I noticed something. Hogan and Russo were in wcw about the same time as its horrible booking. They both had high creative control. Russo has been in charge of tna for quite awhile yet this weeks taping was way more like wcws. Yet whats different Hogan is high up in creative. Is it possible Russo may be getting a lot of the blame for wcw when its also a lot of Hogans booking also. Do you think its just a coincedince for tonights booking or do you think Hogan may have been the one too make such a weird booked night.

It was booked like that on person. Nash was in charage of the show (kayfabe wise) so they booked it like that for that sole reason. Hogan's not booking (yet).

i thought the booking was fine. crazy stuff like this from time to time is what makes it entertainment. It's when it;s done every week that kills it. that's what was happening in WCW. same thing with gimmick matches. they are great once in awhile, but every other week it loses it;s punch. The problem with WCW was too many hands in the pot.

This weeks iMPACT! was by far the worst one they've ever done. Get rid of Russo. The only good things were Steiner's promo, the mud wrestling match, and well.. thats about it. More time was spent promoting a drunk ODB/Tara match than promoting the main event.
Does TNA think we care about seeing Mick Foley driving around going into a diner and such? Hell no. Are we supposed to believe they don't know how to edit footage that he takes? Even if its kayfabe, and we are supposed to think "oh we [TNA truck] just got this footage we can't edit it!".. is bull. You can create a replay for something that just happened in a matter of seconds.
The show was perfectly described from the start: a car wreck that you can't look away from... I try to be positive for TNA, but that turd was utter garbage. If that is what I have to look forward to in the coming weeks, I'm not watching.

Fire Russo, for booking a show the way it should've been booked? That makes no sense. It was booked like that for the fact Nash was "in charge" of the show. It was suppose to be a "car crash"..which they basically said. Also, I do care about Foley going into the diner and such looking for Jeff. It adds a sense of realism to it where Foley just doesn't "happen to know" where Jeff is. Had Foley not went to the TNA offices and the dinner.. then how would've he found Jeff by accident? It worked perfectly because it set up Mick finding Jeff.

Hogan will have the book or at least some measure of creative control in TNA, guarenteed.
