B&R 12 spoilers: I loved Batman and Robin 12, I liked the whole thing with Slade, I really loved the whole scene with Talia and Damian and Talia saying that Damian is now an enemy of the Al Ghul's, the whole thing with that baby version of Damian was super weird. I kinda wish there was more stuff with Bruce and the mansion but for what was in this issue it was pretty interesting. AND HOLY ING crap WITH JOKER BEING SEXTON MY MIND WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN. I luv u grant morrison.

I actually called the Joker being Oberon Sexton. The thing that made me think this was because in an interview Grant Morrison said he'd liked to see Quitley's take on the Joker, and since the series is almost over, I figured this would be the big payoff. Very good issue though. I cannot wait for The Return of Bruce Wayne too.

I liked the whole thing with Slade, One of the best parts is Dick hitting Slade in the face with the IV pole for Bludhaven.

Since this is kind of a B&R/Return of Bruce thread, this is the cover for B&R 13. Pretty hot tbh.

Issue 1 of Return of Bruce was incredibly badass, and shocking at the end. I can't wait to see that idea develop.

yea, i was really skeptical of this entire concept of bringing bruce through time but, although it still is a bit stretched, it's being incredibly well done. the cover is really intense too!

Do you hae to have read any of the Morrison's other Batman stories to understand "Return of Bruce Wayne" or "do you think it will make a good stand alone series?
I tried to ask this guy at a shop and he seemed more confused than me.

it'd be good to read batman r.i.p, but other than that you should be fine.

Just read 1-12 again in 1 sitting. Even better when it's like 1 story.

*Spoliers*
Finished TROBW and it was pretty great, can someone clear this up for me? Batman seemed to travel back in a ship but I didn't think he was in one when he killed Darkseid and I don't get where he got Superman's cape either so that was kinda confusing. But there were some really awesome things in this issue like seeing a guy called "Joker" and the whole bat costume Bruce made when he fought all of those guys. I can't wait to see what is happening with whats seems to be Superman and why it doesn't look like he wants Bruce to come back. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next issue.

yea, i was really skeptical of this entire concept of bringing bruce through time but, although it still is a bit stretched, it's being incredibly well done. the cover is really intense too! he's not really traveling through time. he's just living menial lives over and over and over and over until he can break through. some of the lives can take place in the present, some in the future, some in the past. he's trapped until he can get the right amount of willpower to break through. this was all explained in Morrison's Mr. Miracle mini series from a few years back after Shilo Norman had gotten hit with the Omega Sanction and the same thing happened to him.
