The Pittsburgh fans boo as Orton slowly rises back on to his feet, being joined in the ring by Batista. The two stand over Show and mock him over the victory, Orton throwing a couple more stomps - having to be held back by the official. Him and Batista high five as the commentary team goes over the replay of Batista costing Show the match, allowing his long-time friend to get the victory and enter the Royal Rumble match. Back live, Orton and Batista exit the ring and make their way up the ramp as Show is left staring from inside the ring, enraged.
The cameras cut backstage to Mick Foley in his office along with The Bella Twins with the tumbler of numbers inside of it for the Royal Rumble match coming up later on. They smile as Dolph Ziggler heads in, expressing his excitement to get his number. "Mick, hows it going? Two years after our big WrestleMania match and look where we are now! You're Commissioner, I've been the World Champion and now I'm about to win the Royal Rumble." He laughs as Foley says there are twenty nine other guys thinking the same thing. Ziggler proceeds to grab his number after The Bella Twins roll it, opening it up and staring for a moment, raising an eyebrow. "Not great but not bad... hey, it doesn't matter though! I'm the 'Show Off' and I could enter at number one or thirty and I'd show off for no matter how long I have to be out there." Foley wishes him luck as Ziggler heads out, the Commissioner turning back to the Bella Twins and asking them to keep tumbling, he likes it when they tumble.
Back at ringside Cole, Lawler and JBL go over what happened on the Kickoff Show earlier on where The Miz hosted MizTV with special guest, Triple H. In The Game's first WWE television appearance since Survivor Series, Miz questioned how Hunter about how he wasn't showing his face anymore, how The Authority only has Orton and Batista on track, Dean Ambrose constantly calling him out and his wife rumored to be pregnant. Triple H would grow furious with Miz before telling him he was removed from the Royal Rumble and now has to go toe-to-toe against another man not taking part of the Rumble, Antonio Cesaro!
Antonio Cesaro vs The Miz
The bell sounds, the two coming in to the middle of the ring with Miz smack talking Cesaro, only to get laughed at. "I should be in the Rumble, not facing you!" Miz shouts, smacking Cesaro across the face! Mr. Money in the Bank looks away, rubbing his face before turning back to Miz and popping him with a big uppercut that sends him against the ropes! Cesaro continues to go off with uppercuts, giving Miz one big toss in the air before smashing him to the mat with another! He hooks both legs up quickly, only getting a count of two. Miz tries to get out of the ropes but Cesaro comes up from behind, slamming him with shots to the head repeatedly. He stands Miz up on the turnbuckle and prepares to lift him up, Miz trying to stay put. Cesaro, however, hits a couple of elbows and delivers the inverted superplex right in to the middle of the ring! Both men remain laid out, rolling around while holding on to their backs. They both get up and come back towards each other, Miz ducking away from a big boot and hooking for the Skull Crushing Finale only for Cesaro to flip him over his shoulder and take hold of the legs! Miz tries to flop free but Cesaro smiles, looking out to the crowd before bringing Miz up and giving him the big swing to the delight of the fans as he goes around fifteen times! Cesaro flexes his muscles, the Pittsburgh fans cheering him on as he cranks his neck and lets Miz get up, hitting him with the Neutralizer right in the middle of the ring! Cesaro rolls Miz over and hooks both legs up for the three count.
Winner of the match via pinfall, Antonio Cesaro (6:56)
Cesaro gets back on to his feet and has his arm raised by the official, also having his briefcase handed over. He steps up to the ropes and holds it high over his head, the crowd jeering as Miz rises on to his feet, holding on to his head enraged. Miz motions Cesaro to turn around and he does so, blasting Miz in the face with the briefcase before Miz can do anything. The fans pop once again as Cesaro continues his celebration, getting out of the ring and heading towards the back with Miz left unconscious in the middle of the ring.
Backstage once again is Mick Foley and The Bella Twins, The Commonwealth entering the room together. "You know, Mick," Barrett says with a laugh while adjusting his Intercontinental Championship. "We have five members of The Commonwealth here entering the Royal Rumble. That gives us a sixteen percent chance of winning the Royal Rumble, but with the way I do math... I got a one hundred percent chance of winning." William Regal, Damien Sandow, Drew McIntyre and Adam Rose all pick their numbers before Paige tells Barrett she has to head off for her match, handing him his number as well. Barrett gives her a kiss and his men open their numbers up, having mixed reactions. "Don't worry, men." Barrett states, patting Sandow on the back. "Low or high, all that matters is that we get the job done." The group agrees as Barrett opens his number up with a smile, only for that look on his face to completely flip. Rose leans in, looking down at it. "I thought mine was bad..." He says as his eyes widen, Barrett ordering him to shut up and barging out of the room. The rest of The Commonwealth follows out, Foley looking to the Bellas and saying he must have not got number thirty.

The champion gets up towards the corner and Natayla smashes her with a splash in to the corner, following it up with a suplex that leads to another count of two. Natalya stirs back up slowly and lets Paige rise, knocking her back against the ropes before lifting her for a powerslam - the champion managing to drop behind and hit a kick to the tailbone. Paige takes a hold of the hair, slamming a boot in to the face followed by a spinning side slam! Paige goes and hooks the legs for a near fall. Both divas rise and Paige rushes up to Natalya, slamming her back first in to the corner. She takes a hold of the hair and pushes Natalya's head off the turnbuckle over and over. The referee has to restrain Paige after the count of four, Natalya taking advantage of the situation to deliver a brutal clothesline! Paige gets back up and Natalya puts her in the abdominal stretch, the champion screaming out in pain. As Paige seems close to submitting, only to pull herself close enough to the ropes to grab on to the top one. Natalya, frustrated, lets go of the hold and slams Paige down to the mat. The champion gets to her feet in the corner and throws Natalya between the ropes, stepping out to the apron while holding down the neck. She looks out to the crowd and leans back with a scream, throwing knee after knee to the chest - soon turning them in to kicks! The referee gets to a count of three and Paige lets Natalya fall back in to the ring and slowly goes on to the top turnbuckle. Natalya gets back up slowly and steps up to Paige before she can jump, only for Paige to wrap her legs around the head and hit a big headscissors takedown! Both women rise and Paige goes for the Ram-Paige, only for Natalya to push her away and go for the Sharpshooter once again only for Paige to roll through, rise back up and hit the Paige Turner as Natalya gets back up! The Queen of The Commonwealth hooks both legs up for the pinfall.
Winner of the match and still Diva's Champion, Paige (8:01)
The WWE Universe boos their displeasure with the result as Paige gets on to both knees with a grin across her face. The referee hands over the Diva's Championship and Paige gets up, holding it high over her head while staring down at Natalya, left curled up on the mat in pain.
Backstage, Byron Saxton is standing by and he welcomes his guest at this time, CM Punk. The crowd pops for 'The Best in the World' as he steps forward, Saxton noting how we are just minutes away from the No Holds Barred Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He questions Punk, after what happened at Cyber Sunday and what Brock has done to his other opponents in the past, how he is feeling going in to this match. "I've seen what Brock has done to everybody he has faced since coming back at this very event last year, Byron... then I had to face him last month and he kicked my ass. Tonight, I expect him to kick my ass again. But the only difference tonight is..." He takes a moment before speaking again, saying that the difference is Brock isn't going to win tonight. "I'm going to come at Brock with everything I've got. I've been in the ring with The Rock, I main evented WrestleMania against John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin. I've been in the ring with a lot of guys, Byron, but nobody has ever been as ruthless as Brock has. But tonight, he can be as ruthless as he wants because I'm going to be just as - if not more - ruthless than him and I'm going to win back what belongs to the best in the world: The Undisputed WWE Championship." He heads off, the crowd from inside the Consol Energy Center cheering Punk on.
A promo video airs behind "Addicted to Pain" by Alter Bridge, highlighting how the road to WrestleMania begins at the Royal Rumble. Before the grandest stage of them all can be reached, however, the WWE Must go through a night where there is: No Way Out. Live on February 23, 2014 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Back live, Santino Marella is seen talking with Mick Foley about the 'Royeler Rumbler', saying he has a good feeling about tonight. He proceeds to take out the Cobra and dives inside the tumbler, removing a number. Before he can open it, however, Alberto Del Rio enters the room and grabs a number of his own - staring Santino down. "A good feeling tonight, huh? Trade numbers with me, then." Del Rio says, Marella saying he doesn't have to do that only for Del Rio to take a hold of the cobra and bend it backwards, Marella squealing before handing the number over. Foley shakes his head, telling Alberto that wasn't necessary. Del Rio opens his number up while laughing, before frowning. Santino peaks over his shoulder and begins to burst out laughing, Del Rio ordering him to trade back. "I don't thinka so, Alburro! No trades backs! Good luck out there, buddy!" He exits the room, Alberto clenching the number in his fist. "It could be worse," Foley says to the side. "Well, not much worse, but..." Alberto mutters under his breath and storms out of the room, leaving Foley to shrug his shoulders and back off.
A graphic appears for the match coming up next between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a No Holds Barred match! A promo video proceeds to air behind the official Royal Rumble theme song, "Heart of a Warrior" by Dizzee Rascal. The promo begins back after Survivor Series, where Commissioner Mick Foley would make the announcement that CM Punk and Brock Lesnar would face at Cyber Sunday with the possibility of both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship being on the line at the same time. The fans would vote that way and Lesnar would walk out victorious. In following weeks, things would grow more personal between CM Punk and Paul Heyman, with Heyman constantly digging in to Punk's personal life to get under his skin. Things would come to a head just six days ago on Raw, with Punk threatening to attack Heyman only for Lesnar to make his first appearance since the first Raw of 2014. The two would brawl, ending with Punk smashing Lesnar with chair shots before hitting his signature elbow drop from the top rope through the announce table. The promo video comes to a conclusion with Lesnar raising the two title belts in the air with Punk staring him and Heyman down.

He fires away with knee after knee, Punk managing to pull away after getting put in to the corner. He throws multiple kicks to the legs and one to the shoulder, leaping on to the second turnbuckle and firing away with fists to the head - refusing to let up on it! The 'Best in the World' shows off his athleticism by throwing a big kick over the top rope and in to the head of Brock! He follows up with a springboard clothesline that sends Lesnar down to the mat. Punk scrambles and hooks both legs up quickly - only to get a two count. Punk mounts on top of Lesnar's chest and fires off with fists to the head, pulling off after throwing sixteen shots! Lesnar throws multiple shots to the back, hooking the waist - hitting a huge German suplex once again! He gets on to his feet and looks to Heyman on the outside with a laugh, his manager praising him. "It's just like Cyber Sunday, Brock! It's just like Cyber Sunday! Finish him, Brock! Finish him!" Lesnar takes Punk by the hair and drags him up in to the corner, hitting shoulders to the gut repeatedly. He takes Punk by the arm and drags him out, hitting a belly to belly on the comeback! Lesnar goes for the pin but Punk kicks out just in the nick of time, causing the champion to get on both knees with a grin. He drags Punk towards the ropes and rolls out of the ring, dragging Punk with him. He pulls him off the ground and charges towards the steel post, only for Punk to push off at the last second and slam Lesnar's head off the post! He throws multiple kicks to the chest and follows up with fists to the top of the skull. He steps over to the barricade and jumps on to it, measuring Brock off before leaping off with an elbow to the head that sends the champion down on to one knee! He steps over to the timekeeper and moves him out of the way, picking up the steel chair and closing it. He steps back up to the Beast Incarnate and gives a big smack of the chair across the back! He hits him three more times before turning to Heyman with a sick grin, stepping up to his former mentor. "You want some of this, Paul!?" Punk shouts, with Heyman putting his hands up and begging. Lesnar starts to stir, however, causing Punk to turn his attention back to his opponent. He storms forward but misses the chair shot to the head, Lesnar lifting him off the ground and slamming him spine first in to the announce table! He whips Punk around and slams him in to the steel post before coming right back to the announce table! Brock removes the top of the table and pulls out the monitors, keeping one in his hand. Punk gets back on to his feet, spreading his hands out to the cheering crowd. Brock stumbles forward to the ring and puts his face down in to the mat, catching his breath. He takes his time moving back around the announce table, dragging Punk out from behind it and whipping him face first in to the steel post. Lesnar pounces on the opportunity, chucking Punk shoulder first in to the barricade! Lesnar stands over him and drives knee after knee to the chest and gut, backing off after eleven straight shots. He looks around the arena and laughs, going around the ring and taking the steel chair Punk had used earlier. He walks back over to Punk and lets him rise, raising the chair up high only to be smacked in the gut with a hard fist. Lesnar drops the chair and Punk begins to fire away with hard kicks to the chest, nailing one big one to the head that sends Brock stumbling backwards against the ring. Punk runs to him and leaps, only for Lesnar to catch the legs and flip Punk over the ropes and in to the ring! As Lesnar re-adjusts himself, Punk gets back off and flies across the ring - coming back with a suicide dive that sends Lesnar crashing in to the barricade!
Both men remain motionless as Heyman leans down over his client, begging for him to get up. "Come on, Brock! Don't let this get to you! COME ON, BROCK!" As he continues to plead, Punk rises on to his feet and stares Paul down - shoving him down on his back! Punk drags Lesnar up and pounds him with shots to the face, rocking him towards the announce table. He goes back for his steel chair and runs right back at Brock, leaping and smashing him right in the face! Lesnar falls across the table and Punk gets right back up with a huge smile. He goes towards the ring and hops on to the apron, pointing towards the sky to a pop from the crowd. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" He screams, shaking his head with worry in his eyes. Punk begins to move slowly after almost a minute of being down, using the other announce table to get himself up. Punk stumbles as he rises, falling back against the ring and laughing at Heyman, despite barely being able to walk. He manages to get himself over to Lesnar and bring him to his feet, shoving him in to the ring and going for the pinfall - Lesnar managing to kick out just before the three count! The crowd, commentators and Punk are all left in shock at the kick out! Winner of the match and still Undisputed WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar (23:44)
The Consol Energy Center fills with boos as Paul Heyman slowly comes in to the ring with both championship belts and a huge smile across his face. As he waits for Lesnar to stir, the commentators go over all the big highlights in the match with both men completely destroying each other from Punk's elbow drop through the announce table to the multiple finishing moves, with the match coming to the end thanks to Paul Heyman's other client - Roman Reigns - costing Punk the match. Back live, Lesnar rises on to his feet and has both titles presented to him by Heyman. "Brock Lesnar may still be the Undisputed WWE Champion, but we just saw for the first time in months some vulnerability from the Beast Incarnate and he damn sure could have lost!" Cole shouts in frustration on commentary, Lawler agreeing with him by saying that if it weren't for Roman Reigns, he believes Punk would be the one standing tall right now.
A promo video airs for Total Divas, airing on the E! Network on Sunday nights.
Back in the arena, the cameras pan up to the Royal Rumble Kickoff Panel consisting of Renee Young, Booker T, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Alex Riley. The crowd goes absolutely wild for Austin as Young notes how big of a night it has been already and now we just have the Royal Rumble match left, but first she wants to get to what just happened between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. She asks the panel for their thoughts, Booker shaking his head. "I'm disgusted, man." He says, stating that he believes CM Punk should have won that match. Austin agrees, shrugging his shoulders. "I've known Brock for a long time. Brock is an ass kicker but tonight he got his ass kicked some and the fact that he had to have outside help tonight says a lot to good ol' Stone Cold." Riley agrees with the other two but says that nonetheless, Brock Lesnar is the Undisputed WWE Champion and whoever wins the Royal Rumble tonight might have to go head to head with Lesnar at WrestleMania and he doesn't know if they really want that. Renee moves forward to the Royal Rumble match, saying they talked about it earlier but saved their predictions for right now and asks the group who they are going with. Booker says he can't bet against a man who has done it before, just as Austin has, so he is going with John Cena. Austin nods, saying that is a good pick but he doesn't agree. "What have we seen the past few years? We've seen the young guys get their careers picked up. Punk last year, for example. After I kicked his ass at WrestleMania the year before, he came back at the Royal Rumble and won the whole thing after entering number one of all spots... guys rebound here and I'm going with the young guy Seth Rollins! He had a good run, got stopped and now he is bringing it back by winning the Rumble here tonight." Riley's eyes widen, saying he wasn't expecting that from Stone Cold and completely disagrees. "Let's go back just a few minutes ago, Renee. That man that just cost CM Punk the Undisputed WWE Championship? That's my pick: Roman Reigns. Since he debuted last year the night after WrestleMania he has proved himself over and over again and I believe he will do it again by winning the Royal Rumble!" He takes a page out of Reigns' book by throwing in 'Believe that!' as Renee thanks the trio for being on the panel tonight, Stone Cold throwing out to the crowd asking if they are ready for the Royal Rumble to give him a 'Hell yeah!' which results in a huge response.
A promo video proceeds to air for the Royal Rumble match. There are thirty men, with only one winner. That one gets to go on to WrestleMania and compete for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Only one man has won the Royal Rumble on three occasions: Stone Cold Steve Austin. Also three times? A Royal Rumble winner from number one, including last year with CM Punk. The luckiest number, however? Twenty seven. Four winners have come from that position. Another twenty seven? This year's Royal Rumble being the twenty seventh event. Tonight, thirty men come in at ninety second intervals, each vying for the opportunity to go on to WrestleMania XXX. The promo goes on, the crowd counting down from ten as they do between entrants, multiple superstars being shown over the weeks trying to prove themselves as capable of winning the Royal Rumble match. The signature buzzer from between intervals hits as the promo video fades to black.
Back live in the arena, the bell rings as Justin Roberts is standing in the middle of the ring. "The following contest is the 2014 Royal Rumble match!" The crowd explodes as Roberts proceeds to explain the rules, where two superstars will start in the ring and a new superstar will enter the match every ninety seconds. A superstar is eliminated after they are thrown over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor. The last superstar remaining after all thirty men have entered will be the winner of the Royal Rumble match and will receive an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania XXX!
