I love abyss, but the guy is stale and currently acts like an overgrown child... would you like to see him turn heel... possibly join Raven and Stevie?

He actually looked threatening when you couldn't see his mouth. Now he just looks stupid and acts like a goof. |

Heel Abyss wouldn't be as affective now, similar scenario to Kane.

My number one hate with Abyss now is when he does that intellectually- disabled clapping thing, like he's Eugene or something. I used to like Abyss's character, now I couldnt care any less. Plus they need James Mitchell so Abyss stops talking as much |

They're trying to put Abyss over as mentally challenged, so that clapping thing works for the purpose, I don't like it either tbh, but I think it's part of his new character.

I don't know if it would work. I just don't see how they can get him back to being a monster after making him act like a 3 year old.

I agree with Epic Z. I just don't see how they can do that. I'd love to see him heel though w/ James Mitchell.

Well, my idea is that Raven and Stevie (and Daffney) keep trying to beat him, but they can't with Mick Foley at Abyss's side, so they get someone who has a hold over Abyss... cue the return of James Mitchell, mind games ensue, Abyss is back as a monster and i guess they could start a new sort of stable... we all know how good Raven is with a stable, and it would mean that Raven can stay long term but only have a light schedule |

Abyss definitely needs to turn heel. He needs to recapture that indestructable monster aura he had going for him before the stupid face turn that has done nothing for him but turn him into a bumbling idiot. I don't know if they thought the turn would do the same thing for him that the face turn for Mick Foley did for Mankind but it hasn't worked. Plus, with the top faces being AJ Styles and Kurt Angle, there's definitely more potential to have great matches than there are with some of the heels in TNA. At the very least, I think Lashley and Abyss could have an intriguing, hard-hitting brawl.

I just wish he would've gotten rid of that flannel during his feud with Foley, that made NO sense what so ever, having him wear that while battling the guy who gave it to him. That's what bugged me the most about Abyss lately. Other than that, good guy or bad, I could careless.

His feud with Sting, and the awful title reign that came out of it all, was one of the worst things they could have ever done for his character. All the progress he had made up to that point was just put to a halt and he's sort of slowly gone backwards in credibility. I think he can be turned around into something special again, but thus far they've really let him go to waste.
