Royal Rumble Review
Wow what a Royal Rumble, I can't believe it, your Royal Rumble finally lived up to its hype and definitely for me lived up to its billing that's for sure
Dolph Ziggler beating Sheamus again for the 2nd time in a row to retain his World Heavyweight Championship, I wonder if this means Ziggler will be headlining Mania as the champion? But between now and WrestleMania 29 Ziggler could still lose the World Heavyweight Championship because Ziggler has to defend his World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber so if Ziggler can somehow get by No Way Out then he will have earned my respect but until then he hasn't even though he beat Sheamus inside a Steel Cage, no that was luck, pure luck
Regal backstage getting ready for his WWE Intercontinental Championship match against Rollins, this is great, but if Regal wins the IC Title then he can't be IC Champion and Commissioner at the same time doing both things and I am glad that Vince reminded him of that backstage so which is more important to Regal being the IC Champion? Or becoming the permanent WWE Commissioner?
Rollins retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship yet again but this time beating a future WWE Hall of Famer in my opinion a first-ballot Hall of Famer for sure in Regal because Regal is perhaps one of the greatest wrestlers of all time to never be the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion even though Regal has done it all by being a multiple-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, a former WWE European Champion, former King of the Ring winning it in 2008, but Regal he looked really good in this match but Rollins was just that much better than Regal was and this just proves that Regal's career is pretty much over when you think about it and a passing of the torch just occured with the future that being Rollins living up to his hype and Rollins has just seemingly become better and better every title defense, and just who can beat Rollins for his WWE Intercontinental Championship?
Love the build-up here towards WrestleMania 29 and that you showcased the promo for Mania here but then showing Rock coming into the arena, this is Rock's first match since SummerSlam where he last faced off against Punk so to see him in the Rumble tonight it will definitely be a treat for sure
Layla coming up short against the WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, this match if anything was more or less my washroom break here, couldn't really care less about this one
John Cena retaining the WWE Championship in yet another title defense this time beating Ryback, I honestly thought that Ryback was going to win the title here especially considering he was manhandling Cena he pretty much dominated Cena throughout this match but still Cena finds a way to win yet again overcoming the odds yet again, why am I not surprised? But at the same time I wonder that if now that Ryback has come up short if we could be looking at a full-fledged heel turn full blown heel turn from Ryback? Because if it happens then all I can say is that Ryback turning heel is probably for the best
As for the Royal Rumble Match itself, I honestly thought The Rock was going to win it here but he didn't, CM Punk wins the 2013 Royal Rumble Match becoming only the 3rd man in WWE history to win the Royal Rumble Match from the #1 position doing it as the #1 entrant, CM Punk lasting 58 minutes and 37 seconds 2 minutes short of an hour almost enduring an hour of hell but I have to give the devil his due here, Punk got the job done and now Punk has done it all in his career winning Money in the Bank not once but twice, former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, former IC Champion, former Tag Team Champion, former ECW Champion and now a Royal Rumble winner, Punk is a Triple Crown winner now, but more importantly CM Punk is going to WrestleMania 29 in the main event
Finally Brock Lesnar makes his return his long-awaited return to WWE and Brock returning with his agent Paul Heyman, I love it, Brock and Heyman are both back in the WWE and Brock eliminating Rock is great because it sets up Brock Lesnar vs The Rock at WrestleMania 29 which means Cena/Rock is not happening which is even better but at the same time Brock vs Rock is just meant to be
But here is hoping Mr. Kennedy makes his return too finally and also The Undertaker too making his return

But what I don't get is why Brock Lesnar would eliminate himself especially when he could have won the Rumble and Brock was that dominant and all the superstars staying away from him he could've and probably would have destroyed all of them but Brock being a "Paul Heyman Guy" being in there with another "Paul Heyman Guy" in CM Punk it would make sense but at the same time I just love that The Beast Incarnate is back but even more so that Paul Heyman is back
And for WrestleMania 30 I wonder if you will host it in New Orleans like in real life? Or if you will host it elsewhere?
But then No Way Out you have the RAW Elimination Chamber and the Smackdown Elimination Chamber matches to determine who headlines WrestleMania 29, and here is hoping we have qualifying matches for those

A REVIEW OF CM PUNK'S BIG (AND LOSING) YEAR by A.J. Mathews 1/28/13
With CM Punk winning the 2013 Royal Rumble match, it came as either a surprise or rather obvious to the wrestling community. With the past year really being a big step up in the WWE, CM Punk has been in some of the biggest matches, and has had some of the biggest losses in the process. Now, however, Punk is the Royal Rumble winner. This article will take a look back on Punk's biggest moments of the past year leading up to his big win on Sunday that could turn things around in his career for the good. Or, maybe not?
CM Punk grows a grin across his face as The Rock enters at number two. (Royal Rumble 2013, credit to WWE.com)
FACING STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN AT WRESTLEMANIA Practically exactly a year ago, the night after Royal Rumble, CM Punk would confront the visiting Stone Cold Steve Austin (whom was making the announcement that Shawn Michaels would be going into the Hall of Fame) and after trading words back and forth as these two classicly would, Punk would attack Austin viciously and leave him laid out beside the ring. After two months of build up to this dream match, Punk and Austin would face off at WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas at Cowboy Stadium in the main event. Although Punk would put up a great fight, the legend in Austin would be victorious in his one time match.
FINISHING THINGS OFF WITH TRIPLE H Following the loss to Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania, CM Punk would attack Triple H by orders of then-commissioner John Laurinaitis the night after instead of having The Game fired. At first, Punk would go on telling everybody that the only reason he had done it is because he had already gotten rid of Hunter and was angry that he had found a loophole to stick around just because he is the boss' son-in-law. However, after a win at Extreme Rules things would get personal after Punk would retaliate to an attack by Triple H by targeting his family. In a vicious ironman match at Over the Limit, however, Triple H would come out on top to finish the feud.
CHALLENGING FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP AT N.O.C. With a loss to Stone Cold at WrestleMania and a loss to Triple H at Over the Limit, things seemed to be going south. However, at Night of Champions CM Punk would enter a fatal four way match for the WWE Championship against then-champion Undertaker, Sheamus and Randy Orton in search of his first time holding the WWE Championship belt (yes, he still hasn't been WWE Champion). However, an encounter between Punk and The Rock (months after Punk had laid out the legend) would cost him in the main event when The Rock would come down and chase him towards the back out of anger from their meeting earlier in the night.
BATTLING THE ROCK AT SUMMERSLAM With another dream mach set up between Punk and The Rock for Summerslam, the two would have a contract signing at The Great American Bash which, as all contract signings usually do, would go south after Punk attacked Vince McMahon and then The Rock. At Summerslam, however, Punk would once again put up a valiant fight only to end up losing to the Brahma Bull.
RENEWED RIVALRY WITH ROB VAN DAM, BRYAN DANIELSON Following a loss at Money in the Bank in the WWE Championship Money in the Bank contest, Punk would target former heated rival Rob Van Dam. After a loss at Payback and being on the losing side at Survivor Series, Punk would get involved with both RVD and World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank holder, Bryan Danielson, leading to a triple threat ladder match for the briefcase at TLC: Tables, Laddders and Chairs. Danielson would retain the case, and Punk's big year would still be a downer.
2013 ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER Following a 2012 with many big matches and many big losses, CM Punk finally came full circle at the 2013 Royal Rumble last night. He entered at number one and with entering number one comes either the worst of fortunes (lasting long, but losing) or the best (winning the whole thing). When The Rock came out as number two, the crowd was electrified - albeit, knowing he was a participant in the match for a few months. Both men would last to number thirty, but The ock would be on the bad side of things after Brock Lesnar's return to take him out. With that, the odds of Punk winning became even greater and he would go on to eliminate Dean Ambrose and Cody Rhodes to end the match. Now the question is left to be answered:
Can Punk have a big year again, and can it be on the positive side this time? |

CM Punk I see him having a big year and that 2013 will be the year of Punk seeing as how he won the 2013 Royal Rumble Match as the #1 entrant being the first man in and the last man standing outlasting 29 other superstars including The Rock and now Punk is headed to WrestleMania 29 in the main event but there's the issue of Punk's WrestleMania decision and just which champion he will decide to face at WrestleMania 29 in the main event? Okay you have your champions the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler who is a RAW guy if I am not mistaken and then you have the WWE Champion John Cena who is a Smackdown guy if I am not mistaken? So what brand will Punk choose? Which champion will he choose? And not to mention you have Bryan Danielson the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner and Danielson still hasn't cashed in his briefcase but between now and WrestleMania 29 Danielson could cash in his Money in the Bank which would mean he would headline WrestleMania 29 in the main event and considering Danielson has main evented WrestleMania before main eventing at WrestleMania 27 where he faced Cena in the main event Danielson if he cashes in to become champion he would be for sure in the main event as champion and if Punk were to choose him then you would have Danielson vs Punk at Mania, but you could also have Punk vs Cena at Mania or even Punk vs Ziggler, so many scenarios

January 28, 2013 from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, NevadaA promo video opens up the show with highlights of Royal Rumble the night before. The video begins with John Cena retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback, Dolph Ziggler retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus, Brock Lesnar returning along with Paul Heyman in the Royal Rumble match to attack The Rock and finally CM Punk winning the Royal Rumble match.
The cameras go into the arena and the crowd is scanned over slowly, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcoming everybody to the show. Tonight we will hear from Mr. McMahon about who will be the new, permanent commissioner as well as Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman about why they returned and why The Rock was targeted. Lastly, we will be hearing from the Royal Rumble winner, CM Punk.
Justin Roberts stands in the middle of the ring and introduces the chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon! The crowd pops loudly as the boss comes out to the stage, throwing his arms out to each side of the arena and letting them get their cheering in. He struts down to the ring in his signature fashion and gets in, giving a smile as he takes the microphone from Roberts. He nods and looks out to the crowd, "Welcome everybody, to Monday Night Raw!" The crowd once again cheers as McMahon continues on, "First of all I would like to congratulate CM Punk on winning the Royal Rumble match this year..." The fans give a mixed reaction to the reminder. McMahon nods off to the side and keeps on speaking. "As you all know, tonight I am here to name a new commissioner here and let me be the first to inform those that do not know, William Regal will not be eligible to retain his position due to losing his match last night. However, I have spent weeks and weeks interviewing current and former superstars and members of the WWE family and I have come to a decision to which I will be announcing here tonight!" The crowd continues to cheer, prepared to hear who will be taking over the duties as commissioner. McMahon speaks more of how there have been many changes of power in the history of this company and that it has been a tough decision on who would grab the reigns as of tonight. "However, after much deliberation the decision has been made to make the new commissioner of the WWE!" He points up the ramp and the crowd rises to their feet as Stephanie McMahon comes out.
The boss' daughter brings herself down the ramp and to the ring, getting in next to her father. She smiles and hugs Vince, taking the microphone from his hand and looking out to the crowd. "Well, well, well it is good to be back and as your commissioner, ladies and gentlemen and, well, first of all I'd like to make my first decision! Tonight, we will have ourselves a rematch for the WWE Championship between John Cena and Ryback!" The fans pop at the first move by Stephanie in charge, and she continues on. "Also, tonight, I will let you - the WWE Universe - decide who will face World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match, and that match will be up next! So get your voting on Twitter ladies and gentlemen, here are your choices!" She motions up to the titantron with the options being between Rob Van Dam, The Miz and Evan Bourne. The decision will be announced after the break.
Returning from commercial, Stephanie McMahon stands atop the ramp and World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to the ramp and down to the ring. He jogs in place and stares up the ramp, Stephanie waiting for the announcement of who Ziggler's opponent will be. The results come up and Rob Van Dam wins with a whopping 78%. Ziggler just stares up at Stephanie, whom wishes him luck as "Mr. Monday Night" makes his way from the back, ready for action. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler defeats Rob Van Dam via pinfall The match starts off with fast paced back and forth action with RVD using his fast feet and Ziggler using his quick and technical style to clash back against the veteran. RVD gets a string of momentum late and delivers the Rolling Thunder, but the match comes to an end after a missed Five Star Frog Splash leads to quick capitalization by the World Champion with the Zig Zag and pinfall.
The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, brings himself out to the ramp following the victory. He stares down Ziggler, whom keeps the World Heavyweight Championship close to his chest. He then gives a small grin to the man he defeated last night, raising the belt up high.
Returning, Stephanie McMahon is having things set up in her office. She turns to see William Regal coming into the office and he shakes Stephanie's hand and congratulates her on the job. She thanks him and Regal goes to leave only for Stephanie to take him by the arm, "William, William, William. I'd first like to tell you from the bottom of my heart that I think you did a very good job as the Commissioner. And as accommodation I'd like to give you another opportunity to face Seth Rollins this Thursday on Smackdown for the Intercontinental Championship. So what do you say?" He thanks her for the opportunity and accepts before exiting the office.
Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Maryse defeat Layla, Kelly Kelly and Aksana with Kaitlyn via pinfall The champion's side works away at Aksana early on with their frequent tags, but get a run for their money by Layla and Kelly Kelly. Phoenix, however, gets to do the same thing she did the night before with Kaitlyn being taken out with her broken ankle, leading to the distraction on Layla and the Glam Slam, ultimately resulting in the pinfall.
Phoenix is re-joined by Natalya and Maryse in the middle of the ring standing over Layla as Kelly Kelly, Aksana, the referee and medical staff remain on the outside checking down on Kaitlyn and her broken ankle being attacked once again. A graphic is shown with the image from last night of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman standing over The Rock through the announce table. Lesnar and Heyman will be here next to address their return and motive to target The Rock.
We return in Las Vegas with the crowd being scanned over slowly. The signature beginning of Brock Lesnar's theme song hits and the crowd uproars with more boos than cheers as Lesnar makes his way out to the ramp with a cocky grin across his face. Paul Heyman soon omes out behind him with an even bigger smile, leading to even more boos than Lesnar got. He waves his hand out and brings Lesnar down to the ring, the big man leaping onto the apron and pulling on the ropes, pyros hitting at all corners. He gets into the ring and stands right in the middle, Heyman soon following in after him and retrieving a microphone from ringside.
"Ladies and gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman..." The crowd boos heavily at the obvious statement as Heyman puts the microphone down to his side and gives a smile to his client next to him, "Last night my client and I made our triumphant return to the WWE and as soon as we came out to that stage I saw fear in the eyes of every single superstar in this ring, but not only them, but each and every single one of you. When my client got into that ring, however, I saw more fear in anybody in the entire arena in the eyes and face of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Each and every single one of you people knew for a long time now that he would be coming to this ring at the Royal Rumble, but you did not know that this man, my client - Brock Lesnar - or myself would be there!" He gives a loud chuckle and the crowd breaks out into very, very loud 'You Suck!' chants. Heyman pats Brock on the back and says something in his ear.
"Now, ladies and gentlemen, let me answer your question as to why myself and my client had targeted Dwayne Johnson last night. As you may recall, Brock had a rivalry with that man a little over ten years ago and he defeated him for the WWE Championship. I was sitting at home one night last July and my client called me to tell me about how Dwayne had been given a match at Summerslam, which he would end up main eventing. My client told me that he wasn't happy seeing a man he is much better than given all of this attention and praise and being treated as if nobody were better. Luckily for Dwayne I held my client back, but once I was informed that he would be a participant in the Royal Rumble match this year, it started to get under my skin as well. Myself and my client Brock Lesnar decided that each and every one of you naive, foolish members of the WWE Universe needed a refresher that there is at least one man in this world who is much better than your hero Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and last night we did just that." The fans continue to boo the pair as Heyman informs everybody that they were done. Just as the two go to the ropes, however, the signature 'If Ya Smell!' hits across the arena, leading to a ginormous pop from the Nevada crowd as The Rock storms out from the back and towards the ring!
Rock hops into the ring and is caught by the neck by Lesnar and he brings him back towards the corner, clubbing across the back ferociously. He throws a couple of knees and tosses Rock through the ropes and to the floor. He steps out after him and brings Rock up by the neck, throwing him shoulder first into the steel steps. Heyman moves over to Lesnar and orders him to 'Hurt Him!', Brock quickly bringing the legend up once again. He lifts him up off the mat and drives him spine first into the steel post. The crowd continues to 'ooh' with every bit of impact, Lesnar beginning to back off as multiple officials come to ringside. Heyman shakes his head in disapproval and Lesnar storms right back in, bringing Rock up and throwing him across the announce table and into the laps of Cole and Lawler. Rock struggles to get back up and Lesnar leaps over the table, bringing Rock down to the floor against the barricade. He throws multiple knees into the ribs and gut and pounds across the face as well. He finally brings Rock up and hits him with the F5 into the steel post mid-section first! Heyman finally tells his client that it is enough and the officials check back down on Rock. Medical staff proceeds to come down as well as Heyman and Lesnar make their way around the ring and up the ramp, satisfied with their destruction.
Returning to the show at ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler discuss what just went down before the break with Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and The Rock. A couple of replays air from the vicious attack by Lesnar, finishing off with the F5 into the steel post that required medical attention for Rock. The commentary team informs everyone that the medical team is checking for broken ribs right now.
Bryan Danielson defeats United States Champion Alberto Del Rio via submission The match goes back and forth on the mat with a technical battle early on, but Danielson uses his much faster speed to take advantage of things. He gets a couple of near falls on Del Rio throughout the match and brings an end to things after slipping out of the Rolling Cross Armbar, hit a huge kick to the back of the head and bring him down into the Yes! Lock, forcing a tap out from Del Rio.
The World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank holder is given his briefcase and he takes a microphone from ringside as well. He looks around to the Las Vegas crowd and gives a smile, "Only one word can answer the question: Will Bryan Danielson become the World Heavyweight Champion when he cashes it in? Yes!" The fans break out into the chant along with Bryan.
We return to a video for the WWE Be A Star program, featuring the likes of John Cena, The Miz and Bryan Danielson meeting with younger kids within a community about not being a bully, but being a star.
Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeat WWE Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling via count-out In response to the encounter between the brothers and the tag team champions the night before, the Rhodes duo are given an opportunity to team up for one night in a non-title match. Rhodes is dominated early on by Ohno and Cesaro with frequent tags and is beat down ferociously. Rhodes makes a tag to Goldust, however, and he ends up swaying the momentum his way. He ends up with the Shattered Dreams set up on Cesaro, but Ohno pulls his partner out of the ring and allows the referee to get to a count of ten.
Rhodes and Goldust remain in the ring disappointed as the crowd boos, but Justin Roberts announces them the winner and the Vegas crowd cheers on the brothers as they raise each other's arms up, despite it being a count out victory.
Returning from the break, the cameras show a darkened room backstage. A shadow can be seen in the small light in the distance and Dean Ambrose's face comes into the scene. "Three. The final three of the Royal Rumble match and did I come up short? Yeah, maybe I did but that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because I am danger, I drive fear into the heart and souls of everyone that gets in my way and I do not stop. I do not stop until I get what I have earned. I am the Mercenary of Darkness, I am Dean Ambrose..." He breaths heavily, licks his lips and rubs his hand through his hair. "I am Dean Ambrose... Fear..." He yells in rage and shoves the camera away.
The cameras return at ringside where the commentary team looks bewildered by what just happened with Dean Ambrose. Cole moves on and reminds everyone how tonight we had a new Commissioner named and it was Stephanie McMahon. The footage from earlier is shown with Stephanie being officially announced at the position, as well as her first decisions to set up a match for Dolph Ziggler and the WWE Championship rematch later on between John Cena and Ryback. Also, tonight, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman explained their actions at Royal Rumble and Lesnar ended up assaulting The Rock. Cole reports that their is a medical update and that The Rock has suffered two broken ribs from the assault earlier on.
Randy Orton defeats Christian via pinfall The match starts off with Orton completely dominating things and throwing Christian around the ring like a rag doll. Captain Charisma manages to put up a fight however, and even ends up getting a near fall following a spear in homage to Edge that sends The Viper rolling out of the ring. A commercial break intercepts the match, and things come to an end as Christian prepares for the Killswitch after another surge of momentum only for Orton manages to shove him forward and drop him with a vicious RKO, leading to the pinfall.
Orton stands over the body of Christian and drags him back up, looking around to the booing crowd. He drops him down with yet another RKO and the referee comes in the way to try and stop The Viper from doing any more harm to Christian. Orton slowly backs off to the ropes and shakes his head in frustration, storming back up to the referee and throwing him aside. He takes Christian back up to his feet once more, and hits the RKO harder than the previous two times. He finally gets up to his feet and out of the ring, pulling at his head and shaking a bit. He moves his way up the ramp, growing a slight grin across his face as Christian remains laid out in the ring.
Randy Orton storms backstage and is stopped by Matt Striker, looking for a word on why he attacked Christian like he did. Orton snaps his neck around and stares right at Striker, licking at his lips in psychotic fashion. "I keep hearing over and over again many men claim that they are the most dangerous in this business, but the fact of the matter is I am very, very dangerous and I will stop at nothing to show everybody what I am capable of and why I should be the WWE Champion. I should have won the Royal Rumble last night and I would have! I would have if I wasn't ganged up on, but you know why I was ganged up on by just about everybody in that ring last night, Matt? Because of how dangerous I really am." He stares Striker down while breathing heavily before storming off.
Mark Henry defeats Zack Ryder via pinfall The match begins with a valiant effort from Ryder trying to rattle Henry, but the World's Strongest Man just grabs him by the throat and throws him against the corner, using all of his strength to beat down 'Long Island Iced Z'. The crowd tries to get behind Zack, but he can't get anything going and is finished off with the World's Strongest Slam and a pinfall.
Henry rises onto his feet and stands over Ryder, not showing much emotion. Instead, he places his foot on the chest and raises both fists in the air. As he does so, however, the theme music of Big Show hits and the audience pops as the World's Largest Athlete comes out from the back to target his recent rival in the World's Strongest Man. He comes down to the ring and steps in, moving right up to Henry. He balls up his fist and goes for the Knockout Punch, Henry managing to duck under it and move off to the ropes quickly, getting out of the ring. The crowd boos as once again Henry has managed to avoid an encounter with Big Show.
The cameras move backstage to show Ryback walking backstage. A graphic follows up, reminding everyone of the main event between John Cena and Ryback for the WWE Championship in a rematch from last night, coming up next.
John Cena defeats Ryback via pinfall to retain the WWE Championship The match begins similar to Royal Rumble, with Ryback manhandling Cena early on. The champion fights back hard, however, and even manages to hit the Attitude Adjustment and get a two count. A commercial break is forced in the middle of the match, with Ryback controlling throughout that time. He goes for Shell Shocked but fails to connect as Cena slips free before hitting the inverted suplex and Five Knuckle Shuffle. He attempts the AA once again but Ryback slips free, hitting the Meat Hook clothesline. He gets a very close count and begins to get very frustrated. He drags Cena up and throws him around the ring, but doesn't do severe damage, leading to Cena's sudden rise and delivering of the Attitude Adjustment in the middle of the ring and the pinfall victory.
Cena gets right back up onto his feet and pumps his signature taunt up to the mixed reaction of the crowd. He turns back to the official and is awarded his WWE Championship back, as he has retained the belt for the second night in a row over Ryback. He climbs to the second turnbuckle nearest the stage and raises the belt up to the crowd. The cameras proceed to pan backstage to CM Punk in his street clothes, as the Royal Rumble winner will be speaking about his win last night - next!
Back from the break, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler inform everyone that new Commissioner Stephanie McMahon has made a match for this Thursday on Smackdown between Mark Henry and Big Show. The crowd is scanned over slowly afterward, followed up by a hard riff and "Cult of Personality", the crowd going into an uproar of a mixed reaction as CM Punk makes his way out to the ramp. He keeps his back turn and his arms spread out, and he slowly turns with a huge smile across his face. He comes down to the ring and walks around it, keeping his arms spread and speaking out to the crowd. He takes a microphone from ringside and heads into the ring.
Punk pats the microphone in his palm, and he looks out to the crowd chanting back and forth his name and 'CM Punk Sucks', leading to a bit of a laugh from the Straight Edge Superstar. "You people chanting that I suck think I actually give a damn about what you think about me? I don't give a damn what anybody thinks about me I am the best in the world and I don't need your opinions to prove it!" The boos fill up from those chanting against him and he looks up to the WrestleMania logo in the distance above the crowd, and he points to it. "You see that, everyone? You see that logo for WrestleMania? That is the event I will be in the main event of! I have been the biggest superstar in this company since January 30th last year when I attacked Stone Cold Steve Austin in this ring and right outside of it. Ever since then I faced Austin at WrestleMania, I faced for the WWE Championship, I went toe to toe with The Rock and I've done more in this past year than those twenty nine superstars I went up against last night from number one to thirty have done in their entire careers and yes, that includes Dwayne!" The WWE Universe continues giving more boos than cheers and Punk stares out. "I want to invite every member of the WWE locker room out here right now to that stage because I got something to say to every single one of them."
The locker room starts to slowly make their way out from the back and fill up the stage, Punk standing right in the middle of the ring awaiting them. Once the superstars and divas finish coming out, Punk brings the microphone back up, thanking them all for doing as he says. "I got you all coming out here for the one thing I have to say to you and that one thing may get under your skin, but at least I am an honest man. Many of you have talked behind my back and some of you had the balls to say it to my face that you didn't like me, or that you didn't believe I was the best in the world but of course, you were wrong. But the fact of the matter is that I won the Royal Rumble match last night and guess what!? None of you did!" The group atop the stage looks to each other in disgust over Punk, whom keeps on going. "Not you! Not you! Not you!" He points all across the stage and then the crowd, "Not any of you! I get to go to WrestleMania with a guaranteed championship match because I earned it. I worked harder last night than any of you have in your entire career! So in the words of D-Generation X, if you're not down with that I got two words for ya!" He throws the microphone down and spreads his arms out with a huge smile. He begins to laugh, but many of the superstars step forward from the stage and talk things over before charging down to the ring with each other! Punk's eyes widen and he quickly hops out of the ring, going over the barricade just as the group of superstars stay in the ring, staring down the loud mouth CM Punk. He backs up through the crowd and spreads his arms out once again, "Best in the world, baby!" He leans his head down with the same smile as Monday Night Raw comes to an end.©2013 WWE, Inc. RAW Review
It seems RAW is back to episode format and I actually like that this format is back to be very honest
But at the same time I love Mr. McMahon making the announcement that the new Commissioner for the WWE is none other than his own daughter Triple H's wife Stephanie as the new Commissioner, I say that is a great choice because Stephanie is not only fair and impartial but she also has ran RAW in the past back when there was a General Manager and not to mention she has been GM of Smackdown too in the past so she has shown that she has great leadership skills so I am all for this choice
And Stephanie in her first act announces the main event, Cena vs Ryback for the WWE Championship, I definitely can't wait until the main event and also the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler in action against either RVD, Miz or Evan Bourne by way of fan voting, this should be interesting to see who the fans vote in to face Dolph
How did I know the fans would vote for RVD to face Ziggler? But nevertheless Ziggler vs RVD was a great match for the most part but I feel that this match should have gone on a little longer or at least that the match should have been more back and forth because these 2 I'm sure have great chemistry in the ring together and it should have been explored more in the sense that the match should have been longer but giving this match on TV this is like a PPV quality type match-up here so I was shocked that the match was shorter than it had been but Sheamus showing up right after the match, it seems their rivalry will continue which means these 2 are bound to face one another at No Way Out for the World Heavyweight Championship or Dolph is going to have to defend his World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber against 5 other guys
Stephanie making even more moves, Regal vs Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship this Thursday on Smackdown, I definitely can't wait to see Regal and Rollins go at it again
WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Maryse beating the team of Layla, Kelly Kelly and Aksana w/Kaitlyn in 6-diva tag team action, I love it but I wonder what this will mean for the divas division as a whole? I wonder who Beth will defend her title against next because she could defend her title against anyone and imagine if it's Natalya? Then what?
Lesnar and Heyman segment addressing The Rock, I can't wait
The whole Lesnar/Rock segment as a whole, I loved it because you explained the backstory behind Brock Lesnar's feud with The Rock because the last time Brock and Rock were ever in the ring together it was SummerSlam 2002, so it has been 11 years since the last time these 2 were ever face to face nose to nose in a match but it seems Brock is jealous of Rock's success or at least that is how I see it but at the same time Brock has been every bit successful as The Rock has been and not to mention in 2002 Brock Lesnar became the youngest-ever WWE Champion in history becoming the WWE Undisputed Champion beating The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 because Rock was on his way out and going to Hollywood then but now fast forward 11 years later in 2013, Brock destroys Rock twice in 2 nights, if this doesn't lead to Brock/Rock II then I don't know what will to be honest
Danielson beating Del Rio, Danielson has been beating superstar after superstar going on a huge winning streak ever since winning that World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase that it still amazes me that he still hasn't cashed in his briefcase yet but for Del Rio he's just fallen off ever since becoming WWE United States Champion so I wonder what is next for Del Rio?
Cody & Goldust The Rhodes Brothers as a tag team, this is definitely interesting to say the least, Goldust and his brother Cody as a tag team because they would make one hell of a team and not to mention I wonder what their father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes thinks about his sons teaming together? But nevertheless The Rhodes Brothers beating the WWE Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling Ohno & Cesaro all be it by count-out this just means that Cody & Dustin/Goldust will end up getting a title match and if they do then we could end up seeing new WWE Tag Team Champions
I hope The Rock is okay and that he is ready to go because I see Brock vs Rock happening either at No Way Out or at WrestleMania 29, preferably WrestleMania 29 so, that's more than enough time for Rock to heal
Dean Ambrose's promo, definitely chilling, it seems he is The Mercenary of Darkness and if there is anyone anyone who could replace The Undertaker in terms of the supernatural, for anyone who could replace The Undertaker by being in his spot it is definitely Ambrose that's for sure because Ambrose is capable of playing mind games just like The Undertaker but I wonder if Ambrose will start to have more of a supernatural, other-worldly presence like Taker, if not now then it will happen soon
It seems Randy Orton is becoming the Randy Orton of old, the Randy Orton who punted superstars in the head putting them on the shelf becoming the Orton that DDTed Stephanie forcing her husband Triple H to watch becoming the Orton that punted the boss Vince in the head and took out the rest of Vince's family, Orton taking out Christian the way he did not only RKOing him once, not twice but three times, he should have punted Christian in the skull taking him out putting Christian on the shelf for a while but I am glad that Orton put the locker room on notice because Orton is the most dangerous man in that locker room and it is about time he starts reminding everyone of that
That was complete domination, Henry dominated Ryder but I understand why you had Henry go over Ryder to basically showcase that Henry won't be intimidated by Show or anyone but at the same time he should have inducted Ryder into the Hall of Pain taking him out injuring Ryder but Show he doesn't know when to leave well enough alone but Henry I won't be surprised if he ends up taking out Show one of these days
Cena retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback yet again for the 2nd time, I can't say that I am really surprised but at the same time I wonder what is next for Cena as far as No Way Out goes, if Cena will be defending his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber? Because if he does then Cena may not even make it to WrestleMania
Love the closing segment with the 2013 Royal Rumble Match winner CM Punk calling out the whole locker room and addressing them telling them that they didn't win the Royal Rumble but that he did, what a way to rub it in but Punk has every right to gloat, not only is he the Best in the World but he proved it by being the first man in the Royal Rumble Match and being the last man standing lasting for almost 1 whole hour being the 3rd man in history to win the Rumble from the #1 spot and now that he is going to Mania, I wonder which champion Punk will face at Mania?

If John Cena vs CM Punk does end up happening at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Championship, I wouldn't be opposed to it at all, in fact I think it would make for a great WrestleMania main event but for the World Heavyweight Championship I see a Triple-Threat Match at WrestleMania 29 with Bryan Danielson defending his newly won World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus and Ziggler

January 31, 2013 from the Valley View Casino in San Diego, California
A promo video opens up the show with highlights from this past Monday Night on Raw with Stephanie McMahon being named the Commissioner and making an immediate impact, plus Brock Lesnar beating The Rock down viciously and lastly the Royal Rumble winner CM Punk calling out the entire locker room to brag about his win before escaping through the crowd.
The Smackdown intro video airs and the cameras go into the arena as Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome everybody to the show, where tonight we will have Big Show vs Mark Henry as well as World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler find out who he will defend the championship against at No Way Out when Stephanie McMahon makes that announcement.
Commissioner Stephanie McMahon makes her way out from the back and comes down to the ring, taking a microphone and allowing the crowd to cheer her on. "Thank you everybody for the warm reception! It feels great to be here for my first night as Commissioner on Smackdown, and let me just kick things off by telling you all who World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will defend his title against at No Way Out!" She smiles and goes to reveal who it is, but Ziggler's music hits and he brings himself down to the ring with the crowd booing him loudly. He gets right into the squared circle and takes a microphone of his own, staring at Stephanie. He brings the microphone up and adjusts his title belt, "Let me guess, Steph. You're going to throw that big white moron Sheamus against me again, aren't you? Well, let me just remind you that I didn't just beat him once in a Tables Match, but I beat him again in a Steel Cage Match. So before you make that final decision to give him another chance, just remember that Sheamus can't beat the Show Off."
The two stare at each other momentarily and Stephanie pulls the microphone back up, "You're somewhat right, Dolph. I do have you facing Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out." The crowd gives a mixed reaction and Ziggler shakes his head, beginning to walk off. Stephanie keeps going though, "But you will also be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Mark Henry, Big Show, Dean Ambrose and Rob Van Dam!" Ziggler stops himself at the ropes as the crowd cheers at the announcement, Stephanie putting the finishing touches on it by informing Dolph that it will be an Elimination Chamber match. Ziggler immediately begins to complain about the decision, but Stephanie ignores him and exits the ring with a smile across her face.
Returning from commercial, Stephanie McMahon is backstage but she is caught up by Dolph Ziggler once again. He begins to question her making an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, and Stephanie cuts him off. "You know what, Dolph? You're doing a really bad job right now by getting on my bad side and I don't think you realize it. I was just thinking, I already have Mark Henry facing Big Show tonight, and I'm also going to have Dean Ambrose face Rob Van Dam. So why don't we finish things off by putting you in a rematch with the man who, what did you say? Can't beat the Show Off? Well go ahead and show me one more time when you face Sheamus one on one tonight." She gives him a smile and heads off, Ziggler clearly not impressed with the new Commissioner.
Dean Ambrose defeats Rob Van Dam via pinfall The match starts off with RVD using his speed to dominate Ambrose early on. He ends up nailing the Rolling Thunder in mid-match but misses the Five Star Frog Splash, leading to Ambrose nailing the Headlock Driver and getting a near fall. Ambrose ends up getting very frustrated throughout the match, leading to a sway of momentum for RVD. After a second attempt at the Five Star, however, Dean manages to pull both knees up and get back to his feet, nail the Headlock Driver and get the pinfall.
Ambrose gets onto both knees and laughs to the booing crowd. He sits Van Dam up and cradles him in his arms, yelling in his face before throwing him down. He gets back onto his feet and wipes his hands through his hair, giving a laugh. Ambrose finally exits the ring as the referee checks down on RVD, still remaining motionless on the mat.
Back from commercial, Matt Striker is standing backstage and he welcomes his guest at this time to be William Regal. He thanks him for being here and asks about getting another opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship here tonight on Smackdown. "Matthew, this past Sunday I was put in the position to give up being the Commissioner and becoming a champion once again. I lost both of those things. Tonight I am going to work hard to try and prove to myself that I am still capable of being a competitor. Tonight I am going to defeat that bloody Seth Rollins and shut him up while taking his championship away." He looks off in the distance and heads off.
Seth Rollins defeats William Regal via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship The champion works the veteran early on with his aggressiveness. Regal tries to get things technical with submission holds but Rollins manages to get free multiple times, and turn things back in his favor. Regal starts to gain control late and even manages to hit a Knee Trembler, but he gets too ferocious and goes for a second Knee Trembler only to be caught by the leg and blasted with a superkick, followed by an excruciatingly hard Blackout. Rollins covers Regal to get the victory.
Rollins is given his title belt and he stands over the lifeless body of Regal. He places his foot in the chest and grows a huge smile, raising the belt up high over his head. The crowd boos as Rollins has retained the belt for the second time this week over Regal. A graphic shows up, showing how later on Dolph Ziggler will face Sheamus but up next is Mark Henry vs Big Show.
We return to a video for the WWE Be A Star program, featuring the likes of John Cena, The Miz and Bryan Danielson meeting with younger kids within a community about not being a bully, but being a star.
Mark Henry defeats Big Show via disqualification The match starts off with the World's Strongest Man and World's Largest Athlete viciously assaulting each other and the referee barely being able to keep control. After just a few minutes of action between two of the biggest men in the WWE, Show pounds away at Henry in the corner and ignores the official's count, leading to the count of five and the forcing of the bell being rang.
Show continues to beat down Henry in the corner and the referee keeps on calling for the bell to be rung. Show finally pulls Henry out of the corner and goes to hit him with a chokeslam, Henry hitting a couple of elbows to the neck. He then hits a huge club across the face and lifts Show off the mat to the shock of everybody in the arena, Henry planting Show with the World's Strongest Slam. He stays down on both knees and gives a laugh before whipping his head back up. Henry gets onto his feet and pounds on his chest, giving a yell out to the crowd and telling them "That's what I do!" The referee checks down on Big Show, whom remains cringing in pain on the mat.
Returning at ringside, Michael Cole and Josh Mathews discuss what went down this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble when Brock Lesnar would return as the number thirty entrant alongside his agent Paul Heyman. On Monday Night Raw, the two would make an appearance and explain their actions and things would go south quickly. The replay from Raw airs, with Lesnar and Heyman returning and explaining that they returned after The Rock had won over the fans with his appears on WWE television. Heyman would finish off by saying, "Myself and my client Brock Lesnar decided that each and every one of you naive, foolish members of the WWE Universe needed a refresher that there is at least one man in this world who is much better than your hero Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and last night we did just that." As the two went to exit the ring, however, The Rock would storm down to the ring and begin brawling with Lesnar. However, the beast would go on to destroy The Rock outside of the ring and in the process, break two of his ribs.
Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix with Natalya defeats Kelly Kelly with Kaitlyn and Layla via pinfall in a non-title match The match begins with Kelly being very quick and trying to catch Beth off guard. The champion uses her strength, however, to overpower Kelly. She works her all around the ring and makes sure Kaitlyn and Layla see what she is doing. Kelly actually manages to get some momentum going and ends up hitting the reverse handstand elbow, only for Beth to catch her and hit the Glam Slam and get the pin.
Phoenix is awarded her Diva's Championship belt and she holds it up over her head. Natalya joins her in the ring as Kaitlyn and Layla remain on the outside, rejecting an invite back into the ring. They carefully pull Kelly out of the ring and pull her away, Phoenix and Natalya continuing to mock the trio of divas as they continue their dominance.
The cameras cut backstage to Stephanie McMahon in her office and Chris Jericho steps in. The crowd cheers in the background as Y2J crosses his arms, giving a smile to the Commissioner. She welcomes Chris and asks what she can help him with. "Well, Steph, I know you saw the end of Raw when CM Punk decided he was going to run his mouth and trash talk everybody he brought out onto the stage... and, well, myself and a few others decided to head down to the ring." She nods and asks what he is getting at, to which Jericho shrugs his shoulders. "I was talking to the guys after the show Monday and we all want to see me beating Punk next week." The fans once again pop as Jericho asks Stephanie what she thinks, and she takes a second to think about it before giving Jericho the match.
WWE Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling and Randy Orton defeat Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Christian via pinfall The match begins with Goldust and Rhodes working back and forth with K.O.W., each making frequent tags. After Orton gets tagged in and gets some work done for a few minutes, Rhodes gets some momentum and ends up making a tag to Christian, whom comes in and puts up a strong fight against Orton and takes him out. After an assist from K.O.W. to pull Goldust and Rhodes away, however, Orton blindsides Captain Charisma with the RKO right in the middle of the ring.
Orton gets back up onto his feet with a slight smile and ignores the outside action between Kings of Wrestling, Rhodes and Goldust. He pulls Christian to his feet and throws him shoulder first into the steel post. He forces him in vicioulsy and throws him right down to the mat, stomping away at him. Rhodes and Goldust come back into the ring and Orton initially backs off, only to hit an RKO on Goldust! He slips out of the ring and Rhodes charges after him, only for get towards the rampway, licking his lips.
Returning, Randy Orton is walking backstage and is stopped by Stephanie McMahon. She asks what the hell is wrong with him and Orton backs the new Commissioner up against the wall, breathing heavily in her face. He begins to grow a smile and laughs, "You of all people, Steph, should know how dangerous I am... and I am going to keep on going and going until I find a convenient time to slow down." He pulls away and then moves back face to face with Stephanie, "And convience doesn't come easily, Steph." He storms away.
The cameras cut to ringside where Michael Cole and Josh Mathews discuss the altercation between Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton, as well as the announcement earlier on of the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. They proceed to announce that the WWE Championship will also be defended in an Elimination Chamber match, and the participants for that match will be announced Monday Night on Raw by Stephanie McMahon.
The cameras head backstage once again, this time to Matt Striker. He introduces his guest to be Sheamus, and asks him about the opportunity to face Dolph Ziggler once again. The Celtic Warrior smiles, "It may be non title, Matt, but having the opportunity to knock Dolph's head off his shoulders once again to prove that I can defeat him and that I will defeat him at No Way Out, sounds great to me, fella. So sit back, relax and watch me beat him here tonight." He heads off, the main event up next.
Sheamus defeats World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler via pinfall in a non-title match The match starts off with Ziggler getting some fast momentum, getting a couple of near falls. Sheamus uses his strength to overpower the champion, however, and manages to blast him with an early Brogue Kick. Ziggler rolls out of the ring and a commercial break comes in. Upon the return, Sheamus continues control of the match. He does some amazing damage to Dolph's neck and back, but the champion puts up a strong fight. After a few minutes of more back and forth action, Rob Van Dam comes out t ringside. Dean Ambrose comes charging down from behind and attacks RVD, leading to Big Show coming out to attack Ambrose. Mark Henry comes out afterward, leading to Ziggler being distracted by his other No Way Out opponents battling on He turns around to the Brogue Kick from Sheamus and is pinned.
As the four on the outside continue to brawl, Sheamus gets back up onto his feet and stares to the outside. He shrugs his shoulders and steps out, joining the brawl with the other four. Multiple officials and security come down to try and break things up as Ziggler crawls to the middle of the ring, holding onto his neck and back while his World Heavyweight Championship sits in his lap.

Smackdown Review
Commissioner Stephanie McMahon back on Smackdown for the first time in years and she continues to make moves and the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler comes out to interrupt her, just how stupid is Dolph to come out and interrupt the Commissioner? Like what is he thinking about and glad Stephanie put Dolph in his place because Dolph thought that he was going to defend the title against Sheamus again only for her to make the announcement that Ziggler will defend his title at No Way Out but that he is defending it against Sheamus, Mark Henry, Big Show, Rob Van Dam and Dean Ambrose in an Elimination Chamber Match, this is great news because now we'll just see how good Ziggler thinks he is having to defend his title against 5 other guys but doing it in an Elimination Chamber, and then we'll see if Dolph can actually make it to Mania
But that backstage segment the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler had with the Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, to me that spoke volumes because not only does he have to defend his title at No Way Out in an Elimination Chamber but that he has to face one of his Elimination Chamber opponents the man he beat at Royal Rumble, Sheamus in a non-title match, can't wait
Dean Ambrose gaining momentum heading towards No Way Out beating one of his Elimination Chamber opponents RVD in such impressive fashion, Ambrose he could be the favorite or should I say the darkhorse to win that match and why? Because out of all the 6 men in that match Ambrose is not only the most unpredictable out of all of them but that this match will suit a guy like Ambrose just fine seeing how twisted, how demented how sinister how evil he is, could work in his favor whereas RVD he is another favorite but at this point I really doubt it
William Regal backstage interview right before his match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, does Regal still have it? Does Regal still have one last run in him as the WWE Intercontinental Champion? I guess we will find out but at the same time Rollins has been on a tear ever since coming into WWE in your diary and not to mention he has been on a tear ever since becoming the WWE Intercontinental Champion so I wonder if Regal can end his magnificent run?
Rollins beating Regal again to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship, definitely the right call because it builds up Rollins even more as WWE Intercontinental Champion and believe it or not Rollins has been getting better and better each title defense and not to mention he has been beating whoever has been placed in front of him so Rollins is restoring prestige and credibility to the WWE Intercontinental Championship something that championship hasn't had for a very long time and with Rollins holding it, I could see him having a lengthy reign with the title whereas Regal I think it may be time for him to finally call it a career and retire
Henry beating Show all be it by DQ actually believe it or not is the right call and I'll tell you why? It's because a clean loss for either man would have killed their momentum heading into No Way Out since both of these men are going to be in the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship so they need all the momentum they can get but a DQ loss for Big Show doesn't really hurt him just like how if Henry were the one who got DQ'ed then it wouldn't have hurt him all that much but at the same time their feud carrying on over into the Chamber, it should be interesting to see how both of these men will be able to fit inside the Chamber but as soon as they are in the Chamber I could see these 2 destroying each other inside the Chamber but Henry lifting up Show for the World's Strongest Slam, now that was great
Recapping Brock/Rock highlights from RAW on Smackdown was great, but I won't be surprised if Lesnar and Rock end up showing up on Smackdown at some point to further build up their feud heading into WrestleMania 29 especially if they do end up facing one another at WrestleMania 29
WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix beating Kelly Kelly just goes to show us that Beth is pretty much the alpha female in the division and that no one can beat her for that WWE Divas Championship but it will be interesting to see who tries
Stephanie the Commissioner having a backstage segment this time with Jericho, definitely brings back nostaglia for me because of WrestleMania 18 in Toronto when Jericho was the WWE Undisputed Champion and he was defending that title against Stephanie's husband Triple H and Jericho had Stephanie in his corner, but Jericho wants a match with the 2013 Royal Rumble Match winner CM Punk on RAW and his wish is granted by Stephanie, I can't wait to see that match because it should be a good one...The Best in the World CM Punk facing off against The Best in the World at Everything He Does Chris Jericho, should be a great one
Kings of Wrestling the WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Ohno teaming up with Orton to face the team of The Rhodes Brothers Goldust and Cody Rhodes who team up with Captain Charisma Christian in 6-man tag team action, and the team of Cesaro, Ohno and Orton beating Goldust, Cody and Christian definitely was the right call because of the fact that it put over Orton and Orton has been a beast ever since becoming The Viper of old, becoming his old self, the way he was always meant to be and Orton not only RKOing Christian yet again but then RKOing Goldust too on top of it and slithering out before Cody could do anything, I love this malice of Orton's, it entertains me because if anything Orton is the most dangerous in that locker room and he is just showing everybody why that is still the case and Ohno & Cesaro going over the Rhodes Brothers is an added bonus too seeing as how they are the WWE Tag Team Champions so a win for them really elevates them even more as champions makes them seem more legit in terms of their reign
Orton having a confrontation with the Commissioner Stephanie McMahon reminding her all too well of their history because of the fact that he gave her a Rope-Hung DDT right in front of her husband Triple H while he was handcuffed to the ring forcing him to watch that happen to Stephanie and he punted her father Vince in the head and he punted her brother Shane in the head as well, so if Stephanie were smart she would stay out of Orton's way before something bad happens to her again because of Orton, but how Orton was not named as a participant in the Elimination Chamber Match is beyond me
Orton deserves to be in the Chamber and I think he will be because I see Orton attacking one of the Elimination Chamber participants for no reason at all than he wants to take their spot replacing them in the Chamber and I can see Orton doing that but who should Orton do that too? I nominate either he takes out RVD or Sheamus and replaces them in the Chamber because Orton if he were to do it then he would the odds on favorite to win the Elimination Chamber Match and become the new World Heavyweight Champion main-eventing WrestleMania 29 just like he should
The WWE Championship is also being defended inside the Elimination Chamber, I wonder who Cena will defend his title against inside the Elimination Chamber? Cena may not even make it to WrestleMania 29 either
And the main event with Sheamus beating Ziggler finally, it does give Sheamus that much needed push in the right direction gaining momentum by beating the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler but Ziggler he could be in serious danger of losing that World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber because his chances of retaining is less than 17% but he has as much chance as the other 5 guys in the Chamber considering their chances are less than 17% as well
But I wonder about CM Punk too, just when will he make his WrestleMania decision? Will he make it at No Way Out? Or will he make his decision before No Way Out? Or will he make his WrestleMania decision after No Way Out?
And then there's Bryan Danielson the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase holder who can still cash in his briefcase on the World Heavyweight Champion and Danielson he could cash in his briefcase right after the Elimination Chamber match is over, cue his music and he comes out with briefcase and referee in tow and he decides to cash in, that would be the perfect scenario for him to cash in because then he would be guaranteed to main event WrestleMania 29 as the champion going in
And then there is The Undertaker, who will step up to face The Dead Man at WrestleMania 29 with Undertaker's 20-0 WrestleMania streak on the line? Will you have a Battle Royal or a tournament or a Beat The Clock sprint to determine who faces Taker at WrestleMania 29? Because if you do then it should be interesting to see who faces Taker at WrestleMania 29
I wonder if Mr. Kennedy will ever return because he has been out for months and months injured or he just disappeared somewhere but it would be nice if you did bring him back

You get no apologies from me on falling behind on this piece of s***.
I do enjoy seeing the weekly show format back. While the monthly PPV format wasn't bad, it wouldn't do any justice for the Road to WrestleMania. CM Punk winning the Royal Rumble was a bit expected, but definitely the right call. Brock Lesnar returning in the Rumble match was not expected, however. Him then tearing the Rock apart was lovely and should lead to something special at 'Mania. Cody and Ambrose in the final four <3. Also, I'm sort of skeptical on Ryback's heel turn. Unless you're able to strike gold with his character like the WWE has, I'll remain indifferent on it. Oh look, Lesnar eats the Rock alive again. Nice. Cody and Goldust teaming up is nice to see, and a coincidence at that. I wouldn't them being the ones to take the WWE Tag Team Championships from the Kings of Wrestling. The Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship match looks very varied. Not bad at all. Can't see anyone other than Ziggler leaving as champion, though. A good set of shows overall. Keep it up, turd.

WWE Royal Rumble: Sunday 27th January 2013...Alright, let's get into this. The best choice for the opening contest, with Dolph Ziggler managing to escape the wrath of Sheamus and retain the World Heavyweight Championship in this Steel Cage match to kick off the show. I'm sure that it would have been a great show, to say the least. It's interesting that you decided to re-enact William Regal as the Commissioner of the WWE, and I enjoyed his segment with Mr McMahon, who appears to be playing the dictator Chairman once again. A decent win for Seth Rollins to end Regal's tenure as WWE Intercontinental Champion - although the inclusion of the stipulation of Regal losing his job as Commissioner by win or loss may have really hurt this one. I think the crowd would have wanted Regal to keep his job, to say the least. Not sure what to think of this decision, regardless. Rollins retaining the title helped him, getting a win over an established veteran like Regal. Next, Beth Phoenix retaining the WWE Divas Championship against Layla served as the filler between big matches, and it served its purpose. Layla is awful, so I'm glad that Beth retained. Up next, the WWE Championship match was solid, with John Cena predictably retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback. I'm wondering what's next for Ryback and Cena. It's a shame that this potential money-grabbing match was wrecked by being on the undercard for the Royal Rumble. Onto the Royal Rumble, a big start to the show with CM Punk and The Rock starting off, no doubt that they will be the focal point of this hour long marathon. I imagine they'll be feuding into WrestleMania XXIX, too. Could Cena and The Rock be being saved for WrestleMania XXX? It was nice to see a cameo appearance from DDP in this one. Apart from that, this was the typical Rumble, with Rock almost going the limit before getting eliminated by Brock Lesnar...alright, so maybe Lesnar will be Rock's opponent at the Rumble. Brock Lesnar entering as number 30 was great, though, entering the true battleground. CM Punk managing to win the 2013 Royal Rumble match was great, as Punk will now face John Cena at WrestleMania XXIX, the WWE Championship on the line...unless we see the title change hands between now and then, however I doubt that. A pretty solid show, as your diary can truly begin again from this point onwards. I feel like I may need introducing to characters again, though. Especially those that haven't been too utilized on pay-per-view in the past year.

February 4, 2013 from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GeorgiaThe Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras follow up by panning into the arena, with the pyros hitting across the stage and the crowd being looked over. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome everybody to the show, and talk about tonight's planned events. Stephanie McMahon will address the WWE Championship match at No Way Out, an exclusive interview with Brock Lesnar from Jim Ross and Chris Jericho facing CM Punk one on one!
Justin Roberts stands in the middle of the ring and introduces the WWE Commissioner, Stephanie McMahon! She brings herself out to a nice pop and she walks across both sides of the stage to try and get the crowd more fired up. She comes down to the ring and takes a microphone, giving a smile to the fans. "Thank you everybody for that warm welcome, and I think we should get right on down to business!" Another pop comes from the crowd as Stephanie continues, "I know ever since I took over seven days ago as your commissioner I've been kind of force fed down your throats, but I have been a very busy woman. Tonight is no different, as if you saw Smackdown last week you saw as I announced an Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, I will be announcing my decision for what will happen with the WWE Championship at No Way Out."
Stephanie goes to say more but the music of John Cena hits, and he brings himself out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He gets into the ring and shakes Steph's hand before raising his championship belt up high to the crowd all around. He smiles to Stephanie and pulls his microphone up, "Sorry to interrupt you, boss, but I just had to come out here and be in person before you made the announcement in regards to my WWE Championship. I'd also like to let you know, that no matter who you put up against me and no matter what obstacle I have to go through, I will keep my WWE Championship belt and be the appropriate representative for it." Stephanie nods and thanks John for his confidence and representation. "However, John, there are of course certain superstars that deserve an opportunity for your title belt, and just as I have done with Dolph Ziggler and his championship, you will be taking yours to No Way Out in an Elimination Chamber match. The participants? Yourself, of course, along with Ryback, Christian, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton!" The fans give their reactions to each superstar, back and forth with boos and cheers. Stephanie proceeds to make the announcement that all six men will be in action tonight against one another with Christian taking on Ryback, Cody Rhodes battling Seth Rollins and John Cena facing his former rival, Randy Orton. The crowd pops for the final match, with Cena nodding in approval of the decisions by Stephanie.
Returning from commercial, a replay airs from before the break with the Elimination Chamber match being announced for No Way Out, as well as the matches made tonight of Ryback vs Christian, Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins and John Cena vs Randy Orton. Ryback defeats Christian via pinfall The match starts off with Christian firing away at the much bigger man, only for the vicious and angry Ryback to strike back. He throws Christian all around the ring and hits him in the stomach with shoulders and knees. As he goes for an early Shell Shocked, however, Christian manages to slip free. He takes some control of the match for a short while, but after being hit with the meat Hook Clothesline, Shell Shocked is delivered right in the middle of the ring, giving Ryback the victory with a pin.
Ryback gets onto his feet to the booing crowd and he pumps his arms up in down in signature fashion. He stands over Christian before yanking him back up, throwing him through the ropes and to the floor. He gives a laugh and licks his lips.
Returning, Matt Striker is backstage and he introduces his guests at this time to be Big Show and Rob Van Dam. He thanks the two for their time and asks about teaming up here tonight against two fellow competitors at No Way Out in Mark Henry and Dean Ambrose. RVD speaks first, "You know what, dude, tonight I team up with Show and I respect Show. But, man, we're rivals once again right after our names are announced as winners." He nods and Show raises his eyebrows, "Sure, Rob. But it will be my music playing when we are the winners because I'm going to get the win." RVD laughs and pats Show on the shoulder, heading off for the match.
Mark Henry and Dean Ambose defeat Big Show and Rob Van Dam RVD starts things off with Ambrose early on and they go back and forth with quick action. Ambrose gets a blind tag in from Henry and he comes in and slows things down. He works RVD with all of his strength until making a tag back to Ambrose. He comes in and gets some momentum but RVD hits a huge spinning wheel kick, leading to back and forth tags with Show. RVD knocks Ambrose back to the corner and Henry makes a blind tag once again, RVD hitting a clothesline to Dean. He goes and hits the Five Star Frog Splash, but once he gets back up, Henry nails him with the World's Strongest Slam. He hooks both legs up and Ambrose manages to get in the way of show to allow the three count for his team.
Show takes Ambrose by the neck and hits a huge headbutt. He then turns his attention to Henry and blasts him with the Knockout Punch! He then turns back around and knocks Ambrose out as well. Show then brings his partner back to his feet in RVD and asks if he is alright, before pulling him in and hitting a Knockout Punch to Van Dam as well! He stands over him and puts both his fists up, as despite a tag team loss he has shown if he gets a Knockout Punch on anybody in the Elimination Chamber, he could eliminate them easily.
We return at ringside where Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole take us back to last week, where Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman would arrive to the arena and explain their reasons for attacking The Rock at the Royal Rumble. The Rock would end up coming out and go after Lesnar, only to be beaten down and have two broken ribs as a result. Jim Ross sat down with 'The Beast' this weekend.
The cameras transition to Jim Ross sitting, and thanks Brock Lesnar for his time, before proceeding to ask if the reason Paul Heyman gave last week for attacking The Rock was legitimate. Lesnar stares at J.R. at first and then responds, "Now what the hell would be the point of coming up with any other reason than the fact that I am better than The Rock? That because everybody thought that he was the best it was time to come back and prove them wrong? What Paul said was completely accurate." J.R. continues on and questions Lesnar about this being out of envy or jealousy, if Brock is more upset because the WWE invited The Rock back over him. "Envious? Jealous? I don't have anything to be envious or jealous about when it comes to The Rock, J.R. I've beaten him before and know that I am better than him. The WWE doesn't like me because I don't have the personality of The Rock. What I have is pure, brute strength and danger, of course they'd favor the guy that talks the talk, even if he doesn't walk the walk."
Ross continues on and asks Lesnar if by attacking The Rock if he is challenging him to a match. Brock looks down at the floor, laughs and then looks back up to J.R. "How can I even challenge The Rock to a match when I am not contracted by WWE? The only reason I was at Royal Rumble is because of a business deal. WWE knew I was good for business. The only reason I was on Raw last week was because WWE begged me to. The only reason you are interviewing me right now is because the WWE demanded you to because I am in high demand right now for what I did to The Rock. If WWE wants to sign me to a deal and give me everything that I deserve, then perhaps an arrangement could be made in the future for myself and The Rock... that is, if he can even muster the strength to use his upper body with his broken ribs." Lesnar laughs and J.R. tells him he has one last question, and that is if Brock Lesnar is the same as he was ten years ago when he was dominating the WWE. Brock stares straight into J.R.'s eyes, "I'm bigger. I'm better. I'm stronger. Everything about me from ten years ago is ten times greater. Day by day I get even better, and you better believe it." He gives a loud laugh once again as Jim Ross thanks him for his time, the cameras fading out from the interview.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins defeats Cody Rhodes with Goldust via pinfall in a non-title match Rhodes gets an upper hand on Rollins early on, and gets a couple of near falls. He tries to hit the Cross Rhodes very, very early on and Rollins manages to slip free and use some fast moves to get an advantage in the match. After a near fall late, Rollins gets out of the ring and gets in the face of Goldust, whom tries to spook him with his odd behavior. Rollins gets back into the ring and the Cross Rhodes is once again attempted, only for Rollins to slip free and deliver a vicious superkick. He hooks both legs for the win.
Rollins gets back up onto his feet and the referee awards him his Intercontinental Championship. He goes over to the ropes and tries to come back as Goldust checks down on his brother. The official holds him back, however, and Rollins gets out of the ring.
The cameras cut backstage to show Chris Jericho getting prepared for his match later on against CM Punk. The Prime Time Players come into the room and shake hands with him, Titus speaking for the two. "Chris, last week we were happy to step up with you to go after that loud mouth and we just wanted to wish you luck going up against him tonight. We know you got this." Jericho thanks them for their support, "And you guys got yourselves a big match against the WWE Tag Team Champions. I wish you both luck with that as well." They say their good byes, as the commentary team states that The Usos take on The Kings of Wrestling in non-title action next.
We return to a video for the WWE Be A Star program, featuring the likes of John Cena, The Miz, Kaitlyn and Bryan Danielson meeting with younger kids within a community about not being a bully, but being a star.
The Prime Time Players defeat WWE Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling via pinfall in a non-title match O'Neill and Young make frequent tags early on to overwork Ohno, leading to a struggle to tag in Cesaro. Once a tag is finally made to Antonio, he manages to take control of things over Darren. He gets a couple of near falls and he ends up taking over once again with Ohno, and they get some fast paced action going after the slowness. As the referee has to get Ohno out of the ring, however, Young hits a low blow to Cesaro and Titus rolls up Cesaro for the shocking three count!
Titus quickly slips out of the ring and joins his partner at the bottom of the ramp. They hold each other by the neck and laugh as Cesaro gets on both knees in an outrage. He has Ohno soon join him and they view the replay on the titantron, and begin to throw a fit over the way they lost. The Prime Time Players, however, just take it with a grain of salt and chant their signature "Billions of dollars! Millions of dollars!"
Returning from the break, Stephanie McMahon is seen standing in her office on her phone. She hangs up once the door is knocked on and she tells them to come in. The Kings of Wrestling duo proceed to come in and argue over the actions of The Prime Time Players in their match. Stephanie smiles and looks at the two and their championship belts, "If you have such a problem with their actions and think you could beat them, then you two boys wouldn't mind going up against them again then, right?" They nod in agreement, Ohno telling Stephanie that he knows they could beat them any time. "Well, that sounds great. Because at No Way Out in two weeks, they'll get their chance... with your belts on the line. It should be like a walk in the park, right?" She smiles and dismisses them, the tag team champions storming out in frustration.
The cameras switch to Matt Striker, whom introduces his guest to be CM Punk. He goes right into asking Punk about why he called out all the WWE Superstars last Monday night and basically drew a big target on his back. "As if a target wasn't going to be on my back being the Royal Rumble winner... as if there wasn't a target on my back with me being the best in the world, Matt. See, the thing is, it doesn't matter. I can talk all the trash I want to talk because I can back it up, unlike all of those pathetic saps. I even entered at number one and won the Rumble, Matt. You understand that?" He gives a bit of a laugh, "Tonight, I'll continue to show why I am the best in the world when I go up against Chris Jericho where one way or another, I will stand tall over him." Punk heads off for his match up next.
Chris Jericho defeats CM Punk via disqualification The match begins with Jericho and Punk going back and forth with technical action on the mat. Punk gets the upper hand with some quick feet, however, and rocks Jericho. After an attempt at his signature knee in the corner is missed, however, Y2J drops Punk right over the ropes and to the floor - leading to a commercial break. Upon the return, Jericho remains in control of the match. He gets a couple of near falls and even manages to deliver the Codebreaker, getting another two count. Punk comes back and gets some work in of his own, and goes for the Go To Sleep. Jericho once again hits the Codebreaker but Punk flops out of the ring. As Jericho goes after him, however, Punk blasts him with a chair to the stomach! He then drops it across the back, causing the official to call for the bell.
Punk stands over Jericho and the crowd gives a mixed reaction of boos and cheers for the Royal Rumble winner. Punk then drops the chair across the back once again and keeps on going on, leading to multiple officials having to stop him. Jericho is checked down on and Punk raises the chair up to the crowd with a smile before throwing it down to the floor. He heads to the back with Y2J laid out.
We return at ringside where Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole informs everybody that Stephanie McMahon not only made the match between The Prime Time Players and Kings of Wrestling for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but has also announced that Chris Jericho and CM Punk will battle in a no holds barred rematch! Also, next week on Raw, those two matches will come together as Jericho teams up with Titus O'Neill and Darren Young against Punk and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno.
Layla with Kaitlyn defeats Natalya with Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix via pinfall The match begins with Layla trying to get the upper hand on Natalya, only to get overpowered. Layla, however, gets some momentum going along with the cheering on of Kaitlyn in her corner. As Phoenix tries to do what has been done in recent weeks in going after the injured Kaitlyn, the former champion clotheslines the current champion to the floor. Natalya tries to go through the ropes after Kaitlyn, but is pulled right back by Layla and rolled up to the mat for the three count.
Layla gets back up onto her feet and Kaitlyn gets in the ring with a bit of pain from her healing broken ankle. She takes a microphone from ringside and gives a smile, "Hey, Beth, I got some news for you! Next week, I'll be back in action! And I will be back in action against miss Natalya right there, and once I beat her, I'm coming for you one more time for MY Diva's Championship." She drops the microphone down and raises her arm up along with Layla, the two hugging while the other two stay on the outside in frustration.
The cameras go backstage to Bryan Danielson and the crowd pops for him. He is talking to a crew member about a minor knee injury and explaining why he can't compete tonight. From behind, Alberto Del Rio attacks and immediately goes after the knee. "You think beating me makes you better than me!? Huh!?" He continues to stomp away at the bad leg and throws it right into one of the steel production trunks nearby. A group of officials comes in to pull him away, Del Rio laughing and throwing his United States Championship belt over his shoulder.
WWE Champon John Cena vs Randy Orton goes to a No Contest in a non-title match Cena takes control of the match early but Orton uses his experience against the champion to get a momentum swing of his own. He goes for the RKO early on but fails to deliver it, allowing Cena to take things back his way. He goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Orton manages to slip free and get out of the ring. John follows after him but gets thrown shoulder first into the steel steps. A commercial break interrupts, and upon the return The Viper continues taking control of things. He prepares for the RKO after going through his signature moves, but Cena shoves him away. Orton tosses him through the ropes and hits the rope hung DDT, leading to yet another near fall. As he picks the champion up, Cena hits him with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena proceeds to lock in the STF but as he does, Ryback comes charging down towards the ring. Just as he gets there, however, Christian storms towards it as well. He dives in right after Ryback, whom drops on the hold from Cena. Christian leaps right into the mix and the official calls for the bell.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins each come down and get into the heat of things, Cena managing to clean things out of Rollins and Ryback and Orton of Rhodes and Christian, leading to Cena and Orton being back as the only two in the ring. Cena notices it first, however, and nails the Attitude Adjustment right in the middle of the ring on The Viper! The crowd cheers as Cena gets back up onto his feet. He takes his WWE Championship from ringside and moves to the corner, climbing to the second turnbuckle and raising it over his head as his five opponents for No Way Out all remain laid out in and out of the ring as Monday Night Raw comes to a hectic end.

No Holds Barred Match CM Punk vs Chris Jericho
Following the Royal Rumble winner CM Punk's bad attitude being shown the night after his huge win, Chris Jericho would lead a group of superstars to the ring to go after Punk. RAW Review
I must say that Stephanie McMahon is coming into her own as Commissioner of the WWE and ever since she's taken over she's done one hell of a job that's for sure and she makes the announcement that the WWE Championship will also be defended inside the Elimination Chamber with John Cena the WWE Champion defending his title against Ryback, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, wow what a blockbuster announcement and other blockbuster announcements that Stephanie makes having Ryback face off against Christian, Cody Rhodes facing off against the WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and the WWE Champion John Cena facing off against his old rival Randy Orton in the main event, I am just loving this right now because all these matches here before the No Way Out pay per view on paper just look so good especially the main event of Cena/Orton renewing an old rivalry, it was like one of my favorite rivalries back in the day and to see it happen again on RAW, it makes this fan right here happy
Ryback beating Christian, it just goes to show us that Ryback has got to be the odds on favorite for the Elimination Chamber, this match is built for someone like him and not to mention Ryback ever since turning heel he has pretty much been on a tear and Christian unfortunately here never stood a chance against Ryback but maybe Christian could surprise us all in the Chamber but at this point I doubt it very seriously even though Christian in your diary he is a former WWE Champion so...but Ryback at this point he is just destined to become WWE Champion sooner or later
Big Show & RVD's interview backstage, I loved it but at the same time there has to at least be dissension forming in those ranks between them because at No Way Out they are opponents inside the Smackdown Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship but tonight they're teammates but at the end of the day can RVD really trust Big Show? Or can Big Show really trust RVD? I see these 2 coming apart at the seams here
Mark Henry and Dean Ambrose getting the win over Show and RVD, I can't really argue with that but what happened after the match definitely I did not expect that, Big Show taking out Ambrose but then knocking out both Henry and then his own teammate RVD with the KO Punch, it just goes to show us that Big Show has to got to be the odds on favorite to win the Smackdown Chamber to become the World Heavyweight Champion and that at No Way Out it is every man for himself inside that Chamber, I mean how can you pick against The Big Show?
JR's interview with Lesnar, now this was my favorite segment of the whole show, because Lesnar he really thinks he's the best and he very well could be, I mean Brock is the most dangerous man there is right now in the WWE, and that Brock is better in 2013 than he was back in 2003 way better in my opinion and that he has not only taken Rock out not once but twice in 2 nights, like how hasn't WWE not signed this man yet? I just hope if and when Lesnar does show up on RAW and we all know he will, I just want to see him just clean house and F-5 superstars left and right but The Rock you have to know The Great One is watching this and if he is...you know he wants Brock and I see Brock vs Rock II happening at WrestleMania 29 and if it does happen then Brock/Rock II has got to be one of the closing main events by far especially if it happens at Mania
Seth Rollins wins yet another match, this time beating Cody Rhodes with his brother Goldust, Rollins too has been on a roll ever since winning that WWE Intercontinental Championship just finding ways to win winning match after match and winning his matches so decisively too, it makes me wonder if this push of Rollins' will continue and if it does...then Rollins has got to be an odds on favorite too inside the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship but he is also the WWE Intercontinental Champion too at the same time but for Cody for him as far as the Chamber goes...I don't see him winning but I see Cody and or Goldust facing Rollins for the IC Title at some point
Jericho/Usos segment I didn't really care for so I won't even get into that
PTP beating the WWE Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling Cesaro and Ohno, now that is truly millions of dollars, millions of dollars, millions of dollars millions millions millions billions, now can you dig that? Either way PTP just put themselves in the drivers seat as far as a future WWE Tag Team Championship match goes but either way PTP they are due for a WWE Tag Team Championship reign but as for Cesaro and Ohno they look to be in serious danger of losing those titles at some point and if these 2 teams end up going at it, then what better place for that to happen than at No Way Out?
It seems my wish has been granted and PTP will face Kings of Wrestling at the No Way Out pay per view, then PTP are definitely winning
The 2013 WWE Royal Rumble CM Punk, still running his mouth, well he has every right to do so, I mean this man is The Best in the World, he managed to win the Royal Rumble by entering in at number one and outlasting 29 other superstars to get the job done and he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt why he is The Best in the World and that Chris Jericho is no longer the Best in the World at Everything He Does because Punk has more than deserved that moniker and Jericho hasn't even lived up to it in Lord knows how long
Chris Jericho beating Punk by DQ, was the right way to go on this one because a clean loss would have hurt either man in this scenario but a DQ loss for Punk doesn't really hurt him considering the momentum he's been on ever since winning the Royal Rumble Match, Punk is guaranteed a championship match at WrestleMania 29, Punk is in the main event, Punk either has to choose the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship so he has more going for him at this moment but for Jericho this DQ win kind of gives him momentum but at the same time he ended up getting destroyed by Punk right after the match so a lot of good that did...now it's going to be Jericho vs Punk at No Way Out in a No Holds Barred Match, then I say Punk wins it but Jericho if he wins then Punk may not even make it to WrestleMania 29 in one piece
Next week it's going to be Jericho, Young, and O'Neil to take on the team of Punk, Cesaro and Ohno, I love it only because Punk has history with both Cesaro and Ohno because of ROH but also because of the fact that Punk, Cesaro and Ohno have so much in common with one another, the ROH band is back together when you think about it, could we see a future stable being put together by Punk? Either way this 6-man tag team match has got to main event RAW next week
Layla beating Natalya, I definitely did not care for this match at all but at the same time I will admit that it was a good match but at the same time Kaitlyn facing off against Beth Phoenix yet again for the WWE Divas Championship, now that I am definitely not looking forward too and why? Because it is so predictable what is going to happen...Beth is going to beat Kaitlyn yet again to retain her WWE Divas Championship and not only that but we've seen this match before like how many times? The same thing will happen over and over again so why even bother? But I am looking forward to seeing Kaitlyn vs Natalya next week
And Del Rio the WWE United States Champion attacking Danielson the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase holder, now this attack I definitely did not see coming but at the same time it was a brutal attack even I have to admit that, but it just goes to show us that Del Rio means business and that he isn't going to be pushed aside anymore, glad to see Del Rio make a statement like that because not only is he a main-event calibre guy but even though he is the WWE United States Champion he has the potential to be WWE Champion again in the future but Del Rio he just made sure that Danielson is in no condition to cash in that briefcase on the champion, that's smart on Del Rio's part
Now the main event, Cena vs Orton ending in a No Contest, I kind of understand why you had that happen even though I feel personally that either man could have won this match and either man should have won but at the same time it kind of puts them both over without really hurting their momentum but at the same time I just loved seeing the main event just end in pure anarchy with Ryback, Christian, Cody Rhodes and Rollins coming out and it just all ending in a melee but with Cena standing tall over everyone else, that part I definitely hated but I don't see Cena walking out of No Way Out as WWE Champion, NO, I see Randy Orton winning the WWE Championship becoming an 11-time World Champion, Orton is my pick to win the RAW Chamber and headline WrestleMania 29 in the main event for the WWE Championship

February 7, 2013 from the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida
The Smackdown intro video airs and the cameras go into the arena as Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome everybody to the show. Tonight, the six competitors in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match go into action against one another - including the main event between the World Champion Dolph Ziggler and Big Show! Also, Paul Heyman will be here on behalf of his client, Brock Lesnar.
The music of the World Champion hits and Dolph Ziggler brings himself out in non-wrestling gear, coming down to the ring to boos. He takes a microphone and raises his eyebrows to everybody in the arena. "You people always seem to boo me, but I find it kind of funny because I am the World Heavyweight Champion and I don't believe any of you have ever been able to say the same. Maybe with your fake toy belts that you buy at the concession stands and bring home and wear over your shoulders on your Facebook pictures with your ugly girlfriends and idiotic children, sure!" The crowd gives him some strong heat for the comments and Ziggler laughs away from the microphone. "I am the Show Off and you can boo me all you want but like I said, I am the World Heavyweight Champion and not only can none of you say that you are, neither can any of my five opponents in the Elimination Chamber. We have Rob Van Dam, we have Mark Henry, we have Dean Ambrose, we have Sheamus and of course we have the guy I'm told I have to face tonight - Big Show." The fans pop for the last name as Ziggler scratches his chin, "Now I understand that the Big Show is the 'Worlds Largest Athlete' but I also understand that in the past couple of years Show has been on and off in the WWE because of injuries. When it comes to facing somebody of my talent, it is very difficult to walk away without being hurt. I face a big man, but a big man who is very fragile. So Show, I want to invite you out here right now and forfeit tonight's match against me so you don't have to worry about missing out on No Way Out." Ziggler smiles and holds the microphone down to his side, staring up the ramp waiting for a response.
Instead of Big Show's music, however, Bryan Danielson's hits. The Money in the Bank holder brings himself out to a huge pop. The fans begin to chant 'Yes!' very loudly as Bryan chants along with them on his way down to the ring. He gets in and takes a microphone from ringside, Ziggler staying back from the man that can cash in on him at any time. Bryan laughs and scratches his beard, looking around the arena to the thousands of people chanting that one word he has made famous. "Am I out here to cash in my Money in the Bank briefcase on Dolph Ziggler!?" The fans erupt with the expected response of 'Yes!', but Bryan shakes his head. "Unfortunately, I am not. However! I do come out here for a purpose. That purpose is to give you a warning, Dolph. A warning that... while Big Show is capable of being hurt, he is very capable of hurting somebody else and if he so happens to say, knock you out tonight?" Bryan nods his head as Ziggler gives him an ice cold glare. "Then YES! It would be a tremendous opportunity to cash in on you and I just might! But if you somehow manage to get away unscaved, there always is No Way Out! But there is also Monday Night Raw! There is this evening in your hotel room, or maybe backstage while you're getting ready for your match! Bottom line is, Dolph, I can cash in whenever I want and I'm feeling a little anxious seeing how it is WrestleMania season." He grows a smile once again and licks his lips. He puts his microphone down to the mat and raises his briefcase in the air along with his index finger in the other hand, chanting along with the crowd at the top of his lungs "Yes! Yes! Yes!". Danielson takes himself out of the ring as Ziggler clenches his title belt close to his chest.
Rob Van Dam defeats Mark Henry via pinfall The bell sounds and the two move around the ring slowly before coming to the middle. RVD gets a bit going with his fast kicks and fists but Henry uses his strength to take things over. He works RVD for a few minutes before being hit with a huge kick to the face. Rob knocks Henry down with a springboard kick to the jaw and goes for the Five Star Frog Splash, only for Mark to catch him and get up. He delivers the World's Strongest Slam but before he can go for a pin, Big Show makes his way out and towards the ring. Henry leans over the ropes and motions for Show to come to the ring, and he moves to the bottom of the ramp before telling Mark to turn. RVD hits a huge kick to the face coming off the top rope. He proceeds to hit the Five Star Frog Splash and get the pinfall.
RVD gets back up to his feet and pumps both is fists in the air, celebrating the victory. He then turns to the outside of the ring, glaring right at Show. They stare down momentarily and Show shrugs his shoulders before pounding his fist into his palm with a smile. He makes his way towards the back and RVD gives a nod. A graphic shows up for the main event later on with Dolph Ziggler facing Big Show.
Back from commercial, Matt Striker is standing backstage and he welcomes his guest at this time to be the Prime Time Players. He thanks them for being here and asks about getting another opportunity to face the Kings of Wrestling at No Way Out for the tag titles. "Matty, Matty, Matty!" Young laughs and puts his arm around him, "We beat those fools on Monday, we gonna beat em next Sunday. And tonight, I'm gonna beat Antonio Cesaro mono-e-mono!" O'Neill steps up and puts his arm around Striker on the other side. "Don't you worry about a thing, Matty. We gonna win those belts and we gonna start making... Millions of dollars, billions of dollars!" They try and get Striker to start doing it, and he initially says no. After a bit of enforcement, however, Striker begins to join the two in swaying back and forth and giving the signature chant. O'Neill gives his dog bark and heads off with Young, leaving Striker laughing.
WWE Tag Team Champion Antonio Cesaro with Kassius Ohno defeats Darren Young with Titus O'Neill via pinfall The match begins with Cesaro working Young on the mat with very strong submission holds. Young manages to fight back after escaping a Boston Crab and he uses his fast paced action to get the upper hand. Young gets a couple of near falls but after he hits a superkick and Cesaro pretends to be hurt, Ohno hangs Young up on the ropes. O'Neill charges right at Ohno and clotheslines him to the floor. After Young gets back to his feet, however, Cesaro manages to hit his signature Piledriver and get the pinfall.
Cesaro gets onto his feet and raises his fists up to the crowd. O'Neill charges into the ring and goes after Cesaro, but the Tag Team Champion gets out of the ring to his partner. They are brought their title belts from the official and the two back up the ramp slowly. The Prime Time Players proceed to head over to the ropes and motion for the belts while swaying back and forth in taunt.
We return to a video for the WWE Be A Star program, featuring the likes of John Cena, The Miz and Bryan Danielson meeting with younger kids within a community about not being a bully, but being a star.
Sheamus defeats Dean Ambrose via pinfall The match begins with Sheamus overpowering Ambrose and getting tons of near falls early on. Ambrose gets frustrated and hits an elbow to the throat and hits a series of knees and arms to the stomach and back. He hits a Headlock Driver and gets a near fall. He works The Celtic Warrior for a couple of minutes and goes for another Headlock Driver only for Sheamus to get free and deliver the Brogue Kick. He gets a near fall and Ambrose gets out of the ring, leading to a commercial break. Returning, Sheamus continues to have control in the match for a few minutes and goes for another Brogue Kick, only for Dean to duck under it and hit his signature Headlock Driver. Instead of going for the pin, however, Ambrose decides to beat down Sheamus viciously until the official pulls him away. Sheamus gets up and ducks under a clothesline, hits off of the ropes and returns with another Brogue Kick! He hooks both legs for the win.
Sheamus rises onto his feet and pounds his chest. He steps over to the ropes and raises his arms up, giving a yell to the cheering crowd. He gets himself out of the ring and makes his way towards the back, Ambrose sitting up in the ring and holding his head in frustration of his loss. The cameras cut to the graphic for later on with Dolph Ziggler taking on Big Show, but up next Paul Heyman will be in the arena to speak on behalf of his client, Brock Lesnar.
Returning to the show, the crowd is scanned over. Tony Chimel proceeds to introduce at this time - Paul Heyman. The fans erupt in boos as Heyman makes his way out from the back, adjusting his tie with a smile. He brings himself down to the ring, ignoring the reaction of the crowd. He comes into the ring and takes the microphone from Chimel before rushing him out of the ring. The crowd breaks out into chants of 'You Suck', to which Heyman laughs at. "Keep on chanting, ladies and gentlemen, keep on chanting! You have your opinion, and albeit wrong, you have it!" He tucks his hand into his pocket and pulls the microphone back up to his lips, "Ladies and gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman and I am here on behalf of my client Brock Lesnar. Ten days ago you saw my client rip apart Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and break his ribs. Ten days ago you all saw how vicious my client is and this past Monday on Raw you saw my client sit down with Jim Ross and tell each and every one of you that he would be more than happy to battle Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson if the WWE were willing to give him a contract and in turn that is why I have come here tonight!" Heyman laughs and tucks his hand back in his pocket. "So, Stephanie McMahon, oh great commissioner I am not asking for an answer right now but I do anticipate one this Monday Night on Raw! Thank yo very much!" He begins to make his way towards the rope but the Commissioner's theme song hits.
Stephanie brings herself out to the ramp with a smile and a microphone and she stares right at Paul. "Mr. Heyman, with all due respect, I do appreciate the talent of your client Brock Lesnar and I had anticipated that he would be here with you tonight. Unfortunately he is not and I am not quite sure why you have wasted the time of all of these people!' The fans cheer for the comments as Heyman backs up to the middle of the ring and hangs his head down. "However, Paul, I will let this one slide but I will not give you an answer tonight, which you said yourself is just fine. However, if you want an answer on Monday I insist that you bring your client, Brock Lesnar, along with you as it will increase your chances of getting what you desire." Stephanie's music hits once again and she makes her way to the back, leaving Heyman to his thoughts in the middle of the ring.
Christian and Cody Rhodes defeat Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Ryback via pinfall The match starts off with Rollins and Rhodes mixing things up with each other. Rollins uses his aggressive and effective style to get the upper hand and overpowers Rhodes, leading to a tag to Ryback. The big guy comes in and beats down on Rhodes himself and begins to make some frequent tags with Rollins. After Rollins is rocked with a springboard kick to the face, Rhodes makes a tag to Christian and he comes in with a surge of momentum. Ryback manages to get a tag from Rollins but he comes in, misses a clothesline and is rolled up for the three count by Christian!
Christian pops up onto his feet with a smile and slips out of the ring, backing up with Rhodes. They laugh at their opponents as they sit in the ring in frustration. Rollins storms around and gets right into the face of Ryback, giving him a shove. Ryback, in frustration, takes Rollins by the waist and lifts him up. He charges to the corner and slams him back first into the turnbuckles! Ryback proceeds to go and deliver Shell Shocked right in the middle of the ring. He stares back up the ramp to Christian and Rhodes as they make their way to the back.
The cameras pan backstage to show Bryan Danielson making his way towards the ring with a smile on his face. He faces Alberto Del Rio in a rematch from ten days ago up next.
Returning, a graphic appears for Monday Night Raw where Chris Jericho will host the Highlight Reel with CM Punk before their match at No Way Out. Also - just learned moments ago - Brock Lesnar will be on hand along with Paul Heyman to discuss his possible official return to WWE.
Bryan Danielson defeats United States Champion Alberto Del Rio via pinfall in a non-title match The match starts off with Del Rio attacking Danielson viciously just as he did on Monday, but Danielson manages to fight back with his fast paced and smash mouth style. He gets Del Rio to the mat multiple times and fails to lock in submission holds. Del Rio begins to work the arm after catching Danielson with a flapjack. He tries to get the signature armbar in but Danielson manages to escape. Del Rio tries to hit a superkick but it is caught, leading to Bryan knocking him back to the corner. The Money in the Bank holder proceeds to launch off the ropes and hit the running knees to the face. Del Rio collapses to the mat and Bryan covers him for the three count.
Danielson gets onto his feet and hoists his briefcase high above his head, chanting "Yes!" along with the crowd. He follows up by climbing to the second turnbuckle near the announce table and continuing his celebration with the fans.
Returning, Cody Rhodes is backstage talking to his brother Goldust, whom isn't wearing any of his make up. Christian walks up and offers Cody a handshake and tells him that it was a good match earlier. As he is about to walk off, however, Randy Orton steps up to them. "How ever so adorable this is." Orton laughs and looks to the two of them, and then Goldust. "Hey Dustin, how you feeling after that RKO I laid on you last week?" The Viper laughs and Cody steps forward, getting in Orton's face. Goldust pulls Cody away, however, and Orton backs off slowly, laughing some more.
The cameras swing to ringside as Michael Cole and Josh Mathews discuss momentarily about how twisted Orton has been lately. They turn to discuss what happened earlier on where Paul Heyman came out to talk about his client Brock Lesnar's potential return to the WWE, and Stephanie McMahon telling Heyman to bring Lesnar with him to Raw. This Monday, 'The Beast' will be here.
The cameras head backstage once more, with Matt Striker introducing his guest at this time to be Big Show. He asks Show about having the chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler tonight and what his thoughts are on what he said earlier. "Man, Dolph just tries to get out of anything. He isn't even a true champion. I've been hurt in the past but if he thinks that I am going to get hurt here tonight then he is mistaken. I am going to take my and, ball it up into a fist and knock him out. Then I'll place my foot on his chest with his out cold... and show just how dangerous of a threat I am to his title at No Way Out." Show heads off, as the main event is up next!
Big Show defeats World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler via disqualification in a non-title match The match begins with Ziggler trying to knock Show off his feet but, unsurprisingly, not being successful. The World's Largest Athlete takes Ziggler by the neck and throws him against the corner, beating down on him viciously. He continues to work Dolph for a short while until Ziggler manages to escape and get out of the ring. Dolph dropkicks the steel steps into Show's legs once he comes to the outside. A commercial break interrupts and upon the return, Ziggler keeps Show down on his hands and knees in the ring for a couple minutes by working him repeatedly. Show manages to get up after a missed running kick and he knocks Ziggler down with a huge big boot. As Show begins to gather some momentum, however, Mark Henry comes down to the ring and clubs Show from behind. Dean Ambrose soon joins in as well and he hops in, beating down Show and the official having no choice but to call for the bell.
Ambrose, Henry and Ziggler all stomp away at Show as he collapses to the mat. They refuse to stop at the referee's pleas, leading to Rob Van Dam and Sheamus coming down to the ring. They stay on the outside, however, and stare in. They motion the others away from Big Show and get in, the Celtic Warrior hitting the Brogue Kick. RVD then goes to the top rope and nails the Five Star Frog Splash! The five all stand around Show's downed body before turning on each other, breaking out into a brawl. Multiple officials come down to the ring in an effort to stop things. Stephanie McMahon's music hits and the Commissioner brings herself out to the ramp. She holds a microphone in her hands and yells at the group to stop what they are doing. "Now, I know that none of you are getting along right now but next week here on Smackdown you'll have no choice but to! Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose and Mark Henry... you will be taking on Rob Van Dam, Sheamus and Big Show!" The crowd pops for the announcement of next week's match as Smackdown comes to an end.

Smackdown Review
I love the way that you opened up Smackdown with the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, and going on and on bragging about how he is the World Heavyweight Champion and how he is going to stay that way for a long, long time only for him to call out Big Show and instead he gets the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase holder Bryan Danielson who comes out and he reminds Dolph that he has his briefcase and Danielson is right he could cash in his briefcase at any time any where so Dolph's days as champion could very well be numbered so Dolph better grow eyes in the back of his head because like that he could lose the title either inside the Chamber or if Dolph by some miracle is able to escape the Chamber Match in one piece Danielson could cash in on him right after the Chamber Match hell he could cash it in tonight or on RAW or even the RAW after No Way Out, either way Dolph won't be champion for long that's for sure
RVD beating Mark Henry was definitely the right call for having RVD go over Henry because it gives RVD even more momentum heading into No Way Out in the Smackdown Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship, RVD could be the favorite in this match considering he's been in Chamber Matches before, RVD was in the 2002 Chamber the first-ever one, and then he was in the ECW Chamber in 2006, so RVD has that experience being in the Chamber but Mark Henry this will be his first Chamber Match and he too could also be a favorite in there but honestly Big Show hands down has got to be the favorite
PTP backstage segment definitely hypes up their match for No Way Out for the WWE Tag Team Championship having to face Kings of Wrestling but tonight Young having to face Cesaro, that can't be an easy task
Antonio Cesaro one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions beats Darren Young one half of the #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Darren Young, definitely the momentum has shifted back to the WWE Tag Team Champions but the better question being can PTP get it done at No Way Out and become the new WWE Tag Team Champions? Or will the Kings of Wrestling still reign supreme in the WWE Tag Team Division?
Sheamus beating Dean Ambrose in a great match, really just a great match altogether, Sheamus also has got to be one of the favorites heading into the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber but Dean Ambrose has got to be the wild card for this match, he has got to be a darkhorse considering Ambrose his mentor, The Undertaker was in an Elimination Chamber Match no Undertaker was in 3 Chamber Matches, 2008, 2009 and 2010 so Taker had that experience and with Ambrose the protege going into his first Chamber, this could be Dean Ambrose's coming out party because this match could definitely suit Ambrose's character
It seems Brock Lesnar is going to get a contract and if he does then I can definitely see Brock facing The Rock at WrestleMania 29, and if it happens then what a stage for Brock vs Rock II to happen considering the last time these 2 ever faced one another in the ring was SummerSlam 2002, 11 years ago when Brock Lesnar was a rookie and he beat The Rock that night to become the youngest WWE Champion in history, Brock went on to become the WWE Undisputed Champion and Rock left WWE after that to go to Hollywood, so you set the stage for a rematch 11 years later in 2013, I know I for one want to see it happen
Could that have been a face turn from Ryback that we just saw? Ryback turning on his partner Rollins lifting him up for Shell Shocked, I was even shocked at that, because why? I don't get why Ryback just did what he did costing Rollins and himself the match but also leaving Christian and Cody Rhodes in one piece, I wonder if Ryback could be turning face again? If he is...then I really hope Ryback gets a monster push back into the main event where Ryback belongs to be quite honest but for Christian and Cody Rhodes these 2 men along with Ryback and Rollins are all in the RAW Chamber for the WWE Championship, so any one of them could win the WWE Championship now
Danielson beating Del Rio again, it makes me wonder if Del Rio will be on a downward spiral similar to MVP when MVP went on a humongous losing streak back in 2008, I wonder if Del Rio will go on that same losing streak because he has seemingly lost match after match but he is still the WWE United States Champion but for how much longer before he loses that? Meanwhile Danielson on the other hand he is pretty much destined to become World Heavyweight Champion sooner rather than later because he has his Money in the Bank briefcase that he has still yet to cash in, Danielson has until WrestleMania 29 to cash in his briefcase doesn't he not?
Love that Orton segment with the Rhodes Brothers, Orton needs to become The Viper of Old and instead of trying to play mind games with the Rhodes Brothers, Orton should have just attacked the both of them seemingly for no reason at all because he can, that would have been so much better, with Orton punting either Goldust or Cody Rhodes or even both of them, which then would have put Orton over even more as a vicious, dangerous psychotic Viper
Big Show, you just gotta love him, especially when he talks about knocking people out, yes probably the biggest threat in the Smackdown Chamber probably the biggest threat to Dolph's title and if Dolph gets knocked out, remember Danielson could cash in his briefcase
And the main event just ending in chaos, in an absolute melee only for the Commissioner Stephanie McMahon to come out and make the announcement that Ambrose, Ziggler and Henry will all be teaming together in a 6-man tag against Show, RVD and Sheamus, how can these teams co-exist especially if they all want the same thing? That being the World Heavyweight Championship something Ziggler possesses temporarily because let's not forget about Danielson here, these 2 teams will turn on each other namely Big Show will turn on RVD and Sheamus because they attacked him and not to mention Ziggler will probably walk out on Ambrose and Henry leaving them to get attacked unless Big Show knocks out all 5 of them and he is the only one left standing
Either way 10 more days until Elimination Chamber

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 28th January 2013...Mr McMahon opening up the show was perhaps the best choice to go with, discussing CM Punk's victory at the Royal Rumble last night. Hmm, I'm not too fond of the Commissioner job role returning if I'm honest, but I don't mind the decision for Stephanie McMahon to become Commissioner - and an explosive start to her reign with John Cena facing Ryback for the WWE Championship. A big episode of RAW set up for tonight. "Twitter voting"? I see somebody hasn't debuted the WWE App. A solid win for Dolph Ziggler against Rob Van Dam, as Ziggler continues his reign as World Heavyweight Champion. Sheamus seemingly continuing his pursuit of Ziggler is annoying, I think he's had one too many title opportunities at this stage. Stephanie McMahon granting William Regal another opportunity at the WWE Intercontinental Champion sure is nice of her, but I can't see Seth Rollins being dethroned just yet. Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Maryse defeating Layla, Kelly Kely and Aksana was fine, not too much to add to that. Strange segment with Kaitlyn being injured, but I'm game for wherever that's headed. A decent promo from Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar next, as they discuss why they want to get their hands on The Rock, which may need some explaining since it's been eleven years since their last encounter (which Brock won). I'm not too fond of Rock and Brock already having a brawl, I feel like this encounter could have drawn big if you had paced it for a couple of weeks of Brock and Paul riling up Rock. Maybe that's just preference though, and naturally Brock dominated here. I guess this is the ideal injury angle for Rock to take some time out and return "bigger than ever". Bryan Danielson and Alberto Del Rio would have had a slightly difficult time following that segment, but a good win for Danielson against the irrelevant WWE United States Championship holder. Rollins is appearing much stronger than Del Rio at the moment as midcard champions. Cody Rhodes and Goldust making their way into this diary is good, and a fine cowardly win for Rhodes and Goldust by count-out makes Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesaro gain more heat. I assume that a WWE Tag Team Championship change is inevitable with this booking, but I could see you having Ohno and Cesaro retain the gold. Good segment with Dean Ambrose, I enjoyed this. Up next, another big match between Randy Orton and Christian, with the right man getting the win here. Christian may never live up to main event gold again if he remains a face. I just believe he operates much better as a heel. Strange moment for Orton to continue the attack on Christian, not too sure what to think of that. Angry Orton makes sense, though. Mark Henry defeating Zack Ryder was no surprise, as Henry needed to regain some momentum. And lastly, John Cena beating Ryback was expected, another good defense of the WWE Championship, but it shall be interesting to see how you manage Ryback from here, having suffered two big defeats in twenty-four hours. Ah, CM Punk gets talk time to close the show, that's an interesting decision after this big main event. A solid promo from Punk, re-implementing the fact that he's the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble match. Nothing special outside of Punk's comments, but it certainly wasn't worth being the closing segment for the show. I think it would have been better suited elsewhere in the show, but it's not like you had too much room with this two hour format. Overall, a good fallout from the Royal Rumble for RAW, it shall be interesting to see where you go from here.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 31st January 2013...Stephanie McMahon with another lacklustre promo (I hate her voice so much, what a terrible actress). Good announcement for WWE No Way Out in a few weeks, but I'm not looking forward to yet another match between Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus. Oh, good thing it's actually an Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship, just to freshen things up. I miss the days where superstars actually qualified in matches for a spot in the Chamber, though. I hate all of this automatic announcing boll*cks. A good line-up nonetheless, with Dean Ambrose, Rob Van Dam, Big Show and Mark Henry all being good contenders to the gold. I see Ziggler or Ambrose walking out as World Champion, though. And up next, a solid opening contest between two of those superstars, Ambrose and Rob Van Dam. This would have been a treat to see in ECW, I'm sure. Ambrose getting the win is fine; of course Van Dam isn't going to win at Elimination Chamber, he's mainly used to put over younger stars in this role. Which works for me as he can very easily regain momentum, given his status in his career over the years. Personally, I'd have preferred Ambrose to face RVD in the first hour main event, but nonetheless. Seth Rollins retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship against William Regal again was expected, but should have opened the show, being the only match announced prior to the show. Another clean victory here. I see why Mark Henry and Big Show had the first-hour main event, given their size and all. Henry defeating Show was fine for what it was, no complaints. Strange finish though, and the attack after the match from Henry was fine. It's no 2011 feud though, I'll tell you that. Beth Phoenix defeating Kelly Kelly was fair, another victory for the WWE Divas Champion, and I anticipate that when Kaitlyn recovers, she'll be in contention for the title. Chris Jericho wanting a piece of CM Punk sounds good, and it shall be a great match, which I'm sure will be used to once again ensure Punk as a contender to the WWE Championship coming up to WrestleMania XXIX. Up next, six-man tag team action in two rematches from RAW was solid, as Randy Orton, Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesaro defeats Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Christian. A fine six-man tag team match, but a little late in the show, I believe. Especially with Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus positioned after this match. I'd have preferred this as a first-hour main event over Show and Henry's angle of a match. Orton laying out Goldust was a nice feature, I wonder how Cody will respond. A second Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship is coming up...blah. I was never keen on the idea of two Chamber matches in one night, really. I hope at least they have to qualify for this one. Probably not. And lastly, in the tired rivalry, Sheamus defeats Dolph Ziggler to regain some momentum going into Elimination Chamber...yet weakening Ziggler some more. A lot of interference was expected, given the circumstance in a few weeks. Overall, this was another week for SmackDown, nothing too big or dramatic occurring. I'd have repositioned some of the matches, mainly the Show and Henry & six-man tag bouts, but apart from that, was what was expected. A decent week for WWE television coming out of the Royal Rumble.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BROCK LESNAR ON RAW by A.J. Mathews 2/10/13
With Paul Heyman appearing on Smackdown and entertaining the idea of Brock Lesnar signing an official contract with the WWE, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon told Paul to bring his beast of a client to Monday Night Raw. With Lesnar planned to show up, what can be expected? Will a deal be struck? Will The Rock be in town as well? Will Lesnar refuse?
Paul Heyman speaks on behalf of his client, Brock Lesnar. (Monday Night Raw 1/28/13, credit to WWE.com)
Brock Lesnar returned at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 27 and targeted The Rock. After an explanation the following night of Lesnar's disgust in The Rock being handed the opportunity to star in the WWE once again after the fact that Lesnar himself defeated Dwayne Johnson at Summerslam back in 2002, things grew clear. Following their explanation of things, however, The Rock would appear only to have his ribs broken by the former UFC Champion. The question at hand: What is there to expect of Lesnar on Raw?
'The Beast', as he has been dubbed as of late, will be showing up on Monday Night Raw. We can confirm that much. It wouldn't be logical whatsoever for this to be built up and Lesnar not to show (barring an emergency) so there is nothing to worry about there. What is to happen, however, is what is unknown. If things go smoothly between Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Stephanie McMahon and the trio come to terms of a deal that would make Brock an official superstar... well, that would certainly be a surprise. Honestly, when does anything involving Heyman or Lesnar go smoothly?
It is possible that a contract could already be made up and a signing is set to take place and The Rock could return after two weeks to confront the man whom single handed cost him the Royal Rumble and then broke his ribs. Some, however, don't think this will likely happen as The Rock has grown accustom to not showing up on a consistent basis. Nonetheless, we can anticipate The Rock to either show up and not be shocked or not show up and not be shocked.
But then what? If Lesnar's biggest rival doesn't show up to stop a contract signing or a verbal agreement, what is the big deal?
Ah, that's why I am addressing this issue and why it is hard to believe that things will go down to lock Lesnar up in the WWE. Not on Monday Night Raw, anyway. It is very believable that Heyman or Lesnar could disagree to the terms that Stephanie McMahon has and walk out. That, or things could go quickly south and some type of outside diversion that isn't known as The Rock could bring things to a hault. Say, a returning Vince McMahon? A returning Triple H? But, then again, that would bring a distraction to the feud Lesnar is obvious here for as of right now.
The excitement factor remains with not knowing exactly what will happen. One thing is for sure, though, it won't be boring as long as Paul Heyman is speaking or Brock Lesnar is acting. |
