Just spoke to the manager at my TRU in Northeast Ohio (where I got all of series 1,plus a 1/1000 Big Show..which is going up on Ebay! lol), and was told by the manager that there was an email sent out stating that TRU employees were to disregard the street date on the WWE figures.
So keep looking guys!

Isn't it sort of illegal for Mattel to start having the figures sold before they are legally aloud to do so?

What? Unless there is some kind of grace period, that sounds illegal. Perhaps the manager just wanted you off their case so they could sell these illegally still.

I'm sure if it were illegal..........they wouldn't be doing it. And nationwide. And openly. With a mass email to all TRU employees stating that they can disregard the marked date.
Wouldn't you say?

Why would they be legally allowed to start early? Their contract doesn't start until next year. The current guy's contract hasn't ended yet. Seems illegal.

makes sense to me, and if an emal went out that its ok, then a deal was struck somewhere between mattel, jakks, or whoever is involved. surely no one will go to jail over toys...

Betterthanu13, I found them at the Chapel Hill Mall in Akron, but I found an Evan Bourne at the North Canton TRU first. There was only one case at both. I actually had first dibs at Chapel Hill at 6 this morning, so there's no Shows left. I left the rest though.

The TRU that closest to me (about a 10-Minute drive) has such a high tax that one figure could end up costing me almost $15. Not to mention that most of the time, that very same TRU rarely has the WWE isle in-stock and when they do; it seems as if the figures sell out in a matter of a week. I'm just lucky that I have about 5 other TRU's that are in a pretty good travel distance from my house that always seem to have something to buy.

If it was legal, RSC would put them up for sale right now.

yeah my TRU doesn't have them yet I called them friday and today and explained everything I've heard and whatnot and they said they haven't seen them yet but then again my TRU is late with stuff all the time,The best one I know is in Woburn which is the one I used to go to when I was little when I lived in Arlington we went there a few times this year and I had awesome results every time
