I was just on some australian website and saw this image which is a sneak peak of prizes in a competition thing coming up. A figure included caught my eye which looks like a Mattel Cena but one we havent seen as its got his darker black shorts with the chain gang logo. Thought it might be something interesting to pass on. Odd that this site would get images of these earlier than everyone else cause it looks too much like Mattel Cena to be anything but that. *enlarge*

Nah surely not, it must be an upcoming Cena. Its an older outfit so it seems likely it would be in some kind of heritage series or one featuring past outfits. Perhaps its an entrance great without the chain, jersey and hat featured.

Maybe its for the next wrestlemania heritage series seeing as he wore that at WM 22 and the protos we've seen for the WM heritage series 1 was for WM21.

Very nice find! That's a cool looking Cena. I think we'll get that Cena figure in the future as Cena's someone that sells so they'll make lots of him in as many different ways as possible.

Looks like an elite figure to me paste the picture in paint and you could see the extra joints in the hips.

Not to sound like a dick or anything, but Cena had all black shoes at WM22. Those are his partly blue pumps like in DA3. I think he might have worn those at RR 2006, maybe a RR Heritage series? That would be awesome!
Maybe it was NYR 2006, but I doubt they would make any sort of set on NYR...

We'll just have to wait and see to know for sure. Looks like an elite figure to me paste the picture in paint and you could see the extra joints in the hips. Nope its definitely the basic style articulation, it doesnt even have the ribs articulation Elites have. Plus if you look in this enlarged photo, its just the normal T crotch piece.

Looks to me like it has extra hip articulation. (You can see the cut by his left thumb) So it might be an Elite figure or early proto. Look at the hips you can see it has the DCUC T-crotch with outward swinning hips. like this - But I think it's an early proto because the pins for the hip hinges are visable, but Mattel hides them on the final products of the DCUC/MotU figures.

So the Heritage Line is basically a Classic Line devoted to mainly current stars? The Classic line later on will feature strictly past superstars I am guessing.
I want a WM23 Cena and a WMXX Cena, that would rule!
