I love that Damian actually looks 10. A lot of artists seem to forget he's a child.

Just read 14. Definitely my favorite issue so far. But then again every issue is a little better than the last. Thats what I love about the series. Was a little worried when I saw Hurt shoot the pumpkin because I thought he shot Professor Pyg, who is my favorite character of the series.

Joker is written beyond perfectly in 14.

that cover is pretty epic.
and yea, joker is written AND drawn amazingly in the issue. the last page where it shows joker laughing from an above angle and then him smiling at damian is my favourite drawing depicting the joker in a long, long time.

Batman and Robin 18 cover, not too sure if I like it too much just because of how much of that white glow is on the cover.

So Batman Beyond is going to turn into a full on series starting in January with the same creative team.

Can't wait to pick up the latest B&R. My comic shop is sadly anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour away so I can't go every week. Breaks my heart.
I HAVE A QUESTION THOUGH!
Okay, so with Grant Morrison going onto Batman Inc., do you think Batman and Robin will still be worth checking out? I'm trying to limit myself with the monthly titles I collect but I'm really drawn into the whole Dick/Damian relationship.
On top of that, I kind of want to check out Finch's new Batman title, but I'm on the fence about that one too.

I'd say pick up the first issue Peter Tomasi does and see if you still like it. I plan on doing this because I enjoyed what I read in the Blackest Night: Batman but I'm not sure if it'll feel the same without Morrison as his plot turns and character development were excellent. As for Batman: The Dark Knight, i'd get the the first two issues before you make your decision on it. I didn't heavily enjoy Red Robin at first, but from the third issue and on, it quickly became my second favorite title ( B&R being the first).

Just picked up 16. Loved the story, but I wish they would've had Frazer Irving do the art for the whole issue. The issue really did wrap things up in a good way. I'm pretty interested to see if Batman and Robin can still be as good without Morrison, but I have confidence in Tomasi. Still wish that Return 6 came out before 16.

Tomasi won't be doing the first three issues of post-Morrison B&R now. Paul Cornell is doing it now. I'm happy about that, though I don't know if I will even bother with it either way.
Anyway, yeah, 16. We finally know what Hurt is... and his fate was delivered by exactly who I wanted it to be. There are things I disliked about the issue, but overall it was a solid end to the four year saga of the Knight, Death, and the Devil.
