hands around the throat, and delivers the sitout chokebomb pin. 1, 2, 3. Winner of the match: Drew Dalton (4:41) *1/2Once again, he keeps the choke in like previous weeks, and in comes Hurricane. He delivers a low dropkick, hitting Dalton in the face. He stumbles up, and Hurricane hits another one to the chest. He rises up fast, hits off the ropes, and runs at him. He gets caught around the throat, and is hit with the chokebomb as well. Dalton has a furious look on his face, and keeps it on tight. He finally lets go as soon as Hurricane is unconscious. He rises, raising his arms in taunt standing over the fallen team of Goldust and Hurricane. Commercial BreakThe promo video of Edge's return at Royal Rumble that was done on Raw the night before plays. For the second week in a row, a huge crowd pop for it. If Jackson wins, he faces for the ECW Championship at Royal Rumble Ezekiel Jackson vs Vladimir KozlovKozlov is out first, then an angered Jackson. The match starts, and they lock up heavily. Kozlov pushes him to the corner, but Jackson swings a punch straight into the face. He hits tons of hard strikes, bounces off the ropes, and hits a clothesline. He covers for a pin, 2 count. They both get up, and they trade some shots. Kozlov ducks one, and hits a neckbreaker. He works on the neck with a headlock on the mat, but Jackson fights back. He gets onto his hands and knees and forces himself up. He begins to elbow Kozlov in the gut, and manages to pry him off. He hits the ropes and goes for a big boot, but Kozlov ducks and delivers a take down by the leg. Jackson looks hurt from it, and Kozlov delivers tons of stomps down on it. He works the leg for about 2 minutes with different moves, and pulls Jackson up. He goes off the ropes for his Battering Ram, but Jackson pulls away. He hits a clothesline, Kozlov gets up. He does this two more times, and once hes up on the third he hits a huge big boot with his good leg. He pulls Kozlov up, but the Russian fights back. He comes off the ropes, but Jackson catches him by the throat and lifts up for the chokeslam and drops down the Moscow Mauler hard. He covers for the 3. Winner of the match: Ezekiel Jackson (10:50) ***He gets up, tending to his leg, and raises his arm in victory. He spits on Kozlov, and steps out of the ring. He manages his way up the ramp. Commercial BreakWe return, where we are shown backstage the World's Greatest Tag Team. Haas and Benjamin are in mid-conversation. "Charlie, I'm glad we have the old band back together. And we are going to make the Tag Team Division ours." He agrees, "And we can do it for these people." Shelton looks at him confused, "For these people? What have they done for us except boo? Good joke, Charlie." He pats him on the back laughing and walks off. Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship William Regal© vs ChristianOut comes Christian to cheers, and Regal to boos. He originally came out with Kozlov, but the referee sent him backstage. The bell rings, and we are under way. Christian with some early offense, and he tosses Regal against the corner. He hits a boot to the gut, and Regal walks along the ropes. He follows and hits the back hard with a club. He takes hold of the hair and tights, and throws the ECW Champion shoulder first into the steel post. He drops to the outside. Christian follows, taunts to the crowd and looks under the ring. He pulls out a trashcan. He turns to the now standing Regal, who kicks Christian in the gut. He drops the trashcan, and he is hit with a DDT right on it. Regal rises, and pulls the challenger up. He rolls him in the ring, and grabs a kendo stick from under the ring. He gets in as Christian rises, runs at him, and swings the kendo low and hits him in the gut. Christian drops to a knee. He hits him again in the back, laying him out. He applies a choke with it. Christian begins to send elbows back, hitting Regal in the side. He lets go. The challenger rises, and hits a dropkick. He pulls Regal out of the ring with him, and throws him into the barricade. He looks under the ring again, and pulls out a chair. He walks over, but is low blowed with a hard kick. Regal takes the chair in one hand, and Christian in the other. He throws him against the steel steps sitting. A swing of the chair, but he moves and the champ hits the steps hard. He holds his hand in pain. Christian comes up from behind now, and throws him face first against the steel post. Regal falls over as we go to a commercial. Commercial BreakWe return, and in the ring now we have a table, chair, and trash can lid with a stop sign slightly falling out. Christian picks up the sign, and smacks the ECW Champion over the head with it. He attempts a pin, but a 2 count. He takes the table now and sets it up. Striker and Mathews go over how Regal used a table to beat Christian for that ECW Title just a little over a week ago. Regal is up, and ducks a clothesline. He scoops the chair up and clocks Christian with it. He falls against the ropes. Regal pulls him in the air for a suplex, and backs up to the table. Christian slides back, and lifts up on his own. He throws Regal down forward and through the table. The crowd loves that, and cheer. Christian gets to his feet a minute later via the ropes, and walks to Regal. He pulls him up by the hair, and Regal clocks him in the jaw. Christian falls down, and Regal covers him for the 3. Winner and still ECW Champion: William Regal (19:40) ***1/2The referee raises the dazed Regal's hand in victory, and we see on his other fist brass knuckles. The ref hands him the ECW Championship, which Regal cradles up with. Down comes Kozlov, and he celebrates with him to end ECW.
