;D Jeff Jarrett is said to be very high on Chris "Wildcat" Harris, which explains the recent push he has been receiving. This comes to a surprise to a few people as the two have had their differences in the past.
TNA superstar Christian Cage will be starring in an upcoming movie titled Medium Raw, which is currently filming and is set to release sometime in 2008. Christian's is cast as Pete in the movie. Cage will also be in Dark Rising, a comedy/horror which will be released sometime this year. Cage stars as Ricky, the best friend of the main character. In other Christian news, the movie Shoot 'Em Up which stars Chris Jericho, Cage, Clive Owens, Paul Giamatti and others releases on DVD on 9/7.
According to some sources WrestleView.com has spoken with, there are said to be plans in the works for a secondary TNA title belt along with a Women's title belt with the assumption being that the company will have two hours for Impact starting this fall.
Konnan and TNA are reportedly going to court very soon in regards to the money that Konnan owes TNA. For those who remember, TNA loaned Konnan money for his recent health expenses. Konnan recently quit the company after the Slammiversary PPV.
Sting vs. Kurt Angle II is being talked about and could happen before the end of the year. The last time we saw the match, billed as a Dream Match, it ended in a DQ on the 4/26 episode of iMPACT.

Still wouldn't mind seeing Harris with the belt. That Dark Rising movie looks horrible, idk, just have to wait and see. According to some sources WrestleView.com has spoken with, there are said to be plans in the works for a secondary TNA title belt along with a Women's title belt with the assumption being that the company will have two hours for Impact starting this fall. Finally, 2 hrs, and a new mid card belt. This could be TNA's big moment to shine. Konnan and TNA are reportedly going to court very soon in regards to the money that Konnan owes TNA. For those who remember, TNA loaned Konnan money for his recent health expenses. Konnan recently quit the company after the Slammiversary PPV. this could be interesting, wonder who's gonna win. Sting vs. Kurt Angle II is being talked about and could happen before the end of the year. The last time we saw the match, billed as a Dream Match, it ended in a DQ on the 4/26 episode of iMPACT. Could easily see this on the BFG card.

Also, just thought I'd throw this out there...
I was at a Legends of Wrestling event last night, and had the opportunity to speak to Buff Bagwell for a few minutes. He told me that he will most likely be coming into TNA once they get 2 hours. I really think he could be a very solid addition to the TNA roster, once they do get their second hour..

Never believe a word that comes out of that man's mouth. Ever. If Buff Bagwell is to be believed, he's been "coming to TNA" for the past couple of years.

Chris Harris and Jeff Jarrett were a part of my favorite TNA program in 2004. They pulled it off so well. I'm glad that he will be getting a push.
That movie looked awful. No way I'm watching it. "Shoot 'Em Up" looked great though.
New titles? Eh, only means the X-Division title will be reduced to nothing in comparison. Who would compete for TNA's version of the IC Title? Eric Young, Lance Hoyt, James Storm, and Bobby Roode?
Leave Konnan alone. After the whole kidney-transplant and TNA not paying for it, he doesn't deserve a lawsuit.
Sting vs Kurt Angle? Non-title and I'm okay with it.

thanks for the news. Harris is one of my favs and hope he gets singles gold. Speaking of which...a secondary title to go along with the womens belt is amust have for TNA...I can see guys like roode, young, hoyt, tomko all fighting over it. Lets hope they continue to be different and put the TV titlle on. Hell put the Fox or Spike logo on the side plate if you want. this move sounds more like a move to Fox as erlier reported more programming from them. cant see TNA adding two more belts for just another hour but for another hour and more programming? yea.

Haha, these reporters and their 'news.'
We've all talked about another belt for years, as well as Sting-Angle 2. Such 'news.'

Having another title will suck, the X title will then be like WWE's Cruiserweight.

Having another title will suck, the X title will then be like WWE's Cruiserweight. Unless the X-division title becomes like the IC Championship and they bring in a midcard title like a Television or European belt. Anyway, am I the only one who is bored watching Chris Harris? He's nothing outstanding in the ring, and lacks mic skills and charisma. His gimmick is the generic babyface and the "Wildcat" moniker reeks of midcard status. I think James Storm is more fit for a push, tbh.

I disagree 100%, there's a surprise , but I do think Storm should get a push too. they both have uniqueness, but I think Harris has more the look, attractiveness as far as overall ring work, mic skills connecting to the crowd, to be world championship material than storm.

I think if they made James Storm into a legitimate brawler that gets drunk and kicks ass... much like Pre-JBL Bradshaw... he could get over as a heel in the main event. As for Chris Harris... the guy can work a good match but just isn't championship material as is. Ya can't slap a white trench-coat w/ flames on a generic wrestler and assume he's ready for the main event... not when that main event consists of advanced wrestlers like Angle, Joe, Cage, and Abyss.

I gotta agree with Ripper on this one. Harris is a good talent, should always be very solid in the mid card with some occasional higher level feuds...but James Storm has that something extra that could really make him a main event talent. I've always favored him out of AMW, so it's great to see the progression they're doing with his character right now, it's top notch..

More News..
- Dustin Rhodes is scheduled to do a gimmick called Platinum (you know, instead of Goldust).
- Damaja (Dan Basham) missed the 7/2 Impact taping as he never got a plane ticket to fly to Orlando, but TNA apparently still had an angle for him. He never called anyone including Doug Basham, and at this point, may already been done with the company.
