- The Four hour New Years eve show will feature a combination of highlights from 2009 and a Knockouts tournament featuring both TNA contracted women and women from other promotions.
- Kevin Nash does not like Taz and is trying to get Mark Madden as his replacement. When Taz replaced West as announcer Nash through a fit backstage. No one really knows why Nash is not a fan of Taz.
- The wrestlers are being told to cut down on high spots and start using holds in order to tell stories in their matches.

It would be amazing if TNA got Daizee Haze and Sara Del Rey for the Knockout Show.

I can tell you why Nash doesnt like Taz.....HE SUCKS! Guy is freaking awful on color. He is like a bad comedian with a bad New York accent. Cut down on high spots and use holds? TNA continues down the road of WWE-lite. This probably has something to do with Hogan coming in. Cant have the young guys outshining Hogan.

Good call with the holds. One thing that has always bothered me about TNA is it is very rare when they try to do a full fledged mat-classic as opposed to relying on flippy-doos.

ughh I don't mind Taz, he is pretty good, I like high spots but I guess I wouldn't be seeing too much of them lately, and as for the knockouts the tourney sounds really cool

Great so they are doing a big tournament with current KO's and some not signed yet. That is great I hope Jazz appears and ratatats some bitches ass! The winner of the tournament should obviously get a reward, I mean it seems like it will be a pretty big tournament so the winner deserves something good.

Major changes all round then, what's next, the name 'TNA'?
It will well and truly become WWE-lite, and a distant second.

I personally like Taz alot more than Don West. I always liked Tony Shiavonne (or how ever you spell his last name) too.

If you think Taz sucks and is a bad comedian, wait until you hear Mark Madden! He was really horrible back in WCW. Really obnoxious. I'd rather listen to Cole and Lawler than the bloated Mark Madden.

And true to form, TNA's logic is to fix a negative with a negative.

Story-telling sells PPVs and tickets imo. It's not going to make the quality of matches go down, if anything it'll make them better because it won't look like a video game where it's spot, spot, spot, spot, spot, spot, finisher.

I like what they wanna do,, but i hope they dont do away with every spot. TNA used to be good at telling the story in the ring and having spots. However to fully execute that you better have storylines drawing the fans in not some random Hamada vs Eric young match. What the hell kinda story are you gonna tell about that? Again, consistency is the key for tna

There's alot of great matches out there that didn't need flips and twists.

Mark Madden? No thank you. I've always kind of liked Taz, anyway.

Mark Madden himself has stated in his Column on WrestleZone that he's not been contacted, nor does he want to go to TNA. If you've heard some of his rants on Radio about TNA, you'd wonder why TNA would want him.
