Hi guys, I'm sort of new and sort of old to the forums.
Ya see I've been visiting these forums for many years now, but I always prevented myself from the joining. Well lets just say that today was the day that I finally gave in.
I've been a wrestling fan since late '99 which is also around the time period when I first bought my very first WWF action figure, The Rock's "WWF Maximum Sweat".
After seeing today on the Mattel Boards that some of you guys are finding the Mattel figures early; I decided to jump into action and go to the best Toys R Us near me.
Well of course being that it is the Christmas season, the TRU that I went to was jam packed. I really didn't think I would find anything. When I finally made my way to the WWE isle, of course there were no Mattel figures. All that was left were shelf warmers and AD39.
But then, I noticed a girl was holding a Mattel WWE spring ring. I thought she had the last one, but then I found about 6 more rings and I picked myself up a Raw and SmackDown one.
When I got home I assembled the rings and man are they cool! lol
I usually don't get spring rings because Jakk's Spring Rings were always made poorly. But, I can honestly say that Mattel's Spring rings are really, really well made. I guess I'll have to wait for Mattel figures to hit stores on New Year's Day, but for now at least I got the rings.
Anyway, here are the two Mattel rings I bought and I put some Jakks figures in them to show you guys how a Jakks figure looks in a Mattel ring.
I look forward to getting to know all of you, and one last thing I gotta say is.....Mattel, bring it!
