6/1/11 Superstars Results; The Strange Promos; John Laurinaitis' Call Reported by A.J. Mathews
Superstars - June 1, 2011 - The Dudebusters defeated Santino Marella and Goldust following a double flapjack. - Joe Hennig defeated A Local Superstar via pinfall following the Perfect Plex. - The WWE Week in Review video shown on Monday Night Raw was replayed for a video segment. - The same strange video that has been airing in recent weeks showed, hyping up "6/20/11". - Tyson Kidd defeated William Regal via pinfall following The Code Blue.
- The strange promos that have been hyped up for weeks and weeks seems to be for Kane, and that is probably who it will end up being unless the WWE throws a huge curveball out of nowhere. Kane has been gone since Christian gained revenge on him by crushing his throat at WrestleMania. Unless Kane returns as a face, it is unlikely that he will be continuing his feud with Christian.
- John Laurinaitis was seen making a 'phone call' on Raw this past Monday. There has been tons of different rumors of who he was calling, but it doesn't seem much to get excited about as it seems to just be one of those things that happen and we are to forget about.

WWE Superstars: Wednesday 25th May 2011...Where's NXT this week? Santino Marella defeting Goldust AND the Dudebusters? Typo alert...not that interesting. Drew McIntyre beating Joe Hennig didn't sound appealing to me. If only McIntyre was more than just the Face of Superstars. 6/20/11 appears to be setting up the Undertaker's return. OK. Derrick Bateman beating Tyson Kidd was a decent main event, right decision there, and I liked the finish. WWE SmackDown: Thursday 26th May 2011...Alberto Del Rio is such a boring character to me. John Cena and Del Rio's exchange was decent, hopefully this feud over the WWE Championship doesn't last too much longer to me. The Usos retaining the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships was the right decision, interesting decision to have this open the show, let alone this be on television. The World's Greatest Tag Team and the Usos would have made a solid match. Cody Rhodes beating Alex Riley was clear to me, I see Cody being a contender to winning the King of the Ring. Sin Cara beating Jack Swagger was fair, cheap tactic by the WWE United States Champion. I don't like that this was the second title defended though, not even a week after Over the Limit. John Morrison beating Zack Ryder doesn't shock me too much, I think Morrison will be close to winning. He's not fit for the crown though, in my eyes. Christian's promo was pretty cool, didn't get why Ezekiel Jackson decided to interrupt him just to leave with him. That partnership is just random and unnecessary to me. Handicap main event was cool, I liked Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez getting themselves disqualified. But surely Wade Barrett hitting Cena would have gotten Del Rio & Rodriguez disqualified, rather than a no contest finish. Wade Barrett winning the WWE Championship; unexpected. Overall, very solid episode, maybe too much was on the show. Three titles on the line overall. Interested in where this goes headed closer to King of the Ring.
WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 30th May 2011...John Laurinaitis kicking off the show was nice, good promo with him putting himself over for Triple H to interrupt. Liked his talking to CM Punk, very interesting. Liked the speech from him as well, but Punk in the King of the Ring tournament? A definite sign of him either winning or being screwed over. Punk beating Drew McIntyre was what it was. Up next, Big Show with the handicap match win was meh. Should have actually used stars on the roster, rather than enhancement talent. Show's promo on Rey Mysterio was pretty good, but renders his match pointless and a waste of time. Sheamus and Chris Jericho in the main event? Joy. Solid tag team win for Randy Orton and Evan Bourne against The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, puts together the two feuds very nicely. I don't think Orton and Ziggler's feud needs to continue much longer, though. Kofi Kingston beating Carlito was predictable...drop Carlito, please. There's not much more for him to do. Chris Jericho beating Sheamus was a solid main event I suppose, as it prepared Jericho facing Daniel Bryan at King of the Ring. Apart from that, nothing much happened on this show, very passable.

June 2, 2012
Wade Barrett opened the show up bragging about his cashing in of Money in the Bank and winning the title belt. Vickie Guerrero came out and made the decision that the two of them would face to determin the number one contender for the WWE Championship at King of the Ring.

Christian defeated Derrick Bateman following assistance from Ezekiel Jackson and the Killswitch in a King of the Ring first round match. The two celebrated together and Regal accompanied Bateman to the back.

Ted DiBiase defeated United States Champion Jack Swagger in a King of the Ring first round match following a fake appearance from Sin Cara. The music hit but he never showed up, allowing DiBiase to hit Dream Street and get the pin.
Unified Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated The South Beach Party Boys in a non title match following a double splash from the top rope on Darren Young.
Beth Phoenix and April Lee versus Kharma went to a no contest thanks to the Diva's Champion beating both women down and leaving the arena.
Another 6/20 promo aired, hyping up somebody to show up. Both John Cena and Alberto Del Rio were then interviewed about why they should be the number one contender for the WWE Championship. Cena said he feels like he didn't get his fair shot at the title belt, but now it's all fair game and he will defeat Del Rio. Alberto said in his interview that he didn't agree with this decision at all, and that he should get his title match straight up. He said Vickie will regret her decision, and he will break John Cena's arm if it means getting his WWE Championship back.
Alberto Del Rio and John Cena went to a no contest following Wade Barrett coming to the ring and attacking both men. Vickie Guerrero came out after the match and said that due to what just happened, Wade Barrett will have to defend his WWE Championship at King of the Ring against John Cena and Alberto Del Rio both.
June 6, 2012
CM Punk opened the show up, cracking jokes about John Laurinaitis, which brought the Co-General Manager out. Punk dared him to fire him after a heated argument about Lauriniaitis' abuse of power, to which John declined. He then decided that instead he'd be in a match.
CM Punk defeated Sheamus via pinfall after the Go To Sleep. He trash talked Laurinaitis some more into the camera.
Big Show defeated Richie Steamboat following the Knockout Punch. He began to beat him down on the outside until Rey Mysterio made the save, causing Show to back off.
Dolph Ziggler gave a promo about winning King of the Ring, and that this Friday against Ted DiBiase - he's warning Ted that he'll be struck by the light of perfection. Randy Orton was interviewed about possibly moving on in King of the Ring. Orton said that he has been to the top many times, but this is something he hasn't done, but he intends to cross it off the list on June 19.
Christian defeated Randy Orton in a King of the Ring Second Round Match following interference from The Miz, which allowed Christian to get the pinfall. Returning from commercial, John Lauriniatis gave The Miz a match against Orton at King of the Ring.
April Lee defeated Beth Phoenix following a roll up to become the Number One Contender to the Diva's Championship. Kharma came down to the ring after the match, but did not enter and instead turned around walked backstage.
Kofi Kingston vs John Morrison went to a double count out after the two had fought up the ramp and neither could return to the ring. Triple H made the decision backstage following a commercial break to have the two have a rematch next week.
Yet another 6/20 promo aired, followed up by an interview with Kofi Kingston. John Morrison would attack him during it and claim that he will defeat Kingston next week and that he is nothing compared to him.
Chris Jericho hosted the Highlight Reel with Bryan Danielson, the two arguing over who is a better wrestler. Danielson offered a handshake, but proceeded to start a fight with Jericho only for Y2J to start to lock him into the Walls of Jericho. Danielson barely managed to escape and hurried up the ramp, avoiding his King of the Ring opponent.
June 9, 2012
John Cena opened the show up, giving trash talk to both Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio. Barrett and Del Rio would both end up interrupting, leading to Vickie Guerrero coming out and announcing the main event to be John Cena and Wade Barrett versus Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Ted DiBiase following the Zig Zag in a King of the Ring second round match. He and Kaitlyn celebrated afterward as he has advanced to the pay-per-view.
Unified Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated Sin Cara and United States Champion Jack Swagger following a double splash from the top rope on Cara. Swagger ditched his rival on a tag attempt while he was dazed.
A 6/20 promo aired, stating in a very creepy voice that the date was coming near. CM Punk was interviewed following it, being asked how it feels to be appearing on Smackdown. He says he has liked it to far, and 'Big' Johnny might want to look out.
CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes after the GTS in a King of the Ring Second Round Match. He celebrated after the match, once again giving a message to John Laurinaitis through the camera.
Shelton Benjamin defeated William Regal following the Pay Dirt. Derrick Bateman came into the ring to check on his mentor after, but Benjamin would lay him out too.
Zack Ryder was backstage talking with Aksana, trying to brag about his life. She told him to shut his mouth and to prove himself to her in their match. Wade Barrett would be interviewed as well about teaming with John Cena, to which he'd laugh about and say he doesn't care if he has to team up with John Cena - he's going to be the spotlight in the match... guaranteed.
Tyson Kidd and Natalya defeated Zack Ryder and Aksana following The Code Blue on Zack. While Kidd and Natalya celebrated together, Ryder seemed frustrated and Aksana "consulted" him with a kiss in the middle of the ring.
Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez defeated John Cena and WWE Champion Wade Barrett following a Wasteland from Barrett to Cena, allowing Del Rio to get the pin. Del Rio and Barrett would stare down from in and out of the ring afterward while Cena remained down.
June 13, 2012
Bryan Danielson opened the show up, stating that he has been putting up with the heckling of the WWE Universe, being told that Chris Jericho is better than him. He then bragged about being World Heavyweight Champion and not Jericho, and started listing off everything he has done since becoming champion. Chris Jericho would interrupt and list off what he has done. The two would come close to fighting, but Triple H would interrupt and remind them not to fight right now - but later when the main event happens with Chris Jericho and Randy Orton vs Bryan Danielson and The Miz.
Rey Mysterio defeated Sheamus via disqualification following Big Show attacking Mysterio. He laid Rey out and taunted to the booing crowd with his foot on his chest.
Unified Tag Team Champion Jules Uso defeated Evan Bourne after a big splash from the top rope, set up by Jimmy pushing Bourne off the top rope while preparing for Air Bourne.
CM Punk came down to the ring and began to talk about how this Sunday he faces Christian in King of the Ring, and if he manages to win he moves on to the finals and then if he wins that gets a World Title shot at Summerslam. John Laurinaitis would come out and un-sincerely congratulate Punk on his success in the tournament so far. He then introduced his personal pick to go all the way, and Christian would come out. He would trade trash talk with Punk and Ezekiel Jackson would attack Punk. Christian would pick up the scraps and hit the Killswitch, Laurinaitis standing at the side with a slight grin.
Kofi Kingston defeated John Morrison following Trouble in Paradise in a King of the Ring Second Round rematch. Dolph Ziggler, whom had been commentating, came into the ring after and hit the Zig Zag on Kofi.
April Lee defeated Maryse following a swinging DDT. Kharma would once again come down to the ring, only to stop in front of it and then head to the back with a sinister grin.
Yet another 6/20 promo aired and stated in a voice like it had last week, "it's only one week away". Afterward, The Miz was interviewed about why he wants to face Orton so badly, to which Miz replied that he should be advancing in the King of the Ring tournament, but thanks to Orton he isn't and now he is going to get his revenge and prove he is better.
Chris Jericho and Randy Orton vs World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson and The Miz went to a no contest after all hell broke loose. The show would conclude after the Codebreaker on Danielson and RKO on The Miz, Orton and Jericho standing tall.
June 16, 2012
Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez opened up the show. Del Rio bragged about getting the win over John Cena last week, to which Wade Barrett would come out and say the only reason he won is because of what he did to Cena. The third man in the triangle in Cena would then come out and say he just talked to Vickie Guerrero and tonight when Del Rio and Barrett face, he's going to be the special guest referee.
Sin Cara defeated Cody Rhodes following a top rope Moonsault Side Slam. Jack Swagger would come out afterward and try to attack Cara, only to be hurricanranaed out of the ring.
Shelton Benjamin defeated Derrick Bateman following the Paydirt. In a reverse from last week, William Regal would come into the ring only to be laid out with the Paydirt as well.
Kofi Kingston was interviewed and asked about the attack from Dolph Ziggler following his victory over John Morrison this past Monday. He stated he just wants to get his revenge tonight, and then get a little more on Sunday. Vickie Guerrero was then in her office talking to Alberto Del Rio, and told him not to worry about John Cena tonight - she'll keep him in line.
CM Punk and Kofi Kingston defeated Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Christian following the Trouble in Paradise to Christian. Ziggler would back up the ramp to avoid any confrontation to his one guaranteed opponent in Kingston, and his possible opponent in Punk for Sunday.
Unified Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso defeated Evan Bourne following a big splash - in a reverse role of what happened Monday with Jules pushing Bourne off the top rope.
After about a month, another 6/20 video aired and gave a message of "Monday night..." Afterward, John Cena was interviewed and asked if he is going to be a fair official tonight. Cena laughed and said he planned on being fair, but after the match is over it will be a lot different.
Zack Ryder defeated Tyson Kidd following a Leg Lariat. After the match, Kidd tried to attack him but he knocked him out of the ring. Natalya then would come into the ring but Aksana would clothesline her from behind. Ryder would then try to kiss Aksana in return for last week, only for her to pull away with a smile.
Alberto Del Rio vs Wade Barrett went to a no contest after Barrett and Del Rio began to attack Cena during the match. Cena would fight back, however, and clean house and stand tall with the WWE Championship high above his head to end the episode of Smackdown.

Good to see this updated again. Now we have five shows for the price of one. Let's begin.
SD1 - It's good to see Wade Barrett as the new WWE Champion. Only problem is now he has to deal with both Alberto Del Rio and John Cena. Shelton Benjamin over Charlie Haas was the obvious decision. Benjamin has much more going for him and it seems like there's not much left to do with Haas. It might be time to dump him. Christian advancing to the King of the Ring tournament was the right call. I'd like to see where you take him now that he's turned heel. Figured after that promo, Jack Swagger wouldn't advance far in the tournament. It also helps further the feud he has with Sin Cara. The Usos continuing their dominance is good. Same with Kharma demolishing both Beth Phoenix and April Lee. Right call having a no contest, thus allowing both Cena and Del Rio a shot at the WWE Championship.
RAW1 - I enjoy the CM Punk/John Lauranitis storyline. One is the ultimate rebel while the other is the ultimate corporate stooge. Lauranitis wants to fire Punk but can't without consequences. Punk victorious over Sheamus helps with Punk getting another one over Lauranitis. Poor Richie Steamboat getting annihilated by the Big Show. Having Rey Mysterio come out to make the save helps further the feud. Now we're into the next round of the King of the Ring tournament. Christian over Randy Orton is a good move, especially since we seem to be moving into an Orton/Miz feud now. April Lee is now the #1 contender for the Diva's Championship with a victory over Beth Phoenix. I wonder if she can find a way to vanquish the monster known as Kharma. Having Kofi Kingston and John Morrison go to a no contest was interesting. I don't recall seeing a feud between these two so it should awesome if that's what happens. I can't tell you how kickass a feud between Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho sounds. It should be entertaining no matter who comes out on top.
SD2 - John Cena coming out to address the WWE Championship situation was a good way to start the show, eventually having fellow challenger Alberto Del Rio and champion Wade Barrett join the fun. Now we have Cena and Barrett forced to work together to take on Del Rio and his lovable lackey, Ricardo Rodriguez. To be honest, either Ted DiBiase or Dolph Ziggler could've won. But I guess Ziggler has more going for him at the moment so whatever. Once again, the Usos continue their reign as WWE Tag Team Championship while escalating the feud with Sin Cara and Jack Swagger. Once again, CM Punk sticks it to John Lauranitis by advancing into the King of the Ring tournament. Now that he's dropped the dead weight in Charlie Haas, it looks like Shelton Benjamin is moving forward in his career, starting with William Regal. Good call on having him win and laying out both mentor and apprentice. Looks like we have a new couple in the WWE with Zack Ryder and Aksana. That sounds like an interesting pairing. It was obvious that Del Rio and Rodriguez would win the main event. There was no way Barrett and Cena could co-exist on a team. But it seems like there's no friendly feelings between Barrett and Del Rio either. It should entertaining.
RAW2 - Another good opening promo with Bryan Danielson coming out. A nice brawl between him and Chris Jericho gets the show rolling. It could've gone either or with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus. But having the Big Show come out to lay out Mysterio really sends a message to the masked marvel. I can't help but feel there should be some sort of stipulation here for this feud. Something like a "Loser Leaves WWE" stip or something. But that's just me. With Jules Uso defeating Evan Bourne, this might open up a new feud for the WWE Tag Team Champions if Bourne finds himself a partner. The CM Punk/John Lauranitis feud heats up some more, especially with Christian being chosen as Lauranitis' representative in the King of the Ring tournament. Lauranitis needed some payback and it came in the form of a beatdown from Christian and Ezekiel Jackson. Kofi Kingston moves on in the tournament, even though it could've gone either way. Having Dolph Ziggler come in and attack Kingston following the match was a good call. Kharma continues to play mindgames with April Lee as they prepare for their showdown. Not only is she physically intimidating but also psychologically intimidating. Another promo for 6/20, which can only mean that Kane is coming back to wreak havoc upon the WWE. Awesome main event bringing together two strong rivalries in Jericho/Danielson and Orton/Miz. Right call to have Jericho and Orton stand tall as it now gives the heels something to prove now.
SD3 - Another good opening promo with John Cena, Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio as it picks up where last week left off. Now we have Del Rio and Barrett forced to fight each other later on that night with Cena as the special guest referee. After defeating Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara gets a quick one over on Jack Swagger, thus angering the All-American American. After taking out the mentor in William Regal, Shelton Benjamin takes out the student in Derrick Bateman. I'm interested to see where Benjamin goes from here. The final four in the King of the Ring tournament faced each other in a tag team match with Kofi Kingston and CM Punk getting the win over Dolph Ziggler and Christian. As far as the winner goes, I'm going with either Kingston or Christian. Punk doesn't need it with his feud with John Lauranitis and Ziggler has already won it before. I wouldn't be surprised now if Evan Bourne does find a tag team partner to take on the Usos after losing to Jimmy Uso this time around. Looks like we have a battle of the power couples now with Tyson Kidd/Natalya and Zack Ryder/Aksana. I figured the opportunity to take out Cena was too great for Barrett and Del Rio. Only the tables were turned once Cena overpowered them and sent them running. It will interesting to see what goes down at the King of the Ring.
Great shows! All the feuds are progressing well heading into the King of the Ring. It should be an awesome show!

Looks like it's time to catch up on my all time favorite diary. Love seeing Wade Barrett as WWE Champion. May have come a bit soon here, but I'll take it. Definitely see him retaining over Cena and Del Rio at King of the Ring. Nice to see Punk's face turn and feud with Johnny. Miz vs. Orton doesn't sound like a bad match up. Anything to keep Miz as a main event level star. Poor April. Kharma gonna eat her sh*t up again. I assume Kane is behind the 6/20 promos. Danielson vs. Jericho can easily be a classic World Heavyweight Title match at King of the Ring. Hoping Bryan retains, and I do expect that result. Boo, Cody's not advancing. C'mon, Ryder. You can do better than Aksana. Surprised Del Rio and Ricardo got the win in the main event, but it made sense with the Wasteland to Cena. Danielson/Miz vs. Orton/Jericho sounds like a hot main event. Punk and Christian at King of the Ring, lovely. Orton and Jericho getting the victory hopefully means we'll see both Danielson and Miz take victories on Sunday. Cena as the referee in Barrett vs. Del Rio? #Shenanigans. Cody, you're not making me a happy fan here. Kingston and Ziggler as the other KOTR Semis match is interesting. It looks like Punk/Ziggler will be the Finals, with Punk taking the tournament. Not sure on that, but I'd also not be sure on Ziggler winning consecutive tournaments. If Punk receives the title shot at SummerSlam, what's in store for him at Money In The Bank in Chicago? I'm telling you, Ryder. She ain't worth the time. Expected No Contest finish for the main event to keep the momentum even. Still expecting Wade to retain. Good set of shows, and looking forward to King of the Ring.

Live from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on June 19, 2011 A video package begins, showing highlights of past crownings of the King of the Ring. Voice clips from each crowning are heard over the footage and we finish off with "All hail King Ziggler!" from the most recent winner, Dolph. We then head to footage of this past Thursday on Smackdown where a tag team match took place between the team of Dolph Ziggler and Christian against their respective opponents in tonight's King of the Ring semi-finals in Kofi Kingston and CM Punk with the latter being victorious and the two pairs staring down the rest as it is unsure who will be facing in the finals. We then head to the world title matches, with Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho having their recent bickering back and forth about who is better and the constant game of one-up. Then on the Smackdown side for the WWE Championship, Wade Barrett cashed in his Money in the Bank and tried to be smart to avoid having to defend his belt at this pay-per-view, but instead he now has to face both John Cena and Alberto Del Rio. Tonight, live in Washington D.C., a king will be crowned and be awarded with either a WWE or World Heavyweight championship match at Summerslam. So the question to ask is: Who will be there as champion and challenger? A few sponsors air for tonight's show before we head live into the Verizon Center with the theme song, "The Collapse" by Adelita's Way" in the background as the pyrotechnic display goes off the stage! The commentary crew of Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Michael Cole - whom gives a warm welcome to this spectacular event in which the next King of the Ring will be crowned. Jerry Lawler then says he is a king himself, but he's fine sharing the kingdom here in the WWE! He gives a laugh and also states he has seen some great King of the Ring tournaments in his day, and this has been one of the better ones. Jim Ross finishes off the topic by saying that tonight we may see a king re-crowned with Dolph Ziggler, but three new hopefuls to be the king in CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, and Christian stand before him. They then discuss the two big world title matches before passing it on to the Spanish commentary crew, who give their bit as we prepare for the opening match. King of the Ring Tournament Semi-Finals Match Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler with Kaitlyn vs Kofi Kingston The bell rings and the two circle the ring together, staring each other down. They quickly come to the middle and lock up, Ziggler pushing Kingston up into the corner and getting the upper hand. He hits a series of knees and strikes before the official gets him to move. Kingston steps out and ducks a shot, sending a series of kicks to the legs and then to the mid section. He then leap frogs over Dolph and springboards off the ropes, delivering a crossbody! He hooks up both legs on the way down but Ziggler rolls through for a pin attempt of his own, only getting a two count. They both hop up and go for a dropkick, both flopping to the mat from it. Both men stagger up and Ziggler steps up to Kofi, getting met with a shot to the jaw. Kingston tees off with strike after strike and explodes with a clothesline. He lets Dolph get back up and delivers another one! And then a third! He then begins to get fired up and attempts the Trouble in Paradise, only for Ziggler to catch a hold of his ankle and trip him to the mat, quickly applying a one legged Boston crab! He wrenches away at the leg and Kingston yells out in pain. He refuses to let go as Kofi scrambles his hands about, trying to get free. He manages to get his elbows under him and starts to drag himself to the ropes. As soon as he gets a hold of the bottom rope, however, Ziggler stands up and forces him off. He then goes back to the crab and wrenches away some more, yelling out for his opponent to tap. Kingston refuses though, and manages to make his way back over to the ropes and takes a hold of the bottom rope with both hands. The referee starts to count but Dolph doesn't let go until a count of four. He corners the official and begins to yell at him that Kingston tapped, to which the referee assures him he did not. He then goes back and drags Kofi up by the hair, but is met with a quick uppercut. Kingston fires off once again and dropkicks Ziggler in between the ropes. He gets up on the apron and Kofi delivers the Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere! Ziggler stands still dazed for a moment before dropping off to the floor on the outside! Kaitlyn hurries over to check down on her boyfriend, Kingston then clutches hold of the top rope and motions for Kaitlyn to move out of the way. She refuses to though and the official steps in front of Kofi and makes him back up. He leans through the ropes telling Kaitlyn to move and he continues his count out of Dolph. Kingston then looks out to the crowd and motions over the referee. Ziggler begins to stir on the outside and the Jamaican Sensation flies off the ropes and comes storming up behind the referee, jumping over him and diving onto Dolph! The crowd cheers the spot as he immediately pops up to his feet and gives his signature thunder clap. He drags the limp Intercontinental Champion to his feet and pushes him into the ring. He then rises onto the apron and heads up to the top turnbuckle to the crowds joy. He lets Dolph get up and launches off for a clothesline but Ziggler drops and rolls out of the way! He rises up to his feet and charges up behind Kingston before he can adjust back on his feet and nails the Zig Zag right in the middle of the ring! He hooks up both legs and pumps his free fist in the air, but is shocked as Kingston just barely kicks out! The crowd cheers Kofi on and Ziggler slams both his hands into the mat over and over again. He then goes and corners the official once again, pointing in his face and demanding he count faster. Kingston crawls up behind him during this and leans under his legs and clutches hold of them, attempting to bring him down. Dolph quickly sits down onto him and hooks up the left leg and uses the top rope with his right hand just above the referee, the crowd booing wildly as he gets the three count! Winner of the match via pinfall, Dolph Ziggler (11:31) ***3/4 Ziggler hops out of the ring quickly, pumping both his fists in the air. Kaitlyn brings him his Intercontinental Championship and he throws it over his shoulder and continues to celebrate to the boos of the crowd. He heads up the ramp with his girlfriend as Kingston stays on both knees, glaring at him as he takes a seat on the King of the Ring throne atop the stage. He looks around the arena with a smug smirk and throws his arms out and says, "It won't be long!" We head backstage to see Triple H with his back turned, talking on the phone. John Laurinaitis walks into the office and clears his throat in an attempt to get his co-General Manager's attention. There is no response though so he tries again. "I'll call you back." Hunter says before he hangs up and turns to John, "What the hell is wrong with you? I was in the middle of an important call." Laurinaitis stuffs his hands into his jacket pocket and looks up to Hunter, "I just want to let you know that tonight I really do hope a Raw superstar wins King of the Ring." Hunter looks stares at him, "You see - Dolph Ziggler just got a win and that's just one step closer to a Raw guy winning! Now I know I said my personal pick was Christian, and yeah he is from Smackdown but... I was to in the moment. So now all that has to happen is Dolph beats Christian in the finals!" He tries to say more but Hunter puts his hand up, "You mean Christian or Punk." Laurinaitis clears his throat and tries to say something, but Triple H once again stops him, "Listen Johnny. I've been very tempted to become unprofessional with you and actually beat the living hell out of you because you have bugged me so much. But I have stayed professional up to this point. But so help me God, if you dare get involved in the CM Punk-Christian match I will have no problem dragging you by your tie right to that ring and smashing your face right into the mat in front of everyone." Laurinaitis gulps as Hunter takes his phone back out and re-dials whoever he was talking to before, and steps out of the room staring down his Co-GM. King of the Ring Tournament Semi-Finals Match Christian with Ezekiel Jackson vs CM Punk The bell rings and Punk immediately points to the referee, and then to Zeke. The official begins to talk with Punk, who tells him that he doesn't want him out here. The referee says that he can't do anything unless he interferes. Punk then whispers something into his ear and the official goes over to Jackson and tosses him! The crowd roars and Christian begins to lose it. Punk props himself into the corner and laughs a bit as Christian continues to bark at the referee. He leans between the ropes and begins to order Zeke not to go. Punk then rushes up behind him and goes for a roll up, Christian quickly pushing him off. Punk flings himself off the ropes and comes back with a big clothesline. He hops onto his feet and allows Christian to get back up, shoving him into the corner and delivering chop after chop right to the chest! He flings him off to the other corner and charges at him with his signature knee to the chin! He goes for the bulldog but Christian pushes him off into the ropes and delivers a dropkick on the return! He mounts on Punk and fires off with a series of strikes, the referee having to tell him to get off. He then drags Punk up and sets him on the middle rope, standing on his back and pulling on the ropes to a count of four. Christian then steps out of the ring and hangs Punk up on the rope before going back into the ring and for a pinfall, only to get a count of two. He gets back onto his feet and takes a hold of Punk's boot, only for Punk to struggle away and actually lose his boot! Christian looks at it confused and rushes up to Punk as he gets up, attempting to use it only for Punk to duck under it. Christian turns to a kick to the stomach with the one boot and then a kick to the head with the bare foot! Punk then lets him stumble into the ropes and goes for the GTS on the return, only for Christian to slide off and stumble to the referee, causing him to duck away in the corner. He then turns and smacks Punk right in the face with the bottom of the boot! He tosses it under the corner away and hooks up both legs, the official coming back and only getting a two count! He gets onto his feet pissed off and storms around a bit. He sits back in the corner and looks at Punk. He steps up to him as he crawls to the opposing corner and leans down to him. Punk, however, manages to toss his boot up into Christian's face! The referee doesn't see it, however, as Christian was towering right over him. Punk staggers back onto his feet and ducks a shot, letting Christian slam his back into the corner. He then jumps up and hits the knee, hopping forward and hitting the bulldog! He rises onto his feet and hobbles a bit with his one boot. He lets Christian get up and pulls him onto his shoulders, nailing the Go To Sleep! The crowd roars as he hooks the far leg and gets the three count. Winner of the match via pinfall, CM Punk (8:50) *** Punk rises onto his feet and gets his arm raised up. He hobbles over to the corner and puts his boot back on. He pulls himself onto the second turnbuckle and fires the crowd up a bit. Christian struggles up in the other corner and Punk then charges up to Christian as he turns around and smashes his knee right into the jaw! He holds there a bit and yells out to the crowd, "The first time wasn't good enough!" He then drops back down and charges to the middle of the ring with the bulldog! A break out of "CM Punk" chants form as he points around the arena and steps out of the ring. He heads up the ramp and looks at the throne, giving a sly grin and a nod before he goes to the back. We then cut to a video package with a house burning. It flashes glimpses of a graveyard over and over again. Each time it comes back to the house, it is getting more engulfed by flames. By the end of it all, it is nothing but ashes. The video slows down and zooms in on the burnt down house. A voice over gives a whisper, each word extended, "Tomorrow is drawing near..." It finally fades to a black screen and the date of 6/20/11 forms in flames. Unified Diva's Championship April Lee vs Kharma© The bell tolls and April immediately looks terrified. Kharma steps out to the middle of the ring with a sick grin across her face. She charges at April in the corner, but she moves away and goes to the other corner. Kharma goes after her again and she moves once more. They continue this routine until April slips out of the ring and hesitates. Kharma leans over the top rope like a hungry dog as April continues to look bewildered. She slowly moves around the ring and slides in, quickly sliding out though as Kharma just barely misses grabbing a hold of her. She then goes on the other side and does the same thing. Finally, she goes in and Kharma catches a hold of her hair. April screams out as she is dragged to her feet and tossed into the corner. She is crushed with a hip check and then another one. Kharma then lifts her up off the mat in a military press and drops her with no emotion whatsoever. She walks around the already lifeless body of April and slowly drags her back up, delivering a giant chokebomb right in the middle of the ring and getting the pinfall. Winner of the match via pinfall and still Unified Diva's Champion, Kharma (3:13) *1/2 The crowd boos as Kharma slowly rises back to her feet and snatches her belt away from the referee. She slowly walks to the ropes but stops herself, staring down at the unmoving body of April. She drops the belt and moves back over, the official trying to stop her only to get shoved out of the way. She drags April onto her feet and lifts her up onto her shoulders. Kharma looks out to the crowd and gives out a yell as she charges forward and drops April right down under her whole body with a slam! The crowd boos as Kharma slides onto both knees and licks her lips with a smile. She takes her title and gets out of the ring, headed up to the ramp and laughing demonically as the referee checks down on April, the commentary crew worried about her condition due to this brutality. We cut to a video package of Big Show making his return to the WWE, and at Extreme Rules we have a triple threat match between Show, Rey Mysterio, and Bryan Danielson for the World Heavyweight Championship. Danielson retains, and Show delivers a Knockout Punch to Mysterio afterward. In the weeks following, Show continues to beat the hell out of Mysterio, leaving him to be taken out on a stretcher on different occasions. Co-General Manager Triple H announces that at Extreme Rules - it will be Rey Mysterio vs Big Show in a stretcher match! The video package concludes with the slowed footage of Rey on a stetcher. Stretcher Match Rey Mysterio vs Big Show The bell rings and Mysterio scurries around the ring a bit, letting Show come to him only to move away quickly. He then charges up to Show and hits a set of kicks to the legs. He flies off the ropes and comes back to a big boot. Some heat for Show as he taunts to the crowd. He drags Rey up and gets a few shots to the stomach, and he isn't phased much as he quickly headbutts the much smaller man. He lets Rey get up at the ropes and begins to punch him in the stomach repeatedly. He whips Rey off to the other corner and then measures up. He charges at him with his shoulder out but Rey moves out of the way and springboards off the nearby ropes, catching a hold of the neck. He tries to bring Show down for a DDT, but he doesn't have the strength so Show charges to the corner and smashes Rey back first into it. Mysterio yells out in pain as Show walks around a bit before returning to the man of mystery. He drags him back onto his feet and throws him through the ropes and into the announce table. He steps out of the ring and goes over to Rey, letting him get up before pummeling him with strikes to the stomach again. He then takes a hold of the arm and tosses Rey right into the steel steps! Jerry Lawler says on commentary, "Come on, Show, leave him alone!" Which triggers Show to go over to Jerry and tower over him. He breaths heavily a bit and points down, "Mind your own business, Jerry." He then turns back around to see Mysterio not at the steps as he was before. He looks from side to side and then turns around, the crowd cheering as Rey comes flying of the announce table with a steel chair - which he smacks into the face of Show! He sends the chair sideways down at him in the knees a couple of times and smacks him in the back to bring him down completely. He tosses the chair away and leans back to the barricade to catch his breath and re-adjust himself. Show stirs back and up and Rey charges at the steel steps, launching himself off only to be caught in the arms of Show! He is obviously angry and he charges to the steel post nearby and smashes Rey's back into it! The crowd continues to fill up with boos as Show does it again, and a third time, and then a fourth and fifth! He doesn't drop him as he walks around to the stretcher, flopping Rey down on it. He takes a hold of the top of it and begins to pull him up the ramp. Mysterio, however, slowly rolls off half way up the ramp. Show tosses the stretcher down onto it's side out of frustration. He takes Rey up by the neck and lifts him up over his head, yelling out to the crowd before dropping him down right on the stage! Boos ring out and Show barks, "I don't care what you think!" He pulls the stretcher back up and pulls Rey up slowly and back onto it. He begins to pull up to the line but stops and laughs a bit. He moves around the stretcher and proceeds to strap Rey in. He pulls him up off the stretcher and lifts him up over his shoulder! He walks down the ramp and throws him down on the steel steps! Rey flops over onto his stomach, moaning in pain as he is helpless. He turns the stretcher over and begins to drag it up the ramp once again. He pulls it up to face him forward and pulls back his fist, coming forward with a huge Knockout Punch! The stretcher falls over as Rey's head droops to the side as he is out cold. He raises his fist up to the booing Washington, D.C. crowd and he proceeds to put the stretcher back onto it's trolly. He then pushes it across the line slowly. Winner of the match, Big Show (14:05) ***1/4 The crowd boos as Show points his fingers to the sky and smiles at the reaction. He then demands a microphone and is soon given one, "You can boo me all you want... because I don't care! I really don't!" He walks over to the stretcher with Rey on it and looks out to the crowd, "Rey Mysterio... isn't anything but an easy outlet to give out my anger..." He grabs a hold of the stretcher, the medics coming out trying to pull him away. Show ignores them and continues on, "And I know you all love Rey Mysterio... but I hate him... I hate how much you people love him... when I'm the one who should be loved!" He then throws the microphone down and takes the stretcher by both hands and charges to the edge of the stage, throwing the stretcher and Rey right down off of it! The crowd boos wildly as Show stands still with anger, the medics quickly getting themselves down from the stage to check on Rey. Show stares down, not moving one bit. We fade to a video package for Vengeance. It is highlighted with the theme song of "Up From the Ashes" by Burn Halo in the background. The voice over gives a basic message while highlights of superstars getting revenge on each other is shown: "When something happens from one to another, they either decide to do nothing... or seek vengeance." The pay-per-view will take place on July 17 - live from Chicago, Illinois. We then head to a replay of what happened just moments ago with Big Show throwing Rey Mysterio off the stage while on a stretcher. The commentary crew states that Rey's current condition is not known, and that as soon as they find things out they will inform us all. We then cut to see Big Show walking backstage with nobody saying a word as he passes by. Triple H, however, begins to follow him, calling out his name, "Show! Show!" He charges up to him and grabs a hold of his shoulder as he prepares to push open a door. Show turns to him with no real expression. "What the hell is the matter with you? Huh? You think you can get away with throwing my superstars around like that and possibly ending their careers? Is that what you think Show?" They stare each other down and Show breaths in, "What are you gonna do, Hunter? Fire me?" The crowd cheers on in the background as the two continue to stare down. Triple H looks down, and then back up at Show, "Not yet. But you show up tomorrow night." He walks off. We head into the arena where United States Champion Jack Swagger is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone. He smiles to the crowd and brings the microphone up, "Ladies and gentlemen... WWE.com announced on Friday afternoon that I would be defending my United States Championship against Sin Cara once again." He shakes his head, "That won't be happening however as I sustained a very severe injury earlier today!" He nods out to the crowd, who boos him on, "I went to a Washington Nationals game and witnessed one of the worst games of my life as they lost to the Baltimore Orioles seven to four!" The crowd gives him some more heat for the local cheap shot, "And now, my mind and eyes are so hurt that I am incapable of competing!" He chuckles it up but the lights suddenly dim down and Sin Cara proceeds to come out to the ramp. He points down to the ring and rushes to it, hopping up over the ropes and landing right in front of Swagger. They begin to trade shots back and forth but Jack ducks under a shot and slips out of the ring quickly. The crowd boos as the United States Champion backs up the ramp, wagging his finger at Cara. We then head backstage to see Todd Grisham. He introduces his guest at this time to be Randy Orton. He asks him about getting the opportunity at revenge against The Miz for costing him King of the Ring. Orton tilts his head around a bit before turning back to Todd, "The Miz is nothing but a punk, Todd. A self absorbed, child, really. I used to be like The Miz and then I realized being so high on yourself doesn't get you that far. Now all I care about is keeping people out of my way from getting the best in this business. That being the world title. The Miz? He's in my way. After tonight... I don't think he will be in anyone's way for a long time." He walks away. Randy Orton vs The Miz The bell rings and the two stare each other down from their corners before stepping out. They come to the middle and lock up, Miz quickly pulling away and leaning back into the corner. Orton stares him down and they walk around a bit again, coming to the center and the same routine. They come back to the middle and Orton quickly delivers a knee to the stomach so Miz can't pull away again. He takes him by the neck and charges to the corner, throwing him face first down into the turnbuckle. He does it a couple more times and begins to stomp away over and over again. He pulls away as the crowd cheers him on. Miz struggles back up and Orton returns, stomping into him once again. He then whips Miz across the ring to the other corner and charges for a clothesline, only for Miz to slip between the top and middle rope. He then hangs Orton across the top rope and lets him fly back. Miz then charges back into the ring and delivers a vicious clothesline! He hooks up both legs and gets only a two count. He gets back up with Orton and hits a few shots to the head. He tries to whip him but Orton reverses it and kicks him in the stomach. He hits a couple of knees to the chest and then a huge uppercut. He then jumps high into the air and delivers a huge dropkick that drops Miz through the ropes. Orton then slithers to the outside and goes up to 'The Awesome One' as he leans up on the barricade. Orton hits a few hard punches right down into the head and hypes the crowd up a bit. Miz quickly slides his leg behind Orton's and swings his face down into the barricade! He then tosses Orton face first into the steel post and rolls him into the ring. He hooks up both legs but only gets a two count. He stirs back up and lets The Viper rise, hitting a couple of shots. He comes off the ropes but Orton catches him with a huge body slam. He then slithers back on his fists and knees, pounding down on the mat. The crowd knows whats coming, and Orton is ready. Miz stirs onto his feet and Randy jumps up for the RKO - only for Miz to shove him away. Orton returns and Miz ducks a shot, delivering the Skull Crushing Finale right in the middle of the ring! Both men stay laid out momentarily, Miz slowly rolling Orton over and covering him. The official counts but Orton just barely manages to throw his arm up! Miz slowly gets onto his feet again and stumbles off to the corner. He steps out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from under it. He returns into the ring but the referee pulls it away from him as he goes to use it on Orton! Miz begins to argue and barks orders at the referee to mind his own business. He then backs up slowly and turns around right into the RKO from Orton! He drops to the mat and hooks up both legs and gets the pinfall victory! Winner of the match via pinfall, Randy Orton (8:22) *** Orton rises onto his feet and walks around Miz's body as his arm is raised. He looks out to the crowd and slowly moves over to the turnbuckle, taking himself onto the second one. He peers out to the crowd a bit before throwing his arms out. He gets a big pop as Miz rolls around on the mat a bit, still dazed from the RKO he just took. Orton steps out of the ring and looks around a bit. He turns back to the ring and watches Miz as he crawls on all fours, still dazed. A video package proceeds to air with John Cena defeating Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules. We cut backstage to see Matt Striker, and he introduces his guest at this time to be one of the participants in the finals of King of the Ring: CM Punk. The crowd cheers him on in the background. Striker says with all the controversy Punk has had with Co-General Manager of Raw John Laurinaitis as of late, how would it feel to get away from the drama and to become not only King of the Ring, but get a title shot at Summerslam. Punk smiles, "I haven't been a World Champion in over a year, Matt. So to get this close makes me feel really good. As for the drama with 'Big Johnny', it doesn't really phase me. John Laurinaitis is going to be a piece of crap no matter what, but once I win King of the Ring by defeating Dolph Ziggler... well, you know, he's just going to have to deal with me headlining Summerslam." He walks away with a grin as we head off to Todd Grisham, who introduces his guest to be the other King of the Ring finals participant: Dolph Ziggler. He says that Dolph won this King of the Ring tournament last November, but he came up short at the Royal Rumble against John Cena. He asks how Ziggler would feel winning King of the Ring for the second time and getting another opportunity at becoming a World Champion. Ziggler stares at him in disgust, "Came up short, Todd? I should of won the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. I should of went into WrestleMania this year as the World Heavyweight Champion and defended it. Get it straight first of all that I did not come up short! I did not! As for me winning King of the Ring for the second time in a row? Which only Bret Hart has ever managed to do?" He laughs and puts his arm around Kaitlyn, "I'm better than Bret Hart ever was, ever has been, or ever will be." He walks off with the crowd booing him. King of the Ring Tournament Finals Match Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler with Kaitlyn vs CM Punk The bell rings and the two step out to the middle of the ring, Punk offering a handshake. He props himself up onto the second turnbuckle and flies off, hitting a neckbreaker! He hooks up one leg and only gets a two count. He hooks both legs up this time and once again only gets a two count. Ziggler gets back onto his feet and pulls Punk up again, taunting a bit. He lifts him up for a scoop slam but Punk slips free and lets Dolph turn around to a huge kick to the side of the head that drops him between the ropes! Punk then steps out to the apron and measures him up, rushing up and delivering a huge leg drop that flops Dolph back to the middle of the ring. Punk stands up tall on the apron and stares down his opponent, who staggers up. Punk then launches himself off the top rope and hits a huge clothesline! The crowd cheers him on as he gets to his feet and spreads his arms out in taunt. He begins to get fired up and lets Ziggler up, to which he delivers another set of kicks and then a snap suplex. He yanks him back up and delivers another one, and to top off what seems to be a tribute to Eddie Guerrero, he completes a third three amigos-esque suplex combination. He gets onto his feet and steps around the ring a bit before yanking Ziggler up by his hair, getting a thumb right into the eye! He staggers a bit from it and Dolph goes for the Zig Zag, only for Punk to hold onto the rope. Dolph holds onto his neck from the impact to the mat and rolls around a bit. Punk re-adjusts himself and Ziggler gets up in the corner, Punk charging and hitting a huge knee! He comes out with the bulldog right into the middle of the ring and rises back onto his feet. He spreads his arms out and the crowd begins a 'CM Punk' chant. He kneels a bit and lets Dolph rise, pulling him onto his shoulders once he does. He stares out to the crowd and delivers a huge Go to Sleep! He stands over the body of Ziggler for a second and gives a grin out to the crowd. He slowly gets down and hooks up both legs, to which Ziggler kicks out literally just before the referee's hand hits the mat! The crowd, Punk, and the commentary trio cannot believe it! He gets onto both knees and wipes his hand through his hair, looking up to the referee in disbelief. He slowly stirs up and moves up to Ziggler in the corner, whom elbows him quickly in the stomach. He turns back up and nails a huge knee to the face. Punk stumbles off leaning down and Ziggler rushes up, jumping in the air and hitting a huge leg drop bulldog! He rolls Punk over quickly and hooks both legs, Punk now just barely kicking out! Ziggler rolls himself off and slams his hands into the mat over and over. He slowly stirs and forces Punk up, quickly measuring him up and delivering a huge dropkick that sends him out to the apron. Punk gets onto both feet and Ziggler comes charging at him, hitting a shoulder into the stomach and dropping Punk face first into the apron. He stumbles back into the barricade and Dolph steps out to the apron. He jumps off quickly and goes for a double hammer to the head, only for Punk to move away and let his opponent crash right into the barricade. Punk drops onto his knees at the ring apron and uses it to help himself back up. Ziggler goes up behind him and takes a hold of his legs as he is crawling back in, rushing off to the steel post and crashing them hard into it! The crowd gives a loud boo as Ziggler waves them off, getting back into the ring. Punk crawls to the middle and Dolph leans against the ropes, waiting for him to get up. Punk slowly but surely does and staggers a bit, Ziggler rushing right up behind him and executing on the Zig Zag! Tons of heat from the crowd as he hooks the leg! The one, the two, the NOT three! The crowd explodes with gasps and cheers. Ziggler crawls himself off to the ropes and clasps a hold on the middle rope, Kaitlyn coming over to him and encouraging him. Punk gets up on the other side and Dolph comes up behind him, only to be mule kicked right in the gut! Punk slowly turns around and hits a few forearms to the head, Ziggler bouncing off the ropes and Punk yanking him up onto his shoulders but Dolph sliding free. Punk then jumps into the air and hits a huge kick to the jaw! Both men drop to the mat and don't move. The referee begins a count, and reaches four before Punk begins to crawl. He brings himself up to the corner and gets onto his feet at the count of eight. He slowly brings himself out to the apron and ascends to the top turnbuckle. He raises his hands up to the crowd, who still cheer him on. He stands up straight and dives off as Ziggler rises, bringing him down with a huge crossbody! He goes for the pin as he hooks both legs but Dolph pushes him off! The crowd is absolutely loving it as both men stagger up on opposite sides of the ring. Punk comes charging at Ziggler with a strike, but the Intercontinental Champion ducks away from it and nails a huge superkick that flops Punk back into the corner! Dolph gets up from his hands and knees and comes rushing up with a shoulder to the stomach, only for Punk to move and let him crash right into the steel post! He takes a hold of both legs and pulls him out, slamming his face right down to the mat. Punk rolls onto both knees and slowly gets back up, the crowd starting to boo as John Laurinaitis walks out from the back! He comes down to the bottom of the ramp and Punk walks over to the ropes, pointing at him to go to the back. "You're not screwing me over, Johnny! Not today!" Laurinaitis continues to slowly step forward and Punk looks up at the titantron, noticing Ziggler behind him. He turns around and ducks a strike, letting Dolph turn around and kicking him in the stomach. He lifts him up onto both shoulders but Laurinaitis has gotten up onto the apron and he pulls Dolph down by the legs! Punk shoves Ziggler off to the side and steps up to Johnny, grabbing him by the collar! He flips him into the ring and the crowd cheers wildly! Johnny gets onto both knees and begs Punk not to hurt him, and as he does so Ziggler jumps up from behind and delivers a huge Zig Zag! The crowd roars with boos as Dolph hooks both legs up and gets the three count to win King of the Ring once again! Winner of the match via pinfall and 2011 King of the Ring, Dolph Ziggler (21:04) ****1/4 The crowd boos as Ziggler rises onto his feet, pumping both fists into the air repeatedly. Kaitlyn soon joins him in the ring and hugs him tightly as he continues his celebration. John Laurinaitis gives a slight grin. He rises onto his feet and walks over to the ropes, kneeling them down for Dolph and Kaitlyn. He assists his girlfriend out of the ring and heads up the ramp with her in his arm, Laurinaitis applauding as he stays in the ring. Ziggler slowly makes his way up to the ramp, raising his fists up once again to the booing crowd. He makes his way over to the throne, the robe, the crown and the sceptre. He spreads his arms out, Kaitlyn placing his Intercontinental Championship around his waist first. She then puts on the robe and hands him his sceptre. He takes a seat on the throne and Kaitlyn slowly places the crown upon his head, Laurinaitis holding a microphone in the ring, "All hail! King Ziggler! All hail! King Ziggler! All hail! King Ziggler!" The crowd boos on as Laurinaitis continues his "All hail! King Ziggler!" over the downed body of CM Punk. The cameras keep a shot on Ziggler sitting on his throne with a smile with the Co-General Manager of Raw praising him in the background and the crowd booing the scene as the King of the Ring pay-per-view fades to a close.

The King of the Ring has finally arrived. Let's get into it.
KOTR - Well, it seems my predictions were wrong as both Kofi Kingston and Christian were knocked out by Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk Not that I don't think the Ziggler/Punk finals would be awesome, but it seemed like Kingston and Christian needed it more. Anyway, I kinda figured Kharma would once again show her dominance in defeating April Lee. Now we're left to wonder who will be the one to step up and slay the dragon, for lack of a better phrase. The Big Show pretty much did the same thing by decimating Rey Mysterio. It seemed like the right call to do that and establish the Big Show as a monster heel. I'm really enjoying the Jack Swagger/Sin Cara feud going on. Even though they didn't have a much tonight, the confrontation they had made it all the more sweeter. It could've gone either way with the Randy Orton/Miz match. But with Orton victorious, we'll have to see if the Miz responds in some way. Figured both Wade Barrett and Bryan Danielson would retain their respective championships. It certainly makes their reigns more meaningful. Finally, we have Dolph Ziggler winning his second King of the Ring title. You just knew that John Lauranitis was going to come around and screw Punk out of a victory. The future looks bright for Ziggler.
Even though it was somewhat predictable, it was still a good show. Keep up the awesome work.

Alright, the card looks very promising for this, let's see how the King of the Ring unfolds. Maybe would've rather had Punk/Christian open, but Ziggler and Kofi is a more than acceptable starter. Ziggler getting the win was expected, as was Punk' victory over Christian. I really can't see Punk as King of the Ring at this point in his career, but I also can't see Ziggler repeating. It'll be interesting to see which direction you go in. Poor April. It's obvious that she won't be the one to finally dethrone Kharma, and I look forward to seeing who it is that can do so. Hahaha, look at Mysterio. Loser, fell off the stage. Point and laugh at his misery. Curious as to where you take Show's character after this. Swagger seems tolerable here, not bad. The segment with Sin Cara was fairly entertaining, further building up their eventual United States Championship match that I see Cara coming out on top of. As much as I would've liked to have seen Miz go over, I'll take an Orton victory just fine. I don't really see much else for either to do, so I imagine this feud will continue. Expected successful WWE Championship defense for Wade Barrett. I'm hoping this shoves Cena and Del Rio out of the picture for a bit and Wade sees a new challenger. Glad Danielson retain, even with the DQ victory. Looks like we could be seeing a gimmick of sorts at Vengeance between him and Jericho. I thought having the Finals close the show was a great touch that really outlined the importance of the tournament. Wow, Ziggler repeats King of the Ring. Nice to see Laurinaitis get involved in the finish, love what you're doing with him and Punk. Still, Ziggler winning makes things very interesting. I have no idea who he'll be facing at SummerSlam. I would've expected both Barrett and Bryan to walk into there still as champions, but heel vs. heel isn't happening. Damn, I'm wildly intrigued.

It's been a very long time since I have been here but ever since reading KOTR, your pay per view in my book, one of the best you have done in your calendar year so far
Dolph beating Kofi in the semi-final, what a great back and forth match-up which could have gone either way to be honest but at the same time Dolph deserved to win that match and now he is one step closer to becoming King of the Ring
Loving this heel turn of Christian's, and I love how Ezekiel Jackson is his new "Problem Solver" much like how Tomko was back in the day but still I hate how he lost to CM Punk but at the same time I love that Punk beat him, because now it proves Punk is the Best In The World
Please have Punk change his theme song to Cult of Personality
6/20/11 has got to be Kane, because we haven't seen Kane since WrestleMania 27 when he got his throat crushed by Christian, so hopefully when he comes back, he comes back as Masked Kane and he makes an immediate impact, have him be like the Attitude Era 1997-1998 Kane who doesn't talk at all and just comes out and attacks random superstars for no reason at all
Kharma decimating AJ to retain her WWE Divas Championship, is there anyone who can beat Kharma? No one can as far as I'm concerned, AJ put up a valiant effort but to no avail, and I think the only divas who could actually stand a chance against Kharma are Beth Phoenix and or Natalya
Show Knockout, Knockout, Knockout, I love Big Show, I love this heel turn of Big Show's, just goes to show you just how dominant Show can be, Rey never had a chance and I hope you keep Big Show's character like this for a while, have him be the angry dominant giant and just go on a tear as a monster heel, and I think this could be a way to write Mysterio off TV by having Show put Rey on the shelf for a while, and Rey can return like at SummerSlam 2011 or at Survivor Series 2011
I wonder just what punishment Big Show is going to receive, but whatever HHH the COO has planned, Big Show will just find some way out of it dominating his way through it, and Big Show should just dominate by doing something to the COO by giving Triple H the WMD or giving him a Chokeslam off the stage, giving Big Johnny control of RAW only until HHH comes back
My man Orton's backstage interview on Miz was awesome, I hope he beats Miz
Orton beats The Miz, now he can set his sights on Bryan Danielson and the World Heavyweight Championship, and Orton vs Danielson for the next PPV will be a classic should you have it happen
Wade Barrett retaining his WWE Championship in a Triple-Threat against Cena and Del Rio, no one will be able to beat Barrett for a long time, I see Barrett having a long reign until at least SummerSlam or until Night of Champions and then losing the title
Bryan Danielson retaining his World Heavyweight Championship all be it by DQ, just proves to me that Jericho had him beat but that he had to get himself intentionally disqualified just to keep his title, just goes to show you that there is going to be a re-match between these 2 at the next pay per view, and if that is the case, I somehow see Bryan beating Jericho
Punk and Ziggler's separate interviews hypes up the KOTR final which is awesome
Ziggler wins KOTR for the 2nd year in a row, just goes to show you that Ziggler is prime, he's ready, and not only is he still Intercontinental Champion, he is also King of the Ring and he is headlining SummerSlam in the main event which means whoever the World Heavyweight Champion is, Ziggler is facing whoever it may be

| Monday Night Raw – First Mariner Arena – Baltimore, Maryland – June 20, 2011 |
Footage airs from King of the Ring last night with Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk facing off in the main event. They go back and forth in fantastic action, but it all goes downhill as John Laurinaitis comes down to the ring. Punk brings him into the ring, but it ends up costing him as he gets too distracted with the Co-General Manager, allowing Dolph to hit the Zig Zag and get the pinfall. He goes up to the throne and gets comfortable as Laurinaitis shouts from the ring while standing over Punk, "All hail King Ziggler!" The Intro Video proceeds to air and we head into the First Mariner Arena, the pyros hitting off the stage. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw, one night removed from King of the Ring! A graphic appears, advertizing later tonight we will see Triple H call Big Show down to the ring. Another graphic follows up with tonight's main event of Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Kofi Kingston against Bryan Danielson, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler!
The arena is scanned over, and the crowd roars as CM Punk brings himself out to the ramp. He is obviously unhappy as he charges down to the ring, microphone on hand. He steps into the middle of the squared circle and looks around as his music fades out. He pats the microphone down in his hand and begins to look around, "Last night at King of the Ring I defeated Christian in the Semi-Finals. Then I went on to the Finals at the end of the night to face Dolph Ziggler..." The crowd boos his name wildly, "And what happened? Mr. Senile-Old-Man-Who-Couldn't-Accomplish-Anything-Myself-So-I-Am-Going to-Ruin-It-For-Anybody-I-Don't-Like got involved. Yes, yes, Mr. John Laurinaitis! Oh, big tough ol' Johnny!" He laughs a bit and continues to walk around the ring. "Now if I had lost to Dolph fair and square I wouldn't be out here bitching and moan about how I am not the King of the Ring and I am not going to Summerslam... but I am going to because Johnny cost me my match and I want Johnny to bring his pansy ass out here right now so I can kick it all up and down Baltimore!" The crowd roars as he steps over to the ropes and leans across them, motioning at the ramp and waiting. He leans his elbow down and pats the microphone across his palm and Laurinaitis proceeds to step out to the top of the stage. Laurinaitis stands still and stares down at Punk, the crowd booing his arrival. He brings his own microphone up and tries to speak, only for Punk to cut him off. "No, no. I don't want you to open those lips, Johnny. I want you to come down to this ring so I can slap them off your idiotic face." The crowd once again pops for Punk and Laurinaitis gives a sigh, bringing the microphone up and responding, "Punk, are you delusional? Or are you just trying to manipulate the minds of the WWE Universe by telling them what a good story to make them dislike me?" He shakes his head, "You cannot turn the true fans on me, Punk! Last night at King of the Ring I did not interfere. Yes, I came down to the ring and I stood up on that apron but did I lay a finger on you, Punk? No! I didn't do anything to you, but rather you decided to bring me into the ring and have the temptation to hit me right there. You cost yourself the King of the Ring, Punk! Not me!" The crowd boos loud as Laurinaitis grows a wide smirk across his face, Punk staring right at him with an eyebrow raised. He backs up to the middle of the ring, patting the microphone down on his palm again. "You have quite the way of twisting things, Johnny. I figure you're not going to come down to this ring though, are you?" Laurinaitis gives a chuckle and shakes his head, to which Punk mimics his raspy voice, "Well that's just alright!" He steps back up to the ropes again, "Because I spoke to Triple H after the show last night and he agrees fully that you are the reason I wasn't victorious last night. So he spoke to the Board of Directors and instead of getting you fired from your job, Johnny, he got something even better: On July 17, in my home town of Chicago, Illinois at Vengeance it will be myself versus John Laurinaitis one on one!" The crowd roars with cheers and Johnny expands his eyes in shock. Punk's music hits and the crowd is amped over the announcement. Laurinaitis tries to speak over the music, but is completely ignored. He keeps trying to talk but finally gives up. He storms off to the back as Punk continues to work the crowd up. Commercial BreakWe return from the break to see John Laurinaitis backstage. He barges into his office and sees Triple H sitting on the couch. Johnny stands furious and steps up to him, "Were you not going to inform me about your preposterous decision, Hunter!?" Triple H stands up and stares him down, "Here's the thing, John. Last night Big Show risked the career of Rey Mysterio. So I'm a little bit more concerned with that issue right now. That's why I decided that instead of me taking time out of my hands to be kicking your ass, I'd leave the guy you screwed over in CM Punk to do that instead. If anything, you should be thanking me for letting you off the hook from having to deal with me." He steps out of the room and leaves John still extremely frustrated. The South Beach Party Boys defeat Unified Tag Team Champions The Usos with Abe Washington in a non-title match The match starts off with Jimmy and Percy, and they go back and forth. This leads to a tag on both sides, and the same exact thing happens. Once things start to pick up, Jimmy and Jules try to cheat a bit while the referee is distracted with Percy on the apron. Darren begins to fight back and the South Beach Party Boys swing momentum completely their way. They team up and launch Jules over the top rope and right onto Abe Washington, and that leaves Jimmy to a double DDT and the pinfall. Darren Young and Percy Watson hop up onto their feet and begin to celebrate to a small amount of cheers from the crowd. Jimmy slowly rolls out of the ring to the feet of the rising Abe Washington and his brother Jules. They stagger backwards up the ramp as The South Beach Party Boys motion for the Unified Tag Team Titles around their waists. The Usos shake their head and pat their belts on their shoulders, but it seems like they might have some competition. Commercial BreakReturning, the screen fuzzes up while Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are trying to talk about Big Show's actions last night. It continues to fuzz up and the lights begin to flicker in the arena as well. A video proceeds to air with a house burnt down and just embers filling up. A voice comes over whispering with a childish laugh beforehand, "Tonight is the night... it has arrived... it has come... it is almost time..." Things then suddenly all come back to normal. The cameras pan back to ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler a bit confused. "Well, ladies and gentlemen, we have been seeing this odd videos for a while now and I guess tonight is the night and... anyway..." Lawler is just unsure what to say in reaction and Cole speaks up, "We'll just have to wait and see what's going to happen. But right now, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. John Laurinaitis has announced that every week up until Summerslam we will have two new talents face off and the winner will get a contract." Brodus Clay defeats Johnny Curtis These two former NXT Season One competitors step up to the middle of the ring, the much larger Clay tossing Curtis into the corner. He slams him around viciously across the ring over and over again. The official tries to get Clay to stop but he charges right up to Curtis as he gets up and delivers a huge samoan drop. The crowd boos as he gets up and slaps himself across the chest in taunt. He steps up to the ropes and yells out to the crowd, "Who gonna stop me!?" He then turns back, hits off the ropes and returns with a big splash right on Curtis. He hooks the leg and gets the three count. Clay rises up to his feet and the official raises his arm up, the big man pulling away quickly and staring at the referee in disgust. He turns back to the crowd and pounds on his chest, followed up with the raising of his fists in the air. He walks over to the ropes and steps out of the ring, as he is now the newest official member of the Raw brand. The cameras pan backstage to show Triple H walking down a hallway - he will address Big Show's situation next! Commercial BreakWe return to the First Mariner Arena. The crowd is scanned over momentarily and the lights dim down and Triple H brings himself out to the ramp, the arena roaring with cheers. The Co-General Manager brings himself down the ramp slowly. He goes up the steel steps and looks around the arena before entering the ring, microphone in hand. He looks around as the lights come back and the music fades out. He breaths in a bit and pulls the microphone up, "Last night at King of the Ring it was Rey Mysterio versus The Big Show in a stretcher match. I wanted this match, and Rey wanted this match, and I believe Big Show wanted this match as well." He walks around a bit, "But what happened last night was absolutely unacceptable. If you did not see the pay-per-view, Big Show was victorious." He lets the crowd boo at the result before speaking once more, "After he was victorious he grabbed a microphone and talked about how he isn't loved by the WWE Universe. He said that he was upset that they love guys like Rey Mysterio, and that is why he is so angry. But Big Show, I got to tell you something..." He is cut off as the music of Big Show hits. Show comes down to the ring and stands over Hunter, staring down at him. He brings his microphone up slowly, "You told me last night that you weren't going to fire me... yet. Instead you invited me to come to Monday Night Raw here tonight. So Hunter, here I am." The crowd boos him as he paces a little bit, "I figure as long as you are going to be talking about me like I am not even in the building or able to speak for myself, I might as well come out here and listen. So go ahead, say what you wanted to say." Triple H stares him down and brings the microphone back up, "What I was going to say, Show, was that I simply do not care why you are pissed off." The crowd cheers as Show widens his eyes and steps forward a bit, "Honestly, I don't think anybody gives a damn Show. You don't go around here literally throwing my superstars around like they aren't worth anything - especially if they are a personal friend of mine." Show rubs his chin and turns his head off to the side and Hunter is angry himself now, "Look at me when I'm talking to you, you son of a-" Before he can finish it off, Show plants him with a giant knockout punch! The crowd boos as Show stands over the Co-General Manager. He reaches down and pulls him up by his hair, throwing him through the ropes to the outside floor. He steps out slowly and kicks Hunter in the stomach as he tries to crawl. He makes his way over to the steel steps and pulls the top part off, bringing it over to Triple H. He drags him up once again as multiple officials come down to the ring, begging Show to stop. He lifts him high up into the air and drops him right down on the steps with the chokeslam! The crowd boos wildly as the World's Largest Athlete rises onto his feet. The referees step between him to hold him back and he begins to back up the ramp, raising a fist in the air to the booing crowd as he proceeds to make his way backstage with a slight grin of satisfaction across his face. Commercial BreakWe come back to see Triple H being on a stretcher in the back and the medical crew assisting him towards an ambulance. John Laurinaitis steps into the scene, "What's wrong with him? What's wrong with my Co-General Manager!?" The medics continue to put Triple H up into the ambulance and one of them stops to talk to Johnny, "We're not entirely sure yet, but we think he may of sustained a very serious spinal injury from the attack." He pulls himself up into the ambulance and shuts the doors. The sirens go off and the ambulance drives away. Laurinaitis, meanwhile, watches with his hands stuffed in his pocket. He looks down at the ground then raises his head back up, a slight grin peeling across his face. The crowd roars with boos in the background. Unified Diva's Champion Kharma defeats Kelly Kelly The bell rings and Kelly steps up to the beast of a woman, sending a few shots. Obviously a mistake already as Kharma grabs a hold of her by the neck with both and tosses Kelly into the corner. She rushes up and smashes right into her, and proceeds to toss her around the ring like a rag doll with the hair. She then delivers the Chokebomb right in the middle of the ring, placing both hands down on the throat for the pinfall. The Unified Diva's Champion slowly rises onto her feet, snatching her belt away from the referee. She throws it over her shoulder and stands over the lifeless body of Kelly Kelly. The destruction and reign of terror that is Kharma has continued here tonight. She exits the ring as the referee checks on Kelly. As we are about to fade out to commercial, the screen begins to fuzz up once again. There is a flickering and the burnt down house is once again shown. A child's laugh is heard and the video begins to play in reverse, connecting all of the promos together as we have seen before. The house re-emerges and is fully on fire, and then we fast forward through it going down once again. A whispering voice once again comes over, "Have no fear... for I am already here..." Commercial BreakDrew McIntyre defeats Evan Bourne The bell rings and the two charge up to each other, trading blows. Bourne gets the upper hand for a short while and flies across the ring. He hits a few high flying moves but McIntyre avoids an Air Bourne attempt. He gets back onto his feet and throws Bourne shoulder first into the nearby steel post. He then drags him out to the middle of the ring and looks around the arena before he hits the Future Shock DDT and gets the pin. McIntyre gets up onto his feet and pumps both his fists in the air as Evan Bourne has once again lost a match. McIntyre celebrates to the booing crowd and exits the ring, Bourne left laying on the mat with his face in his hands in disbelief at yet another defeat. We cut backstage to see Todd Grisham, and he introduces his guest at this time to be the 2012 King of the Ring Dolph Ziggler. He asks him how it feels to win the tournament once again despite the controversy. Ziggler stares down at Grisham, seeming insulted, "Controversy? Did you not happen to see what Mr. John Laurinaitis stated earlier? He didn't cost CM Punk King of the Ring. CM Punk cost CM Punk King of the Ring by getting too distracted with him when he should of been focusing on perfection. Now I am the King of the Ring for the second time. Just like I said last night... the only other person to ever win King of the Ring two years in a row was Bret Hart and I am still going to prove that I am better than Bret Hart easily better than he is now, better than what he ever has been, and better than he ever will be." He scoffs at Grisham and walks away as the six man tag team main event match is up next. Commercial BreakThe WWE Week in Review video segment begins to air. Last week on Raw, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton teamed up against Bryan Danielson and The Miz. On Smackdown Alberto Del Rio and Wade Barrett faced off with John Cena as the referee. However, the two opponents would turn on him. Cena would maange to overcome the two of them, though, and finish off the Thursday Night Smackdown edition with the WWE Championship high above his head. An advertizement to order the King of the Ring pay-per-view event for the rest of the week followed up. World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson, The Miz, and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler with Kaitlyn defeat Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Kofi Kingston The match starts off with Jericho and Miz. They lock up with each other and Jericho gets the upper hand by bringing things to the mat. There are a few tags back and forth and then all hell breaks loose. Everybody begins to spill out of the ring and the official loses control. A commercial break splits the match, and when we return more tags are made amongst all. Things pick up once Kofi Kingston launches himself over the top rope to attack Ziggler, but the King off the Ring moves. Kingston lands badly on his knee and has to leave the match, making it a three-on-two. Orton and Jericho fight hard, but Danielson low blows Jericho while the referee is distracted, allowing The Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale and get the pinfall. Ziggler and Danielson are quick to get out of the ring, The Miz getting up and taking in all the glory. The World Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion begin to point behind Miz as he tries to get them to the ring to celebrate with him. He widens his eyes and slowly turns around to Randy Orton! He jumps in the air and nails him with the RKO square in the middle of the ring. Orton pops onto his feet and walks around Miz. Jericho, meanwhile, manages to get back up with assistance from the ropes. He stares down Danielson, whom raises his title belt up and pats it aggressively in taunt to Y2J. Commercial BreakWe return to see Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler at ringside, and they proceed to state that an announcement have been made by John Laurinaitis. That announcement being that if he is to face CM Punk at Vengeance, it is going to be a street fight to give a "fair playing ground". They go to say more but the lights suddenly go out in the arena. The crowd begins to give a mixed reaction as the titantron begins to fuzz up once again. The date of June 20, 2011 flashes repeatedly, and the rewinding and fast forwarding of the house burning down plays over and over. The titantron then goes off and a giant pyro goes off on the stage. There is nothing after that momentarily as the crowd begins to give a mixed reaction. The lights suddenly rise up to a dark red and the music of Kane hits. He doesn't come out at first but he finally emerges through smoke filling up on the stage, and he is wearing a large helmet. He slowly raises his head up and begins to walk down to the ring. He steps into it slowly and stands in the middle with his head down, hair draped over the helmet he has on. He pulls it off slowly and swings his head up, showing a mask resembling what he used to wear. The crowd cheers as he throws his hands up over his head, and then back down as the signature pyrotechnics hit the corners of the ring. His music fades away and the lights begin to come back up. Kane stands in the middle of the ring, looking out to the crowd that continues with it's mixed reaction. He continues to just stand still and look around the arena until out of absolutely no where the lights suddenly go out again. A gong goes off and the crowd erupts! Another one goes off and suddenly The Undertaker emerges to the stage, the Baltimore crowd exploding! He slowly walks down per usual and after about a minute arrives to the steel steps. He heads up them and gives his signature eye roll, the lights coming back on. Undertaker slowly steps into the ring as Kane stares him down without any expression. The Dead Man steps right up to his brother and the two stare each other down. The crowd cheers wildly and breaks out into a "Undertaker!" chant. He lets it go for a while before stepping past Kane, brushing shoulders. He takes a microphone from ringside and steps behind him. The Big Red Machine slowly turns back around and they continue to stare. Undertaker pulls the microphone up in between them, "Summerslam." The crowd begins to cheer wildly as Kane snarls and breaths a bit, Taker lowering the microphone down. He reaches out and takes it away from his brother, slowly raising it up and breathing heavily, "Hell... in a Cell..." The crowd bursts into cheers even louder as Kane drops the microphone. The two brothers stare down to conclude Monday Night Raw!

A good segment to kick off the show with CM Punk and John Laurinaitis. A match at Vengeance sounds fine, especially with it being in Chicago. I imagine Punk will destroy him, but I'd hate to see this be the end of Johnny. Not much of a strong opening contest, but an acceptable win for Young and Watson over the champions. I do see the Usos walking out of this feud still as the Unified Tag Team Champions. New talent every week until SummerSlam? Love it. Brodus Clay getting the win and a contract is fine. Will be interesting to see him go on RAW as a monster heel rather than a dancing, fun loving face. Interesting segment with Triple H and Big Show. Show laying Hunter out, I see a SummerSlam encounter between the two. Yay, kill Kelly. Like literally kill her, Kharma. C'mon, you can do it. A good victory for Drew McIntyre. Hoping that this losing streak for Bourne will have a payoff. A huge tag team main event, and a more than acceptable victory for the heels as Miz and, technically, Bryan came up short at King of the Ring. Looking for some blowoff match for the Danielson/Jericho feud at Vengeance. Kane as 6/20/11 was expected, but not the Undertaker. Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam is huge, and definitely something to look forward to throughout the Summer. A good RAW.

The aftermath of the King of Ring is here. Great segment to start it off. I enjoy the CM Punk/John Lauranitis storyline and a match featuring them at the next ppv in Chicago seems ideal. Although I'd like to see Punk absolutely obliterate Lauranitis, I doubt it will happen. Considering his power and influence, Lauranitis probably has a trump card. A good tag team match to start off the evening. Looks like we now have the South Beach Party Boys challenging the Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships, although I expect the latter team to still retain. Nice concept in introducing talent. With no third brand, you need to find an interesting way of bringing in new blood and this seems like it works, especially with Brodus Clay being the first one to benefit. It'll be interesting to see what's in store for him. Looks like the feud with Rey Mysterio is over with and the Big Show has now set his sights on Triple H. It doesn't look good so far for the Game after being laid out like he was. It also doesn't look good for certain superstars since it seems that Lauranitis now has full control of the show now. Not the least bit surprised that Kelly Kelly got decimated by Kharma. She was totally outclassed here and it was obvious. A good match with Drew McIntyre and Evan Bourne. Bourne hasn't had much luck lately after losing here and to both Usos. A loaded main event six-man tag team match featuring three big heels in The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Bryan Danielson and three big faces in Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho. The heels winning was the right call as they needed it more in their respective feuds. It wasn't surprising to see Kane being the one behind all the vignettes, but it certainly was with the Undertaker showing up. Looks like we'll see a rekindling of their classic rivalry, in Hell in a Cell no less. Good show. Keep up the great work.

6/20/11 I knew it all along that it was going to be Kane but I definitely was taken by surprise when The Undertaker also showed up, and it looks like Undertaker & Kane's rivalry will be reignited yet again especially in Hell In A Cell no less at SummerSlam, I can definitely see that being the SummerSlam main event but these brothers didn't they already face each other inside Satan's structure? Because last time I checked, The Brothers of Destruction faced each other inside Hell In A Cell with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line and Kane won that
CM Punk and Big Johnny at Vengeance, since it is in Punk's home town, I see Big Johnny winning somehow with help, and in terms of who helps Big Johnny, I can definitely see it being The Big Show
Big Show laying Triple H out like that only makes Big Show look more like how he is supposed to be, an angry giant who just decimates everyone and everything and he decimates Rey and then decimates Triple H, I want to see Show get pushed here and hopefully he ends up getting a World Heavyweight Championship match sometime in the future but I can definitely see Big Show vs. Triple H at SummerSlam
Drew McIntyre beats Evan Bourne, hopefully you give The Chosen One a huge push towards main event status because he definitely deserves it as far as I'm concerned while Evan Bourne on the other hand I would rather he compete for the IC Title
Kharma decimating Kelly Kelly, can anyone stop this woman here? No one can, she has seemingly had her way with the Divas and she has had her way with them ever since becoming WWE Divas Champion and the way I see it, she is going to stay champion for a long time
I wonder just who will become the next #1 Contender for Bryan Danielson's World Heavyweight Championship, but if anything I think there is going to be a Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Danielson defending against my man Orton, Jericho, and The Miz

If anything I hope you can bring back The Rock, to set up Rock vs. Cena Once In A Lifetime at WrestleMania 28 and what better way to bring The Rock back than by bringing him back at SummerSlam or at Survivor Series here
And since you don't have a 3rd brand anymore, you are going to have to introduce superstars such as Lord Tensai with Sakamoto, Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, etc.
And please whatever you do, please bring back The Beast Brock Lesnar

| SUPERSTARS RESULTS – TWO WWE EMPLOYEES RELEASED – KANE AND UNDERTAKER – PLANS FOR TRIPLE H AND BIG SHOW |
- Alex Riley defeated R-Truth via pinfall following the You're Dismissed; Brodus Clay defeated Goldust via pinfall following a Samoan Drop and Big Splash; Cody Rhodes defeated Derrick Bateman via a roll up with his feet on the ropes in the main event.
- WWE.com has officially announced that David Hart Smith and Carlito have both been released of their contracts. Carlito, unlike Smith, apparently requested to be let go. In an interview this afternoon following the announcement on a Pennsylvania radio station (Smackdown is in Hershey, Carlito took the trip to say his good-byes) Carlito was interviewed. When asked why he requested his release, he responded by saying, "I just wasn't happy with the situation I had been in. I had been in countless meeting and was respectful about wanting better things for my career, but it just never happened. It's time to move on."
- With the return of both Kane and The Undertaker on Monday night and the two making the Hell in a Cell match at Summerslam, it appears that the main reason for this is to give Kane one big feud before he retires. We reported last Summer (just a few months before he won the WWE Championship at Summerslam) that Kane had suffered a minor injury in his knee. It has apparently come to the point that he will require knee surgery, and the company is unsure about him being able to stay around much longer, and therefore he will get a big feud before anything else is penciled in.
- Triple H came to the ring on Monday Night Raw to address the issue of Big Show attacking Rey Mysterio after their match at King of the Ring. While Mysterio is having minor surgery that should only keep him out for a couple of months or so, the plan right now is to keep Triple H off of television for a while to leave John Laurinaitis to run things on his own, and eventually end up with Triple H versus Big Show.

WWE King of the Ring: Sunday 19th June 2011...Good opening contest choice, much like in real life at June's Capitol Punishment event, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler in action; this time for the spot in the finals of the tournament. I don't think that anybody doubted Ziggler winning going into this one, as good a competitor as Kofi is. Rated a little highly, don't you think? Up next, Christian and CM Punk had a great match, I'd have personally split it up with another match though, both semi-finals seemed very good and competitive and such. Punk winning was the right call to make, and a great final has been set up, with potential to steal the show. Kharma beating April Lee was expected in my mind, would've given Kharma a little bit more of a chase against the WWE Divas Champion though, maybe up to SummerSlam or something. Hoping Kharma doesn't lose the title for a long, long time. A Stretcher match between Rey Mysterio and Big Show in 2012 eh? Reminds me a bit of 2003. Mysterio losing was so expected, the match could have been shorter really. The post-match segment was also maybe a little too much, you could've gotten away with the baseball-bat swing stretcher spot with Mysterio, wrapping him around the ringpost. Triple H annoyed by Show's antics? Building towards a match at SummerSlam, maybe. Jack Swagger with the cheap heat about Washington comments, and the faking an injury to avoid facing Sin Cara for the WWE United States Championship. Very well done there, although what happened to the match? They still competed, did they not? Just not in an official formula. Randy Orton and the Miz had a decent match with the right man getting the win, but it came off as pure filler to me. I was surpised not to see the WWE Championship match main event the pay-per-view really. I was even more surprised that Wade Barrett walked out victorious. Barrett playing the cocky coward champion I'm not a fan of though, as it simply reads "transitional champion material" to me. He's supposed to be a goddamn bare-knuckle street fighter! Up next, solid match for the World Heavyweight Championship with a tremendous exchange. I hope there's more matches to come, and with a finish like the disqualification, I can only hope that this is what it will lead to. Maybe Vengeance. Wow, Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk main evented. Made it seem very prestigious, and I loved Ziggler triumphing with thanks to John Laurinaitis. I hope Ziggler doesn't get the royalty gimmick like Booker T did in 2006, eugh. Overall, tremendous show with very little that I had to complain about.
