so he apparently wants team russo gone, no six sided ring and a federation name change....at least Hogan looks to be off to a really good start.

Now this is an idea I can get behind.
Never been a fan of the six-sided ring, since it's just "being different for being different's sake." Absolutely pointless, and it looks terrible.

If Hogan wants to change anything start with those damn guardrails that make tna look like they are sitting in a gymnasium, even tho the studio is about that big. ANd second, pull some damn people off the street to replace the toothlees beauties that cameras constantly pan to every week. Yeesh!

A ring having more sides, but not pulling it off like you do, doesn't set them apart. TNA used it as a gimmick to be different but over time it hasn't done anything to really help them. |

its NOT different or unique. it does NOT set them apart. hello ... lucha feds use it. how is it unique?

I think Hogan is just putting all sorts of comments out there to make "everyone" talk about TNA...he's just trying to hype up the product ahead of 04th January 2010 and cause some "controversy" by proposing such changes...
Hogan wants to get rid of Russo...Hogan wants to get rid of 6-sided ring...Hogan wants to bring in x y and z...it's all part of an attempt to get people looking at the TNA product.

Too bad TNA stole the 6-sided ring idea from MLW....
Shortly before MLW went ouf of business, they announced that they would be changing their ring to a 6-sided, but then MLW went under before they could go through with that, and which promotion converted to a 6-sided ring a few months later? That's right... TNA!
Of course MLW got the idea from AAA in the first place, I just find it kind of ironic how TNA blatently stole the idea from MLW, both promotions were on Sunshine Network at the time, so there's no way TNA didn't get the idea from them.

i would not mind if they keep it. is catch 22 in a sense,i think joe public would prefer a normal ring,and thats who tna needs to attract to gain sucess.
