- "....In our Basic Figure world, including Singles and Two Packs, we will do over 110 figures....new wave of Basic Figures Singles every month and Two packs every other month. ...Elite Collection fans can expect a new wave every other month - for a total of 36 figures." - "...PPV specific waves every other month in our Basic Series...our goal is to have PPV accurate decos on the shelves as soon as possible...we've redesigned out figure production process to get this done." - "...WWE team to create a process to deliver the PPV series on shelf in 90 days or less. ...we will green light the deco the following day(of the PPV), less than 24 hours after the deco appeared. That's pretty fast for toy design."

R-Truth looks like an Ogre next to Batista.

- "...Our initial focus is onthe Superstars roster. Over time, it's really important for us to capture the entire (WWE) experience, including referees, general managers, announcers, etc. We'll get there eventually."
- 1-1,000 belts - "...The unique part of the program is that it will run all year long. As new Superstars come into the mix, they will have the numbered belts, as well...We do have some other more exciting add-ins planned."

Are you sure you didn't mean Michael Cole tool? If Mattel can really do a 90 day PPV deco turn around, they rule.

According to the article they are also using Gentle Giant studios for head scans...And have 9 bodies with various limbs for tharious looks & scales. (Not inclduing the unique bodies for guys who are too tall or too short such as Rey, Henry & Show)

Thanks for the pic. Looks like a great figure. I'll hold out for it rather than getting the series 1 version.

Ya know I never liked Jakks DA because I simply always thought RA was better looking.
I thought I'd have the same opinion with Mattel's Basic and Elite Series, because they were basically just Mattel's version's of Jakks RA/DA. But, after hearing that the figures will all be the same height and after seeing more and more pictures of Elite; I just may collect both Basic and Elite which is something I thought I'd never do.
