Thanks for all the pics and info mate. Trips is definitely one of the mattel figs i want. Ive waited so long to see a slicked back hair triple h scan and finally we got one. The figure looks fantastic with correctly sized logos, even elbow pad logos. Definitely liking that HHH. You pointed out the flaws, hope they get fixed because apart from the hair, this figure is simply awesome.

There's about 8 more pics I posted over there that aren't in this thread. I added a bunch of scale and other pics over at POA -www.pointsofarticulation.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6044

The action shots really show how cool this figure looks. The larger and complete logos do so much for this figure, more than jakks ever did. Have you thought about repainting the hair colour? You could even fix the hair by sculpting to connect the hairpiece and forehead better. Although i guess these would have to wait til you get another trips to do this. Thanks again for the shots, the trips is one of my favourites.

I thought about painting the hair with Apple Barrel's "Carmel candy" It's the color I used on my Havoc Unleashed Triple H pictured below...But I decided to wait until after Jan 1st when I have another. Hopefully with a better placed hair piece.

Of course is hair is at times a little darker particularly when he wets it but that colour should work fantastic, it looks spot on in pics, hopefully its the same in person. The hair is the only problem, i dont think you actually got one with bad placement, each seem 'too separate' from the head. They need to blend more. Perhaps mattel could start sculpting hair onto the scan rather than attaching separate pieces. Im now actually curious to see how a repainted hair piece and some sculpting could look.

Yes the hair is the only problem I see with the figure. And I don't mind the color as much as I do the placement. Like I said I'm hoping it's isolated.
