I went into a forbidden planet store in the UK and they had some Mattel figures on display in a glass case the basic 2 packs and rey mysterio (yellow and blue) and John Cena (green shorts). It did however say not for sale until January 2010 :-(

I dont recall even seeing those figures yet from Mattel let alone being in a store, how odd.

I dont recall even seeing those figures yet from Mattel let alone being in a store, how odd. Cena and Rey where flex force. Reys tattoos looked great in person alot better than anything ive seen from Jakks.  |

I meant they had the 2 packs and the flex force Cena and Rey I just couldnt remember what series the Rey and Cena where from as they had them loose not in the boxes.

They had all of them loose. With a note next to them saying "samples only. available Jan 2010". Its a comic book/collectables type shop.

Liverpool, didnt see any prices Ill ask next time im in. I went there today but only saw the two Flex Force figures, didn't see any of the two-packs. Were they in the same glass cabinet? I notice the note in the cabinet says " prototypes not for sale." I was hoping that they already had the figures in stock ready to sell come Jan 1st, but maybe the ones they have up are just samples they got sent. Either way, I thought the Flex Force Rey looked great. I'm considering getting it. I probably won't bother with the other FlexForce, but it's a very different attire colour from his Elite figure and it looks incredible in person. So he's probably below all the Elites, Basics and Two-Packs on my priority list, but above all the other FFs. Of course, I'm broke, so I won't really be able to afford any of the Mattel range anyway! |
