AUGUST 21, 2014 FROM THE U.S. AIRWAYS CENTER IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA
The Smackdown intro video airs and following it, the cameras pan in to the U.S. Airways Center from Phoenix, Arizona! Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everyone to the show where tonight, the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line inside of a Steel Cage! It'll be AJ Styles, whom just won the title back twenty four hours after losing it, defending the title against his recent rival, Seth Rollins. Also tonight, we will have the Smackdown debut of the tag team - The New Day - consisting of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
The theme music of Seth Rollins hits and the Phoenix crowd boos him as he storms his way out from the back with his masked security team. He gets in to the ring and shakes his head, a microphone in his hand as he runs his other hand through his hair in frustration. "Yeah, yeah... go ahead! Laugh it up! Laugh it up how I lost the Intercontinental Championship on Raw Monday night!" He looks around the arena and tells the fans that they can make fun of him all they want about it, but the fact of the matter is he is a two-time Intercontinental Champion and after his Steel Cage Match later on tonight with AJ Styles, he is going to be a three-time champion! "And if it weren't for CM Punk, we wouldn't be talking about me being a three-time Intercontinental Champion... no, no, no... because I'd still be standing here with that title because I earned it! I walked in to Summerslam and I did what I said I was going to do and that is beat AJ Styles and not only take his Intercontinental Championship but keep my Money in the Bank briefcase and it is a fact that when I say I am going to do something I go out there and I do it!" He raises up his briefcase and says he told everyone he was going to win this back in June and he went right in to Money in the Bank and won. He then says he walked in to Summerslam, said he would take the Intercontinental Championship and he went right in to the Staples Center and won and after he wins here tonight, he is going to take CM Punk and Curb Stomp his head in to the mat!
Before Rollins can say anything more, 'Cult of Personality' hits and out comes CM Punk to a big ovation from the U.S. Airways Center. He comes down to the ring and stands across from Seth and his security team, a sly grin across his face. "Gee, Seth, instead of you waiting to inevitably lose to AJ Styles later on tonight... why don't you do us all a favor and shut your mouth and just try and Curb Stomp my head in to the mat right now?" He steps forward and the crowd pops at the challenge, Rollins frustrated as he looks around not doing anything. Punk throws his hands up and says that comes to no surprise to him. "Hell, I'll give you credit where credit is due, Seth and the only credit you deserve is you really know how to kiss the ass of Eric Bischoff... I mean, the guy got the job as General Manager, gave me a call to come back at Money in the Bank and even after he gave me the chance to come back he still hit me in the back with a steel chair and basically handed the Money in the Bank briefcase over to you... but I've been a little busy with some other stuff. Some other stuff as in... Kevin Owens." He shrugs his shoulders and says that is all said and done now and back when he first returned, he made a promise that after he was done with Owens he was going to come and get Rollins and come and get Bischoff and now he is making good on that promise. The crowd gives a cheer as Rollins bites down on his lip, quick to bring the microphone back up and snap at Punk. "I don't give a crap, Punk!" He shouts while pointing his finger. "You've got a problem with me and I've got a problem with you and I'd be more than happy to drive your stupid face in to the mat!" As the WWE Universe grows anxious and Punk encourages Rollins to bring it on, they aren't able to get physical with each other as the theme music of Eric Bischoff hits, the General Manager marching his way out to the stage telling both Punk and Rollins to settle down. "Seth, you've got your match with AJ Styles later on and I think it would be the best interest of everyone if you didn't put yourself in harms way by getting in to a fight right now..." The crowd obviously disagrees, but Bischoff continues on. "As for you, Punk! You want to stick your nose in the business of myself and my top investment, do you? Well let me tell you something..." Punk cuts him off, telling him to shut up because he is just as annoying as 'Captain Kiss Ass' behind him - referring to Rollins. He tells Bischoff that he'll tell him something and it is the exact same thing he just told Rollins, he is going to get him back for what happened back at Money in the Bank because anybody that screws him over, has to Go To Sleep! After another pop from the crowd, Bischoff gulps and tells Punk that he has heard enough out of him tonight and that is why he is putting him in a match right here, right now! He heads through the curtains as Punk looks to Rollins, the theme music of Wade Barrett soon hitting! The leader of The Commonwealth, in the midst of troubled times, comes out with what is left of his stable of just William Regal, Adam Rose and Drew McIntyre. Rollins and his security team exit the ring as Barrett and Punk face off in the opening contest - next!
CM Punk vs Wade Barrett (w/The Commonwealth): The bell rings and the two lock up with one another after circling the ring, Punk dragging Barrett to the mat repeatedly and getting total control. He laughs at Barrett's frustration and ends up rocking him with a kick to the back of the head that results in a near fall. After Punk dominates for the first couple of minutes, Rose grabs his foot from the outside and it allows Barrett to drop him with a boot to the face! Barrett begins working the back and slams Punk multiple times, getting two count after two count. Punk starts to come back and sets Barrett up in the corner, going for his signature knee only to be caught and tossed face first in to the steel post! He lands on the apron and Barrett hits him with another boot, this time sending him down to the floor on the outside. With Barrett taking control of the match, a commercial break comes in. After the time away, Barrett remains in control as he keeps Punk grounded. Every time he gets up, he drops him down again. Punk ducks away from a clothesline attempt and comes off the ropes, flying back with a forearm to the face. As he starts to get things going again, Barrett delivers a devastating Winds of Change slam off the ropes! He hooks both legs but once again, Punk kicks out at two. Barrett begins a vicious beat down but gets maybe too frustrated, as Punk trips him face first in to the corner and runs to the other side of the ring, bouncing off and returning with a high knee to the chin! He hits a second and a third one before hitting a bulldog, getting on to his feet. He goes right to the top rope and after pointing to the sky in homage of Randy Savage, he delivers the big elbow drop! He gets to his feet and folds his hands to the side of his face with a grin, looking out to Barrett's members of The Commonwealth on the outside before pulling Barrett up, lifting him on to his shoulders and dropping him with the Go To Sleep! He hooks the inside leg for the one, two, three. CM Punk def. Wade Barrett in 10:50.
Punk gets back on to his feet and begins the celebration with the crowd, a smile across his face as Barrett slowly crumbles on to the floor on the outside as The Commonwealth just looks down to their leader, as everything seems to be falling apart for him as of late.
Following the break, The Commonwealth are seen walking backstage with their heads hung low and up walks the General Manager, Eric Bischoff, with a disappointed look. "You couldn't get the job done once again, could you Wade?" He says, Barrett looking up at him. Bischoff just shakes his head and points to the rest of the group, telling the trio that they're going to be back out there later on tonight in action against the new team on the block, The New Day. "Maybe... just maybe, you guys can show your leader here what winning is." He heads off, leaving Barrett frustrated as he turns to his men, shakes his head and storms off in disgust. Adrian Neville vs Bo Dallas: The match starts off with Dallas trying to encourage Neville on to 'Bo-lieve', only for Adrian to kick him right in the face! He completely goes off and Dallas fails to get back in to the contest, getting rattled with a leaping DDT that results in a close two count. After Neville goes across the ring on his hands, however, Dallas takes his legs with a forearm to the knees, beginning a beat down to keep Neville grounded. 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' rolls to the outside and Dallas follows, only to get dropped with a superkick! Neville gets to the apron and takes a moment before hitting a big springboard moonsault! Dallas rolls around on the floor and Adrian tosses him back in to the ring, going to the top rope. The crowd grows anxious as they await the Red Arrow, which Neville delivers! He hooks both legs for the pinfall victory. Adrian Neville def. Bo Dallas in 4:09. Neville gets back up but before he even has a chance to celebrate, in to the ring from behind comes Cody Rhodes! He takes the legs out from behind and starts a beat down with shots to the face, refusing to let up! He throws some stomps to the knee and then rolls out of the ring, throwing the bad knee of Neville in to the steel post! The referee gets right up to Rhodes, telling him to back down. Cody simply smirks as he backs away, clearly having a target in Neville as he has now assaulted him twice this week. The official checks on Adrian as he cringes in pain.
The fans are delighted as the theme music of the United States Champion Dean Ambrose hits. He makes his way down to the ring and has a bit of a hobble in his step, taking a microphone as he gets in to the ring. "In case you didn't see or hear about it, Phoenix..." He says to a pop for the mention of the city. "This past Monday in Las Vegas we had ourselves a little thing known as Raw Roulette... and conveniently, I ended up getting stuck in a 'Flag Match' with one Rusev..." He twirls his fingers about and says that he doesn't have a problem fighting anybody that wants to fight him, but under these circumstances it was a bit fishy because somehow Eric Bischoff already knew he was going to be in that match with Rusev. "So either our General Manager has a special case of ESP or he's just a giant douche." He shrugs his shoulders and the crowd gets a kick out of the jokes, Ambrose getting a bit more serious as he says it isn't a problem though, he gets it. He gets that Bischoff is probably sick of him running around being the 'Lunatic Fringe' and causing a bunch of havoc, ruining weddings and throwing popcorn at people and just in general being pretty awesome and fun unlike his 'golden boy' Seth Rollins. "But this isn't about Eric Bischoff this is about that big Bulgarian... Russian... whatever the heck he is, I dunno..." Ambrose says he got beat in that Flag Match on Raw and that was fine and dandy, but he has a feeling that Rusev couldn't beat him if it came straight up to a fight, pinfall or submission and all that. He says that he wants to, however, give Rusev his props and therefore has the proposition that next week right here on Smackdown, since we already have the Intercontinental title being defended in the main event tonight, they face for the United States Championship straight up one-on-one! The crowd seems to approve of the idea and Ambrose says some may call him a bit crazy for wanting to get in to the ring with Rusev, but he has no problem with it. "Like I said, I enjoy a fight and I'll fight anyone and Rusev, if you want a shot at this baby right here I got no problem giving it to ya but let it be known that if you take that chance, I'm gonna pound your head in and I'm gonna squeeze it until all that red Russian tomato juice pops out!" He licks his lips and throws the microphone to the mat, hoisting his title belt high up over his head as the WWE Universe cheers him on, Ambrose rolling out of the ring and headed towards the back. The New Day vs The Commonwealth (w/Wade Barrett): McIntyre and Kingston start off, the latter rocking McIntyre repeatedly. He has a positive attitude as he makes frequent tags with Big E, McIntyre scrambling after a clothesline in order to tag in the veteran Regal. He comes in and tries to settle Big E, whom just claps in response with a big smile across his face. "Positive, Willy, positive!" He says, getting hit with a chop to the chest. Regal starts to get going but after hitting off the ropes, he is flattened with a body block by Big E. A tag is made to Woods, whom gets in the ring for the first time in the WWE, hitting repeated arm drags and a couple of DDTs. Regal sends a jab to the eye and hits a hard clothesline afterward. He makes the tag to Rose, whom comes in and starts to work away at Woods on the mat. The New Day, however, starts up a chant of 'New! Day Rocks!', which the crowd hardly gets in to. Woods gets back up, driving elbow after elbow to the gut. He gets free and after flipping Rose to the mat, hits him with a big swooping kick to the face! He hits off the ropes and Big E makes the tag, Woods coming back with a diving fist drop. Kingston rushes in and delivers the Boom Drop! He gets to his feet and along with Woods, tosses the charging Regal and McIntyre over the ropes to the feet of Barrett! Big E comes in to the ring and delivers the Big Ending to Rose, covering him for the three count. The New Day def. The Commonwealth in 6:37. The crowd gives a slight pop for The New Day as they gather in the ring, clapping along with each other as they try to start up a 'New! Day Rocks!' chant with the fans. The Commonwealth gathers together on the outside, Barrett removing his elbow pads and throwing them to the mat with a frustrated look on his face. He shakes his head and storms off to the back as New Day shouts positive messages to the trio they just beat while still clapping along!
A promo video airs for the next upcoming WWE pay-per-view, Night of Champions, with the official theme song, "Fire" by Gavin DeGraw. A voiceover comes in, saying that every single superstar, every single diva dreams one day of becoming a champion. On one night of the year, every championship is absolutely guaranteed to be defended, a night where every champion has no way to avoid giving the opportunity to a challenger, a night that could result in a total turnover on the WWE Universe. This night... is Night of Champions. Live on the WWE Network and pay-per-view on September 21, 2014 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee! Paige vs Summer Rae (w/Fandango): In her first chance to 'start proving herself', Paige runs through Summer Rae quickly with vicious clotheslines and slams. She gets a couple of two counts and seems to grow a bit frustrated, only to show a different side of herself and calm it down a bit, keeping her composure. After a smack in the face from Summer, however, Paige is taken aback and she brings her down to the mat! She slams Rae's head in to the mat over and over and over again, refusing to let up until a count of four. Paige goes for the Ram-Paige but Summer manages to get free and roll her up for a near fall of her own, getting back up fast to hit a kick to the face! She works away at Paige and trash talks in the process, dancing over her even. After choking Paige in the corner with her foot to the throat, Summer takes her time to dance to the crowd, which Fandango just scoffs at. Summer gives him a scowl and turns back, rushing at Paige only to get a boot to the face! Paige follows up by leaping off the second rope with a clothesline, letting her get up just to drop her again with the Ram-Paige! She rolls Rae over on to her back, hooking the inside leg up for the pinfall. Paige def. Summer Rae in 5:05. The former 'Queen of The Commonwealth' gets on to her feet, having her arm raised as the victor. As she celebrates the win, the cameras cut backstage to show Diva's Champion AJ Lee
watching a monitor with a smile. "Good start, Paige. Too bad you'll never get this back." She says with a laugh, swaying from side to side with her title belt over her shoulder.
Returning at ringside, Michael Cole and JBL talk about how this past Monday, we witnessed a very disturbing scene as Bray Wyatt would take hold of Brie Bella, the wife of Bryan Danielson, in order to get himself another WWE Championship match at Night of Champions. Of course, it would be an accepted challenge by Danielson but Wyatt would refuse to give up Brie Bella. Now, this Monday, Wyatt has apparently called for Bryan to forfeit over his WWE Championship belt in order to get his wife handed back over to him! "And John, this situation and this Bray Wyatt is getting more sick and twisted as days go by it seems..." JBL agrees, saying he may not be the biggest fan of our current WWE Champion, but he would never wish any harm to his wife or his family, but it appears Bray Wyatt could care less when it comes to the WWE Championship. We transition over backstage to Renee Young, whom introduces her guest at this time to be the Intercontinental Champion, AJ Styles. He gets a good pop from the crowd as he steps forward with his title over his shoulder, patting it a few times. Renee asks him how it felt to lose the title at Summerslam then win it back twenty four hours later and now having to defend it once again inside of a Steel Cage Match. "It's pretty crazy, isn't it?" He says, adjusting the belt. "Yeah, Seth Rollins got one over on me at Summerslam but if he didn't have some help from two cowards hiding behind masks, he would've never gotten that one over on me... and this past Monday on Raw, yeah, I got a little assistance from CM Punk but turnabouts fair play, Renee, right?" Styles smiles and says that tonight, he gets to step inside a Steel Cage and it will be the ultimate thing to decide all of this between himself and Rollins and he doesn't plan on being on the search to become a three-time Intercontinental Champion after tonight. He heads off for the main event.
Steel Cage Match for the Intercontinental Championship: AJ Styles(c) vs Seth Rollins (w/Masked Security Team): The bell sounds and the two stare down, both looking around at the steel structure around them. After nodding to one another, Rollins smacks Styles! A loud 'ooh' comes from the crowd and AJ snaps, firing away at Rollins. He tosses him in to the cage repeatedly and refuses to let up, 'Mr. Money in the Bank' coming back with a hard low blow kick that drops Styles down to the mat. Rollins begins a ruthless and relentless beat down, refusing to let up as he knows there are no disqualifications. He grinds Styles face against the cage wall and the two masked men get right up against the wall, shouting in Styles' face. Rollins backs up with his hands up over his head and a smile to the crowd as a commercial break comes. After the time away, Cole and JBL go over what happened during the break as Rollins kept control of the match as after Styles started to mount a comeback, he chucked him in to the cage wall. He keeps working away at the head, trash talking Styles in the process. He gets a couple of two counts and grows frustrated with the official, bringing the champion up in to the corner. He sets him up on to the top rope and climbs up with him, hooking hold fo an apparent superplex. AJ manages to fight back, however, fighting away. He eventually sends Rollins crashing to the mat and catches him with a big crossbody after he rises! Styles hooks the legs for a two count and gets right back up, going for the Pele Kick as Rollins gets up, only to be caught and slammed to the mat! Rollins flies off the ropes and returns for the Curb Stomp, Styles managing to avoid it and roll Seth up for another close count of two! The two crawl to opposite sides of the ring and get up slowly, Rollins managing to scramble up the cage! Styles comes charging behind him and he leaps up on to the ropes, hooking a hold of Rollins' waist! The masked security team rush up to the cage door, trying to bust it open! Seth screams for their help and they start to come up the cage wall after they can't get the door open, grabbing Rollins' arms. Styles manages to pull him hard enough, however, to German suplex him off the cage! The two crash and burn and with the crowd behind them, they barely move on the mat. Once again, the security team tries to bust the door open but still can't. They look up the ramp and down comes Eric Bischoff to boos from the crowd! He comes down with a pair of bolt cutters! He hands it over to one of the masked men and he starts to work away at the lock, eventually snapping it off! With the crowd booing, the security team enters the ring and takes hold of Rollins' arms, bringing him on to his feet. They start to bring him over to the door but the riff of 'Cult of Personality' hits! CM Punk runs his way out down the ramp with a steel chair in his hands, coming right up to the door. He swings it right in to the arm of one of the security team members as he is coming through the ropes, letting him drop to the floor on the outside. The other masked man leans between the ropes and Punk takes the opportunity to swing the cage door in to him! Rollins is hit at the same time and he falls back in to the ring, Punk growing a big grin across his face with his eyes wide towards Bischoff! He stands on the steel steps with the chair over his head as Styles makes the climb up the cage, stopping himself at the top. He takes a moment to look all around the arena and the WWE Universe goes wild, Styles making everyone's heart skip a beat as he delivers the Spiral Tap from the top of the cage on Rollins! The U.S. Airways Center completely explodes as he crawls back over towards Rollins, draping his arm over the chest for the three count! AJ Styles def. Seth Rollins to retain the Intercontinental Championship in 20:33. The building continues to go wild as we are met with multiple replays of the finish to the match. After all the replays, we come back in to the arena as the cage is slowly lifted up to the ceiling. Rollins slowly rolls out of the ring in to the arms of his security team as Punk gets in to the ring to help Styles back on to his feet, holding his arm up in the air with a grin towards Rollins, his security team and Bischoff. The referee brings Styles the Intercontinental Championship and he composes himself enough to raise it up high over his head, as the corrupt relationship of Rollins and Bischoff has been thwarted once again! Thursday Night Smackdown comes to an end.

Right off the bat, I feel like this will be a huge Smackdown because you have Steel Cage match in your title. Now on to the show. A great opening promo segment from all parties involved, certainly bringing a spark to this monumental show. CM Punk vs Wade Barrett? I'm down. Punk winning was for the best, you have a good grasp of his character. Good win for Adrian Neville, a feud with Cody Rhodes should be interesting. Dean Ambrose vs Rusev would be a good hard hitting match, I hope you deliver on it. New Day? A good win for them. Make sure they get the POP! Paige with a victory is nice. This is a huge main event that boosts the credibility of the Intercontinental championship. You have a great feud going on between these two, and I hope it builds to a potential PPV main event. Good show mate.

- Starting the show off with Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and his Masked Security team, I get why, I mean Rollins is not only in the main event tonight for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a 15 foot high Steel Cage but also he addresses just how he lost his title to Styles mainly due in part to CM Punk sticking his nose where it didn't belong and of course Rollins should be pissed because if it wasn't for Punk getting involved then Rollins would still be champion right now but Rollins he still has Money in the Bank and he can cash in at any time to become WWE Champion but also he is a 2 time IC Champion but can he make it a 3rd? Speaking of Punk for him to interrupt Rollins I mean the seeds were planted and the rivalry between Punk and Rollins has basically elevated and add the Eric Bischoff factor I can see this leading to Punk vs Rollins at Night of Champions
- CM Punk beating the leader of The Commonwealth, Wade Barrett to start off Smackdown, I mean it seems whatever Bischoff tries to throw at Punk he always manages to throw it back at Bischoff and outsmart him but it seems nothing seems to be going Barrett's way, I mean he loses his girlfriend Paige well she broke up with him and he lost whatever opportunities he had at the WWE Intercontinental or WWE United States Championships and Sandow left The Commonwealth I mean Barrett in a sense he has become a broken man not only beaten but broken
- Barrett being scolded backstage by Bischoff I mean could we eventually see a babyface turn of Wade Barrett? I mean if Barrett continues on this losing streak of his that he is on, this reminds me so much of when MVP was a heel in WWE and he went on a huge losing streak ended up losing so much money ended up losing everything until he started winning again and turned babyface so I wonder if that is what is happening or what will happen with Barrett? The Commonwealth of Regal, Rose and McIntyre facing The New Day of Woods, Kofi and Big E. I think that is a great idea on Bischoff's part, love Bischoff taking a dig at Barrett, I wonder what Barrett will do now?
- Adrian Neville beating Bo Dallas, it seems Neville his new winning streak continues I mean he beat Rhodes on RAW considering it was by DQ but still it seems ever since Adrian's first loss in WWE against Rollins he has more or less bounced back since then but at what cost? Cody Rhodes attacking Neville yet again trying to injure Neville I think it is safe to say he has done that now, I love this psychotic Cody Rhodes I really do because Cody has become more ruthless much more ruthless, psychotic, more maniacal than ever and I love it
- Ambrose giving Rusev an opportunity at the WWE United States Championship, I don't know if Ambrose is just stupid or if he is just that arrogant because has he not seen what Rusev has done? What Rusev is capable of? I mean the man is undefeated in WWE he hasn't lost a match yet and considering Rusev beat Ambrose in a Flag Match I wonder if Ambrose really should be putting his title on the line? If he does we could be looking at the next WWE United States Champion and his name is Rusev, no doubt Rusev accepts Ambrose's challenge
- The New Day it seems they are babyfaces as they beat The Commonwealth of Regal, Rose and McIntyre I mean nothing seems to be going The Commonwealth's way tonight I mean they have been losing quite a lot recently but maybe I think The Commonwealth they have lost their touch they are not as ruthless anymore as others would like to believe but as for Woods, Kofi and Big E. they are on a roll especially now that they have burst on to the scene as a stable but will that culminate into WWE Tag Team Championship gold?
- Night of Champions building up even more than it already is, I mean it is one of my favorite PPVs and why? Because every title in the WWE is on the line well every title is defended at Night of Champions so there is that but also the Elimination Chase comes to an end too
- Del Rio and Orton as for them I mean how are these 2 able to co-exist? I mean these 2 not only have huge massive egos but both men are in the Elimination Chase as far as the WWE Championship goes so how could these 2 not turn on each other given their history?
- Paige beating Summer Rae, I mean that's a start but she is still not deserving of a WWE Divas Championship match she is going to have to do a lot more than that, I mean beating Summer Rae was no easy task but still Paige got the job done but will AJ give her a title match? Paige is going to have to do a lot more by beating more divas than just Summer Rae
- Bray Wyatt still has the WWE Champion Danielson's wife Brie Bella, I would have figured that Bray would have let her go by now or that Danielson would have gotten his wife back? But Danielson I mean what is he to do? I mean he is the WWE Champion but Bray says that if Danielson doesn't give him the title then Lord can only know just what else Wyatt will do to Brie?
- And in the main event AJ Styles beats Rollins again to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship in the Steel Cage despite the interference from The Masked Security Team and Eric Bischoff the GM, Punk with yet another assist yet again coming to AJ Styles' aid but in the end it didn't matter because Styles still got the job done he beat Rollins to retain his title but I loved that high-flying spot of AJ Styles giving Rollins the Spiral Tap from off the top of the cage that was awesome, a real f****** thing of beauty

I'm sorry I haven't commented on this much, but I gotta tell you that your Summerslam was pretty good. I mean you get to have Rollins as the Intercontinental Champion only to lose it for one more day with AJ Styles thanks to CM Punk. I'm really surprised you haven't done the CM Punk/AJ Lee relationship in this diary at all and since you've started this Rollins vs Punk feud, I think Rollins should go ahead and mention Punk's wife in this. But those masked men, who are they, I don't know. Then the Styles/Rollins feud continues on SMACKDOWN with a steel cage with CM Punk interefering again and costing Rollins the Intercontinental Title once again. I am surprised that Rusev beat another former World Champion in Kane, is Rusev likely going to get a chance at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, i'll give him some time, build Rusev up. Have him win the Royal Rumble in January and headline WrestleMania and if Daniel Bryan is champion, then we can see a Bryan/Rusev match at WrestleMania 31. Also Cena vs Cesaro was good, but the disrespect Cesaro showed to Cena was just disrespect, and then you have Kevin Owens defeat CM Punk in possibly the best one-on-one win in Owens's career defeating Punk and sure he won the match and his little buddy boys retained their titles against Orton and Del Rio. We have Reigns and Lesnar with Lesnar taking Reigns and serving him a total beatdown. And then Danielson retains the WWE Title against Wyatt at Summerslam only to have Wyatt kidnap Danielson's wife the next night on RAW and agreeing to a WWE Championship Match at Night of Champions and he has Brie now, will Daniel try and save Brie from the sadistic Bray Wyatt. Also speaking of couples, It looks like Paige is no longer in the Commonwealth and has been dumped by The Entire Commonwealth, can't say I'm surprised about that. And we are setting up for a big feud with Dean Ambrose defending his U.S. Title against oddly enough Rusev. And now we are going to have an Elimination Chase at Night of Champions, and one person's already been eliminated. And it's no surprise Cesaro. And we got 5 left, Del Rio, Orton, Owens, Cena and Reigns. I can somehow see Owens vs Reigns one on one at Night of Champions and if he defeats Reigns and goes on to face either Daniel Bryan or Bray Wyatt for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship soon, both Bryan and Wyatt need to be put on notice. Glad to see Godfather back for one night against Tyson Kidd as well unfortunately he lost. And also speaking of I mentioned the Commonwealth another guy is out of the Commonwealth and that is Damien Mizdow who is joining The Miz just like in real-life. But I'm wondering why Rollins is kissing up to Bischoff is another thing too. I'm thinking that Rollins is blackmailing Bischoff so that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon can return to the WWE. Or maybe if Bischoff and Rollins are working together to rid of CM Punk. And for my final topic on your diary is definitely Sting vs The Undertaker. Undertaker played the mind games once again at Summerslam, but I think it's a possible good chance that we see Taker vs Sting at WrestleMania 32. The Phenom definitely needs to get a win over Sting, the streak goes 22-1. And that could be a chance to end Taker's career at WrestleMania against Sting.

Goddammit, AJ. You progress quickly af. Briefly going over SummerSlam, it was a grand event. Expected outcomes for the most part, obviously aside from the WWE Championship match. Rather disappointed that Bray Wyatt didn't become champion. Ending The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak called for a Wyatt title run almost immediately. He hasn't looked as strong as he should and losing to Bryan Danielson takes him a couple of steps backwards. RAW, however, was a step in the right direction for Wyatt. NOW he should be guaranteed to become WWE Champion at Night of Champions, leading to an appropriate Hell in a Cell match in October between the two. AJ Styles regaining the Intercontinental Championship was partially expected, just maybe not that quickly. I'm intrigued by the number one contender scene filling up with numerous talent. The Elimination Chase is a great idea, though it sucked for Alberto Del Rio to have been the first one eliminated. Assuming that the winner will challenge Wyatt, it has to be either Cena or Orton winning. Roman Reigns' time will likely come at WrestleMania.
Onto SmackDown for a full reply, a great opening segment with Seth Rollins and CM Punk. I love that Punk never forgot about Rollins and Eric Bischoff screwing him over at Money in the Bank. Certainly, Punk will find some way to ruin Rollins' rematch tonight against AJ Styles, even with the Steel Cage implemented this time. Punk defeating Wade Barrett made for a fine opening contest, though it is sad to see Barrett and the Commonwealth losing so much steam. Expected with for Adrian Neville here, and a lovely attack from Cody Rhodes afterwards. A Rhodes vs. Neville program sounds intriguing, though selfishly, I would hope that the result of this equals more momentum for Rhodes as a singles competitor. Dean Ambrose versus Rusev for the United States Title seems all but confirmed for Night of Champions. It'll be a fine contest, though I do hope that Rusev doesn't win the gold. A shocking result of Ambrose retaining is what I'm hoping for, but not counting on. Commonwealth's downfall continues, though it was necessary, seeing as how the New Day is the fresh trio. I am confused as to whether they're heels or faces at this stage, though. Not a bad win for Paige over Summer Rae to pick up some momentum. Fine with the program against AJ Lee continuing, though maybe it should wrap up soon. Lastly, a fantastic Steel Cage match to close the show. Involvement from Bischoff and Punk was expected, but it worked out very well. AJ Styles not only winning, but doing so after a Spiral Tap from the top of the cage, puts him over massively and makes this seem like his defining moment so far in his WWE tenure. A good SmackDown overall.

AUGUST 25, 2014 FROM THE HONDA CENTER IN ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and following it, the cameras cut in to the Honda Center from Anaheim, California. Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield give the welcoming to the show as tonight, the Elimination Chase will continue as John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens will look to move on. Also, Bray Wyatt has left messages for Bryan Danielson all over social media over the past week and tonight, he has offered to give his wife Brie Bella back if Danielson hands over his WWE Championship!
The theme music of CM Punk hits to a big ovation from the crowd. He makes his way out from behind the curtains and takes his time to make his way to the ring, playing up to the fans. He comes down and in to the ring, taking a microphone from ringside before sitting cross-legged in the middle of the squared circle, tapping the mike to the palm of his hand. "You might have saw last week right here on Raw... the weasel known as Seth Rollins lost the Intercontinental Title he had won just twenty four hours before to AJ Styles and maybe, just maybe, I had something to do about that." He grins to the crowd and looks all around the arena, saying that AJ deserves to be the Intercontinental Champion and should never have lost it but that isn't really the reason why he screwed Rollins over. He brings up the week before Money in the Bank, saying that he got a call from none other than Eric Bischoff himself. In a mocking tone, he describes the phone call. "Hey, Punk, it's Eric Bischoff... Guess what!? Vince McMahon made another stupid decision and hired me as the General Manager again... say, that Irish fella got hurt, you want to return and hop in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match!?" Punk shrugs his shoulders and says that he saw an opportunity to not only exact some revenge on Kevin Owens, but to also win the Money in the Bank for a third time. He says he did the first part and then some, but when he was just inches away from grabbing that briefcase, Eric Bichoff himself stepped in to the ring and struck him with a steel chair and let Seth Rollins climb up that ladder and grab the briefcase himself. The WWE Universe boos the description and Punk scratches the back of his head, saying that it took a while, but he did promise revenge on Rollins and Bischoff and last week, he got some not once, but twice. Before Punk has a chance to say more, the recognizable "I'm Back!" is heard.
Out to the stage comes General Manager Eric Bischoff, shortly thereafter being followed down to the ring by 'Mr. Money in the Bank' Seth Rollins and his Masked Security Team. The four get in to the ring together and stand across from Punk, Bischoff telling him to hold on, waving at the stage until four police officers make their way down! They come in to the ring as well, Punk laughing in response, asking Bischoff if he is serious. "Of course he is serious, Punk!" Shouts Rollins, stepping forward with a furious look across his face. "You screwed me over twice last week and you ruined what was going to be not only my week but the beginning of my era! The Seth Rollins era!" Punk raises his eyebrows and asks if that really calls for the police. Bischoff steps forward, holding Rollins back a bit as he comes up in front of Punk himself, telling him the police are indeed necessary. "We all know what a rebel you are, Punk... we all know how you like to stick it to those in charge and all those associated! Since Seth didn't get the opportunity to have a celebration for becoming the Intercontinental Champion last week thanks to you and AJ Styles... he is going to have a celebration here tonight and these fine gentlemen are here to escort you out of the building." The Honda Center fills up with boos as Punk puts his hands up, saying that isn't going to be necessary, because he would like to be the first right here tonight to congratulate Seth on all his success in the past, present and future. He pushes Bischoff to the side, sending a big kick to the back of the head of Rollins! Before he can do anything else to his recent rival, the masked security team takes him to the mat! They begin to pummel Punk, Seth hopping on top to drive fist after fist to the head. The police officers are called upon and they turn Punk on to his stomach, keeping him forced down to the mat in order to cuff him! "Really? Is that necessary in order to escort Punk out of the arena!?" Questions Cole, JBL quick to defend it by saying that he was out of order by attacking Seth Rollins!
After getting Punk cuffed, they pull him up on to his knees but instead of escorting him from the building, they allow Rollins to smack him across the face! The masked security team brings him back on to his knees and forces him to stay put, allowing Rollins to set up for the Curb Stomp! Before he can hit off the ropes, however, Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles storms down to the ring! As soon as he comes underneath the ropes, he is tackle down by the police officers, Seth's security team stomping down on him. The six drag him over next to Punk and cuff him up as well, holding both men in place next to one another. "You both deserve this! This is my night! This is Seth Rollins' night!" He hits off the ropes and, at the same time, hits both men with the Curb Stomp! He paces back and forth across the ring, demanding that the police 'take the trash out'. He has his arms raised up by the security team as Bischoff presents him with the Money in the Bank Briefcase, patting him on the back as Punk and Styles are removed from the ring.
We return to a replay from what just happened moments ago as Seth Rollins, his unknown duo of masked security and multiple police officers assaulted CM Punk and AJ Styles. Now, with both men gone, Eric Bischoff has promised to have a celebration for Seth Rollins later on tonight!
The Miz (w/Damien Mizdow) vs Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter): The bell rings and before Swagger can step forward, Miz holds things up and flaps his hands to the crowd, dramatically removing his sunglasses. Mizdow, meanwhile, does the exact same thing on the outside to the delight of all. The match finally gets under way, Swagger using his amateur wrestling skills to take Miz down repeatedly. He fails on an early Swagger Bomb attempt, however, as Miz sticks his boot up to him. He gets up and drops Swagger with multiple clotheslines, rolling him up as he ducks one in return, getting a close count of two. Miz tries to keep momentum going but it is brought to a sudden halt as he is blasted with a big boot! Swagger starts to work away at the ankle and keeps going at it, refusing to let up. He eventually applies an ankle lock and Miz yells out in pain as he scrambles his hands about for the ropes. He eventually reaches them and the referee gets to a count of four, Mizdow pulling Miz from the ring and taking his place! Swagger heads back over but is confused. "What is he doing in here!?" He shouts, the official confused just as much as he is. He tries to get Mizdow to exit the ring and Swagger pulls him up himself, tossing him over the ropes to some boos. He backs right up, however, in to the Skull Crushing Finale from Miz! He rolls Swagger over and hooks the legs for the three count! The Miz def. Jack Swagger in 5:53.
Miz gets on to his feet with a big smile over his face, Mizdow coming in to the ring quickly to join him and, as his stunt double, do the exact same things Miz does. Swagger rolls out of the ring in pain, Colter pulling at his mustache in frustration over the result!
Backstage, both The Miz and Damien Mizdow are seen walking backstage with smiles on their faces as they point to those they walk by, even spinning around in the process together. As they continue to make their way down the halls, they come to a stop and each slowly remove their sunglasses. Up to them walks Wade Barrett, whom has a scowl across his face. "Real cute, you two... Damien, I think the time for fun and games is over and it is time that you come on back to The Commonwealth." Miz puts his hands up and tells Barrett that this isn't all fun and games as he described it. As he speaks, Mizdow mouths the same words behind him. Miz tells Barrett that this is very serious business. "Damien has a lot of talent... when I first talked to him about this opportunity, he did a pretty good impression of you, even." Barrett puts his hands to his sides and questions what he is talking about, Miz gesturing his hand out to his stunt double. He steps forward and runs his hand over his face, Miz telling Barrett that he needs to get in to character first, it's an acting thing. With a deep, British accent, Mizdow looks up. "Bloody hell, Damien, you were supposed to get the job done! You were supposed to make sure I won that match for that title because lord knows I can't do it on my own! Paige, how dare you talk back to me! What do you mean you're leaving!?" Miz laughs hysterically in the background and points behind Barrett, asking if that is Paige right over there! Barrett spins around and looks wildly, Miz and Mizdow disappearing before he has a chance to turn around, leaving him enraged!
Elsewhere stands Renee Young, whom introduces her guest at this time to be the man that was eliminated first from the Elimination Chase, Antonio Cesaro. He steps forward with an angry look across his face, Paul Heyman shortly following on to the scene as well with a similar look as well. She thanks them for their time and asks how are they dealing with things after what was obviously a disappointing outcome last week on Raw. "Disappointing?" Questions Heyman as he shakes his head. "Renee, this wasn't just disappointing this was a travesty. Not just last week on Raw, but last week at Summerslam! At Summerslam, Antonio Cesaro had that match with John Cena in the bag and it was ripped away from him! Last week in the Elimination Chase once again he was robbed! Had his opportunity ripped away!" Heyman shakes his head, vowing that things are going to get back on track for his client. Cesaro nods in agreement, saying that ever since he had the WWE Championship taken away from him, he has had things not go so well but now it is time he gets things back on track. "There is nobody that is going to get in the way of 'The Swiss Superman' from now on..." He and Heyman head off together.
John Cena vs Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio vs Roman Reigns in the Second Elimination Chase Match: The match starts and immediately, Owens steps out of the ring and looks to the other four, whom all stare at each other. They all begin to laugh as they all decide to exit the ring and all charge at Owens! They begin to beat him up and he hops over the barricade, going through the crowd. Orton and Del Rio, his former Purge victims, go right after him but are blindsided by Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe in the middle of the crowd! Cena and Reigns brawl outside of the ring with each other and eventually get back inside of it. As Del Rio and Orton are taken out of the equation by the WWE Tag Team Champions, Owens charges back in the ring from behind and hits Cena with a sleeper suplex! He gets right back up and runs at Reigns as he is sat in the corner, hitting him with a cannonball splash! He gets back to his feet and leans over the ropes, glaring to the crowd with a grin as we get a commercial break. After the time away, Owens continues to dominate the match and very shortly after the commercial, throwing Reigns around a bit on the outside. He ends up powerbombing him right on to the steel steps and lets out a roar to the crowd! However, he turns right in to a clothesline from Orton as he comes from out of nowhere! He begins a beat down on Owens and ends up tossing him in to the steel steps, kicking and punching away at him. Cena gets back in to the ring and walks right in to a superkick from Del Rio, which results in a near fall. Orton gets back in to the ring and hits Del Rio with a backbreaker, getting a near fall of his own off of it. He gets back up and walks around the ring, shaking his head. He pounces to the mat and slams his fists to the mat, setting up for the RKO. Cena gets up first, however, so he changes direction and goes for him only to get shoved in to the ropes and caught with the Attitude Adjustment on the return! He lays out on the mat for a little while before crawling over for a close count of two! As he staggers back on to his feet, as does Owens from the outside. He comes in and clubs Cena across the back, hitting him with some shots to the face on the turnaround. He pushes him off the ropes and delivers the pop-up powerbomb on the return! Cena is smart to roll out under the ropes, Owens growing frustrated. He turns around right in to a Spear from Reigns! He pops up on to his feet and lets out a big roar to the crowd, spinning around only to be suddenly hit with a charging uppercut from Antonio Cesaro! The crowd boos as he flexes his muscles to the fans, Paul Heyman making his way out to the stage with a grin as 'The Swiss Superman' pulls Reigns back up in order to plant him with the Neutralizer! He stands over him for a moment and then exits the ring. Owens takes the opportunity to drape his arm over Reigns for the pinfall! Kevin Owens, John Cena, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio def. Roman Reigns in 18:44.
The Anaheim fans boo as Cesaro and Heyman meet each other at the top of the ramp, shaking hands with one another. In the ring, Owens gets back to his feet and is met by Crowe and Zayn. Reigns crawls to the ropes and looks up the stage with a fury in his eyes at Cesaro and Heyman whom just stare back, having gotten some revenge for the elimination from the chase last week and, obviously, there is still some bad blood between the two from their former 'partnership'.
In the ring stands Tyson Kidd, along with his wife Natalya. He holds a microphone in his hand and removes his headphones, looking out to the crowd. "Last week on Raw Roulette I landed on 'Blast From the Past Match', fact!" He says that he ended up having to face The Godfather in his putrid hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada - fact. "They say that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... Fact! But the thing is, me winning isn't going to stay in Vegas - Fact! I'm going to come out here each and every week and make a challenge to any former Intercontinental Champion, like The Godfather, until I get the title shot that I deserve! Fact!" He backs up and Natalya rubs his back with a smile, loosening him up as he waits. To the surprise and delight of everyone a few moments later, a familiar line in the form of "Oh you didn't know!?" is heard! Soon, out to the stage comes Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, the New Age Outlawz! They come down and in to the ring and with smiles on their faces, look around the cheering Honda Center. Road Dogg has a microphone and he starts the run down of who the New Age Outlawz are, even throwing out a couple of 'fact's in the process, much to the chagrin of Kidd. "So... I'm sorry... what is your name again, kid?" Tyson steps forward and says 'yes', which Road Dogg is confused by. "Wait a minute... your name is 'Yes'? Who are you? The WWE Champion Bryan Danielson!? Sounds like a bit of gimmick infringement to me!" Kidd paces back and forth and takes his microphone back from Natalya, telling Road Dogg his name is Tyson Kidd and if he wants to accept his challenge here tonight to shut his mouth and get on with it. The crowd boos and 'The D-o-double-G' puts his hands up, telling Kidd that he isn't the one accepting the challenge - Billy is! Gunn steps up with a smile and gives a thumbs up to the crowd as he leans in a bit in the middle of the ring. "And if you're not down with that... we've got two words for ya!" He raises the mike to the sky and the crowd gives a giant response of 'Suck it!', Road Dogg and Natalya exiting the ring.
The Tyson Kidd Intercontinental Champion Challenge: Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) vs Billy Gunn (w/Road Dogg): The bell sounds, Kidd and Gunn circling the ring before locking up. Billy plays around with Tyson a bit and brings him to the mat, firing up the crowd only to also fire up Kidd as well, as he runs up and takes him down with a big dropkick! Kidd is fast and refuses to let up on the veteran, going for a top rope DDT. Gunn pushes him back to the ropes, however, and catches him with a dropkick of his own. He keeps Kidd grounded and brings him back up, getting elbowed in the gut. Tyson flies off the ropes but again gets caught, this time hit with a big tilt-a-whirl slam. Gunn gets a two count on the pin attempt and gets back up. He lets Tyson rise and they exchange some chops with one another, Kidd catching one and kicking Gunn in the gut. He flies off the ropes and returns with a big leaping tornado DDT! He pops right back up and looks to Road Dogg on the outside, sending a crotch chop his way! The crowd boos as Kidd laughs, Road Dogg getting on the apron and being told to get down. Kidd turns back to Gunn, bringing him on to his feet. He is hit with a low blow, however, with the referee still distracted! Gunn gets back up and the crowd cheers as he sees the prime opportunity, hitting off the ropes! He comes charging back for the Fame Asser but Kidd manages to move out of the way and kick him right in the face! He quickly applies the Sharpshooter and not long after, Gunn has to tap. Tyson Kidd def. Billy Gunn in 5:40.
Kidd gets back on to his feet and Road Dogg slides in to the ring, getting on to his feet as Kidd stomps at Gunn. Dogg throws some fists and gets a bit funky with his step, rattling off one big elbow to the head! Kidd rolls out of the ring, angry, kicking the steel steps and slapping the mat of the ring repeatedly. Natalya steps up to him and holds him back, Road Dogg encouraging him to get back in to the ring. He and Natalya, however, make their way towards the back.
The signature of The Wyatt Family hits and on the titantron appears Bray Wyatt with a sick grin across his face and his lantern dangling from his hand. "Anaheim... we're here." He warns, blowing the light out. He, along with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan make their way out to the stage and along with Rowan is Brie Bella, her arms pinned behind her back. They come down and in to the ring, Wyatt wielding a microphone as he smiles to the crowd. "Have you ever had what you love most taken away from you?" He asks the fans, gesturing his hand out in front of Brie. "Now you have, Bryan... now you know what it is like to have things taken away that you love most just like you took away what is rightfully mine! The WWE Championship belongs to me, the eater of worlds! THE ONE BEHIND TWENTY ONE AND ONE! THE MAD KING! ME! BRAY WYATT!" He widens his eyes and looks in to the camera, the fans responding with heavy boos. He says that Abigail told him as he was growing up in to the man, the monster he is today that he was bound for greatness, he was bound for all the glory to be shared by no other! He says that the day of reckoning for Bryan has come and gone, but there is still time for him to destroy everything that Danielson has built up, to take it all away, just as he took his wife. Wyatt laughs and runs the back of his gloved hand across the cheek of Brie, saying that he gave Bryan an offer over the past few days to come out here, hand over the WWE Championship and in turn, he won't do any harm to him or to his wife and this dream won't become a nightmare for him.
As Wyatt goes to say more, the WWE Champion Bryan Danielson makes his way out from the back with no normal spring in his step as he glares down to the ring. He marches right down to the ring but before he gets there, Wyatt warns him to stop and Harper comes up towards the ropes. "You aren't going to be no false hero tonight, Bryan..." Wyatt says as he comes up next to Brie again, twirling her hair in his finger with a chuckle, angering Danielson. "If you are going to make the right decision tonight and save your dear, dear wife... you're going to do it exactly how I command you... because I am the one who calls the shots now, Bryan! I AM THE EATER OF WORLDS AND I AM THE REAPER OF SOULS AND THOSE THAT DEFY ME SHALL BE PUNISHED FOR THEIR SINS!" He breaths heavily and tells Bryan that he wants him to put his championship in the hands of Harper and back away slowly. Hesitant, he looks to his wife and gives a nod to her. He steps forward to Harper as he puts his hands between the ropes, Danielson taking a moment before placing it in to his hands despite the chant of 'No!' from the crowd. They boo as Luke backs up slowly with a smile, Bray laughing as the title is presented in front of him. As he is about to be handed it over, however, Danielson comes in to the ring with a kendo stick and whacks Harper in the back! He drops the title and Bryan swings the stick in to the gut of Wyatt, turning to Rowan as he backs up with Brie in his grasp still. Danielson mutters under his breath as he points the kendo towards his face, turning around to crack Wyatt in the head! He wobbles backwards and in to the corner, holding Harper back as he starts to kneel down with a laugh. "You tried to be a hero, Bryan!" He shouts, Danielson giving him a stare with a fire in his eyes. "You tried and you failed! GIVE UP NOW, BRYAN! THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE! I AM WARNING YOU!" He stands up and spreads his arms out, Danielson scooping his title belt back up. Looking down at it, he takes his chances and charges to Rowan - leaping and clocking him in the head! Rowan lets go of Brie and she escapes from the ring, Danielson sliding out as well as fast as he can. "Go! Go! GO!" He screams to his wife as they rush up the ramp! They get to the top of the stage and hug each other tight, Wyatt on both knees in the ring laughing hysterically! "I'm going to destroy you, Bryan! I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOUR WHOLE WORLD!" He shouts up the ramp as Bryan and Brie have a worried look on their faces, despite being able to escape tonight.
The New Day (w/Kofi Kingston) vs The Usos: The match begins with Woods and Jey, the prior making his in-ring Raw debut. He takes it to one half of the brothers that were once WWE Tag Team Champions. He gets, perhaps, a little too over-confident as he starts to clap 'New! Day Rocks!' with Big E and Kofi, allowing Jey to hit him with a shuffle kick to the gut followed by a big drop-uppercut after hitting off the ropes. He throws Woods in to the corner and begins to make frequent tag with Jimmy, the now-veteran tag team dominating the contest. Woods hits a kick to the gut of Jimmy and a neckbreaker, both men slowly crawling to their corners in order to each make the hot tag. They do, and Big E storms in with a big time clothesline! He hits a series of belly-to-belly suplexes and gets fired up, clapping along with Kingston on the outside. He is dropkicked from behind as he grows too distracted, Woods dropping down to check on him along with Kingston. As they are all trying to regroup with each other with their clapping, it is both Jimmy and Jey running and flying over the ropes to take all three out! After getting back to their feet, The Usos pull Big E to his feet and back in the ring. Kingston tries to stop them but he is ignored, Jimmy getting on to the apron. He goes to the top rope and as the referee checks on Big E, Kingston gets on to the apron and pulls on the ropes! The crowd boos as, hung up, Jimmy falls down from the turnbuckle. Big E gets up and makes the tag to Woods, pulling Jimmy up just to pull him on to his shoulders and plant him with a Big Ending-DDT combination with Woods! He hooks both legs up as Big E holds Jey off for the three count and victory. The New Day def. The Usos in 7:03.
The New Day gathers on the outside of the ring, in joy of their victory, albeit cheap. They don't acknowledge how and while the referee and Jey Uso have no idea how the victory came, Cole calls for the decision to be reversed! "Oh, quiet down, Michael! A win is a win! Don't take this away from The New Day!" JBL says in response, saying he thinks he likes these guys! Lawler mumbles that of course he does, Layfield arguing there is nothing wrong with liking winners!
Backstage, we see Eric Bischoff in his office talking with some crew members, saying he really needs things to be right tonight. As they walk off, in to the room comes Roman Reigns, a very angry look across his face. Bischoff asks if he could knock next time, Reigns telling him that he is going to do whatever he damn well pleases, causing the General Manager to take exception to the response. He asks Reigns if he knows who he is, to which Roman says he does. "You're the slime ball General Manager who is running things like he did before... corrupt and giving a bunch of preferential treatment to similar slime balls like Seth Rollins..." The crowd gives a big 'ooh' in response as Bischoff tells him that he has this celebration to keep planning, so he tells Reigns to get to what he wants. "I want to take this fist... and knock both Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman's teeth down their throats..." Bischoff laughs and says that he finds that to be very amusing, actually, and he understands why. He says that him and Heyman have never really gotten along, that is well known, and just because of that he'll be more than happy to make a match for Night of Champions: Roman Reigns versus Antonio Cesaro! The crowd cheers for the decision inside the arena, Reigns nodding. He prepares to leave but Bischoff stops him. "Just... one more thing, Roman... don't you ever come in here bashing me the way you did again or this 'slime ball General Manager' will see fit to you no longer getting the chance to use that fist to drive teeth down throats." He smiles and pats Reigns on the shoulder before letting him go.
The Diva's Champion AJ Lee's music hits and to a cheer from the crowd, she skips her way to ringside and hops right in on commentary with a smile on her face. As she is welcomed, Lawler says he has to ask if she thinks she'll end up giving Paige another Diva's Championship match. "You know, Jerry, Paige has had chance after chance after chance... but I'm considering it after she dumped that loser, Wade Barrett... maybe her mind will be cleared. But, she still has to do a bit of showing me that she deserves it first." JBL says that idea is crazy, Paige obviously does not deserve another title shot! AJ looks to him and asks if he just called her crazy. JBL is quick to apologize, Cole and Lawler laughing at him as he tells them both to shut up!
Paige vs Cameron: As soon as the match starts, Paige dominates Cameron. He slams her to the mat repeatedly, showing some power. She has a determined look across her face as she looks to AJ, giving a nod before delivering a big boot to the gut of Cameron! She hits a series of short-arm clotheslines before pushing Cameron in to the corner. Paige shouts to the crowd with a smile, throwing her arms up. She runs back at Cameron and gets hit with an elbow to the jaw and rocked backwards. She hits a hard shot to the back of the head from behind and goes for the pin, Paige managing to kick out at two. Cameron applies a modified surfboard stretch after, pulling back on it aggressively. Paige screams out and eventually pulls herself free, crawling to the ropes and back on to her feet. She hits a hard mule kick as Cameron comes up, planting her with the Paige-Turner right after! She covers her for the three count.Paige def. Cameron in 4:25. With the crowd relatively behind her, Paige gets to her feet and looks back over to ringside. AJ removes her headset and stands up to look right back at her with a smile, raising up the Diva's Championship. She skips around the ring a few times and shrugs her shoulders after Paige asks if she is going to give her another title match or not. AJ skips her way on to the back and Paige just shakes her head, still without an answer as to if she'll get her opportunity.
Coming back from the break, 'The Bulgarian Brute' Rusev and 'The Ravishing Russian' Lana make their way down to the ring, Rusev waving the Russian flag proudly over his head. With a microphone in her hand, Lana calls for the attention of the WWE Universe and even orders that they shut up! "For the past five months, you have all been witnesses to the path of destruction led by Rusev... all-comers have come in with hopes and dreams of defeating Vladimir Putin's hand-picked super-athlete... and have, like America, failed." The boos come down, the crowd even breaking out in to a 'U-S-A!' chant in response. She explains how last week, Rusev was in a Flag Match against Dean Ambrose and 'The Lunatic Fringe' proved to be weak like the country he was representing, losing to the superior Russia and Rusev. "Then your fan favorite... your criminal Dean Ambrose... had the audacity to come and challenge Rusev to a match for this Thursday for the United States Championship..." She rolls her eyes, saying that something like that just shows the stupidity, the ignorance and blind arrogance of Ambrose. She claims that he is a misrepresentation of what a champion should be and the man to her left is a true winner, a true champion and with this opportunity will be more than glad to take away the United States Championship and bring it back proudly to Mother Russia. He raises his flag up once again.
As one may expect, the United States Championship Dean Ambrose himself comes on out to the stage with his title belt slung over his shoulder. "It sounds to me like we've got ourselves a main event set for Smackdown, huh!?" He questions, saying he just wanted to make sure, since he can barely understand a word Lana says with that peanut butter mouth, if Rusev is accepting his challenge. Rusev takes the microphone from Lana and starts to shout back in his language, Ambrose taken aback by it. He puts his hands up and tells him to take it easy. "Jeez, man, I just said I couldn't understand what Lana was saying and you're even worse... I mean, we should make this simple... if you want to accept this challenge for my United States Championship this Thursday, just nod or give me a good ol' Mick Foley thumbs up or something!" Rusev steps up and with a bit of a smirk, speaks more calmly in English, telling Ambrose that he accepts his challenge. "You can make your jokes, but the jokes are over Thursday. I shall break you. I shall crush you. I shall weaken you and take your championship, Dean Ambrose!" The two stare at each other and Ambrose blinks rapidly, saying he didn't even realize Rusev spoke English! The crowd gets a laugh out of it as Rusev has been speaking in broken English for quite some time now. He scratches his head and says that it will be fun, real fun. "The fun part being that I'll get to give you a great old fashioned American ass kicking, baby! And why wait until Thursday, eh?" He drops the microphone and starts to rush down to the ring, Rusev sliding under the ropes at him! Ambrose leaps right in to him and takes him against the ring apron, throwing crazy fists! 'The Bulgarian Brute' shoves him back to the steel steps and runs forward, only for Ambrose to avoid him and let him crash and burn right over the steps! Ambrose mounts on top of him again and swings fists as wild as he can, refusing to let up! Multiple officials come rushing down to ringside to break things up, Ambrose throwing his hands up and down to the crowd to keep them fired up! Rusev stumbles on to his feet and falls back against the barricade with a look of shock across his face as Ambrose holds his United States Championship high over his head!
Cody Rhodes vs Big Show: The bell rings and Rhodes tries to avoid Show in the early goings, eventually being caught by the back of the neck and tossed in to the corner! He holds him back and after shushing the crowd, hits a huge slap to the chest! Rhodes tries to stumble away but gets brought right back and hit with another smack! Show applies a boot to the neck, applying a lot of pressure. After a four count, he backs away. Rhodes avoids a shot on the turnaround and begins to work away at the tree trunk-like legs. He can't get Show down, however, and gets hit right in the gut with a fist! Show toys around with him a bit and gets a couple of near falls in the process. Cody finally starts to get some momentum going as he keeps targeting the legs and he manages to take Show down after a top rope DDT! He goes for the pin, but also gets a count of two. Frustrated, Rhodes tries to beat Show up before he can get up but gets tossed right off and through the ropes and to the outside. He comes back in and hits the Disaster Kick as soon as Show gets up, but he fails to knock him back down and gets pushed right over the ropes and to the floor on the outside! Instead of going back in to the ring, however, Rhodes decides not to get back in to the ring, but rather let the referee get to a count of ten to boos from the crowd. Big Show def. Cody Rhodes via count out in 6:04.
As Rhodes backs up the ramp, he throws his hands up and says he doesn't need this. Before he can back all the way through the curtains, however, he is taken from behind by Adrian Neville! He runs Rhodes all the way down to the ring and rolls him in, Rhodes getting to his feet with an angry and confused look on his face. He turns right around to a Knockout Punch from Show! The crowd cheers as Neville gets on to the apron with a smile, climbing to the top rope. Show points to him as he looks around the arena, delivering the Red Arrow on Rhodes! He gets back to his feet immediately, holding his gut, and has his arm raised up high by Show as he has gotten some revenge on Rhodes for his two assaults last week on both Raw and Smackdown!
Backstage, we see The New Age Outlawz walking backstage together. They're talking about the energy being out there earlier and are suddenly brought to a stop as up to them steps none other than Seth Rollins. He stares at the two of them with a smile across his face, mockingly saying it must have felt great being out there earlier again. "Too bad you're in the wrong era, grandpas... this is the Seth Rollins era, not the Attitude Era. So I suggest you go ahead, sit back and relax watching the celebration of me and then hit the bricks to your retirement home." Seth chuckles and Road Dogg laughs right back, telling him that that back in the Attitude Era, Rollins was just a little kid wishing he could be in the spot they were. "You've got your success and my hats are off to ya, but you ain't done a damn thing to be walking around like you're the man yet, boy." Gunn agrees, saying that if Rollins isn't down with that, they've got two words for him. As the crowd gives the expected response in the background, the two veterans smile and head off together as Rollins just shakes his head, his celebration coming up next!
The ring is set up with a black carpet over the mat and pictures of Seth Rollins from over his career in the WWE, dating back to his debut in 2012 to his Intercontinental Championship win in October of that year, which he would go on to hold for almost an entire calendar year. There is also some images of this year where he won Money in the Bank and where he won back the Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam, although - while not pictured - he would lose it the next night. After all the images are looked over, Eric Bischoff makes his way out and down to the ring, a big smile across his face as he is booed heavily. He takes a microphone as he gets in, saying that this has been quite a night here on Monday Night Raw! "But nothing will be more memorable than this celebration right here, right now!" He gets booed heavily as he says that a few months ago, he was given this opportunity to be the General Manager once again and one of the key reasons why he accepted it was because of the man they are celebrating right now. He explains that he saw not just a superstar in Seth Rollins, but the superstar! "So, yeah, I may have had a hand in getting Seth the Money in the Bank and some of you, including CM Punk, might not have liked that but now you have a damn near guarantee that he will be your WWE Champion one day and while you may boo that now, you'll be thanking me when that day does come!" He says that without further ado, he'd like to get this celebration on the road!
Bischoff points up the stage and proceeds to welcome the man of the not just the hour, but of the night, Seth Rollins. He makes his way out with a smile and plays up to the booing crowd as he stands atop the stage. After getting down and in to the ring, he shakes hands and embraces Bischoff, thanking him for giving him this here tonight. "I deserve this, Eric." He says with a grin. "I deserved to have this last week but because AJ Styles got lucky with not just the spin of the Raw Roulette wheel, but because of CM Punk, we have to have it this week but it is better late than never to celebrate the great Seth Rollins!" Bischoff claps for him and Rollins says he would like to thank a few people first and foremost and the first person he'd like to thank is none other than the General Manager, Eric Bischoff. The Honda Center boos and Rollins tells the crowd to not be so rude, because he is a genius! "I'd also like to thank Jerry 'The King' Lawler..." He says while pointing to ringside. "If it weren't for a weak, fragile old man like Jerry... I wouldn't have had the opportunity to sit in on commentary for a week and save you all from listening to his horrific commentary! You're all very welcome!" He laughs as Lawler just shakes his head from the desk, Rollins also saying he'd like to thank Mick Foley, for on that same night he gave him a WWE Championship match at Payback and also let him Curb Stomp his head in as well! "If it weren't for Mick disrespecting me that night, I wouldn't have been able to take him out and then get the man standing next to me to be in charge!" He throws his hands up with a smile and pats Bischoff on the back, saying he'd also like to thank two more people. While things haven't gone so swell the past seven days, eight days ago he got a big hand in two men that are very loyal and very close to him and earlier tonight, they made things right by helping take care of the two biggest nuisances in his life as of late in CM Punk and AJ Styles. "So I feel that now is a better time than any to introduce those two men that have been behind the masks..." He points up the ramp and introduces Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards! Cole notes on commentary how these two have been in NXT for the past year or so and have been big in the tag team division down there, but now they are acting as personal security for Seth Rollins of all people!
The two enter the ring and shake hands with Rollins, also giving him hugs in the process. He laughs to the crowd and says that these men are loyal and they have chosen the right man to be loyal to and it will certainly pay off! "These men are The Wolves, my loyal wolves! They will protect me and they will build off of my success to become successes of their own and sooner or later you will all recognize you should've been on the side of 'The Administration' but it may just be too late!" He lets out a long laugh as Bischoff says that this past weekend in preparation for this, he had a video made up in honor of Seth Rollins! He says that the pictures in the ring show a lot, but why not show it all in video? Footage proceeds to play on the titantron, showing highlights from the start of Rollins' career to current day. After it is over, Rollins has a big smile on his face as Bischoff and The Wolves applaud him. 'Mr. Money in the Bank' once again hugs the General Manager, telling the WWE Universe that is what they get to look forward to not just in the present, but in the future for a very, very long time and The Administration will forever rule over all! "And if you're not with us, you're against us and you're making the biggest mistake of your life if you're against us!" He raises his briefcase over his head and just as it seems that Raw is going to come to an end, the arena explodes as 'King of Kings' hits for the first time in months! The newly named Administration all look in shock as Triple H comes out to the stage! He looks all around at the crowd and his music slowly dies down as he holds a microphone in his hand, the fans chanting his name. "Hey, guys, sorry to interrupt your glorious celebration of Seth Rollins... but I had a meeting back in Stamford over the weekend after all that has gone down recently and the Board of Directors told me that they needed me to do them a favor..." He builds up the anticipation of everyone in the building, saying that at first, he didn't think it was necessary but the more he looked over things, the more he realized it wasn't just necessary, it was basically his civic duty. "So allow me to introduce to you... the new Co-General Manager of WWE!" He gestures behind him to the curtain but pulls back slowly with a smile, a big pop from the crowd coming as The Administration is in disbelief. With everyone already knowing, Hunter simply says: "Me!" As his music hits once again, he stares down to the ring as things have been drastically changed for The Administration and the WWE Universe as Raw comes to an end!

| | Bryan Danielson, albeit the WWE Champion, went in to Summerslam as the underdog to Bray Wyatt. After pulling off a surprise victory, Bray would make things personal by taking Danielson's wife, Brie Bella, hostage for a second chance at the WWE Championship - a challenge Bryan accepted. | While Bryan Danielson and Bray Wyatt are battling against one another, six other men have been given the opportunity to get the next title shot. John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Antonio Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio were those six men, competing in an Elimination Chase. |
| When Paul Heyman introduced Antonio Cesaro as his new client back in June and led him to the WWE Championship, tensions were quickly raised between him and then-client Roman Reigns. After costing one another their spot in the Elimination Chase, in different fashions, they'll finally face. |
A very special thank you to Elliot for all Night of Champions graphics.

- Starting the show off with CM Punk makes total sense given what just happened on Smackdown when he gave the assist to AJ Styles making sure AJ retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship in the Steel Cage against Rollins especially after Punk helped Styles to win the title back after Styles lost it at SummerSlam to Rollins but it all ties back to Punk's revenge that being that he was going to get back at Bischoff for helping Rollins win the Money in the Bank briefcase but also for turning on him but also for Rollins stealing Punk's dream, it all makes sense now
- But then seeing Punk being interrupted by the RAW/Smackdown GM of WWE Bischoff along with Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and the Masked Security Team, I figured this would happen and it leading to Punk getting beat down only for WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles to make the save only for him to get beaten down too with them being escorted out of the arena, figures, typical Bischoff tactics but it pays off every time
- The Miz beating Swagger, it seems he and Mizdow are coming in to their own as a team but Sandow as Miz's stunt double, comedy gold here but as for Swagger when is the last time he was ever relevant either he or Colter?
- Miz and Mizdow backstage running into Barrett, I see this leading to a Miz/Barrett feud with it being a heel vs heel feud or Barrett turning babyface, either way the seeds have been planted
- Cesaro since he was the first superstar eliminated in the WWE Championship Elimination Chase, I can somehow see him getting involved in tonight's Chase Match costing Cena as retribution
- Cena vs Owens vs Orton vs Del Rio vs Reigns, Reigns being the second man eliminated and the way he was eliminated especially by someone who was not even in this match that being Cesaro and then Heyman showing up it all makes sense now especially given Reigns used to be a Paul Heyman Guy and Cesaro is a Heyman Guy but I can easily see Reigns getting his revenge sooner or later
- Tyson Kidd facing yet another legend, last week it was Godfather and this week it is Billy Gunn of the New Age Outlaws of DX and Kidd beats him I wonder if Kidd will face Road Dogg next? Or if he will face another legend? If Tyson Kidd wants the WWE Intercontinental Championship then why not just challenge the WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles?
- Bryan Danielson the WWE Champion saves his wife from Wyatt, Harper and Rowan as he and Brie both get out of dodge and Wyatt not even upset he's laughing about it, can you say mind games? It seems the WWE Championship match for Night of Champions is pretty much etched in stone now
- The New Day beating The Usos I mean it is pretty much clear if not after this match that Xavier, Kofi and Big E are pretty much going to be heels from now on considering the cheap way they won but The New Day have been on a roll ever since bursting on to the scene
- Reigns vs Cesaro for Night of Champions, I can't wait, former Paul Heyman Guy vs current Paul Heyman Guy this should be a slobberknocker
- AJ Lee the WWE Divas Champion on commentary for Paige's match with Paige beating Cameron to me Paige is still going to have to prove herself more worthy of a WWE Divas Championship match by that I mean beating multiple Divas at once but I wonder if AJ Lee if she will give Paige her title shot? If she does then this should be Paige's last chance if she loses then she doesn't get any more title shots as long as AJ Lee is still the WWE Divas Champion, that's only fair
- Rusev vs Ambrose this Thursday on Smackdown for the WWE United States Championship, I would have figured that this match would for sure happen at Night of Champions unless we're in for a DQ or countout of some kind
- Big Show beating Cody Rhodes by countout because of Cody bailing on the match I figured he would because not only is it a typical heelish move but also Cody knows what Show is capable of but just when he is about to bail, Neville brings Cody back into the ring with Show hitting the Knockout Punch on Cody, Neville got his revenge by hitting the exclamation point on Rhodes by hitting the Red Arrow, this probably just intensifies the rivalry between Rhodes and Neville
- Seth Rollins is still full of himself I wonder why he should be considering he lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship to AJ Styles after he already had Money in the Bank he had the IC Title for like a day and he lost it the next night on RAW back to AJ and then lost in the Steel Cage rematch, yes sure he has Money in the Bank but he is not and I repeat not "The Man" right now in this company or in this business but The Outlaws Road Dogg and Billy Gunn taking shots at Rollins I would have expected Rollins to Curb Stomp the both of them
- Final segment of the show Seth Rollins' Celebration being crashed by the COO Triple H, an unexpected return from The Game The King of Kings the former Authority leader I wonder if this means Triple H has returned as a babyface? Or if this is just another way for Triple H to take back power in WWE? Triple H as the new co-GM of WWE, I don't know if I should be happy or pissed off

Ryan is right, you progress fast as hell. We were both at Payback around the same time. I'm curious about this masked security team. Fine opening stuff. A Punk/Rollins feud is something I've always wanted. Miz over Swagger works. I wonder if you'll go the Mizdow/Miz split route. I forgot Sandow was just part of the Commonwealth. I happen to love the Elimination Chase. I may or may not be bringing it back. Kind of surprised to see Roman Reigns out now. I suspect we finally see Reigns/Cesaro at Night of Champions. Goddamit. I also may or may not be planning on doing an Open Challenge angle in the future. I love the twist that it's only to former IC Champions. Billy Gunn can still go, so this should have been good. THE MAD KING? YOU BEEN WATCHING GAME OF THRONES? Fine segment. Bray better win. It may salvage him. NEW...DAY ROCKS. And there goes Reigns/Cesaro. Paige turning things around after splitting from Barrett works. Paige should be the one to dethrone AJ Lee. Ambrose/Rusev is original and I like that. Another program I'm interested in here, Cody Rhodes vs. Neville. Okay, okay. The Wolves as the masked men is a good way to go. Introducing Tripe H as the Co-General Manager is a good move. I've always felt that an idea like that works best to balance things out. Overall, a good episode of Raw. You've got a lot of things currently going that intrigue me.

Triple H made his unannounced return to WWE television at the end of Monday Night Raw this past week, making the big announcement that he was to be the Co-General Manager alongside Eric Bischoff. While there are no plans to depart with Bischoff, whom is said to be enjoying his second run as General Manager, it is setting the stage for a potential power struggle feud while also possibly setting the stage for the rumored brand split following WrestleMania 31, where we could see Triple H and Eric Bischoff potentially fill those two roles for Raw and Smackdown. The brand split is reportedly picking up a lot of traction with creative, whom see with the big expansion of the roster - especially via the rapid rise of NXT - as this as a good opportunity to utilize Smackdown ("The B-Show") as the second building ground for current and future stars of tomorrow to begin honing in their craft. While there is no word on a final decision for the split, there have been preliminary discussions in some top stars potentially representing both brands in the event that they do go forth in once again forming two rosters. Roman Reigns has slowly, but surely, increased his popularity with the crowd since his split from Paul Heyman and his merchandise sales are reportedly a key note from it. While there is still some work for Reigns to do to keep getting over with the crowd, continuing his pivotal feud with the likes of Heyman and Antonio Cesaro is considered to be one of the first steps to make him a top babyface after being one of the top heel upper-midcarders since his April 2013 debut. TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs has been added back on to the pay-per-view schedule after being absent last year for Cyber Sunday. While last year's December test event did gain some good fan participation and fit in with the social media craze, WWE has apparently decided to rid of the event in order to bring back TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. The calender for upcoming pay-per-views until WrestleMania 31 in March is currently as follows: - Night of Champions: September 21, 2014 (Nashville, TN) - Hell in a Cell: October 26, 2014 (Dallas, TX) - Survivor Series: November 23, 2014 (St. Louis, MO) - TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs: December 14, 2014 (Cleveland, OH) - Royal Rumble: January 25, 2015 (Philadelphia, PA) - No Way Out: February 22, 2015 (Memphis, TN) - WrestleMania 31: March 29, 2015 (Santa Clara, CA)

AUGUST 28, 2014 FROM THE CITIZENS BUSINESS BANK ARENA IN ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA
The show begins uniquely, as Seth Rollins and The Wolves are seen arriving together in the parking lot. "Triple H wants to come back and try and ruin this, huh!?" Rollins shouts, shaking his head. He turns to Richards and Edwards, telling them that tonight they're going to get their opportunity to show Triple H what he is dealing with when it comes to The Administration. "You know we're the best tag team in the world..." Davey says as he steps forward. "You brought us in because you know that and we will not let you down, Seth." Eddie agrees, saying that after the disrespect The New Age Outlawz showed to him on Raw, they're going to take care of them here tonight. Rollins says that CM Punk and AJ Styles better not show their faces, either, or he'll have to put their heads in to the mat once again. They head off and the Smackdown intro video airs, the cameras coming in to the Citizens Business Bank Arena from Ontario, California after. Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield are on commentary and welcome all to the show, and just as we heard moments ago The Wolves will get their debut match on the main roster as Triple H has set them up to face the legendary team: The New Age Outlawz! Plus, in the main event, the United States Championship is on the line as Dean Ambrose defends against Rusev!
Roman Reigns vs Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter): The bell sounds and Swagger starts to talk some trash, shoving Reigns a bit before stepping right up in to a sudden Superman Punch! The crowd is shocked as Roman pulls Swagger up in to the corner, driving shoulders to the gut repeatedly. He tosses him across the ring and flies off the ropes, coming right back with a giant Spear! He hooks the outside leg up for the very easy one, two, three. Roman Reigns def. Jack Swagger in 0:55.
The crowd is completely caught off guard by the quick result and Reigns gets back on to his feet while calling for a microphone from ringside. He pushes his hair back from his face and stares right in to the main camera. "Antonio Cesaro... Paul Heyman... you screwed me over on Raw in the Elimination Chase... and you got my attention." He takes a few deep breaths and says that now that he and Cesaro will finally they will get to face each other one on one in about three weeks at Night of Champions. "While we aren't going to be competing for any titles, Antonio, I am going in there like I am competing for the WWE Championship because you and I and Paul Heyman all know that I would've won that Elimination Chase if it weren't for you... and after I'm done taking this fist and driving it in to your face over and over and over again, Cesaro... Paul... I'm gonna give you a taste of it too." He drops his microphone to the mat and raises his fists up to the crowd as they cheer him on, Reigns exiting the ring with a determined look on his face.
We return in the backstage area where Renee Young is standing by with The Usos. She thanks Jimmy and Jey for their time ahead of their match against The Miz and Damien Mizdow and she just wants to get a word on what their thoughts are on the new team on the scene - The New Day - and how they won their match against them on Raw. She shows a replay on the screen behind her of Kofi Kingston cheating to help Big E and Xavier Woods get the win over The Usos by hanging Jimmy up on the ropes while he went to the top rope. "We've known Kofi for a long time, Renee..." Jey says, shaking his head. "We've gotten to know Big E over the past couple of years he has been around, too. But this Xavier Woods guy is new on the scene..." He shrugs his shoulders and Jimmy nods, saying that while he is all for new guys coming around, getting their chance, he thinks that this 'positivity' that Woods is influencing on Kingston and Big E is just a small part of what he is influencing. "As a matter of fact, we think Xavier Woods may be turning Kofi and 'E in to a couple of cheaters!" Jimmy adds on. "And we don't play that game, Renee. Just like we aren't going to play that game with Miz and Mizdow tonight." He pats his brother on the back and they head off for their match that is coming right up. The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs The Usos: The match begins between Jimmy and Miz, the latter taking his time to pull off his sunglasses. Mizdow does the same and gets a more positive reaction than Miz, causing him to roll his eyes at his stunt double. Miz and Jimmy go at it for a while, going back and forth. The Usos get some momentum going for themselves, tagging each other in and out to keep themselves fresh. Miz hits a thumb to the eye of Jey, however, and he turns things his way quickly. After a couple of near falls and a big DDT, Miz crawls to his corner and makes the tag to Mizdow! He hits clothesline after clothesline and delivers an atomic drop, followed up by a backbreaker-neckbreaker combination that Miz is known for doing, throwing his hands up to the crowd to a solid pop. He goes for the corner clothesline but Jey moves out of the way, hitting a big time superkick! He makes the diving tag to his brother and he goes up to the top rope, only to grow distracted as out to the stage comes The New Day, clapping with big smiles across their faces 'New! Day Rocks!' to the disapproval of the crowd. As Jimmy grows distracted, Mizdow crawls to his corner and tags Miz in. Jimmy drops to the mat and charges at Miz, missing a shot to the face and caught in Miz's grasp, being dropped right in the middle of the ring with the Skull Crushing Finale! The New Day has grimacing looks on their faces over the impact as if they didn't intend on causing a distraction as Miz covers Jimmy for the pinfall. The Miz and Damien Mizdow def. The Usos in 7:27.
Miz hops on to his feet quickly, his fists raised up high over his head. Mizdow comes in the ring with Miz, mimicking everything he does. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Jey regroup with each other on the outside, looking up the ramp at The New Day, whom just smile and continue to clap along!
We return and the signature riff of The New Age Outlawz music hits, the voice of Road Dogg being heard to a giant pop. "Oh you didn't know!?" He questions as he makes his way out with Billy Gunn. "Your ass better call somebody!" The two make their way down to the ring with big smiles across their faces, letting the crowd take them in as they stand together in the middle of the squared circle. Road Dogg goes to speak but has to stop himself to keep letting the crowd go on a bit. "Oh you damn right! We're back, we're back, dig-dang-digity we are back and Cali, baby, it feels good!" He paces back and forth across the ring, saying that he has said the same line coming through those curtains asking if the crowd did not know but they haven't been in a WWE ring as a team in a long time and some people may, as a matter of fact, may not know. Gunn stops him as he steps forward, putting his hand out for the microphone with a confused look across his face. "Wait a minute..." He says, scratching his head. "So you're telling me that after all of these years together... that question never really meant anything until now?" Road Dogg shrugs his shoulders and doesn't really have a response, Billy saying he thought his stuff with Chuck was confusing! He rubs his head as he backs up to the ropes, the crowd getting a bit of a chuckle out of the reminder of Billy's other controversial team - for those that remember it. He hands the microphone back over to 'The D-o-double-G' and he pats Gunn on the back, telling him that it's alright because they are back and they are ready to kick some "bleep". He steps up to the middle of the ring and gazes out around the arena, starting up his signature introduction. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! D-Generation X proudly presents to you it's four time WWE Tag Team Champions of the worrrlllllldd! 'The Road Dogg' Jesse James, 'The Bad Ass' Billy Gunn... The New! Age! Outlawz!" The crowd gets a big pop out of it as he hands the mike back over to Billy, whom has a giddy smile across his face. He asks if it is still okay for him to say this on PG television, his partner giving a nod. "And of course... if you're not down with that... we've got two words for ya!" He raises the microphone up above his head, receiving a still very thunderous response of 'Suck it!' from the Citizens Business Bank Arena!
Soon, the entrance music of Seth Rollins hits and out comes 'Mr. Money in the Bank' to quite the heavy amount of boos, followed by Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards, The Wolves, whom were revealed to be his masked security team that debuted at Summerslam on Monday. "Congratulations, gentlemen." Rollins says as he walks down the ramp slowly with The Wolves. "Now that you've got your old buddy Triple H back as the Co-General Manager... you've gotten him to set you washed up has-beens that should have retired fifteen years ago up with a match here tonight... unfortunately for you, Hunter isn't the smartest guy around here and he put you in a match against the best tag team there is going today... Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards: The Wolves." The trio get up and in to the ring together, staring from across the ring at the veteran tag team, Rollins laughing at the sight of them. He says that it is quite pathetic that they think they still can run around here just because Billy had one match that went on for about five minutes, but the fact of the matter is they'll be lucky to last more than five seconds with Davey and Eddie. He hands the microphone over to Richards, whom steps forward with his partner. "For years now, we've been going around the world showing that The Wolves are the very best tag team in the world... and while you two may have been on top for a little while a very long, long time ago... that's just the thing about it: That's the past, this is the present and you're standing in the ring with not just the present and future of tag team wrestling in this industry... but you're standing in the ring with the present and future of this entire business: Seth Rollins." He gives the mike off to Edwards as the crowd boos the words, Eddie telling the two veterans to make no mistake about it, they've done a lot of things in this industry over their long, drawn-out careers but by the end of time nobody will even remember them. "Because all people will ever and I mean ever talk about when it comes to tag teams... is Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. All people will ever talk about when it comes to tag teams... is The Wolves." Rollins laughs once again as he puts his arms around the shoulders of the duo, The New Age Outlawz looking to one another, giving a nod before throwing fists at Edwards and Richards! Eventually, they clear the two of the ring along with Rollins and are all fired up along with the WWE Universe as the match scheduled between The New Age Outlawz and The Wolves is coming up next!
The Wolves (w/Seth Rollins) vs The New Age Outlawz: Richards and Gunn start things off with the prior hitting various types of kicks to gain control early. After a dragon suplex, Gunn is surprised as he backs up in to the corner. Richards stares him down and a tag is made to Dogg, whom comes storming in and met with a series of kicks to the gut. He has his legs swept out from under him and Edwards is tagged in, hopping in and hit a double foot stomp, followed by a double knee facebreaker in the corner! He goes for the pin, but only gets a count of two from it. He applies a chinlock but with the crowd behind him, Road Dogg manages to fight back to his feet and elbow his way free. He hits a couple of shots to the face and throws in a dancing jig, delivering one big elbow to the top of the head! He hits off the ropes, Gunn tagging himself in, nailing Edwards with a hard kick to the gut and DDT! Billy gets a near fall on the pin attempt and begins to get some momentum going, catching Edwards on a springboard moonsault, dropping him chest first on to the top rope! He flops over the ropes and Gunn knocks Richards off of the apron as well, going to the outside with Road Dogg. They look around the arena to the crowd and play them up a bit, chopping away at The Wolves simultaneously against the apron. After rattling them a bit with big shots to the face, they toss them back in to the ring. Rollins stomps his way over and is furious, shouting in the faces of The New Age Outlawz! They look to each other and laugh, drilling Rollins with a double punch to the face! They turn around, however, to The Wolves hitting a suicide dive through the ropes in to the both of them! They take Billy back in to the ring and Edwards lifts Gunn to his shoulders, hitting a powerbomb in to a backbreaker from Richards! Cole indicates it is called The Force of Nature as Edwards covers for the three! The Wolves def. The New Age Outlawz in 6:32. With an impressive outing, The Wolves get to their feet to boos from the Ontario crowd. Rollins joins them in the ring and holds their arms up high, shouting towards the camera that this is the present and the future of the WWE! "The Administration is here to stay!" He yells out, JBL even throwing out on commentary that The New Age Outlawz were taught a lesson here tonight at the hands of 'the best tag team there is' in Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards!
Cody Rhodes vs R-Truth: The match is started, Rhodes not taking light to Truth's dancing around and crazy antics, dropping him with a hard shot to the face. He begins a ruthless beat down in the corner and has to be pulled back by the referee multiple times. After he backs up, Truth leaps forward and his him with a hard kick to the face! He gets a two count and starts to get things going a little bit in his favor, getting a few more near falls. However, it just further angers Rhodes any more as he gets back on to his feet, throwing Truth to the mat again with a ruthless assault coming afterward. He takes Truth to the outside and throws him in to the steel steps, barricade and announce table. He refuses to let up on him and eventually brings him in to the ring again just to lay him out with the Disaster Kick! He goes for the pin but pulls off on his own at the count of two, growing a smile across his face. He drags Truth back up by his hair and drops him with Cross Rhodes! Slowly, he hooks both legs up for the three count. Cody Rhodes def. R-Truth in 4:45. Rhodes gets back on to his feet and stands over Truth with a sinister grin still. He looks over to ringside and demands for a microphone, being handed one. He leans up against the ropes and takes a few deep breaths. "I'm sick of the games... I'm sick of all of you cheering these people that don't deserve to be cheered... and I'm really sick of you, Adrian Neville... I promise you that you will be taken out... by the diamond... of the Rhodes family." He drops the microphone to the mat and stares off in to the distance, a clear message sent to 'The Man That Gravity Forgot'.
We return to see Renee Young standing atop the stage and she welcomes her guest at this time to be Paige. She makes her way out to a somewhat mixed reaction from the crowd as they still don't seem sure what to think of her, Renee asking about her decision to not only leave Wade Barrett, but The Commonwealth itself, and how it has changed her. Paige nods, saying leaving all of that has done a lot. "For quite a long time I sat back and watched, along with all of the guys in The Commonwealth, as Wade hogged all the glory... eventually, I made a bold decision and I stepped forward to take the Diva's Championship last December... but after I lost it back to AJ Lee at WrestleMania and failed to regain it at Extreme Rules... again, I was forced to sit back and watch as Wade took center stage from all of us in The Commonwealth." She says that she feels bad for Adam Rose, Drew McIntyre and even her mentor William Regal for continuing to go along with all of this. She praises Damien Mizdow for getting up and walking away even if it is bizarre, it is better than being held back from what you want to do. "And what I want to do, Renee, is win the Diva's Championship back... and I understand I've had many opportunities to do so already but with all of that behind me... Wade, The Commonwealth... I am more focused than ever before when it comes to my wrestling career. So AJ, I know you want me to try and impress you... so why don't you face me this Monday in a non-title match yourself and see if I can impress you enough by finally defeating you." She gives a stare in to the camera, her music hitting to more cheers than prior for the confident challenge, Renee thanking her for her time. The cameras pan to the backstage area where Rusev and Lana are seen standing aside one another, Lana with a smile on her face as Rusev looks extremely focused. "Rusev..." She finally says, looking up to him. "Tonight, as you know, is a very important night. I have recently gotten a very supportive phone call from the Russian federation and they are very much proud of you... and they will be watching here tonight... they wanted me to tell you that they want to give you all of their support and wish you the best of luck in your mission to become the United States Champion." He nods while looking in to the distance before turning his attention over to Lana, saying something to her in his own language before turning over in to English. "We're very lucky to have such a supportive country, Lana. Unlike Dean Ambrose, he doesn't have the backing of an entire nation, for his nation is too weak, too spineless to support him." The California crowd boos harshly over the words as Rusev says that tonight, the man that represents a spineless country will have his spine busted and his spirit broken at the hands of 'The Bulgarian Brute'. He grows a smirk across his face, saying that soon all of America will bow down before him as he becomes their United States Champion. He and Lana head off, the main event coming up next!
United States Championship: Dean Ambrose(c) vs Rusev (w/Lana): The bell rings and the two stare each other down, Rusev putting his hands up as part of his signature stance. 'The Bulgarian Brute' shouts at Ambrose as he starts to circle around the ring, running forward right in to a huge kick to the gut! Rusev clubs him across the back and takes him in to the corner, hitting relentless kicks and headbutts, eventually pulling back with a roar to the crowd after the referee gets to a four count. He charges right back but Ambrose ducks between the ropes close by, sending a big kick up in to the head. He goes to the top rope and comes flying right off with a big elbow to the head, getting a two count on a pin attempt. For a minute or so, he manages to keep Rusev grounded. After he starts to rise, he runs to the corner and pushes off the middle turnbuckle with his foot, charging right back to a leaping kick to the face! 'The Lunatic Fringe' is stunned as Rusev lets out another roar to the crowd as a commercial break comes in. Following the break, Rusev remains dominant in the match as he refuses to let Ambrose get any offense in. As soon as he does, Rusev is quick to shut it down with a ruthless shot to the face whether it be by his feet or hands. After he misses on a leaping side kick, however, he is caught off guard with a rushing forearm to the face! He is staggered and Ambrose continues to come at him with the shots to the face, eventually rocking him to the ropes. As Dean goes back to the well one more time though, Rusev ducks down and launches him over the ropes and to the floor with a thud! He follows to the outside and tosses Ambrose around a bit before slamming him face first in to the steel post, shoving him back in to the ring. Rusev takes his time to pump his fists up to the crowd, essentially declaring himself the United States Champion already. With a euphoric look in his eyes, he gets on to the apron only to be blindsided with a dropkick from Ambrose! He wobbles a bit and Ambrose hits him with another one, dropping him back on to the floor and up against the announce table. 'The Lunatic Fringe' flies across the other side of the ring and roars right back with a suicide dive! Rusev, ever the monster if there is one, shakes it off very quickly and hoists Ambrose on to his shoulders - dropping him with a Samoan Drop on to the floor! The commentary team seems a bit worried about Ambrose as he struggles to even move, Rusev rising back up slowly. He rolls in and out of the ring to break the eight count of the referee and walks right over to the announce table, removing the cover and the monitors! He pulls Ambrose back up and lays him right across the desk, looking around the arena with a scowl. He slowly gets on to the barricade and struggles at first to keep his balance but eventually gathers himself enough to charge forward with a yell, leaping off only for the United States Champion to roll off the announce table and let Rusev crash right through! The crowd cheers as Ambrose starts to crawl towards the ring, grabbing on to the ring apron. He struggles on to his feet but with the official at a nine count, he dramatically makes it back in to the ring just as he reaches ten! Dean Ambrose def. Rusev via count out to retain the United States Championship in 15:15. The California fans cheer Ambrose on as he makes it on to his feet once again, being presented his United States Championship belt. He holds it high over his head with a smirk while pushing up against the ropes, Lana kneeling beside Rusev as Ambrose has managed to survive the fight against 'The Bulgarian Brute!' After Cole and JBL go over the replays to the finish of the match where Rusev crashed through the announce table and subsequently got counted out, we come back in to the arena to see Ambrose still celebrating the victory while Rusev finally gets on to his side, a very angry look across his face as you can guarantee this is not the end of Rusev's chase in becoming United States Champion! Thursday Night Smackdown comes to an end.

mfw I come in here to reply to RAW, but you posted SmackDown. A fitting way to kick off the show after the monstrous final segment on RAW. I'm incredibly intrigued by The Administration, although it may be coming too soon after The Authority. I'm not one to comment on that, though. I had the Maddox Administration, God's Gifts and Committee all within a year. Still, Seth Rollins and The Wolves in a stable is the tits. CM Punk and AJ Styles can't seem to stay out of the way of stables, though, seeing as how it wasn't long ago they were feuding with The Purge and Commonwealth respectively. Poor Jack Swagger. Making Roman Reigns look STRONG! Was a decent way to get Roman some momentum back, and allow him the time to address Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman. The Miz and Damien Mizdow going over The Usos was the better call. NEW... DAY ROCKS! NEW.... DAY ROCKS! Guess that answers my question from before as to whether they're heels or babyfaces. Actually think I'd enjoy a Wolves/Outlawz match up. Glad to see it happen here, and an appropriate result with Davey and Eddie getting their first win on the main roster. Yeeee. That Cody Rhodes push is in full effect! Good win for him over R-Truth, although I suspect that Adrian Neville will ultimately come out on top in their rivalry. Bleh. Lovely promo from Paige to set up a non-title match against AJ on RAW. With Paige as a face now, it seems clear that she'll overcome AJ at either Night of Champions or another date not that long after. Lastly, a big main event on SmackDown for the second week in a row. While the finish was underwhelming for a television main event, it does progress the rivalry to an inevitable rematch at Night of Champions. I suspect that's where Rusev will win the title, even though I personally want Dean Ambrose to retain. A very solid SmackDown this week. Looking forward to more as NOC draws near.

- Triple H it seems he is returning as a babyface authority figure and I can get used to it especially if he and Bischoff are going to be at odds in a power struggle for control and if there is a brand split then I can definitely see Eric Bischoff in control of RAW with Triple H the COO being the GM of Smackdown especially if this brand split takes effect following WrestleMania 31 but then that means you would have to bring back the World Heavyweight Championship because with a brand split then you would need 2 World Titles as opposed to 1
- But with the brand split you would have to have both brands RAW and Smackdown on equal footing on the same level with both brands having A-list superstars
- Roman Reigns I really love him as a babyface because as a babyface he has seemingly become more popular but even as a heel he was popular as a Paul Heyman Guy
- And with TLC I am glad that you are bringing back TLC even if it is replacing Cyber Sunday
- Starting off Smackdown with Seth Rollins Mr. Money in the Bank and his Security Team of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards The Wolves I still can't get over the fact that The Wolves are associated with Rollins but at the same time they talk about Triple H's return but at the same time now that Triple H is back it is only a matter of time before he crosses paths with not only Rollins but also with Edwards & Richards but seeing as how they are all associated with Bischoff the co-GM of WWE and with Triple H also as the COO/co-GM of WWE I mean there will be a power struggle I mean it is inevitable
- Triple H's friends The New Age Outlaws Road Dogg and Billy Gunn they are associated with Triple H because of their stable D-X and seeing them clash with The Wolves, it is the ultimate tag team battle, past vs the future
- Roman Reigns pretty much squashing Swagger in a squash match it seems Reigns is all business because he is focused on only one thing that being Cesaro and Heyman and considering their match is at Night of Champions I can see Reigns attacking Cesaro and Heyman eventually but I can see them attacking Reigns too, tit for tat until the actual PPV
- It seems The Usos and The New Day seem to be feuding because The New Day gets involved all be it distracting Jimmy and Jey Uso but The Miz and Mizdow seem to get another win beating The Usos, it seems the best thing Sandow ever did was walk away from Barrett walking away from The Commonwealth because as Miz's stunt double/tag team partner they actually seem to be coming into their own but as for The New Day it appears that now that they are not babyfaces but are rather heels and I can see them coming into their own as heels because Kofi he's been a top heel before in this diary back when he was a World Champion after he cashed in his Money in the Bank and at one time Big E was Kofi's bodyguard/tag team partner but also Xavier just has what it takes to be a heel
- The Wolves in their debut they manage to beat one of the greatest tag teams in WWE's history, D-X, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn The New Age Outlaws this has got to be an upset this has got to be one of the great shocks honestly
- Cody Rhodes beating R-Truth, I mean the way he beat Truth though, the flash of ruthlessness, aggression the psychotic side of Cody Rhodes coming out in full force I mean Cody Rhodes is obsessed with one thing and that is not only beating Neville but putting Neville out for good he wants to put Neville on the shelf and who knows he might just get his chance to do that at Night of Champions especially if that match is made but for Cody Rhodes the "Diamond" of the Rhodes family you can really push Cody Rhodes to be a main event caliber guy in this diary especially given this psychotic heel gimmick he has now
- Paige wants to impress AJ so she challenges her I wonder if AJ the WWE Divas Champion if she will accept Paige's challenge? If she does and this non-title match happens then we get WrestleMania 30 with these 2 all over again a WrestleMania 30 rematch and these 2 also faced off at SummerSlam too and to see them go at it one more time I wonder if AJ will beat Paige again? And if she does if Paige will snap or if Paige wins then I wonder if AJ will give Paige her match for the WWE Divas Championship? If she does then I see these 2 going at it one final time at Night of Champions and if AJ wins Paige gets no more title shots as long as AJ is champion but if Paige wins she gets the title back
- Rusev winning the match but not winning the title, Ambrose retains the WWE United States Championship by countout, this doesn't hurt Rusev at all because he is still undefeated in the sense that Rusev he hasn't been pinned or been made to submit but even though he technically lose he didn't lose cleanly so it doesn't really hurt him while Ambrose he gets to be WWE United States Champion a little bit longer but I think his days as WWE United States Champion are numbered I see there also being a rematch for the WWE United States Championship but it happening at Night of Champions with Rusev going over and winning the WWE United States Championship ending Ambrose's reign

SEPTEMBER 1, 2014 FROM THE WELLS FARGO ARENA IN DES MOINES, IOWA
Starting things off, footage from last week's Raw is shown where a celebration for Seth Rollins was to be held by Eric Bischoff. At the start of the night, CM Punk and AJ Styles ended up being beaten down at the hands of Rollins' masked security team - revealed later on in the night to be Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards, The Wolves - and corrupt police officers. However, as 'The Administration' was coming in to full form and celebrating at the end of the night, the party was brought to a halt as, unannounced, the Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Triple H, would make his return. He would go on to make the blockbuster announcement he was now the Co-General Manager alongside Bischoff, drastically altering things for The Administration and the WWE.
Instead of the Raw opening video airing, we go straight in to the Wells Fargo Arena from Des Moines, Iowa. After Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield give the welcoming from commentary, 'King of Kings' hits and the crowd cheers as Triple H proceeds to make his way out to the stage with a big smile. He comes down and to the ring, a microphone in his hand as acknowledges the crowd and thanks them for the warm welcoming. "You know, I haven't been around for a few months after I had my battles with Dean Ambrose earlier this year and while I haven't been in front of all of you, I have been doing the old office job back in Stamford, I've been spending quality time with my family and doing work down there in Florida at NXT and the WWE Performance Center... I've also taken time each and every week to watch Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night Smackdown." He says that while the talent has been rich and the matches have been great and a lot of things are going really well, there has been one constant thing each and every week that has made him want to shut off the television and just bang his head off a wall and that is Eric Bischoff. The WWE Universe boos just the mention of his name and Hunter shrugs his shoulders, saying plain and simple he doesn't think Bischoff has been doing a good job and neither does the WWE Board of Directors and that is why he was put in the role as Co-General Manager alongside Bischoff. "Because you see, it wouldn't be... well, pardon the pun, 'best for business' to just fire Eric as things have been on the ups with ratings and promotion sales, et cetera, et cetera... but rather try and right the ship by putting someone like myself beside Eric in order to guide him in the right direction." He says that while he gets that we are here in Iowa, the home state of Bischoff's golden boy, things may be getting quite a bit out of hand. Part of the crowd starts chanting Seth Rollins' name, to which Hunter says that is fair enough, he knows Seth is an incredible young talent but he is also quite an arrogant and immature kid that needs to do some growing up before he can get to the top of this company.
Before Triple H can say anything more, Eric Bischoff's music hits. The other half of the now Co-General Managers makes his way out and is followed by The Administration of Seth Rollins and The Wolves. The group comes down to the ring and stands across from 'The Game', Eric saying he just can't help but find this quite ironic. "Hunter, in case you've forgotten... back when I was originally General Manager around here ten-plus years ago, I was pulling strings left and right in order to make you champion and now you've got the audacity to come out here and say that Seth Rollins isn't deserving of special treatment?" Bischoff says that he finds it hypocrisy at it's finest and even goes as far to say that Rollins doesn't absolutely need any special treatment, but he is the present and future of this business just like Triple H used to be. After a stare down between Bischoff and Hunter, the latter finally responds. "Wow, Eric, you make a good point. I mean, you did do a lot for me when I was an active competitor... but the thing is I was already the man before then. I was already the guy that was kicking ass and taking names week in and week out! I was 'The Game'! I was 'The Cerebral Assassin'! I was 'The King of Kings' and damn it I still am to this day..." The crowd applauds him as he gets close to Bischoff, backing away a bit with a laugh, saying that he could pull that guy out any day, but this is what he is doing now. He is the Chief Operating Officer and now Co-General Manager of the WWE and he isn't going to stand for unnecessary corruption around here and if Bischoff wants to co-operate with him, things will run a lot smoother. Rollins takes the microphone quickly from Bischoff and steps up.
"Do you understand who you are talking to right now?" Rollins asks, getting a big mixed reaction from his home-state crowd. "You're talking to Eric Bischoff! The genius behind everything that is going right in this company right now, the genius behind The Administration and the genius that was behind WCW... the company that almost put you out of a job, Hunter..." As Rollins cracks a grin, Triple H steps forward and tells him that he understands exactly who Eric Bischoff is and he has a lot of respect for what he has done, but he doesn't yet have any respect for Rollins or The Wolves or anybody else that has yet to prove themselves. Rollins looks down at the mat, not having a response. "Yeah, congratulations to you, Eddie. Congratulations, Davey. You won your debut match last week on Smackdown against my good friends, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, The New Age Outlawz. I know you guys are very impressive and I know you've got a lot to offer but just like Seth... I think right now you're a bunch of talk. I think you're still a bit too arrogant and a bit too immature. Back when I was coming up and getting to the top... I earned the right to be arrogant and to be confident and yeah, I was a bit immature when it comes to my days in D-Generation X... but I earned it. I'd love for you guys to earn it too, but it seems like you have no interest in doing that... you think you can align yourself with the likes of Eric Bischoff and get everything handed to you but it doesn't work like that." He takes a moment to pause and turns his attention back over to Rollins, saying that he is making his first two decisions as Co-General Manager right here and right now. The first being that in three weeks at Night of Champions, it will be Seth Rollins versus CM Punk one-on-one. Rollins' eyes widen as he is caught off-guard by the announcement, Hunter going forth to say that the second decision is that The Wolves will get another chance to show what they are made of, this time against the team of CM Punk and the Intercontinental Champion, AJ Styles! The crowd pops for the announcement, Triple H also throwing in that indeed, that match will be right here, right now! The Administration is baffled as 'Cult of Personality' hits to another big pop, CM Punk proceeding to make his way out from the back with a big smile across his face, soon being followed out by AJ Styles as they have the opportunity to get their hands on The Wolves in our opening contest - coming up next!
CM Punk and Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles vs The Wolves (w/Seth Rollins): The bell rings, Punk beginning things with Richards with a very smile across his face. Richards steps forward and they lock up, each exchanging headlocks on one another. Punk gets thrown off the ropes and met with a series of shoot kicks to the gut, followed by a hard snap DDT that leads to a two count. Richards is fast to pull Punk back on to his feet and fire away at him until he falls back in to the corner, hitting a charging elbow to the face before tagging in Edwards. He comes in and The Wolves hit a pop-up toss from Edwards with a kick from Richards as he falls down, resulting in another near fall. Eddie dominates the match for a couple of minutes but he is quick to lose momentum as Punk starts to fight back, eventually hitting a giant kick to the back of the head! He goes for the Go To Sleep but Edwards manages to slip off and apply a dragon sleeper! Punk scrambles around in the hold and as he starts to fade away, he suddenly snaps and gets out of it, tossing Edwards over his shoulder and to the mat, blasting him with a sharp kick to the chest! He makes the tag to Styles and he springboards off the ropes with a forearm to the face! Edwards rolls all the way across the ring and to the outside, looking to regroup with Richards and Rollins as we go to a commercial break. After the time away, the match goes very back and forth, The Wolves finally grabbing the upper hand after Rollins takes Punk's leg as he hits off the ropes, allowing Richards to come up from behind and drop him with a huge German Suplex! He continues with a series of suplexes before delivering a gutbuster that registers a two count. Richards makes the tag to Edwards and he comes in, stomping Punk down a bit before locking him in to a single leg Boston crab. Punk scrambles around wildly in the hold, trying to dig his way out of the hold. After staying locked in it for over a minute, he finally drags himself all the way to the ropes and force the official to break the hold! Edwards staggers to the ropes and grows frustrated, going for another Boston crab only for Punk to roll over and kick him away, quickly scurrying over to his corner to tag Styles in! He springboards off the ropes with a giant dropkick! He pops right back up and runs at Richards, knocking him off the apron. He goes to the top rope as fast as he can and delivers a big crossbody on Edwards, hooking the legs for a very close count of two! The action gets very fast paced and in the mix of things, Punk hits a big kick over the ropes and in to the face of Edwards, having him spin around right in to the Pele via Styles! He falls down to the mat and Styles makes the tag to Punk, whom goes to the top and delivers the signature Randy Savage-inspired elbow drop! He gets back to his feet and puts his hands to the side of his face with a grin, only to have Rollins come in to the ring with his Money in the Bank Briefcase and swing it at his head, only for Punk to duck it and kick him in the back of the head on the turnaround! Rollins falls backwards and through the ropes, Punk turning right in to the grasp of Edwards, Richards coming in to the ring to execute on the Force of Nature! As Styles tries to get in to the ring to break the pin, Rollins grabs his leg and the three is counted! The Wolves def. CM Punk and Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles in 15:02.
Styles drops in to the ring as Rollins lets go, The Wolves sliding out of the ring with, despite the antics, a very impressive win in their second WWE match. They make their way over to Rollins and fall in to his arms, 'Mr. Money in the Bank' laughing at Styles as he looks towards them as he checks on Punk, whom remains cringing in pain on the mat from the Force of Nature. "I told you on Thursday, Michael, that these guys are the real deal!" JBL says with some excitement, Cole saying he can't help but agree that they are impressive, but he also thinks that Triple H is right about that trio and that they are arrogant and immature, but still have a lot to prove! "They just proved themselves right there and then, Michael!" JBL shouts as they get in to a bit of an argument with each other. "No! Shut up, Michael! Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are the best tag team in the world today and they are going to prove it every chance they get! And with Seth Rollins and Eric Bischoff backing them they will be unstoppable! I guarantee it, Michael! I guarantee it! Don't you argue against me, you idiot!" Rollins and The Wolves keep celebrating as they make their way towards the back, Punk sitting back up in the ring shaking his head.
We return to see Seth Rollins and The Wolves walking down the halls, celebrating with each other over the victory for Richards and Edwards just moments ago. As they keep heading down, they come to a stop as up to them walks none other than Triple H. "Oh, come on!" Rollins says as he is approached by the new Co-General Manager, whom stuffs his hands in his pockets and congratulates The Wolves on their victory against Punk and Styles, telling them that it was quite impressive. Rollins thanks him and tries to pull his guys along, only to be stopped by Hunter. "Whoa, whoa, whoa... Seth! Seth! Where you going?" He asks, Rollins asking what he wants. 'The Game' shrugs his shoulders and says he just wants to make sure he wasn't leaving before his match later on. Rollins scoffs and says he isn't competing tonight, which Hunter quickly shuts down saying that he actually is. "See, your opponent for Night of Champions, CM Punk, just had a match... so I figure it would only be fair if you had one as well... so, tonight, Seth Rollins will go one on one... with The Big Show." Triple H smiles as Rollins and The Wolves look at him in disbelief, Hunter patting 'Mr. Money in the Bank' on the shoulder before walking off.
Cutting to Renee Young, she welcomes her guest at this time - Tyson Kidd. He steps forward along with his wife, Natalya, and removes his headphones. Young thanks him for taking time to speak to her before his 'Intercontinental Champion Challenge' continues. She asks what it is that is making him begin this challenge every week, Kidd laughing. "Renee, everyone in WWE... scratch that, everyone in the world knows that Tyson Kidd deserves to be a champion. Fact! As a top graduate of The Hart Dungeon... the last graduate. Fact!" He says that he hasn't been a champion since winning the WWE Tag Team Championships on two different occasions in 2010 and it has been a miracle he has lasted so long since - fact. "But the real miracle, Renee... is that the WWE has lasted this long without Tyson Kidd being a champion... Fact! So until we get what we all deserve - an Intercontinental Championship match for Tyson Kidd - fact! We'll have the Tyson Kidd Intercontinental Champion Challenge and anybody that accepts the challenge will be beat... Fact!" He and Natalya head off, as his challenge is coming up next.
After the break, Tyson Kidd and Natalya stand in the ring waiting for somebody to answer The Tyson Kidd Intercontinental Champion Challenge. After there is nobody coming out at first, Kidd says that everyone is clearly afraid. However, the entrance music of Rob Van Dam hits to a big pop from the crowd! He makes his way out for the first time since participating in the first ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal back at WrestleMania XXX, the former six time Intercontinental Championship coming in to the ring with a big smile on his face, being met with some 'welcome back!' chants, Kidd escorts his wife out of the ring and shakes his head at RVD.
The Tyson Kidd Intercontinental Champion Challenge: Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) vs Rob Van Dam: The referee calls for the bell and Kidd steps up, talking some trash to the veteran, whom just smiles and puts his thumbs over his head, leading the crowd in unison of saying his initials 'R-V-D'! Kidd takes exception to it and goes for a kick, only for RVD to catch it and hit him with a spinning wheel kick! Kidd rolls out of the ring as fast as he can and paces back and forth in anger before getting back in to the ring. After going back and forth with one another for a bit, Kidd rakes the eyes in the corner and hops to the second rope, diving off with a huge DDT! He hooks the legs and thinks he has it won, only for Van Dam to kick out at two. Kidd gets agitated and begins to argue with the referee, allowing RVD to roll him up for a very close near fall. Kidd pops right back up and gets drilled with a series of kicks, finished off with a thrust kick from the corner. He looks all around the arena and gets his initials shouted again, smiling while giving a thumbs up to the WWE Universe. He hits off the ropes and comes back with the Rolling Thunder to a pop! He gets right back up and goes to the corner, leaping right to the top rope. He seems to be poised for the Five Star Frog Splash but Natalya gets on to the apron, RVD shouting at her to get down. The referee encourages the same and Natalya seems hesitant about it, eventually getting down very slowly. 'The Whole Dam Show' returns his attention back to Kidd and leaps off with the Five Star Frog Splash only for Kidd to roll out of the way! The crowd boos as Tyson gets back up, planting RVD with a swinging fisherman suplex! He hooks the leg for the pinfall. Tyson Kidd def. Rob Van Dam in 6:48.
To the disapproval of the Wells Fargo Arena, Kidd gets back on to his feet and pumps his fist to the crowd with a grin. In to the ring comes Natalya, whom gives her husband a hug and kiss as for the third week in a row - after The Godfather and Billy Gunn - he has defeated yet another Intercontinental Champion and continues to plead his case to get a title shot.
Non-Title Match: Diva's Champion AJ Lee vs Paige: The bell sounds, AJ and Paige coming up to the middle of the ring. AJ extends her hand and Paige accepts it, the two getting some applause as they back away and circle around. They lock up with one another and Paige shows her desperation early, going for some quick pins as soon as she rattles AJ a bit. After hitting a high knee in the corner, she goes for a suplex but AJ slips her way out of the hold and hits a big kick to the gut. She hits a big tilt-a-whirl headscissors and gets a near fall off of it, leading to a little bit of frustration. She drags Paige back up and keeps control of the match by applying a few standing submission holds, eventually hitting off the ropes only to come back to a giant side kick to the face! Paige goes for the pin and gets a very close two count! Back to her feet fast, Paige picks the pace up of the match, but stops going in for the finish. She ends up applying a modified STF! AJ struggles in the hold immediately and stays in it for a while, Paige screaming for her to submit. The champion, however, digs her way to the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope and force Paige to break it by the referee's count of four. Both women get on to their feet and Paige charges at AJ in to the corner, mashing her with a clothesline. She yanks AJ back to the middle of the ring and puts her in position for the Ram-Paige, letting out a scream to the crowd! Before she can hit the move, however, AJ manages to writhe her way free, duck a shot to the face and wrap Paige right up in the Black Widow almost out of nowhere! Paige flails around in the hold before dropping on to her knees, looking to be in tons of pain from the Black Widow as AJ continues to pull away at it. Paige realizes she can't get out and submits! Diva's Champion AJ Lee def. Paige in 8:24.
AJ lets go of the hold and drops to the mat, seeming to be a bit exhausted from the match. She gets to her feet shortly thereafter, being presented with her Diva's Championship belt. "AJ Lee may have won this match, guys, but Paige put all she had in to that..." Lawler comments as Lee exits the ring, backing up the ramp slowly. Paige, meanwhile, gets on to her knees holding on to her arm while shaking her head, knowing that she may have lost her opportunity to convince AJ she deserves another shot at the Diva's Championship here tonight.
Backstage after the commercial break, Paige is seen walking backstage with a look of absolute disappointment on her face. She takes a seat on one of the production trunks and just looks down to the floor, being slowly approached by the woman that just defeated her moments ago, Diva's Champion AJ Lee. The two don't say anything at first but AJ finally tells Paige that she has made a decision about giving her another title shot. "You've impressed me, Paige, I'll admit it... but I did defeat you tonight." Paige stands up and tells AJ she understands and begins to go off, only for Lee to tell her to hold on just a minute. "I did beat you, Paige... but like I also said: You have impressed me lately. So I'm going to give you one more chance at my championship." Paige's eyes widen in shock, thanking AJ for the chance. The Diva's Champion says that it will be under one condition, however, and that condition is that this be the absolute final match for the Diva's Championship between the two of them. "No matter who wins, Paige, you and I don't get back in to the ring and do this again because after the past nine months this needs to come to an end... do you understand?" Paige nods and tells AJ she does understand. Lee tells her that she'll be seeing her at Night of Champions and skips away, Paige staring with some confidence.
Suddenly, the signature of The Wyatt Family hits and on the titantron appears Bray Wyatt to a loud reaction from the crowd. "You know something, man?" He questions as he paces back and forth, laughing a little bit under his breath. "I tried to make this easy... I tried to do right by you and I tried to right by all... but you've lived this lie and you keep fighting it... now, I have been left with no choice but to destroy you." He looks deep in to the camera, saying that he has lived this life destined for greatness, bound for all the glory and to ascend to the throne of a broken world. "Your day of reckoning may have come and gone, Bryan... but the hands on the clock do not stop ticking! I WILL COME AFTER YOU AS IT KEEPS ON TICKING AND TICKING UNTIL I GET WHAT I DESERVE! WHAT I'M DESTINED TO HAVE AND BECOME WHAT I AM DESTINED TO BE AND WHAT I AM DESTINED TO BE IS THE WWE CHAMPION!" He spreads his arms out with his eyes widened, nodding very slowly with a chuckle. He says that tonight he will make an example of Roman Reigns and he hopes that Bryan is watching very closely because as the time winds down to their battle at Night of Champions, the more lethal and more hungry he will become. Wyatt takes a long while to stare in to the camera while laughing once again, simply giving a warning of "run" as the signature of The Wyatt Family hits once again.
We return at ringside where Cole, Lawler and Layfield talk about how we started the night off with a bang as Triple H made the announcement Seth Rollins would face CM Punk at Night of Champions. Cole says that also, we were given the opportunity to see The Wolves in action as they took on Punk and AJ Styles and since Punk will go up against Rollins at Night of Champions, Co-General Manager Eric Bischoff has announced that next week right here on Raw, he will be making the decision on whom AJ Styles will defend the Intercontinental Championship against in three weeks at Night of Champions! "Well you've got a lot of guys to choose from, Michael!" JBL points out, saying that he is confident that Eric Bischoff will make the right decision! After they are done having that discussion, The Usos are brought in to the scene as they are going to be joining in on commentary for the next match. "JBL, uce, you need to chill, man!" Jey says with a laugh, Jimmy agreeing with his brother - telling JBL to take it down a notch, he always seems so tense. "Well, guys, some people that aren't so tense are ones you've had problems with lately!" Notes Cole. "That being Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods of The New Day..." The Usos are quick to say that they are indeed a positive bunch, but they are a bunch of cheapskates too!
The New Day (w/Xavier Woods) vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow: Starting things off are Miz and Big E, the prior starting off by doing his now-signature dramatic sunglasses removal, which Mizdow follows up by doing himself - getting a much more positive response for it. Big E is quick to overpower Miz and toys around with him a bit, clapping in the middle of the match a few times. "The New Day sure love to clap, but they should learn how to win without cheating." Jimmy says as Big E and Kingston start to make in-and-out tags, dominating the match. After a missed leaping splash in the corner from Kingston, however, Miz manages to plant him to the mat with a backbreaker-neckbreaker combination. Both men slowly crawl to their respective corners and make the hot tag each, Mizdow shocking Big E as he flips him over his shoulder and to the mat! He gets a bunch of momentum going but as he hits off the ropes, Woods grabs his feet and trips him up! The crowd boos as Woods backs up and puts his hands in the air to show his innocence to the official, Big E hooking the waist of Mizdow as he brings him to his feet. He is distracted, however, as The Usos come off of commentary and take Woods by the hair! "Hey! That's my hair! THAT'S MY BEAUTIFUL HAIR!" Woods screams, Big E tossing Mizdow aside. He steps up to the ropes and yells at The Usos to knock it off, giving enough time for Mizdow to make a tag to Miz, whom comes in to the ring from behind with a grin. As The Usos let Woods go, Big E backs right up to the Skull Crushing Finale! Miz hooks the legs for the one, two, three! The Miz and Damien Mizdow def. The New Day in 5:54.
The crowd gives a pop to the surprise victory as The New Day is absolutely livid over the result! Kingston and Woods try to go at The Usos but they make their way around the ring while Miz and Mizdow make their way up the ramp, their fists in the air while making the same motions.
Coming back from the break, The Miz and Damien Mizdow are walking through the back and Miz is talking himself up, Mizdow mouthing every word he says while still making the same motions with his body. "I could be the greatest tag team of all time!" Miz says with a twinkle in his egotistical eye, the two soon being approached by The Commonwealth to boos from the fans in the background. "You two really think you're the hot tag team now, do you?" Barrett questions with a scoff, Miz saying that he is the hottest tag team right now. "Well, I just had a long conversation with Triple H and Eric Bischoff and before you two get up on your high horse too much, there is another team on the block in the form of myself and my new right hand man, Drew McIntyre." He pats McIntyre on the back as he steps forward, staring Mizdow down with a shake of his head - telling him that he was disappointed when he left, but he is real glad now. Barrett says that not only will he and McIntyre face them this Thursday on Smackdown, but next week on Raw it will be them, Miz and Mizdow, The Usos and The New Day in a fatal four way match to determine the next number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The Commonwealth all laugh together as they head off, Miz just laughing along with Mizdow.
Elimination Chase: John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio vs Kevin Owens: The bell rings and, similar to last week, Owens hops out of the ring and tells the other three to go at it. Cena, Orton and Del Rio all look to each other and shake their heads, exiting the ring. Owens backs up the ramp and out from the crowd comes the WWE Tag Team Champions, Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe to boos. They hop over the barricade on the other side of the ring. However, as they start to circle the ring out comes new Co-General Manager Triple H! He stands just a few feet away from Owens and says he isn't going to have any of this this week. "Crowe, Zayn... if you get involved in this Elimination Chase, Kevin Owens is going to be disqualified." The Purge are livid over the announcement as a commercial break comes in! After the time away, the match is split in half as Orton and Owens go at it while Cena combats with Del Rio. They mix up a few times, eventually Orton and Del Rio being thrown to the outside which brings us to a stare down between Cena and Owens, the crowd getting very excited as the two stare down, Owens licking his lips with a smile. They come up to one another and Cena offers up a lock up, only to be kicked right in the gut after Owens teases it! He begins a ruthless beat down on Cena and pushes him off the ropes, delivering a big time Pop Up Powerbomb! The crowd is stunned as he goes for the pin, Cena finding a way to just barely kick out at two! Owens shakes his head as he gets back to his feet, dragging Cena along with him. He pushes him off the ropes again only for Cena to push off as Owens goes for the powerbomb again, spinning him around right in to the RKO from Orton! 'The Viper' hooks the leg but Owens some how kicks out just in the nick of time! Orton sits up and looks over his shoulder in disbelief at Owens kicking out. He gets back on to his feet and sees Del Rio coming on to the apron, rushing to him in order to bring him through the ropes for the rope hung DDT. As he snaps his head around wildly, however, Cena comes rushing up and hits him with a shoulder block! Cena starts to get momentum going against Orton and ends up setting him up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle! He hits off the ropes for it but comes back to Owens back on his feet, tossing him right through the ropes and to the floor to a loud mixed reaction, some loud cheers in the mix. He stands up over Orton and looks around the arena, mocking Cena as he proceeds to deliver the Five Knuckle Shuffle! He leans in, seemingly ready to hit the powerbomb on Orton only to have Del Rio come up from behind and hit him with a huge superkick! Owens drops to a knee, wobbling as he gets back to his feet. 'The Mexican Aristocrat' taking the arm for the Rolling Cross Armbar only to be shockingly caught as he goes to roll over on to Owens' shoulders and popped up in to the air, Orton catching Del Rio with the RKO on the fall! The Iowa crowd goes wild as 'The Apex Predator' is quick to pounce on the opportunity, hook the legs and get the three count! Randy Orton, John Cena and Kevin Owens def. Alberto Del Rio in 15:45.
Orton sits back up as the crowd is still electric over the finish to the match, 'The Viper' getting back on to his feet as multiple replays of the finish are shown. After doing some celebrating on the second rope, Orton drops down and turns to see Owens standing across the ring from him and Cena coming back in on the other side. The three all look around at one another as they'll take part in the blockbuster final three of the Elimination Chase next week. As Cena goes to exit the ring, however, he is hit from behind by Owens with a boot to the back of the head! He starts a beat down in the corner and backs up across the ring, breathing heavily as Orton watches on. He runs forward and it seems he is going for a cannonball, only to have Orton step in front of him and set him up for the RKO - Owens managing to shove him off and catch him off the ropes with the Pop Up Powerbomb! With his eyes widened, Owens seizes the opportunity to bring Cena on to his feet, push him off the ropes and hit him with the Pop Up Powerbomb as well! A big roar is let out by Owens as he shouts to the crowd, vowing victory in this Elimination Chase! "This man definitely could win this Elimination Chase, guys." JBL says, saying that he is one of the most dangerous superstars he has seen in a long time and everyone should be on notice!
We return and the crowd explodes for the arrival of United States Champion, Dean Ambrose! He stomps his way out from the back and marches all the way across the stage, his eyes widen as a chant of his last name even breaks out. He comes down to the ring and tosses his belt over the ropes, rolling in after it while snatching up a microphone from ringside. "In case you can't see it way up there in the rafters, Iowa..." He says as he scoops his title back up from the mat with the crowd cheering for the mention of the state. "Last week on Smackdown I stepped in to the ring with that big, Russian... Bulgarian... whatever... and I took it to him and he damn sure took it to me but being the bumbling moron that he is, he took himself out of commission by throwing himself through an announce table..." He points up to the titantron, showing a replay form Thursday where Rusev was controlling the match and decided to put Ambrose up on the announce table, going to splash him through only for Ambrose to roll off and let him crash. Back live, the crowd cheers the footage as Ambrose says he may have won by count out, but Rusev kind of asked for it doing stupid stuff like that. "And hey, trust me, I know a thing or two about stupid stuff and that is why I'm out here tonight because after last week... I don't feel too proud to have beaten Rusev the way I did last week so I wanted to offer him another chance at my title at Night of Champions!" The fans cheer Ambrose on as he says that sounds fair to him and he loves beating the crap out of Rusev, so it sounds like a win-win. Meanwhile, on commentary, JBL calls Ambrose totally nuts for wanting to keep getting in the ring with 'The Bulgarian Brute'!
Soon after, Rusev and Lana proceed to make their way out and the prior certainly doesn't look very happy as he holds the Russian Flag proudly in his hand. "Dean..." Lana says, stopping very quickly as the crowd chants 'U-S-A' at them, prompting 'The Ravishing Russian' to order them all to shut up to heavy boos. "Dean... you're right. You know what stupid is, for if you truly want to step in to the ring with Rusev once again, there will be no mistakes. The only mistake will be yours for making said challenge, for you will be crushed!" Ambrose leans across the ropes and raises his eyebrows, calling Lana 'baby' repeatedly as he says that he just loves to beat the ugly out of Rusev and he thinks it may take a long time to make Rusev look like Leonardo DiCaprio! The crowd gets a kick out of the comments as Rusev takes the mike from Lana, responding with a mocking laugh towards Ambrose's jokes. "You think you're funny, Ambrose? You're not! What is funny is you thinking you stand a chance against me..." Rusev reminds Ambrose that he was destroying him in their match last week before he got too greedy when he attempted to crush him. He says that he'd be more than happy to accept a rematch at Night of Champions, so he can finally take the United States Championship back to Russia and be a champion 'all the stupid Americans' will be forced to bow before. Ambrose chuckles, saying he is looking forward to it. He tosses the mike over his shoulder but Rusev steps forward, stomping his feet to the stage. He lets out a big yell and shakes his fists wildly with the Russian flag still in his hand, a bigger version of the flag dropping down from above the ring. Ambrose looks up at it and shakes his head as Rusev gives a big-eyed stare to the ring before storming to the back along with Lana.
Adrian Neville vs Cody Rhodes: The match begins, Neville flying around the ring wildly while rattling Rhodes repeatedly. He handsprings all the way across the ring and comes flying back only to be caught with a huge elbow to the face, Rhodes looking to put things away early with the Disaster Kick only for Neville to duck underneath it and deliver a big kick to the gut, followed by a huge tornado DDT that stuns Rhodes for a two count. Cody rolls out of the ring and Neville follows after him, the two beginning to brawl on the outside. 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' gets in to the ring to break up the count of the referee before going right up to the top rope, leaping off with a moonsault! Neville lands on his feet and brings Rhodes back up, working away at him against the apron before rolling him in to the ring. He goes to the top rope and sets up for the Red Arrow already, only for Rhodes to get back up before he leaps, springboarding and hitting the Disaster Kick with Neville on the ropes! He falls down to the mat and Cody stops himself, slowly rolling out of the ring. He takes the leg of Neville and with a sick smile, swings it right in to the steel post! He continues to wrap it around the post until the referee gets to a four count. Rhodes comes back in to the ring and sits over Neville's chest, pounding away at the knee some more. He slams it to the mat a few times and has to be held back by the official. Soon, Neville struggles back on to his feet and Rhodes continues to toy with him a bit, kicking the knee out from underneath 'The Man That Gravity Forgot'! He refuses to let up on it but eventually decides to put Neville out of his misery, dropping him with Cross Rhodes. He covers him for the pinfall.Cody Rhodes def. Adrian Neville in 6:29. Rhodes slowly gets back to his feet with a smirk, continuing to stomp away at the knee despite the pleas of the official. "I told you I would take you out!" Rhodes shouts as he continues to put the boots to the knee. This is what happens when you mess with the diamond of the Rhodes family!" He drags Neville on to his feet and chucks him to the outside, following just to drop him with Cross Rhodes on the hard floor! The crowd boos as Rhodes rises on to his feet very slowly, running his hands over his face and through his hair, backing up the ramp with a sick smirk.
The entrance music of Big Show hits following the break and he makes his way out to a solid pop from the crowd. 'The World's Largest Athlete' comes in to the ring and after raising his big hand to the WWE Universe with a roar, looks up the ramp awaiting his opponent. After a bit of a wait, Seth Rollins proceeds to make his way out to the stage but he stays atop the ramp, a suspicious smile across his face as he taps a microphone in his hand with a laugh. "Big Show... Big Show... Big Show... Big Show." He shakes his head and says he can't believe that he really thought he was going to get the chance to put his big old paws on him here tonight. "Because while Triple H thinks he can call the shots around here, I've got a bit of say in things too... You see, The Administration is going to run strong even if Triple H wants to try and ruin things for everybody and after checking back with my personal doctor, it appears I have a small issue with my knee right now, so our match isn't going to be happening tonight, Show." Rollins laughs and Show demands a microphone from ringside, saying that he doesn't believe a word coming out of his mouth and he thinks he is just afraid to get in the ring with him. "And if you can't have a match with me, Seth, I'll just fight you and I'll fight you right up there on that stage if I have to." Rollins' home state crowd gets a bit anxious as Show steps over the ropes, only to drop down to the floor and be jumped on by Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards - The Wolves! Punches go flying as they work away at Show, only to get shoved back. They come right at him again, however, and end up pushing him back in to the steel post! Rollins comes rushing down to the ring and swings his Money in the Bank Briefcase right in to the face of Show! "So much for that knee injury, huh, Seth!?" Lawler exclaims on commentary, saying he knew he was faking it!
Rollins, Richards and Edwards pull Show to his feet and bring him in to the ring, The Wolves retrieving steel chairs from ringside! They bring them in to the ring and Edwards hands one to Rollins, all three of them beginning to smash the chairs down across the back of Show! Boos fill the arena as the beat down continues, a loud chant for CM Punk breaking out. The riff of 'Cult of Personality' soon hits, CM Punk and Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles making their way out from the back with steel chairs of their own! As soon as they hit the ring, however, Rollins and The Wolves get out of the ring with smiles on their faces, having accomplished what they came to accomplish by taking care of Big Show rather than have Rollins compete. Despite that, Punk and Styles continue to try and get them to come back in to the ring to no avail.
Renee Young is standing by backstage with Roman Reigns and thanks him for his time ahead of his match coming up against the number one contender for the WWE Championship, Bray Wyatt. She asks him about going in to this match with a manipulator like Wyatt while he still has to have Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman on his mind, how can he focus? "Renee, I'm always focused... I can focus on many things at once but once I step in to the ring, no matter who is standing across from me, I'm like a raging bull because all I can see is red." He says that yeah, he definitely has Cesaro and Heyman on his mind but he also has Bray Wyatt on his mind and he doesn't care if he is a master manipulator or the number one contender for the WWE Title. "The fact of the matter is I've got a hair trigger... and when Antonio and Paul set me off last Monday after all I've been through... man, if anyone should be worried tonight it should be Bray Wyatt because I've got this fist cocked and loaded and I'll be damned if I don't use it every chance I get right now... and you can believe that, Renee." He holds his fist up in front of his face with a determined smile, heading off as the main event is coming up next!
Bray Wyatt (w/The Wyatt Family) vs Roman Reigns: The bell rings, Wyatt leaning down in to the corner. He gets out and laughs as he dangles his fingers in front of his face towards Reigns. "You're just like him! You're a lost soul! YOU HAVE NO DIRECTION! YOU'RE A FAILURE!" The two come up to the middle of the ring, exchanging stiff shots back and forth. Wyatt gets the upper hand and hits a few headbutts in the corner, Reigns coming back with a hard shot to the chin. He hits some headbutts of his own and even drops Wyatt with a Samoan Drop! He gets back to his feet and lets out a fired up yell to the crowd, getting them behind him a bit. He turns to see Rowan getting on to the apron and runs up to him, delivering a huge Superman Punch! He leans over the ropes to stare at Rowan a bit before looking over to Harper, warning him that he'll do the same to him. As soon as Reigns turns around, however, he is smashed with a hard body block! He gets on to his knees and spreads his arms to the booing crowd with a smile as a commercial break comes in. After the break, Wyatt maintains control of the match as it slows down and he keeps things on the mat. He works Reigns a bit and gets him in the corner. Once Reigns starts to mount a comeback, however, he gets rocked with a shot to the face and tossed to the outside. As Wyatt stays back by orders of the official, Rowan gets a bit of revenge for the Superman Punch from earlier on in the match by hitting him with a big spin kick to the face! Wyatt rolls out of the ring and stands over Reigns, smacking him a few times before slamming his face in to the steel steps repeatedly. He gets elbowed, however, and Reigns shoves him in to the steel post back first! He takes hold of him and rams 'The Eater of Worlds' up against the barricade and the ring apron before getting back in to the ring. He goes for a pin but gets just a count of two. Reigns gets back up and brings Wyatt with him, each throwing heavy shots at each other with the crowd responding with back-and-forth boos and cheers to go along with the punches. Reigns starts to gain the upper hand until Wyatt suddenly snaps and takes a hold of his head, setting up for Sister Abigail! "THIS IS WHAT IS COMING FOR YOU, BRYAN!" He shouts only for Reigns to break free and push off the ropes, returning with a Superman Punch! He rolls out of the ring and suddenly charges at Harper, hitting him with a Spear! Rowan comes running over, but Reigns ducks a boot to the face and proceeds to Spear him as well! Wyatt crawls to the ropes and leans in between the middle and bottom, Reigns charging at him and leaping with a big kick to the face! Reigns lets out a roar to the crowd as he is all fired up! He rolls back in to the ring and leans in the corner, setting up for the Spear on Wyatt. However, Antonio Cesaro strolls out from the back alongside Paul Heyman. Reigns just shakes his head at them while looking over the ropes, pointing up the stage. He turns back around to Wyatt and runs at him for the Spear, only for it to be avoided and for Reigns to go right in to the steel post! Wyatt hits him immediately with Sister Abigail as he falls out, hooking the outside leg for the three. Bray Wyatt def. Roman Reigns in 14:39.
The majority of the Des Moines crowd boos the result as Wyatt slowly pulls off of Reigns with a laugh. He gets to his knees and spreads his arms out, Harper and Rowan soon coming in to join him in the ring. Wyatt gets to his feet and after taking a moment to look down at Reigns, turns his attention up the ramp - Cesaro and Heyman gesturing for him to have at it before making their way towards the back, Wyatt giving an evil grin as he moves over to the corner - grabbing a hold of the ropes while stomping his foot. He leans back upside down with a crazed look in his eyes, beginning the spider walk towards Reigns' lifeless body! As soon as he reaches him and turns over, however, the music of WWE Champion Bryan Danielson hits to a huge ovation! He runs right in to the ring and ducks a boot from Rowan, hitting Harper with a dropkick! He gets up and turns right to an absolutely vicious clothesline from Wyatt - flipping him upside down in the process! The electricity from the crowd dies down as Bray once again pushes himself up in to the corner, looking all around the building. He whips his head around and stomps right over to Danielson, dragging him to his feet just to drop him with Sister Abigail! Instead of taking his time to give another message to the crowd and continue to play mind games, however, he brings Danielson on to his feet once again and throws him shoulder first in to the steel post! As he lets him drop to the apron, he instructs Harper and Rowan to dispose of Reigns. They take him to the outside and after clearing the announce table, deliver a big double powerbomb right through it! Back in the ring, Wyatt calls for a microphone and Harper delivers one to him.
"Why... oh why, Bryan, do you insist on living this lie?" Wyatt questions as he stands over him. "Are you afraid of what might happen if you stop being this false idol!? This false hero!? ARE YOU AFRAID OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND ALL YOU SEE LOOKING BACK AT YOU IS THE DEMONS THAT ARE INSIDE OF YOU THAT YOU REFUSE TO LET OUT!?" He drives his foot in to the face of Danielson as he tries to use the ropes to get away, telling him that he can run, but he cannot hide. He leans down right in to the face of Danielson, ordering him to stop struggling. "I don't hide from what I am, Bryan... I am what these people need and I am what these people truly deserve... not you... WHETHER THEY RECOGNIZE THESE TRUTHS OR WHETHER THEY ARE BLIND SHEEP FOLLOWING ALONG IN THE HERD THEY ARE GOING TO BE THANKING ME WHEN I TAKE MY SEAT RIGHTFULLY UPON THE THRONE AS WWE CHAMPION!" He swings the microphone down in to the skull of Danielson and unleashes with it, continuing to pummel away as the thud, thud, thud is heard with each shot until the microphone dies out. He throws it aside and drags Bryan's limp body up in to the middle of the ring, taking a moment to look around the arena before planting him with another Sister Abigail! The arena is silenced as Wyatt gets to his knees, Harper and Rowan coming in with the WWE Championship in their hands, presenting it to their leader. He holds it in front of him and begins to laugh wildly while rocking back and forth. "BEHOLD! THE NEW FACE OF FEAR!" He shouts to the crowd, his laugh echoing throughout the Wells Fargo Arena as Monday Night Raw draws to an end.

- It seems that the COO and co-GM of WWE, Triple H is a babyface authority figure and it seems already that he and Bischoff the other co-GM of WWE are at odds here for power and considering a decade ago 10 years ago to be exact, Ruthless Aggression Era Bischoff was doing everything to make sure that Triple H was Champion but now 10 years later these 2 are at it for power but Triple H assuring Rollins that even though he is still in a suit he is still The Game still The Cerebral Assassin still The King of Kings the bad ass the ass kicker, I can see Triple H mixing it up with Rollins eventually
- The Wolves the security team of Rollins, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards even though they beat DX last week beating The New Age Outlaws that still doesn't mean that they are worthy of being future WWE Tag Team Champions but The Wolves being booked into another match but this time against CM Punk and AJ Styles, that should make for a great main event
- The Wolves beating CM Punk and the WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, all be it they got a cheap fluke win mainly because their boy Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins got involved here in this match costing Punk and Styles but Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are undefeated all be it under controversial circumstances
- Triple H then booking Seth Rollins in a match, putting him up against Big Show, Triple H with another good booking choice no way Bischoff and Rollins and or Richards & Edwards can be happy about any of this
- Tyson Kidd it is like ever since he has started this WWE Intercontinental Championship Challenge he has been beating former WWE Intercontinental Champions of the past and or the present he has beaten Godfather, Billy Gunn of The New Age Outlaws and now RVD I mean who is next? But if Kidd is trying to get the attention of the WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles then I think he is well on his way to doing that and Kidd could be in line for a WWE Intercontinental Championship match
- AJ Lee the WWE Divas Champion she beats Paige again yet again I mean like how many times has she beaten Paige now? Paige simply just can't beat AJ when it really counts but that was Paige's only shot at perhaps getting a WWE Divas Championship match but AJ decides that she will give her a title match but only under one condition that being that if they mix it up again it will be for the last time, I think that's fair
- Bray Wyatt playing more mind games with the WWE Champion Danielson, I can't say that I'm surprised but then again Bray Wyatt is seemingly all obsessed with becoming WWE Champion but he has Reigns in the main event tonight so you can bet Danielson will be watching this but also so will Cesaro and Heyman because of Reigns
- The Usos on commentary for The New Day's match against The Miz and Mizdow no doubt The Usos will somehow get involved but then again so will whoever is on the outside for The New Day...but seeing The Miz and Mizdow beating The New Day it seems The Usos vs The New Day will probably happen at NOC but also Miz and Mizdow they keep winning, perhaps a WWE Tag Team Championship match could be in their future
- Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match and the winners face the WWE Tag Team Champions Zayn and Crowe of The Purge for the titles no doubt that match happens at NOC but as for the Fatal 4 Way I am going to go with The Usos
- Now there are only 3 men left in the WWE Championship Elimination Chase especially now that Del Rio has been eliminated I figured that it would have been Owens or Cena but now there is only Owens, Cena and Orton with only one of them becoming the next #1 Contender for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell
- Ambrose vs Rusev set for NOC with the WWE United States Championship being on the line, USA vs Russia, Ambrose has a whole nation on his shoulders but also being the WWE United States Champion could you imagine if he were to lose the title in the USA on American soil?
- Rhodes not only beating Neville but adding more insult to injury by taking out Neville post match I mean this just further solidifies Cody's heel run and I am loving every second of it because it makes me wonder just who he will face next? Or who he will feud with next?
- Rollins and Big Show's match not getting started because of Rollins ****ing out of it, classic heel move because Rollins knows that Big Show would KO Punch him so he gets The Wolves to do his dirty work along with Rollins getting in it, 3 on 1 can't say that I'm surprised but seeing Punk and Styles come to Show's rescue but to no avail, I can almost guarantee that we will somehow get a 6-man Tag Team Match on Smackdown on Thursday
- And in the main event Bray Wyatt beating Roman Reigns well Wyatt owes a big assist to Cesaro and Heyman because if it wasn't for them getting involved but even so seeing the WWE Champion Danielson trying to come to Reigns' aid only for Harper and Rowan to get involved and seeing both Reigns and Danielson laying to end RAW definitely sets up matches for Smackdown this Thursday that's for sure

I did read SummerSlam it was a great card packed top to bottom. I liked the fact Bryan came out with the victory. I've mentioned this a lot but I feel like you missed a trick not utilising the Cesaro title reign obviously you have a direction and your sticking to it.
Since SummerSlam I have skimmed over your shows before reading fully your last Smack Down and Raw. The products hot at the minute hence the spotlight vote everything seem to be coming together at the same time.
Expect Wyatt to take the title at Night of Champions but if he doesn't Owens will not too long after. You have some strong heels at the minute with Rollins, Owens, Wyatt, Lesnar.
Despite wanting you to go in one direction I do have to admit that I am still probably enjoying this diary more than I ever have in the past. Top work - also your graphics have been on point lately even the Raw/Smack Down graphics but did prefer them when the text was left off them.

WWE NETWORK PRESENTS: INTERNATIONAL INVASION FROM TOKYO, JAPAN
History will be made live on the WWE Network on the morning of Saturday, October 4th as for the first time ever, WWE will produce a show live from Tokyo, Japan! In an event expected to be the first of many "International Invasion"s in the coming year, fans from all around the world will be treated to an extravaganza from the legendary Ryougoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo.
Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will make the trip as a special guest to the beloved place where one could argue "Hulkamania" was truly born, where he'll be honored by Japanese legend, Tatsumi Fujinami, for his contributions to Japan pro-wrestling.
In what will be a WWE first, whether they are champions at the time or not, an Intercontinental Champion battle will be taking place as current WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles will go toe-to-toe with former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, whom is set to compete for the championship at New Japan Pro Wrestling's upcoming "Destruction in Kobe". Styles may also not be champion, as he must defend his belt at "WWE Night of Champions". Regardless of the outcomes to their respective matches, Styles and Nakamura will square off.
Also set for the event is a one-time appearance for legend Chris Jericho as he will return to Japan to take on Tyson Kidd, whom recently has been facing former legendary Intercontinental Champions and now in Japan, gets the opportunity to face the man that has held one of WWE's most prestigious belts more than anyone else, 'Y2J'. Jericho got his start back in the early 1990s in Japan before becoming the future WWE Hall of Famer that he is today.
Current WWE Champion Bryan Danielson, yet another Japan alumni, will also be there in non-title action (if he is still champion at the time) against a hand-picked opponent. He is expected to make that choice within the coming weeks leading up to the event. Also in the weeks leading up, more will be announced as there is an expectation of at least five matches to take place. WWE Network presents International Invasion in Tokyo, Japan live on October 4, 2014 at 5:30 A.M. EST.

- Love this WWE International Invasion tour in a sense with WWE going to other countries to host either RAW or Smackdown considering the foreign talent we have on the roster and since we will be in Tokyo in October then it begs the question of if we will see PPVs hosted in other countries too?
- Like SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania or Survivor Series being hosted in other countries like England like at Wembley Stadium perhaps or Mexico?
- Perhaps the WWE will go to Mexico next or France or Italy or Scotland or Ireland or China or even India
- But I can expect superstars like Styles, Punk, Danielson, Rollins, Ambrose to be on the card considering they all made their names in Japan but Jericho, Hogan in attendance I wonder if Lesnar will be in Tokyo? Or if the rest of the superstars like Cena, Reigns, Triple H, etc. will all be there too?
