Well, we are now 2 days away from this LIVE Finale on Spike in the U.S. and ESPN in the UK. The final card has been confirmed by the UFC.

Mark Bocek vs. Joe Brammer
John Howard vs. Dennis Hallman
Brian Stann vs. Rodney Wallace
Jon Madsen vs. Justin Wren
Darrill Schoonover vs. James McSweeney- I would love if Schoonover won. I like the guy. Seems like a cool guy. Mcsweeney is a cocky b****. I really can't stand the guy. He acts far too cocky for his abilities. I was delighted when Nelson put his belly on Mcsweeneys face. I see McSweeney winning this one though. The guy does have some decent kickboxing.
Marcus Jones vs. Matt Mitrione- Hard fight to call. Super hard fight to call. Mitrione has some very solid punches...if he is able to catch one of those big haymakers on the darkness' chin then I'm guessing it'll be lights out. But I'm hoping Marcus is able to take Mitrione down and submit him or get the tko stoppage.
Frank Edgar vs. Matt Veach- Let me say that I think Frankie Edgar is an amazing fighter but he should go down to 145. Almost all of his fights go to decision. I think at 145 he would be able to put a lot more people away. I see him getting the UD in this one.
Kimbo Slice vs. Houston Alexander- Hope I am wrong. But I just don't see Kimbo winning. I don't know. I want Kimbo to win but I don't want Houston to lose again...either way I think I'm going to be disappointed.
Matt Hamill vs. Jon Jones- BONES JONES. He is the future. The guy has some sick striking I see him actually stopping Hamill. Matt Hamill really kind of makes me irritated with how he strikes..he'll leave his hands way low until he is inside the pocket...and someone as explosive and unorthodox as Jones will take advantage of that. I can't wait to see this one.
Roy Nelson vs. Brendan Schaub- Brendan is kind of a dick too, along with McSweeney. But I actually think he is talented and has some pretty good standup. He impressed me in the fight against Marcus. Hopefully he can avoid Roys belly...that'll basically be the key to winning this fight.

man im more interested in the kimbo and marcus fights than the actual finale roy nelson and brendan just seem so boring to me Nailed my opinion 100% bro. Nelson really let me down with his performances in TUF. That said, I'm looking forward to Matt/Bones the most. I really like both fighters, and I think this could be a very explosive match-up. |

Nelson didn't really disapoint me, he actually fought smart. except for the second fight. I know he can be better, so I'm keeping my hopes up on him. But I'm really looking forward to Jones Hamill. I got Hamill winning it but that fight could go either way.

Here's a question. If Roy "Big Country" Nelson & Brendan Schaub have an all-out war of "Bonnar/Griffin" proportions and both guys are worthy of the 6-figure contract, do you think Dana White will offer it to them or just to Schaub because of his dislike of Nelson??
I'd like to think he'd hire them both, but after watching this season's TUF, I really don't know because Dana doesn't speak too kindly of "Big Country". Saying numerous times he wasn't impressive and put on boring fights.
It'll be interesting, that's for sure. I'm hoping Nelson takes it.
Plus, Kimbo is going down tonight. You watch and see. Houston will come out swinging and drop Kimbo. There's no way this fight will see the 2nd round. I think it'll be over before the 2nd minute, let alone the 2nd round. Someone is going to sleep in that fight for sure and I've got my money on Houston putting Kimbo to sleep.
It should be a great night of fights and I'm really looking forward to it.

I think in Dana White's eyes, Roy Nelson is the new Tim Sylvia. He's a fighter that Dana White simply doesn't like and would love to just trash, but until he starts losing, he has to be somewhat diplomatic.
Once Nelson loses, I'm sure Dana will bury his ass in every interview.

I love the fact that Kimbo lost in the first round, but is on the poster.
