I doubt kids are going to notice the difference between Jakks and Mattel. Exactly. And it makes it harder on us to get the figures. Shoppers will grab any WWE figure with the name on the box they're looking for. I suppose this is why when I found the Mattel figures last week they only had an HHH under a box and a Bourne at the top of the shelf.

I doubt kids are going to notice the difference between Jakks and Mattel. I don't think you're giving kids enough credit. And to a few of the other people....use a little common sense..just ONCE here, please... Follow along with me...if it were ILLEGAL.............then MATTEL (the company that would be getting sued by Jakks if it were in fact illegal)...would not give the go ahead (in a printed ad giving 20% off all Mattel WWE toys)...to Toys R' Us.......to put.....them.....out. Obviously. I just bought 7 figures today.

I don't really understand how they are ignoring the 1/1/10 sell date but if they already sold a ton of figs then they might as well keep doing it.

Obviously. I just bought 7 figures today. I don't think Mattel would be getting sued by Jakks, because Mattel has a right to get their figures to the stores before the sale date and they did put "Do not sell until 1/1/10" on the cases. But TRU could get hit with fines. It's the same with movies when stores/rental stores put the movies out before the Tuesday release date. I now my area Captain Video got heavily fined for putting LotR Return of the King out the weekend prior to it's official release. But back to the Mattel & TRU...It looks like Mattel pulled the FlexForce Cena, Breakdown Ring & Child sized belt down from their website. They were listed since Thursday/Friday, but have now vanished.
