The opening video package airs; showing highlights from Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels and the classical "Montreal Screwjob". It fast forwards to Bret making his return to the WWE wanting to manage The Hart Dynasty, but McMahon wanting no part of it. Highlights from the past six months between the two are shown, including the attempts to destroy The Hart Dynasty. The package switches to Christian and Kane, showing Kane destroying Christian over the past few weeks with every chance he gets and Christian putting up a fight against him. It finally shows Batista attacking John Cena at Summerslam and all that they have been through since the event, primarily Batista winning the title at Night Of Champions, losing it to Cena two weeks later in a brutal Hell in a Cell match-up, and the weeks of hype to the match of career vs championship in recent weeks.
Cutting to the live arena, "Fallout" by Alter Bridge playing as pyros click across the stage. Cutting to ringside Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Michael Cole welcome everybody to Survivor Series - and this is anticipated to be one of the greatest Survivor Series events in WWE history! All three are pumped about the main event between Team Hart and Team McMahon, but also the other WWE and World Heavyweight Championship matches, but Cole reminds everyone there is even more than that, and those other matches will certainly help this event go down in the history books as it's own chapter.
5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series MatchChris Jericho, The Miz,
CM Punk,
Sheamus, and
Bryan Danielson vs
Ted DiBiase,
Santino Marella,
Kaval,
Evan Bourne, and
Rey Mysterio
The bell rings, Miz starting things off with Mysterio. They circle around the ring once, Mysterio getting his shoulder tapped by Danielson. He turns and Miz rushes up behind him, clotheslining him right down to the mat. He takes his leg and lifts it up, dropping the knee straight down. He does it again before pulling Mysterio up and sending him to the corner, running right after but missing a clothesline. Mysterio hits a few kicks to the mid section before delivering a huge hurricanrana that sends Miz across the ring. They both get up and Mysterio low dropkicks his knees and makes a tag to Santino, who gets in and kicks him in the stomach. Miz rolls around as Marella yells at him in broken English. He pulls him up, but gets a thumb to the eye. Miz fires off with shots and tops it off with a kick to the gut and a neckbreaker. He drags Marella over and tags in Sheamus and he hits a few knees to the stomach. He measures Marella up before hitting him with a scoop slam. He goes off the ropes as Marella rises again and hits a huge Brogue Kick, dropping to the mat and pinning him right after.
Santino Marella is eliminated (3:04). Kaval enters the ring and hits a bunch of kicks to the lower body of Sheamus, actually getting some control over him. He jumps up and hits a huge dropkick that sends him to the outside. Kaval hits off the opposing teams side of the ropes and comes rushing, hitting a baseball slide to Sheamus, sending him back into the announce table. Sheamus isn't happy about it and grabs a steel chair, storming into the ring and missing a shot to Kaval. He turns back around and drops it, getting met with a sharp kick to the ribs and a forearm to the jaw. Kaval comes off the ropes and goes for a flying kick but Sheamus manages to dip under it and hook both arms fast, yanking him up off the mat and hitting a huge Celtic Cross. He covers him and gets the pinfall.
Kaval is eliminated (5:42). Sheamus gets back up with a smirk and turns to a huge knee drop from the top rope by Bourne. They both get right back up, Bourne hitting him with tons of kicks much like Kaval did. He ducks a clothesline and dropkicks him into the corner and puts the chair in sitting position. He goes to the other side of the ring and runs to the chair, jumping off it and into the arms of Sheamus, who throws him back first over the chair. Bourne scrambles around on the mat as the referee declares Sheamus disqualified.
Sheamus is eliminated (6:39). The Celtic Warrior isn't done, though, as he folds the chair back up and pounds it over Bourne's back twice out of frustration. Punk gets in the ring and tells Sheamus he'll take it from here. They stare at each other for a little while until Sheamus final exits the ring and Punk begins to drag Bourne up to his knees, sending him back down with a huge kick to the chest. He drags him right back up to his feet, tossing him into the corner and backing up, rushing back with the knee and bulldog combination. Punk goes for the pin but Mysterio rushes in and breaks it up. Punk gets right up and shoves Mysterio away, the referee having to split them up and send Rey back to his corner. Punk mocks him and turns to Bourne, dragging him up only to be caught in the playing possum predicament as Bourne rolls him up, snagging a three count!
CM Punk is eliminated (9:10). Three-on-three now as Jericho gets into the ring fresh, making his way over to Bourne and grabbing his foot to keep him from making a tag. Bourne manages to get onto his hands and knees and rolls through, tossing Y2J into the open corner. He rolls to his side and makes a quick tag to DiBiase, who comes storming in and drops Jericho with a clothesline. He pops up and receives it again, and once more before being hit with a suplex. DiBiase goes for the pin off it, only getting a two count. He drags Jericho back to his feet and works him against the ropes, hitting tons of shots before clotheslining him over. The referee begins to count and Miz goes over to Jericho, trying to will him on. He helps him up but Jericho shoves him away telling him they don't need this. He begins to walk up the ramp as the crowd boo, Miz seeming conflicted to follow him or not. The referee ends up getting a ten count.
Chris Jericho is eliminated (11:01). Danielson enters the ring behind DiBiase and Miz gets in, quickly being met with shots from Ted. The referee tells him that Miz isn't legal, DiBiase getting confused as he turns around to a kick to the gut. Danielson fires back up with a kick to the chest and then one to the back of the leg, dropping DiBiase down to one knee. Danielson prepares before snapping a kick into the back of the head. He quickly gets down and applies the Cattle Mutilation, DiBiase struggling nearly in the middle of the ring. He has no choice but to tap out.
Ted DiBiase is eliminated (11:55). Danielson rises up as Mysterio gets into the ring and the US Champion backs to his corner for a tag to Miz, but he isn't even there - but stuck on the outside! He comes rushing onto the apron, but Mysterio trips Danielson with a sweep of the legs. He pops up, Danielson getting on his knees, and kicks him square in the mouth! He lets him get back up, ducking a roundhouse kick, Danielson being forced to turn giving Mysterio the opening to dropkick him in between the ropes. Bourne comes rushing across his apron and hooking around, but getting caught by Danielson. He looks up at him, but the opening is made as Bourne pulls free just as Mysterio hits the 619! Bourne then hops into the ring and tackles Miz to the mat! Mysterio drops the dime and pins Danielson.
Bryan Danielson is eliminated (13:21). Miz gets wild eyes as Bourne is taken back to his corner by the referees orders. As Mysterio looks off for a moment towards it, Miz strikes him with a low blow and goes for the roll up pin as the referee turns back around, Mysterio managing to kick out, but still in pain. Miz yanks him right back up and pounds his head in with shots, but gets shoved away quickly. Mysterio ducks one and trips him in between the ropes and doesn't go off the ropes but stomps on the mat. Miz hops to his feet and spins around to a hurricanrana that launches him across the ring and in between the other ropes. Mysterio hops up, hits off the opposing side, and comes back with a 619! He makes the tag to Bourne and he hits Air Bourne. The pinfall is made.
Winners of the match: Team Mysterio (15:05) ***1/2
Survivors: Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne
Mysterio and Bourne high five each other and give a brotherly hug, each climbing up a turnbuckle and celebrating with the crowd as highlights of Team Danielson breaking down are shown, eventually leading to the eliminations of the captain, Bryan Danielson, by his rival Rey Mysterio and the only man left for them, The Miz, by Evan Bourne. Cutting back to the ring, Mysterio and Bourne talk about the match with each other and high five once again.
Cutting backstage, Todd Grisham introduces his guest at this time to be John Morrison. He asks him about facing Wade Barrett tonight after their altercations in the past month. Morrison says he's glad that he finally is getting this opportunity because he really wants to make sure Wade Barrett is stopped in his disgraceful run as champion before he reaches any further. Tonight, the Guru of Greatness is bringing respect back to that title. He walks away.
Intercontinental ChampionshipJohn Morrison vs
Wade Barrett©
The bell sounds and the two walk up to each other, Morrison sending the first shot. Barrett sends one right back and they trade a couple more times until Barrett boots Morrison right in the face and to the mat. He sits on his back and pounds down on him viciously. He drags him up by the hair and hits a huge upper cut, following it right up with a spinning sidewalk slam. He goes for the pin, but JoMo manages to kick out of it. They both get up, Barrett clubbing across the back and going for a clothesline, only for JoMo to lift him up and drop him over onto the floor with a thud. Barrett rises a little while after and JoMo grabs onto the ropes, flipping over them and taking the champion back down to the floor! He lands right on his feet and looks out to the cheering crowd with a smirk. He forces Barrett onto his feet and tosses him face first into the steel post before rolling him into the ring. He follows, stomping down on him until he rises up and kicks him right in the stomach. He sets up for Moonlight Drive, but Barrett shoves him away into the corner. He quickly hits a clothesline as Morrison steps out and Barrett drags him to one knee, smashing his knee into the ribs and side. He pulls him up and gets dropped into the corner after an uppercut. Morrison proceeds to climb onto the second turnbuckle and fire down with shots, attempting to do the ten punches. He gets to nine and jumps down, slowly backing off and to the middle of the ring. He turns to the crowd and waves his arms up, trying to get them fired up. Barrett, meanwhile, unties the turnbuckle and sets himself back in position. Morrison runs in and jumps onto the top turnbuckle, Barrett moving under his legs and tripping him face first into the exposed steel! Morrison holds onto his face and turns around as Barrett yanks him up onto his shoulders and drops him with The Wasteland in the middle of the ring. He smirks towards the disgusted crowd and drops down to the mat, hooking both legs for the pinfall.
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Wade Barrett (7:24) ***
Barrett is awarded his title as he points down to Morrison, saying that he is nothing compared to him and to stop trying. He begins to walk away but decides he isn't done. He tosses the title down and walks back over to Morrison, dragging him up by his hair and slapping him across the face before pulling him back onto his shoulders and delivers yet another Wasteland. The crowd boo and the referee tells him to go, Barrett laughing as he exits the ring.

Serena,
Melina, and
Laycool vs
April Lee,
Gail Kim,
Kelly Kelly,
Beth Phoenix, and
Natalya
The bell rings as Kim starts off with Maryse. They lock up and Kim quickly takes her to the mat, applying some form of an armbar. Maryse manages to get free quickly though and she takes Kim down with a stiff kick. She looks disgusted as she drags her back up into the corner, hitting some shots until the referee breaks her up. Kim comes running at her with a clothesline and takes her down. She goes for the pin, only to get a two count. Kim brings her back up, hitting a couple shots to the head until Maryse rakes her eyes and hits the French Kiss! She hooks the leg for the pin.
Gail Kim is eliminated (2:01). Beth gets in the ring and walks up behind Maryse as she is celebrating and the Glamazon lifts her up by the arms and walks around as Maryse screams to put her down. Beth shouts "okay" and slams her down with the Glam Slam and covers her for the pin.
Maryse is eliminated (2:34). Serena comes into the ring and she fires away with shots to Beth, rocking her a bit. She misses a clothesline, though, and Beth tosses her into her own corner and makes the tag to Kelly, who comes in to the middle of the ring. Beth keeps Serena against the corner until a four count, and steps out just as Kelly hits a handstand elbow into Serena's jaw. She drops onto her knees and Kelly proceeds to hit the K2 and pin Serena!
Serena is eliminated (3:30). Layla enters the ring and she takes Kelly right to the mat, screaming at her as she fires off with shots. The referee has to pull her away and Kelly gets back up to more shots to the head and mid section. She reverses an irish whip though and Layla hits off the ropes, a blind tag from McCool being made. Kelly takes Layla down with a crossbody and goes for the pin, the referee informing her she is not legal. She gets up to a kick to the gut, followed immediately by a Faith Breaker from McCool! She covers Kelly for the three count.
Kelly Kelly is eliminated (5:02). Lee enters the ring and knocks McCool to the mat with a clothesline, and then another. She sends her off the ropes and Melina does exactly what McCool had just done and takes a blind tag. Lee saw it, however, and tosses McCool over the top rope. She turns to Melina, who tries to kick her in the head, and catches hold of the foot. She spins her around and shoves her to the mat. Melina gets onto one knee and Lee hits a huge shining wizard before pinning her once again.
Melina is eliminated (6:10). Layla is the only one able to enter the ring so Lee motions her in, taking her down immediately with an arm drag. Once back up, she dropkicks Layla into the open corner and rushes in with a facewash. The crowd cheer on as she drags Layla up, Lee turning to her partners asking if she should finish her off. She catches a sudden strike, quickly moves onto applying the Octopus hold, causing Layla to scream out for Michelle, but tapping out rather quickly.
Layla is eliminated (8:22). Lee walks over to Beth and tags her in as Natalya goes and fetches McCool, tossing her into the ring. Beth lifts her up and hits a powerslam, letting her struggle back up before lifting her up for yet another slam. McCool manages to slide free though and fire off with strikes to the head, actually getting some momentum over Beth. She gets shoved off to the side though as Natalya is tagged in. She goes over to McCool and drags her to her feet, getting her eyes raked and met with a bulldog. McCool rises herself up as Layla suddenly gets into the ring with the Diva's Championship, decking her own friend with it! She exits the ring well Natalya gets back up to her feet and slowly applies the sharpshooter, still in confusion of Layla's actions as McCool taps out weakly.
Winners of the match: Team Natalya (9:41) **3/4
Survivors: Natalya, April Lee, and Beth Phoenix
The survivors of the match raise each others arms in victory as Layla stands on the ramp, looking not pleased at all. She walks to the back, McCool's Diva's Championship draped over her shoulders. Natalya, Lee, and Phoenix shrug it off and continue their celebration.
Cutting backstage, Jesse Ventura is in his office as Abraham Washington walks in. He offers handshake to him, introducing himself as the Smackdown General Manager. Ventura says he knows that, he watches Smackdown - well, parts that he actually enjoys. Washington fake laughs and calls him a funny man, but he is here to talk some serious business. He says he heard some rumors that Jesse has recently signed a free agent. Ventura rambles a bit, saying he did some things here and there, and Washington says he should fill him in. Jesse smiles and pats him on the back, saying that he will just have to wait and see like everybody else has to. Washington seems annoyed by it and says fine, and tells him he should take a seat and watch some good Smackdown action for the WWE Championship. Ventura says that sounds like a good idea and lounges out on the couch before Washington can sit down, so he plops himself slowly on the floor and grows a face of disgust because of the dirtiness of the rug, telling Ventura they need somebody to clean this pronto.
WWE ChampionshipKane vs
Christian©
The bell rings as Christian immediately goes up to Kane and fires away with shots, actually managing to knock him back into the corner. He hits a few chops before getting stiff armed to the middle of the ring. Kane sends a big boot as soon as the champ comes back and plows him into the mat. He drags him back up and hits an uppercut, following it up with yet another one that backs Christian into the ropes. Kane then backs up and returns with a clothesline that topples them both to the outside. Both men return to their feet and Kane grabs Christian by the throat, lifting him up for the chokeslam, but the champion grabs the ring ropes and drags himself onto the apron, kicking Kane in the face. The Big Red Machine stumbles off, holding his face, checking for anything. He turns back around to a crossbody that slams him into the barricade. Christian gets back up and rolls himself into the ring at the count of eight, rolling right back out to avoid a cheap victory. He walks over to Kane and tries to pull him up, getting shoved over the steel steps. He holds onto his head as Kane walks over and drags him back up, tossing him into the ring and following. As the champion staggers up and turns around, Kane grabs him by the throat and hits a huge chokeslam. He drops to the mat and hooks the leg, Christian just barely able to kick out. Kane can't believe it and he drags him right back up, tossing him over his shoulder this time for a tombstone, but Christian slips off and hooks hold of both arms, trying to spin Kane around for the Killswitch. He gets pushed away though, and he comes back off the ropes to a big boot. Kane steps out to the apron and makes his way up to the top turnbuckle slowly and dives off for his clothesline once Christian is up, but he is met with a huge mid-air dropkick! Both men are down as the referee begins to count them down and out. They roll to opposite sides of the ring and get up slowly around six, and come out to the middle of the ring. Christian ducks a shot and pounds down across the back and backs off the ropes, returning with a clothesline that merely wobbles Kane. He does it once again, Kane stumbling. He then jumps in place and hits a dropkick that sends him into the corner. Christian gets right back up as the crowd cheers him on. He goes over to Kane and pulls him back up, working him with shots to the face before being hit with a huge uppercut to the jaw. Kane grabs the throat again, but the champ kicks him in the knee and drops him down to one. He moves around and hooks hold of both arms, spinning Kane around slightly and dropping him with the best Killswitch he could do at this level. He hooks the leg, but a kick out comes at two. He holds onto the back of his head, not sure what to do. He looks around to the arena as they chant his name, and he looks over to the corner. He gets back up, steps out to the apron, and ascends to the top rope. Kane begins to stagger and Christian gets set, diving off once the monster is on his feet. He spreads his body out but Kane manages to catch hold of him, shift him onto his shoulder, tilts him upside down, and finishes it all off with a tombstone dead center of the ring. The air is nearly sucked out of the arena as Kane covers him for the three.
Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Kane (11:13) ***
Kane is given the WWE Championship which he stares at and laughs manically. He looks down to Christian, who is rolling around in pain. He drops the title and says he'll show him real pain! The referee tries to get Kane to leave, but he just shoves him down and exits the ring, shoving Justin Roberts out of his chair and folding it up, taking it back to the ring. A whole parade of referees come down to the ring quickly, attempting to get Kane not to do anything. He slams it across Christian's back as he starts to stir and Captain Charisma shouts out in pain. Kane then places the chair around his throat like he did to Shawn Michaels back in 2004. He climbs up to the second turnbuckle, the referees quickly moving to Christian, attempting to get the chair off him. Kane doesn't care and jumps off, snapping the chair around his throat - Christian convulsing violently and graphically. Kane stares down at him as the referees make sure to cover up Christian so people don't have to see it. Kane scoops up the WWE Championship and exits the ring slowly and makes his way towards the back as EMTs come rushing down to the ring with a stretcher and towels to clean him up.
Cutting to the announce table, Jim Ross apologizes for the graphic and disturbing actions of Kane and that it's just sickening. Cole says that he expected Kane to do whatever it takes to win, and he did, but then he decided to go around and do this afterward? That he didn't see coming and he doubts Christian will even be back for a rematch. Lawler says that he obviously won't be able to come back, the man had his throat crushed! Ross tells King to stop, this isn't any time to argue. The cameras pan as Christian is taken away on the stretcher towards the back as he gives a slight thumbs up to the crowd.
Cutting to a video package, John Cena is shown walking backstage after a great match with Shawn Michaels at Summerslam. Suddenly, Batista attacks him. A bitter feud between the two forms over the weeks following, and ends up reaching Night Of Champions in a Scramble Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - which Batista wins. He then defends it against Cena at Hell In A Cell in the exact match the event is named for, and Cena takes the gold away. The weeks afterward with a tag team match coming into form at Bragging Rights show, and highlights of the match where Cena and Batista fought each other play - eventually Cena and Orton picking up the victory. The next night Batista is willing to put his career on to get the title back, and the weeks preceding tonight to hype up this title vs career match are highlighted, finally concluding with a fast forward of everything between and ending with this past Monday night on Raw as Batista stands over Cena with the title around his waist, fists raised in the air.
"I Quit" Match - World Heavyweight Championship vs CareerJohn Cena© vs
Batista
As the bell rings, both men stare each other down from across the ring. They slowly step out and get literally head to head. Batista shoves Cena, who holds his hands up and takes a breath. He comes right back with a shove of his own, Batista infuriated by it. Cena motions him to come to him, and The Animal storms over only to be side stepped, caught by the neck, and tossed over the top rope. Cena dusts his hands off and does a little bit of whistling before exiting the ring and getting met with a chair to the stomach. Batista gets up with it and drops it over his back before tossing it away. The referee asks Cena if he wants to quit as Batista goes and gets the steel steps and waits for Cena to get back up. Once he does, he turns right into a shot from them and is dropped right back to the ground. Batista leaves the steps on the ground and stands to the side of Cena, the referee once again asking if he quits, Cena saying no. Batista storms over to him and drags him to his feet, dragging him up the ramp. He gets shoved away though, and he comes rushing back to Cena, who trips him right on the ramp and applies the STF! Batista yells out, but as the referee asks if he quits, he says no. Cena still pulls back on it for a while, but Batista continues to say no so Cena pulls it off. He drags him up and brings him back down to the ring, throwing him face first onto the apron. He fires some shots to the face over and over and lets him drop to the floor. He lifts up the apron and pulls out a trash can, bashing it into Batista's head once he gets up. He doesn't let the referee ask if he quits, though, and drags him up to his feet and around the ring, throwing him into the announce table. The commentators stand up as Cena takes off the top and tosses it to the side. Batista gets back up, though, and pushes Cena aside and quickly takes a monitor. Cena turns right back around to a huge shot to the head from it! He takes the cord from it and pulls it around Cena's throat, applying pressure to the back with his knee as well. Cena scrambles his hands around as the referee once again asks if he quits, Cena not giving an answer, but still fighting back and Batista gets fed up with it. He lets go of the choke and forces Cena back up, tossing him onto the announce table. He goes under the ring and grabs a ladder and lays it out in between the ring and table. He gets onto the table as well, pulling Cena up and setting him up for the Batista Bomb quickly. Cena rains down with shots over and over and slips off, clotheslining Batista down. He grabs the ladder and slowly stands it up, climbing up it as Batista starts to get up. The Animal follows right after him, shouting at him not to run. Cena stops at the top and looks as if he has nowhere to go. Batista gets right up next to him and laughs. Cena breaks out laughing as well and Batista doesn't realize why as Cena grabs onto his arm and drags him onto his shoulders quickly. Cena shifts himself onto the top so his rival faces the table. Batista starts to shout "I Quit! I Quit!" down at the referee until he calls for the bell.
Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena (14:34) ****
Cena smiles to the crowd as Batista sighs of relief, but gets wide eyes as he realizes Cena is starting to stand up! The crowd cheer wildly as Batista yells at him not to do it, but Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment off the ladder and through the announce table! The crowd erupts at the spot as Cena motions "You Can't See Me" to Batista and salutes the crowd, climbing down and taking his World Championship! He enters the ring as the referee checks down on Batista, Cena entering the ring and climbing up the turnbuckles, raising the gold to the crowd as the champ is definitely here to stay.

He eventually jumps up and drops the knee over it and stands back up, allowing Orton to get to his feet before kicking him in the gut and going for the Future Shock. The Viper manages to break free and shove him away, hitting a huge powerslam as he comes back. Orton gets back up and stomps the leg, the arm, then the other leg, the other arm, and lastly the chest. He drops down to his hands and knees, slamming his fists into the mat viciously. As McIntyre rises, Orton gets up for the RKO, but Edge rushes in and spears him. This leads to Michaels coming into the ring and fighting him off. Angle and Triple H soon enter, as well, Smith following up. The referee tries to maintain order as Orton slowly makes his way to his corner, tagging in Kidd. Everybody not legal begins to go back to where they belong as Kidd springboards off the top rope and hits the Code Blue on McIntyre! He hooks the leg and gets the pin.
Drew McIntyre is eliminated (11:05). Kidd gets back to his feet and pushes his foot into McIntyre to get him out of the ring. A second one follows, and the signature trio is completed with another. Angle gets to his feet and pulls down his straps, pulling up the foot and applying the ankle lock! Smith scrambles a little, trying to find a way free as he calls out in pain. He quickly rolls through as Angle goes to drop to the mat, and manages to dive and make a tag to Michaels as Angle is turning on his get up. Angle storms over as HBK is now in and gets met with Sweet Chin Music! The crowd burst into cheers wildly as Michaels drops to the mat and covers him for the three!
