I found out that ToysRus was opening at 6am today and with all the people saying they found Mattel WWE series 1 on the east coast, I was dying to see if they got them in. My only problem was that I had to work all day and had little time to get out there and ToysRus has been strict on not holding figures lately. So I called up and asked if they had gotten Series 1 on a long shot and the guy was pretty nice and said he would go check (unlike most who just say nope sorry without even checking). He comes back 5 minutes later and says, "hey man I have all of them!"....I was like what!!!!
So he named me each of the 6 in the set and then I didn't want to be a pain but I just had to ask if any had the 1 of 1000 belt by chance with them and he went back to check. Sure enough he comes back to the phone and says," Your gonna love me!"....I just said no way in disbelief and he tells me that he has a 1 of 1000 big show in his hand. He told me even though he can't hold them at the service desk because they get in trouble for it, he would hide them for me behind the counter over in the Bicycle area that is never used and to ask for Rob when I came in. Sure enough I rushed there and he walks up with a smile and said, " Don't get me fired for this lol." I gave him $5 as a gesture for being so helpful because I knew if he didn't hide them then they would have been gone and when I got there they only had 1 Evan Bourne left on the shelf.
