WWE: Monday 20th May - Saturday 16th June 2012...I can't say that I'm a massive fan of this format of a diary, as it strikes me as rushed. Nonetheless, nice, thorough detail to build up to the next pay-per-view for each match. The Undertaker's Mercenaries of Darkness strikes me as a new-age Ministry, which is always cool, but I can just never see 'Taker in this age portraying a heel. A fatal four-way match leading into Night of Champions sounds cool - a variety of participants in this WWE Championship match, I wonder if their chemistries would suit one another. Mr Kennedy and Ryback strikes me as a strange feud. I'm glad that Ryback was stripped of the WWE United States Championship, as it's a dead-end division, and that he doesn't need that belt. I see Ryback taking the World Heavyweight Championship match from Kennedy, personally. Hmm, very independent-driven feud over the WWE Tag Team Championships, as we prepare Bryan Danielson and Damien Sandow (a cool tag team, by the way), against Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. Up next, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho would make for a great match. Although, I'm not sure why Jericho is even needing another WWE Intercontinental Championship shot at this stage in his career. April Lee and Kaitlyn's feud is expected, with Lee finding a new attitude. I'm not a fond fan of only ten men challenging for the WWE United States Championship in a battle royal; those small-numbered battle royals have never made sense to me. Why not give the entire male roster coverage and allow them to challenge? Would be a nice way to increase numbers of undercarders, and put them on PPV. Meanwhile, Kofi Kingston making a return was nice, should be interesting to see what Kofi does with the Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. The Rock returning meanwhile, is fine. Overall, a nice build for the championship-spammed up pay-per-view of the year. I do however believe that there should be additional information on what else is happening on television with undercarders, that could step up the roster suddenly in a build-up for a future pay-per-view, or something. That's why I dislike this layout, personally. Looking forward to Night of Champions, nonetheless.

dude, The Undertaker's new group i kinda like too and dig. That is too super-cool with what The Undertaker is doing. Kinda like a glimpse to his Ministry days. But with a new twist. I personally can't wait for The Rock to return soon maybe announce that he's coming back to wrestle. All in All, this BTB is pretty good. Keep it up man

| LIVE FROM THE IZOD CENTER IN EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ |
PRE-SHOW: Seth Rollins defeats Brodie Lee via pinfall.
A promo video begins with marquees coming down displaying all of the current championship holders in the WWE. It swings to The Undertaker - speaking of how he is the only member of the WWE today to be on the very first episode of Raw, and he holds an astonishing record of twenty and zero at WrestleMania. It then goes over to Dean Ambrose - saying he is a rising star under the wing of the WWE Champion and already a champion in his own right. The shift goes to Bryan Danielson and Damien Sandow, speaking of how the duo began dysfunctional and concerning, but have managed to work together to become the WWE Tag Team Champions. Next is April Lee, the Diva's Champion who has ever since having her friend Kaitlyn become number one contender, lost control of herself. Lastly, it goes to Mr. Kennedy - being the WWE resident loud mouth and the winner of the Royal Rumble, the World Heavyweight Champion. The video goes black and "Champion" by Clement Marfo & The Frontline hits, the cameras panning into the Izod Center with the pyrotechnics hitting all across the stage. Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome everybody to the show, where every single championship in the WWE will be on the line here tonight, as well as a special guest appearance from one of the biggest legends in WWE history - The Rock!
A Special Appearance from The Rock
The arena goes quiet, but immediately bursts at the crack of "If ya smell!", the lights around the arena flashing as The Rock emerges from the back, the New Jersey fans losing it. The Brahma Bull walks from each side of the stage back and forth, working the crowd over. He points to the fans with a smile and makes his way down the ramp and to the ring, hopping onto the apron and to the second turnbuckle, signature fist raised up high to the sky. The audience continues their loud cheering as he drops down to the middle of the squared circle, observing the arena before taking a hold of a microphone at ring side, the music dying down. He brings the microphone up, but stops himself as the crowd breaks out into 'Rocky' chants. He laughs a little bit and pulls the mic back once again, "FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK... TO NEW JERSSSSEYYYY..." He lets the crowd roar and struts around a bit, wiping away at his face and giving a large smile to the camera. "The Rock promised he would be here tonight, because a Night of Champions is not a true Night of Champions without the People's Champion!" He continues to let the crowd interrupt with their cheers and chants, "The Rock comes here for more reason than just that, though. The Rock comes here tonight because of what happened to him just a few months ago... A few months ago The Rock came down to this ring, got into the face of a man and tried to give him some words of advice. He told that man that facing Stone Cold Steve Austin - not just at WrestleMania - but at any point in time, was not an easy task! The Rock tried to be a good guy, but The Rock got treated like utter monkey poo by a giant piece of monkey poo in PMS Punk!" The crowd gives a laugh and a cheer as he shakes his head and wags his finger, "Let The Rock tell you a story! Let The Rock tell you a story about when he was a young man, around the age of fourteen and already a gazillion times the man PMS Punk ever will be! The Rock was in a confrontation at a convenience store and The Rock told the man standing across the counter from him that he was giving him the wrong attitude. The Rock told that man that if he didn't show The Rock respect, he was gonna get knocked out!" He rubs his chin and gives a smile, putting his hand out, "So of course the man decided he was going to continue trash talkin' The Rock, and The Rock knocked him straight down on his candy ass!" The crowd roars for the statement and The People's Champion walks around the ring, motioning his hand up the ramp. "Now, The Rock knows that Punk has himself a big match tonight for the WWE Championship, but The Rock also knows that he has a lot of balls in his words, but is a little bitch when it comes up to putting up a fight! So PMS Punk, I'm giving you the opportunity to bring your candy ass out to that ramp, plop a squat like the damn fool you are, drop yourself a little pipe bomb and then after you're done doing the talky talky, you come down to this ring, put your fists up and take the beating your ass deserves and get checked straight into the Smackdown hotel!" The arena erupts with cheers once again, the familiar fuzzed noise hitting.
CM Punk proceeds to bring himself out to the ramp with a microphone in his hand, giving a sarcastic smile to the crowd and to The Rock. "Congratulations, Dwayne, you worked the crowd up with your jokes about my name and irrelevant stories about a guy with absolutely no talent compared to myself and a couple of classic one liners. You called me out here and gave me the invitation to speak my mind, so I'm going to do just that - so you can plop your candy ass down and open them ears up and listen to what I have to say." The fans boo as Punk stretches his arms out and clears his throat, "You call yourself the People's Champ, Dwayne, and I honestly believe that is the perfect name for you. Because just like all of these people you are an absolute moron! You think that you're funny with your jokes more suiting for a ten year old on the playgrounds at his school to his little friends, and what does that make you? See, my little story has some relevance because it actually resembles you and the people. Your story about beating up a guy at a convenience store for disrespecting you has no relevance in resemblance to myself, because unlike that poor sap - which, by the way Dwayne, is assault - I actually have skills. If that story were to be of relevance to our little scenario between each other, I'd be you and you'd be the convenience store worker with no skill but a loud mouth with nothing to back it up." Punk goes to continue on but Rock waves his hands wildly, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Did PMS Punk just call The Rock out on having a loud mouth?" Punk tries to fire back but Rock keeps going, "The Rock knows that you have a match later on, so he knows that you won't come down to this ring to risk it all right now, but The Rock is willing to issue you a challenge. The Rock is issuing you a challenge in regards to his return to the ring! The Rock wants PMS Punk to go one on one with the great one in his hometown of Los Angeles, California at the biggest party of the summer - Summerslam!" The crowd sends themselves into uproar and Punk chuckles a bit, shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders, pulling the microphone up once again. "Tell you what, Dwayne, how about you stick around tonight and watch the match for the WWE Championship later on. Once I win that title, then I will be more than happy to accept your challenge for Summerslam just to see the look on your face when you get defeated by the Best in the World!" His music hits once again and he spreads his arms out wide, dropping the microphone before heading to the back. The Rock remains in the ring with his head held high.
Singles Match for the Intercontinental Championship Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose(c)
The bell sounds and the two circle around momentarily before coming to the middle of the ring, Ambrose tripping Jericho down to the mat. He applies a headlock and keeps him grounded before dragging him back onto his feet. The champion backs up into the corner and throws a couple of shots across the back of Jericho, pulling out of the corner and hitting a DDT. He goes for an early pinfall but Jericho kicks out easily, and both men get up with the challenger hitting a dropkick. Ambrose gets back up and checks his mouth before being met with another dropkick that sends him out to the apron. Y2J proceeds to springboard off the other ropes nearby, shooting back with another dropkick that sends Ambrose off and into the barricade. Y2J gets back onto his feet and stomps around the ring, throwing his hands up to get the crowd fired up. He steps out of the ring and walks over to Ambrose only to be hit in the stomach. The Intercontinental Champion follows up with a knee to the stomach and an elbow to the head, tossing Jericho into the steel steps right afterward. He steps away momentarily and catches his breath before tossing Jericho back into the ring, hopping in and going for a pin only to get a two count. He hits off of the ropes and comes back with a hard clothesline, once again getting a count of two on a pin attempt. Ambrose drags his opponent up once again, tossing him into the corner. He hits a couple of shots to the head and proceeds with an armdrag takedown, keeping the arm pinned behind the back. He wraps his arm around the neck and drops down to the mat, keeping a tight grip around the throat. He switches the hold over to a rear naked choke and Jericho begins to struggle about, trying to get free. Ambrose continues to tighten the hold and the official checks down on Jericho as he begins to fade a bit. He raises the arm up and it drops the first time, as well as the second. On the third time, however, Jericho waves his hand about and starts to search around once again. He begins to squirm to the chants of "Y2J" of the crowd, and elbows Dean in the head until he lets go. Both men get back up and Jericho ducks a shot, throwing a few of his own. He tosses Ambrose off the ropes and meets him with a forearm to the head on the comeback, running to the ropes himself and hitting a lionsault! He hooks both legs up but only gets a count of two. Jericho gets back up onto his knees and runs his hand through his hair, breathing heavily. He looks to the referee for re-assurance of the count. He takes Ambrose back up and hits a few chops to the chest, the crowd giving a "Woo!" each time. Ambrose then jumps up suddenly for a dropkick, only for Jericho to catch the legs and trip him down to the mat, turning him over quickly and applying the Walls of Jericho! The crowd goes wild as Ambrose begins to search rapidly for the ropes. Cody Rhodes then brings himself down the ramp and to the ring, the fans responding with heat. He hops onto the apron and the referee turns his attention to the fellow Mercenaries of Darkness member. Jericho lets go out of confusion, but as he starts to walk over to the referee Dolph Ziggler comes into the ring from behind, nailing the Zig Zag! He slips out of the ring and goes over the barricade, backing up through the crowd. Rhodes finally drops down from the apron and Ambrose gets back onto his feet, letting Jericho rise before hitting him with the headlock driver. He hooks both legs up and gets the three count.
Winners of the match and still Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose (10:46) ***3/4

Both men give devious looks to the crowd with Ambrose's Intercontinental Championship held high. Replays air, showing the distraction by Cody Rhodes as Dolph Ziggler made his return by costing his rival, Chris Jericho, the match. The cameras pan back live as Ambrose and Rhodes laugh as they head towards the back, Jericho furious at the sight of the replays of how he lost the match.
The cameras cut backstage to Matt Sriker, and he introduces his guest at this time to be Ryback. He asks how he feels about having his United States Championship stripped of him by John Laurinaitis. Ryback stares at Matt before speaking, "How do I feel? How do I feel about the Commissioner abusing his rights with favoritism?" He shakes his head and laughs, "You know what, Matt, it's all just fine. Because tonight, I will destroy Kennedy. Destroy him to the point that the injury I caused upon him is forgotten about. I don't need the United States title, because after I get through with Kennedy tonight I will be holding the World Heavyweight Championship high up over my head, shouting along with the WWE Universe - Feed! Me! More!" He walks off with the crowd beginning the chant.

"Look, Kenny, I just want to wish you luck out there. I mean, you've been my guy for the past year and it has all paid off for you to be the World Heavyweight Champion. You may have a big injury in your knee, but you got a bigger heart." He puts Kennedy on the back and gives a smile, to which the champion adjusts his belt and scoffs. "You're wishing me luck, Johnny? You're wishing me luck? That's funny. That's real frickin' funny, seeing as how you didn't stand up for me. You just took what Vince said and followed orders. I don't need your luck. I'll walk down to that ring and beat Ryback with my own will." He limps off and Laurinaitis stuffs his hands in his pockets, seeming a bit disappointed. We cut to ringside where the commentary crew talk about the tension between the commissioner and the World Heavyweight Champion. He gets back up and starts throwing forearms to Undertaker's head until he is caught by the throat and pushed over the top rope and to the floor. The Celtic Warrior stirs up onto his feet but is met from behind with a clothesline from Orton, and he steps up to 'Taker, hitting him with shots to the head. Orton throws a couple of uppercuts to the jaw and goes for the RKO, the WWE Champion shoving him forward. Orton then turns straight into a grip of the throat and a huge chokeslam! Undertaker goes for a pinfall but Punk pulls him by the ankle out of the ring. Taker looks at him wide eyed but Punk ducks a punch, hitting a kick right in the ribcage! He throws a couple of clubs across the back and drops the Dead Man's face off the announce table. He gets back into the ring and begins to trade some blows with Sheamus and goes for the Go To Sleep, only for Sheamus to slide free and hit off the ropes and returns with the Brogue Kick! He prepares to go for the pin but Orton flies in with a huge RKO! He hooks both legs up of Sheamus but he manages to kick out at two. The Viper staggers back up and motions his hand up and down for Punk, and he goes for the RKO on him as he rises but Punk shoves him to the ropes, 'Taker pulling them down and letting Orton drop to the floor. Taker then takes Orton by the neck and tosses him against the steel steps, letting him lay out on the floor. Punk comes flying through the ropes however, and takes 'Taker right up against the announce table! He slowly rises back up onto his feet and cleans off the announce table, giving a bit of a laugh. Sheamus comes from behind, however, and raises him up off the ground and tosses him back first into the steel post! Punk drops down onto both knees and Sheamus kicks him right in the face. He steps back and walks up to Undertaker, only to be caught by the throat and dropped with the chokeslam through the table! The crowd cheers as 'Taker brings himself back into the ring, staggering back onto his feet and leaning across the ropes facing the stage. He catches his breath and turns around, being hit with a hard clothesline from Orton! Taker gets back up slowly and The Viper gives him a few uppercuts straight into the jaw, backing him into the corner. He throws a couple more shots before hitting a giant dropkick. Taker rolls out to the apron and Orton pulls him back up, dragging him through the middle and top ropes, delivering the rope hung DDT! He slides back onto his hands and knees and starts to pound his fists into the mat. He gets up soon, however, as Punk comes back into the ring and he goes for the RKO once again, Punk shoving him aside. He goes for a huge kick to the head but ducks away and hits the RKO right in the middle of the ring! He flips right over and hooks up both legs, Punk managing to kick out just before the three! The crowd gives an 'ooh' as Orton rolls onto his back in disbelief of the two count. He slips back up onto his feet and goes up to Taker in the corner, throwing tons of shots to the head until Taker pushes him back with his hand in the face. Sheamus stumbles back towards the ring on the outside, and Taker launches Orton over the ropes with a simple toss, the Viper dropping right down on the Celtic Warrior! Taker leans across the ropes and Punk charges up behind him, hitting a hard dropkick that sends the champion right over the ropes. Punk gets back up onto his feet and moves back to the middle of the ring, spreading his arms out to the crowd. The fans fill up with boos but erupt as The Rock comes charging down the ramp and to the ring! He begins to fire shots at Punk and he gives some right back. The two go back and forth with shot after shot, Rock getting the upper hand and sending Punk to the mat! He goes to hit him with the Rock Bottom, but Punk sends a few elbows and drops to the mat and out of the ring. He stumbles his way down the side of the ramp and towards the back, Rock charging right after him! Back towards the ring, Orton throws Sheamus in and comes in trading blows with him. Sheamus catches the wrist, however, and twists Orton right for the Celtic Cross across the ring! Sheamus staggers back onto his feet and pounds away at his chest, preparing for the Brogue Kick, only to back right up to Undertaker and the clasp around his throat. The Dead Man proceeds to lift him up off the mat and deliver the Tombstone Piledriver right in the middle of the ring! He folds both hands across the chest for the pinfall.
Winner of the match and still WWE Champion, The Undertaker (17:37) ***3/4
The crowd breaks out in boos as the Dead Man pulls off of Sheamus and remains on one knee, keeping his arm draped across it. The Mercenaries of Darkness in Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose come down to the ring to their leader, presenting him with the WWE Championship. The two stand behind their leader and raise their Intercontinental and United States Championships as 'Taker puts up his WWE Championship, the lights dimming down and the crowd booing the very dominant and dangerous trio.
The cameras transition backstage to see CM Punk stumbling his way through the back and towards the parking lot, holding onto his head. Suddenly, The Rock comes charging up from behind and takes him by the neck, tossing Punk face first into one of the cars! He jumps over him and starts to throw shots to the face repeatedly. Punk shoves him back and tries to get away again, Rock coming at him once more but Punk kicks him right in the groin! He then lifts him up onto his shoulders and hits him with the Go To Sleep, letting him fall back on the windshield of a car. Punk breaths heavily and holds onto the back of his head. "See you at Summerslam... Dwayne." He backs off as the camera shows one last shot of Rock writhing in pain as Night of Champions comes to an end.

Night of Champions Review
What a great way to start off the pay per view with the return of The Brahma Bull The Great One the People's Champion The Rock is back, he has returned finally to the WWE, finally you bring The Rock back and if you ask me it is about damn time you bring him back but what an announcement for him to make by saying that he will be at SummerSlam but that he will be competing at SummerSlam, then you know if Rock is competing at the biggest party of the summer at SummerSlam he definitely needs to be in the main event closing out the show, but I definitely loved him calling out CM Punk and it is understandable so considering their history and considering the last time these 2 were ever in a ring together it was before WrestleMania 28 where CM Punk gave Rock a GTS and we didn't see Rock since until now and now that he is back he wants CM Punk at SummerSlam, what a great main event that will be
But I have to correct you A.J., The Rock is not from Los Angeles, that is not The Rock's hometown, The Rock is from Miami, Florida, like how do you not know that?
Jericho vs Ambrose ending in Ambrose retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship and why? Because Dolph Ziggler got involved in the match that is why, and if Dolph hadn't gotten involved you know as well as I do, Jericho would have won the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a record 10th time but no Ambrose wins again all be it he had inadvertent help from Ziggler, but nevertheless it was a great match but it doesn't look like Ziggler/Jericho's feud isn't going away anytime soon that's for sure but it seems Undertaker and his New Ministry are off to a winning start tonight with Ambrose winning his match
Ryback's interview was great because he sure as hell seems confident and can you really blame the man? He has an advantage heading into this match with Kennedy being injured and all and Ryback being at a complete 100%, a new World Heavyweight Champion is upon us and his name is Ryback
Cody Rhodes wins back the WWE United States Championship in a 10-man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal and now Cody is a 2-time WWE United States Champion, because it wasn't all that long ago that he was the WWE United States Champion but now that he is again, The Undertaker & his New Ministry are continuing their winning ways tonight that is for sure, with Ambrose retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship and Rhodes becoming the new WWE United States Champion, it makes me wonder if The Phenom will retain his WWE Championship tonight?
The promo package for Great American Bash, your next PPV, I can't wait
Sandow and Danielson still WWE Tag Team Champions retaining their titles yet again against Kings of Wrestling beating both Cesaro and Ohno yet again for the 2nd time, it makes me wonder if Sandow and Danielson are going to be WWE Tag Team Champions for the long haul? Because if they are, then I don't know if I can be in support of that, that's for sure because if anything if you ask me Cesaro and Ohno have more potential as a tag team and certainly have much more potential than Sandow and Danielson could ever hope to have that's for sure but at the same time I think it could be better if Cesaro and Ohno go their separate ways becoming singles competitors but Sandow and Danielson definitely need more competition
It seems Kofi Kingston is going to be at ringside during Ryback vs Mr. Kennedy for the World Heavyweight Championship and if he is, then Kofi being out here he could cash in on either of them and if that happens, then we are definitely in for a new champion either way but with Kofi being out here, I smell a rat
Ryback is the new World Heavyweight Champion, Ryback beats Kennedy, this is so great but then out of nowhere cue Kofi Kingston picking his spot and cashing in his briefcase on Ryback especially after Ryback has just gone through a brutal match with Kennedy, and Kofi cashing in his briefcase quickly on a vulnerable Ryback with Kofi being in cahoots with Big Johnny who pretends like he has no idea what is going on but we all know he does and Big Johnny sets the distraction for Kofi to take advantage of Ryback hitting the Trouble in Paradise and then hitting a 2nd one for good measure to put Ryback down to win the World Heavyweight Championship all be it under controversial circumstances
I honestly never thought that I would see my countryman, my Ghanaian compatriot Kofi Kingston turn heel especially turning heel like this, in this way in this fashion to win the World Heavyweight Championship but to align himself with such a slimeball like John Laurinatis, I really have to wonder what Kofi is thinking? First having to attack Kennedy like that with the briefcase and then showing his true colors turning his back on the WWE Universe that has supported him for Lord knows how many years and he goes ahead pulling a stunt like this because the Kofi we all know, he would do the right thing doing the honorable thing by cashing in without pulling any tricks, that is what I just don't get but Kofi his title reign it won't last, he better enjoy it while he still can because just like that the title could be taken from him
Kofi is Big Johnny's new guy, I wonder how much longer that will last? Because let's not forget Kennedy he was Johnny's guy and look at what happened, Johnny turned on Kennedy, so how soon before he does the same thing to Kofi?
Kaitlyn becoming the new WWE Divas Champion beating April Lee in what I thought was a great match especially for a divas match all be it that it was a short match but it was so back and forth throughout but it all ending in Kaitlyn winning her first WWE Divas Championship, she will make a great WWE Divas Champion that's for sure, while April Lee she is still entitled to her rematch clause but even so Kaitlyn has a lot of divas lined up who want their shot to face her for that title, so she better enjoy while it lasts
Love the video package before the main event, showing how we got to this Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Championship but at the same time The Phenom he is at a disadvantage if you ask me, having to defend against not 1, not 2, but 3 men, 25% odds of retaining his title
The Undertaker retaining his WWE Championship in the main event beating Sheamus, Punk and Orton in what was a great match if you ask me because at the same time no one especially me thought that Taker could retain but he found a way, that's for sure, but at the same time Sheamus had the match won if you ask me and was closing in on the title but Undertaker took full advantage but nevertheless when Punk had the title won, The Rock comes back and stops that from happening getting involved, what the hell, he can't do that, well here is hoping Punk gets even somehow
And the pay per view ending backstage with Rock and Punk getting into a brawl backstage ending with Punk leaving Rock laying saying he will see him at SummerSlam was great, definitely a great way to end the pay per view on a good note that's for sure
I definitely cannot wait until RAW 1000, because your RAW 1000 show is in July

As for The Undertaker, if you want The Mercenaries of Darkness to be as great as The Ministry were, then you need to have more members in your Mercenaries of Darkness stable that's for sure, because you can't have a 3-man stable with just Taker, Ambrose and Rhodes and expect them to succeed, they need at least 2 more members make it a 5-man stable at least, and then maybe just maybe this stable of The Undertaker's can be worthwhile
Another stable that would be worthy of being reborn is a New Horsemen stable with Flair as the manager being the JJ Dillon of the group, and Ziggler being the Ric Flair of the group in the sense that he would be the leader/main eventer of the group, Cesaro and Ohno would be the Arn Anderson and Ole Anderson of the group, and Jack Swagger would be the group's muscle like how Lex Luger was for the Horsemen, just have Swagger ditch Otunga
And then The New Horsemen are born (Ziggler, Cesaro, Ohno, and Swagger) with Flair managing them, it's perfect

Well, awesome show, glad to see The Rock make a huge return, but For Punk to come out and challenge Rock At Summerslam, huge deal with that, Punk vs Rock at Summerslam now it's potential, Ambrose with a huge victory over Jericho with help from Dolph Ziggler is great, Rhodes is now US champion, I can deal with that, it seems like the Mercenaries of Darkness will be dominant than ever, Bryan and Sandow as a tag team with the belts very surprised, Ryback I believe in my opinion got screwed by Kofi and Laurinatis, it was great to see Ryback win the belt, but for Kofi and Laurinatis getting Ryback was put to perfection, poor AJ lost the title, with her wicked cry and laugh makes me feel like we might see another member of the Mercenaries of Darkness, it could happen, it would be nice to see a diva join the Mercenaries of Darkness, if that were to happen, then I don't know who can stop them, Taker retaining the title was awesome, glad to see The Rock cost Punk the belt, great show man keep up the good work

PRO WRESTLING > WWE > TOP 3 SCENARIOS FOR THE ROCK AND CM PUNK...06/18/12
TOP 3 SCENARIOS FOR THE ROCK AND CM PUNK FOLLOWING THEIR FEUD BY A.J. MATHEWS Albeit The Rock and CM Punk having a feud together seems quite intriguing, it raises eyebrows in regards as to what will happen for the two afterward. The intentions of this writing piece is to analyze the top three potential scenarios for both The Rock and CM Punk following their feud and/or match at Summerslam.
1. THE ROCK --- THE DREAM FEUD WITH JOHN CENA Of course we are going to start off with what has been talked about for years and years - a feud between The Rock and John Cena. At the time of The Rock showing up back around WrestleMania season, it wasn't so obvious he wouldn't be involved at WrestleMania. A lot of rumors were being speculated that he would cost CM Punk his match against Stone Cold Steve Austin or even come out of nowhere to cost John Cena his match against The Undertaker. Neither happened, of course, but the latter (albeit an unfitting ending for a match that brought the Dead Man to 20-0) was both loved and loathed by the fans. The idea of a feud between The Rock and John Cena - two of the top faces in WWE history - has always been desired, and could end up coming after the big match at Summerslam. Cena, however, would have to finish things with Undertaker.
2. CM PUNK --- THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP A lot of people keep forgetting that Punk has never held the WWE Championship. He has been the World Heavyweight Champion, but even then hasn't held that belt in over two years. With CM Punk obviously emerging as one of the top superstars in the WWE over the past year with his brutal feuds with the likes of Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin and now The Rock. What better way to top all the hard work off than with Punk winning the WWE Championship?
3. THE ROCK --- LEAVING WWE PROGRAMMING... AGAIN As much as we all, well, at least most of us, would like to see The Rock as a regular in the WWE again, it just won't happen. The WWE Universe should be grateful to even have him on at all. The Rock is a big time movie star (whether you think he is a good actor or not is a different story) and is getting more and more roles as time goes on. Now, don't take this as The Rock being gone for good, him showing up for a feud with CM Punk is indication enough that he plans on doing some stuff in the near future.
4. CM PUNK --- LEAVING WWE PROGRAMMING... WAIT, WHAT? Now, before I get a bunch of my readers turned off and scrolling down the page - bear with me on this one. CM Punk has been one of the only members of the active roster to have appeared at least once every single week on WWE programming ever since he won the World Heavyweight Championship back in 2009. He has been a workhorse, and even though you wouldn't think so by looking at him - is actually not too young. Age 33 may not be considered old to most, but to be throwing your body around over and over again and not being at the shorter branches in terms of career span, you need time off. Even the face of the company in John Cena has taken time off numerous times (as we have just seen for the past couple of months) and he isn't much older than Punk.
5. THE ROCK --- A SURVIVOR SERIES BATTLE The CM Punk and Rock feud may or may not be something that goes past Summerslam. I think it really depends upon who ends up winning the match at the biggest party of the summer. However, a scenario could come where the two continue into Survivor Series (and possibly to a rematch at TLC, Royal Rumble) where they end up having a classic five-on-five battle.
6. CM PUNK --- A DRASTIC FACE TURN As much as I love the heel character that CM Punk has been portraying since last fall, it can only last for so long where the fans continue to show him some hatred. As we have seen in the past few months, Punk has had to try and go to more drastic measures to get the WWE Universe to boo him. Of course, he has been met with mixed reaction everywhere he goes and the cheers seem to progressively continue to take over. Again, we'd love to keep Punk in the character he is - but something has to give when you got most of the WWE Universe chanting your name and you're supposed to be 'the bad guy'.

Out of these scenarios, the 6 scenarios for a Rock/Punk feud, the only ones I like here are #1, the dream feud with John Cena because in my opinion Cena/Rock needs to happen way more than Rock/Punk in my opinion because Cena and Rock are the 2 biggest faces of their generations and not to mention 2 of the most popular but 2 of the most infamous as well and it would just be so epic on so many levels
And the other scenario I like are: CM Punk taking a much needed sabbatical in the sense that CM Punk should take time off by leaving for at least a few months and then making a dramatic, triumphant return with CM Punk taking off now in July and not coming back until at least November, Survivor Series time where he can then make his return
But CM Punk if he were to become World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk he could restore prestige to that title, prestige that the big gold belt so desperately needs and with Punk holding the big gold belt being champion the World Heavyweight Championship then would be back on the same level of prestige that the WWE Championship is on especially if Punk were to have a lengthy title run with it

However a Team Rock vs Team Punk Traditional 5 on 5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match would be great, but who would represent Team Rock because we know Rock would be the obvious captain of his team just like how we know Punk would be the obvious captain of his team
Can you finally bring back The Beast Incarnate, The Next Big Thing Brock Lesnar, have Lesnar make his long-awaited return to WWE, with Lesnar back in a WWE ring, Lesnar could have so many feuds like feuding with Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Punk, Rock, Ryback, Kane, Kennedy, HHH, The Undertaker, etc.

JUNE 18 - JULY 14 REVIEW
Mercenaries of Darkness and John Cena, Sheamus and Randy Orton: Following the victories by Undertaker, Dean Ambrose, and Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions - the trio had a dark ceremony the following night on Raw. The ceremony, however, was crashed by the returning John Cena. After coming down to the front of the ring, however, Randy Orton and Sheamus would come down from the crowd and surround the ring and attack the Mercenaries of Darkness along with Cena. On the following episode of Smackdown, John Cena said that he was going to wait for his rematch for the WWE Championship and that he wanted to get rid of Rhodes and Ambrose first. After being beaten down by the two, Orton and Sheamus would once again come to Cena's aid. Commissioner Laurinaitis would go on to announce on the June 25th edition of Raw that a six man tag team match would take place at The Great American Bash between the Mercenaries of Darkness and John Cena, Sheamus and Randy Orton.
CM Punk and The Rock: On the June 18th edition of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk came down to the ring and talked about how he laid "Dwayne" out the previous night. In the weeks leading up to The Great American Bash, CM Punk would play games with the crowd by having The Rock's music hit, coming out pretending to be The Rock and trash talking every single bit of Rock's career and how his was better. On the July 9th edition of Raw, Mr. McMahon made a one time appearance to make the announcement that he had agreed to the match at Summerslam between The Rock and CM Punk, but a contract signing would have to take place first at The Great American Bash. CM Punk would come down to the ring and talk about how the business was failing but it had been uplifted by Vince "being smart for once in his life" and making the match for Summerslam happen. After some retaliation from McMahon, Punk went to attack him only for The Rock to come down to the ring surprisingly and chase him out after failing to execute on hitting the Rock Bottom.
Kofi Kingston and Ryback: On the Raw following Night of Champions, it was announced that Mr. Kennedy's knee injury had worsened following his match the night before and the actions of Kofi Kingston. The new World Heavyweight Champion and John Laurinaitis would come down to the ring and explain that the time for Kennedy was up and the new 'face of the business' and 'John Laurinaitis Guy' would be Kingston. Ryback would respond by coming down to the ring and going after both men, only to be laid out with a steel chair by Kingston. In the weeks leading up to GAB, Laurinaitis would deny Ryback an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship until Ryback caught him alone in his office, locking him inside and threatening him until the match was made for GAB between him and Kofi.
Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler: On the June 18th episode of Monday Night Raw, Chris Jericho would win a match against Wade Barrett. Afterward, Dolph Ziggler would come out to the ramp along with his manager, Ric Flair, to rub in him costing Y2J his match against Dean Ambrose the night before. In response, Jericho would challenge Dolph to a match on Smackdown. That Thursday, however, Ziggler would intentionally get himself disqualified after getting into some trouble. The week after, however, Jericho told Dolph that he would beat anyone he threw at him and if he was victorious, he would get a match of his choice at The Great American Bash against him. Dolph accepted the challenge and put Alberto Del Rio as Jericho's challenger. After a competitive match and some failed interference from Ziggler, Jericho would be victorious and claim to Ziggler he could beat him twice in one night, as he managed to defeat both The Rock and Stone Cold in one night and decided to make the match at GAB a two out of three falls match.
Kaitlyn and April Lee: After April Lee's loss of the Diva's Championship to Kaitlyn at Night of Champions, she would go on to attack Kaitlyn repeatedly in the weeks following until Kaitlyn herself would offer April a rematch at The Great American Bash, to which April would respond by telling Kaitlyn she was the crazy one for putting up that challenge.
Seth Rollins and The Miz: Commissioner John Laurinaitis announced a new superstar in Seth Rollins on the June 28th edition of Smackdown, and he would go on to win his first match against Santino Marella. The following week on Raw, he would win another match against John Morrison. For the July 5th episode of Smackdown, The Miz would host MizTV and have his guest be Seth Rollins. After not being able to get answers from Rollins to his questions, Miz would stand up only to be laid out with a superkick. Rollins would take the microphone and say that nobody likes The Miz, and Seth Rollins is the change the WWE has been looking for. A match would be made between the two for The Great American Bash.
Damien Sandow/Bryan Danielson and Sin Cara/Rey Mysterio: On the June 25th edition of Raw, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio defeated The Kings of Wrestling to become the number one contenders for the Tag Team Championships. In the following weeks up to Great American Bash, the two teams would do battle with the KOW showing up each time and watching from afar.
Mark Henry: After the unknown promo video at Night of Champions, it would continue to be played on Raw and Smackdown before finally coming out with the announcement that it was indeed Mark Henry on the June 25th episode of Raw. The promo would also say he would be returning at The Great American Bash. It would also be announced he would be having an open challenge.

Okay The Bash is building up so far but how about RAW 1000, if anything I thought at least that you would have at least talked about RAW 1000 and build up RAW 1000 to be a special occasion at least with legends and or returning superstars returning, but you didn't even do that at all pretty much ignoring RAW 1000 that is a bad move on your part, really bad move but nevertheless you made up for it with The Bash

PRO WRESTLING > WWE > LATEST WWE NEWS...07/15/12
LATEST WWE NEWS: SUMMERSLAM POSTER REVEALED, SEPTEMBER PPV, RAW 1000, MARK HENRY, WWE WORKING ON DEAL WITH FORMER STAR BY A.J. MATHEWS Here is the latest WWE News right before The Great American Bash. SUMMERSLAM POSTER REVEALED It shouldn't come as a surprise at all to see The Rock on the Summerslam poster with him having his big match with CM Punk:
SEPTEMBER PAY-PER-VIEW ANNOUNCED The WWE will be bringing in a brand new pay-per-view for September after the move of Night of Champions to June. The new pay-per-view will be called 'Payback'. Here is an updated look at the WWE PPV schedule following the announcement:
July 15, 2012 --- The Great American Bash August 19, 2012 --- Summerslam September 16, 2012 --- Payback October 28, 2012 --- Bragging Rights November 18, 2012 --- Survivor Series December 16, 2012 --- TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs January 27, 2012 --- Royal Rumble February 17, 2012 --- No Way Out April 7, 2012 --- WrestleMania 29
RAW 1000 - WHAT WE WILL SEE According to sources, here are some key things we can expect from the 1000th episode of Raw: CM Punk and The Rock are likely to have an encounter with each other in build up to their Summerslam match. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are scheduled to appear for D-Generation X; this will be Michaels' first appearance since retirement and Triple H's first since Over the Limit. Not to anyone's surprise, but there will be plenty of former WWE Superstars and there is a rumored possibility of a battle royal between these legends. There were talks about having Ric Flair be featured in a match despite his retirement storyline from 2008; this rumor, however, has no confirmation.
MARK HENRY'S RETURN As it has been known for the past month, Mark Henry will be making his return to the WWE at The Great American Bash. His opponent, however, is unknown. According to various sources there have many names tossed around as to who he could possibly face but it is in definite question with the top tier talent mostly booked. It is also expected Henry will be returning as a heel.
WWE WORKING ON A DEAL WITH FORMER STAR According to multiple sources, the WWE is currently working on a deal with a former star in the company. There is tons of speculation as to who it could possibly be, but no name has been confirmed yet. All that is known at this time is that private planes from the WWE have been coming into the headquarters in Connecticut over the past couple of weeks on multiple occasions.

Love that The Rock is going to be on the SummerSlam poster, because Rock being an A-list Hollywood actor but also being a WWE superstar, Rock by being at SummerSlam is a ratings machine and being in Los Angeles, all the stars will be there, it is the biggest party of the summer
Payback being the September pay per view makes sense
And I love that Henry is returning, glad The Hall of Pain is back and he can induct superstars into the Hall of Pain personally putting them on the shelf
And I really hope the former WWE star is Brock Lesnar, hoping praying that it is Brock Lesnar, if not Lesnar, then I really hope it is Batista but really really hope it is Lesnar with Heyman in tow

Flair being at RAW 1000 is understandable considering it was in 2008 where he had his send-off, his retirement but now that Flair is back on RAW and he is Ziggler's manager, here is hoping Flair and Shawn Michaels' paths cross once again since it was Shawn Michaels who retired Flair and I bet Flair is still bitter about that and if he is, then it is understandable, but I really hope Flair crosses paths with Triple H because of their history in Evolution but I wonder what the COO Triple H would think about Flair all of a sudden being buddies with Ziggler?
But here is hoping we see The New Horsemen being born with Flair as manager, Ziggler as leader, Cesaro and Ohno as the tag team of the New Horsemen and Swagger as the group's enforcer/muscle

PRE-SHOW: Alberto Del Rio defeats John Morrison via submission.
A promo video begins talking about the history of America and how it was founded. It advances to talk about how as time has moved on, sports entertainment was born and so was the WWE - and tonight, a bash will be thrown. The theme song of "Bring 'em Down" by Lostprophets hits, and the video advances on showing highlights of all of the top stars in tonight's event, highlighting first the history between Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho and their feud over the past few months over who was truly better, with their bit finishing with Jericho reminding Ziggler he beat both The Rock and Stone Cold in one night, therefore it will be no problem beating Ziggler twice at The Great American Bash. The video continues on with Kofi Kingston showing his true colors and aligning with Commissioner John Laurinaitis, but Ryback having a problem after they took his World Heavyweight Championship away just minutes after winning it at Night of Champions. Highlights of Ryback's domination but Kingston's constant cheap tactics and attacks keep getting under his skin. Ryback corners Laurinaitis and demands his rematch at The Great American Bash. Next, CM Punk and The Rock's feud over the year is highlighted all beginning around WrestleMania season with Punk laying the Hollywood Star out with a Go To Sleep. Tonight, the two sign the contract for their epic match at Summerslam. Finally, the video goes on to the return of John Cena to confront the Mercenaries of Darkness, only to have back up from Randy Orton and Sheamus - the trio being possibly the most formidable in the business to take down the destructive and dominant group led by WWE Champion, The Undertaker. Tonight, they battle in a six man elimination tag team match. The video goes black and we head right into the US Airways Center from Phoenix, Arizona - Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross welcoming everybody to the show as the pyrotechnics hit in red, white and blue across the stage. The commentary team discusses the big matches and events that are going down tonight, and include the return of Mark Henry - which we are anticipating any moment!
The theme music of Mark Henry hits and he comes out to the stage with the crowd giving a bit of a mixed reaction. He comes down to the ring and takes a microphone once he is inside. He stands still in the middle of the ring and looks all around the arena. He pulls the microphone up to his lips, "This is the moment y'all been waitin' for for the past month! The return of The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry!" He gives a nod and the fans start to break out into cheers but Henry shakes his head, "Keep on cheering me, go ahead! But it don't matter what you think about me, cause I'll run through your favorites, I'll run through your least favorites, and I'll do whatever it takes to get to the top of this company by inducting anybody I want into the Hall of Pain! Because that's what I do!" The fans cheers into a mix with boos coming in, and Henry points up the ramp, "Y'all in the back have had weeks to decide whether or not you want to go toe to toe with me, so whoever actually has a pair, come on out and get inducted into the Hall of Pain!" He throws the microphone down and breaths heavily, waiting. The crowd suddenly pops as the theme song of Edge hits! The Rated R Superstar comes out to the ramp and he goes across the stage, pumping his hands up and down as he is back over the broken collarbone! He comes down to the ring ready for the challenge. Singles MatchMark Henry vs EdgeThe bell rings and the two come to the middle of the ring, Henry leaning Edge over and clubbing him across the back repeatedly with his tree trunk arms. He forces Edge up into the corner by the hair and hits some more shots across the back and throws some into the ribcage, Henry tossing the Rated R Superstar down to the mat. He pounds on his chest and yells out to the crowd. He drags Edge back up onto his feet and continues the clubbing across the back, Edge slipping free suddenly. He gets back up onto his feet and throws shots across the back and goes for a big boot, only for Henry to catch a hold of it and flip him down to the mat, dragging him back under the ropes and then forcing him out onto the floor. The Rated R Superstar rolls around on the floor holding onto his back, Henry coming out and clubbing him once again. He takes Edge back up and tosses him face first into the steel post and then shoulder first into the announce table. The crowd fills up with boos but Henry shakes his head to them and gives a laugh over it, telling them to shut up. He forces Edge up once more and tosses him into the ring, once again lifting him up once in as well. Edge begins to fire with some shots back to the head and tosses a couple of forearms in the chin. He hits off of the ropes and returns with a clothesline, Henry barely moving. Edge goes back and does it twice more before jumping up for a DDT, Henry rushing him up into the corner and slamming his back down into it hard! Edge drops down to the mat and Henry goes for a pinfall, only to get a two count. He slowly rises back onto his feet and marches around slowly, raising his chin up to the crowd. He forces Edge back up by the hair and pummels him with forearms to the gut, tossing him up against the corner. He steps forward and raises his arm up high, swinging it down only for Edge to move out of the way. He fires away with shots to the head and flings off of the ropes, returning with a spear attempt only to be caught and yanked in the air, the Rated R Superstar swinging his body and reversing it into a DDT! He covers the World's Strongest Man but only gets a count of two. Edge swings himself onto the chest and pounds down with fists to the head and drags Henry to a sitting up position by the hair, kicking him straight in the face! He stays curled up in them and Edge charges at him with more fists to the head and he throws a clothesline out, wobbling him across the ropes some more. He backs off once again and heads off the ropes, returning for the spear once again only to be caught with a shoulder to the face! Edge backs off holding onto his jaw and stumbles back, getting crushed to the mat with the World's Strongest Slam! Henry hooks the far leg up for the three count.Winner of the match via pinfall, Mark Henry (9:29) ***The crowd roars with boos and Henry rises up to his feet slowly, pounding away at his chest and roaring out to the crowd. He stares out momentarily before turning back to Edge, kicking him out of the ring. He pounds on his chest again and looks out to the camera and shouts, "That's what I do!" We get a couple of replays of the vicious World's Strongest Slam to end the match and returning live, Henry stands at the middle of the ramp nodding his head to the crowd and giving some smack talk to some of the crowd that boos him on in the front row. The cameras cut backstage to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be the World Heavyweight Champion, Kofi Kingston, and Commissioner John Laurinaitis. He thanks them for their time and asks how they are approaching facing Ryback tonight without the surprise element of the Money in the Bank briefcase. The two look at each other and give a laugh, Kingston gripping a hold of the microphone. "That's a great question, Matt. That's a great, great, great question but... it's also rather stupid." He moves into Striker's face, "It sounds to me like you're saying I only beat Ryback at Night of Champions because of the Money in the Bank. It sounds like you don't think I can beat Ryback here tonight. What do you know? Huh?" He shoves him back and Laurinaitis pulls Kingston away, moving in front of him. He pulls Matt back in, "Kofi Kingston is the John Laurinaitis guy for a reason, Matthew. He will beat Ryback tonight and you can bank on that." The two nod to each other and walk off. They continue to pump the belts high up in the air, but before they can keep going on with the celebration Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno - the Kings of Wrestling - come down to the ring! They hop right in and jump the Tag Team Champions, beating them down with authority. Cara and Mysterio come back into the ring, however, and charge right at the KOW, forcing them to flee from the ring. The crowd cheers on as the duo back up the ramp, Cara and Mysterio helping their opponents from tonight back to their feet. They extend handshakes and the champions nod to each other, accepting the shake. They then turn their attention to the Kings of Wrestling, pointing at them and raising the belts up, indicating they are still the champions regardless of their assault. Jerry Lawler puts a bit of input in, and we get a replay from Night of Champions last month where Kingston was at ringside after promising Mr. Kennedy he was going to cash in on him if he had the chance. We cut to video footage from months back where The Rock tried to tell CM Punk about facing Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania, with the segment concluding with Punk nailing the WWE legend with the Go To Sleep for truly no reason. After The Rock made an appearance at Night of Champions, however, he would proceed to lay down the challenge for Punk to a match at Summerslam. Later on in the night, Punk would attack Rock in the parking lot and accept his challenge. Tonight, they sign the contract for their epic encounter next month.
Summerslam Contract Signing for CM Punk vs The Rock
In the ring stands Justin Roberts, and he introduces the chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment - Vince McMahon! The boss makes his way out to the ramp, strutting his usual way. He brings himself down to the ring and gets in, taking the microphone away from Roberts and motioning him out of the ring. He pulls the microphone up and smiles to the Phoenix crowd, "Tonight! We have the privilege of having The Rock in our presence!" The crowd roars and McMahon nods, "As well as his opponent for Summerslam - CM Punk!" The crowd follows up by roaring with boos instead. "Now, before that match at Summerslam can take place we are having this contract signing in front of each and every single one of you. So let me get things started by introducing first - CM Punk!" The crowd once more fills up the arena with their boos as Punk slowly brings himself out from the back, looking around the arena with a smug look. He spreads his arms out and spins around, backing down the ramp. He turns around at the bottom and shouts to Vince, "Best in the World!" He gets up intot he ring and ignores a handshake from the chairman, but instead brings himself to the second turnbuckle and observes the crowd. He then drops down and takes a seat at the table in the middle of the ring. McMahon nods and motions his hand up the ramp, "Ladies and gentlemen - The Rock!" The Phoenix fans erupt again as the theme song of the legend hits around the arena. He brings himself out from the back and imediately walks all the way across the stage, looking out to the crowd. He then turns his attention back to the ring and points right at Punk before stepping towards the ring. He hops onto the apron and climbs up the corner, looking out to the crowd. He slowly raises his fist up in signature fashion and the audience breaks into "Rocky" chants already as he drops down into the ring, walking right up to Vince. He stares at him before breaking a smile, shaking the hand of the commissioner and even giving him a hug. He looks out to the crowd as his theme song fades, the chants of "Rocky" continuing to go on and on. He takes a seat at the table.
Punk picks up his microphone and puts his hand out to Vince to stop him from talking. "Enough of the chanting for a poser of a WWE Superstar, folks. Vince, you need to understand something. You are making a hell of decision allowing this match between Dwayne and I. But you might want to get the point across to Dwayne here that I am not only going to be ruthless, I am going to be unforgiving. Meaning simply that I will walk into this ring at Summerslam, step up into his face and beat the holy living hell out of him. Then I will take a hold of him, toss him into that corner and do something he and even myself are very familiar with - stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry." The crowd boos for the reference as Punk laughs, spreading his arms out before pulling the microphone back in. "You might want to make sure that this contract right here has a liability that he will be paying his own medical bills so you and this company don't have to flush all your money away for one man's destroyed body."
Punk goes to say more but Rock throws his index finger up, giving a shush. "Who in the blue hell do you think you are? You do realize who you are talki--" Rock stops himself and looks around the arena. "How rude of me..." He stands up and smiles to the crowd, "FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK... TO PHOENIX!" He gives a wink to the camera and sits back down, allowing the crowd to keep on going. "You do realize you are talking to the People's Champion, right PMS Punk? You do realize that you are talking to The Rock, right? And not only do you realize that, you understand that, don't you? Na, na, na, na, na!" He wags his finger in Punk's face as he goes to respond, "You already gave your spew of monkey crap, now it is time for The Rock to say what he has to say. The Rock knows that you think that you are the best in the world, but these people... these people, Mr. Punk, don't agree with that one bit and that I can guarantee you. These people, however, these people... the millions!" He raises his head up and the crowd gives the expected response of 'and millions!', and Rock stares back at Punk, "And millions of The Rock's fan don't agree with that one bit and the one man - the one man - that they find to be the best in the world is the People's Champ, and if you want to know who that is you can look right across this table and into the eyes of the Brahma Bull. You can stare as deep as you want and you won't be able to see anybody being the People's Champ other than The Rock." He scoops up the contract from the table and takes his pen, flipping through the pages while staring at Punk. He stops at the final page and signs it at the bottom, getting up to his feet. He throws the contract down and goes to exit the ring.
"Now wait just a minute, Dwayne," The crowd boos louder than they had yet as Punk leans over the table, "I simply gave you and Vince here a warning. I haven't gotten down to the point of why I agreed to be here and have this contract signing. Not for the money that Vince has offered before myself, because I am sure he had to pay you ten times the amount he paid me just to show up to one show. Dwayne, you are scum to the Earth of this company. You are every single thing that I can't stand in this company. When I attacked Triple H the night after WrestleMania, it was because I had a personal issue with him. It had nothing to do with a lack of respect, because that is on a whole new level. I respect Hunter, I truly do." He looks to Vince and flashes a smile, McMahon just giving a stare in return. "At least he loves this company, Dwayne. At least he actually cared about these people - and I'll admit I could care less about them or what they think of me - but at least I could show some respect for that guy. Unlike you, Dwayne, who plays these people like a fiddle and blow it up their asses that you actually care." Vince tries to cut him off but Punk snaps right back at him, "You shut your mouth, old man. Your biggest superstar is speaking. I'm just as big as The Rock because these people come to see me each and every week not because they like me, but because they want to know what I am going to do next. I am loyal. You, Dwayne, come down here once every so often and pretend." Punk takes the contract, flips through the pages and signs it. "I'm not fighting for these people, Dwayne. Like I said, you play them all you wan and they'll still support you and that is why they are stupid. I am going to do this match because I want to put you down and get you out of the spotlight you haven't earned and certainly do not deserve." He throws the pen down and gets onto his feet, staring right across the ring at The Rock. The legend nods to Punk and exits the ring, but Punk turns right to McMahon and kicks him in the back of the head just as he goes to thank them! The crowd goes into an uproar of boos and Punk pulls him up for the Go To Sleep, Rock sliding back into the ring. Punk drops Vince down and hops out of the ring, Rock checking on the chairman as he holds his head in pain. Punk comes back into the ring suddenly, however, and pulls Rock back up, kicking him in the stomach and nailing a Rock Bottom of his own right through the announce table! Just put it behind you and we'll be fine tonight. That match on Thursday? That didn't matter. What matters is tonight and us - as a team - beating the Mercenaries of Darkness." John throws some fists into the air and Sheamus puts his hand on John's shoulder to stop him. He looks him right in the eye, "I'm just warning ya, fella. I got your back. I don't know about Randy." He pats him on the back and heads out of the locker room, Cena giving a nod before continuing his warming up.
