Are they really sold out or is it just cuz they are not taking preorders as of yet? Its hard to believe that they are sold out of figures we have not even seen yet.

They are not taking pre-orders because it's illegal. The contract with WWE and Jakks doesn't end until January 1,2010.

It says on the site they will be available for order on January 1 so of course they are not sold out yet.

thanks for being the reason I had to spend a ton of time photoshopping the yellow banner and putting it at the top of each Mattel item!

would it be possible for wrestling figs too get the link too the page we can buy them 24 hours before non site members? Like normal people can't buy them until the second. Maybe a limit of 2 of each item per order? So no stores or scalpers can buy them all out?

I actually posted a thread like this a while back with the same concerns. The big issue now is how many will actually order on 1/1/2010.

Look later today, guys, I'll make a sticky about an e-mail list to be notified once they become available for sale. Midnight at 12/31, they will be for sale. By law, we cannot take pre-orders, nor can anybody anywhere sell these items before then, and that's why they're listed the way they are. |
