What's up guys.
If you were Dixie Carter, Hogan, or whomever - what kind of innovative or just great marketing ideas would you come up with right now, to help advertise and promote the big January 4th live Impact against Raw?
If WWE does get Bret Hart or the Rock to host the Jan 4th show, it will only make it a lot harder (already going to be hard as it is) for Impact to draw a strong, substantial rating.
So again, with that in mind - how would you promote the event, as of now?
Happy Holidays,
Lotto

I'd do the one thing I've been pissed off about that they really never do.
Advertise on channels outside of Spike TV.

If Hart is really hosting the 1/4 Raw, then TNA is ed... not like they had a chance anyway (although I'd really like to see TNA pull through and get somewhat of a decent rating.)

But, funny you say that - because I did see Hulk cut a commercial promo during ECW last night on Syfy for the 1/4 Impact event. It was pretty cool. You know what would be pretty cool, is if TNA could run an ad during this Saturday's Tribute to the troops show on NBC. That, or as expensive as it is - buy a spot during the Superbowl in Feb. to help get TNA more noticed.

I know - it's huge! But, it's taking a chance, and a chance that could very well pay off, big time. With the Superbowl, you know - mostly EVERYBODY is watching, and a lot of people are watching just for the commercials. So, like I said - it could pay off big time!

One commercial every other break on Spike.
At least two commercials during every WWE Show, except maybe Superstars.
Do the "carwash" on Channels like ESPN and Fox News. Carwash means to appear on most of the Shows that the Channel has, including Radio. Use Hogan, Bischoff and AJ Styles.
Take out ads in Newspapers and Magazines.
During the ads, promote: Hogan, Styles, Nash, Angle, RVD, Flair (if you get the last two) and the "Future of the business including other well-know names!"

No matter what Raw will still have a better rating. Even if Raw's show is crap and TNA's show is 5 star. WWE is the bigger name and will get it's regular viewers.
