Can we go back to every promo where Dixie and every other big TNA name says the X-Division is what TNA was built on and it highlights the athleticism and quickness of the wrestlers in that division?  this |

I'm pretty sure Bashir signed a contract about a month ago that extended his contract into 2011. That's what I was going to say. It was reported he signed a new contract a few months ago. My guess is World Elite 'fixes' this problem, but who knows. |

The departure of Sheik Abdul Bashir (Shawn Daivari) at tonight's Final Resolution PPV was legitimate. Daivari was saying his goodbyes to the TNA crew earlier today.
I heard from one current WWE talent earlier today that Daivari recently requested his release, but have not 100% confirmed that.
Bashir had been with TNA since 2008 and had signed a contract renewal several months back but had not been in the main storyline mix for some time.
