It's been happening for a few weeks, I own a Sony Vaio. And randomly the screen will go dark, so i close the lid then open it again and it takes a few seconds to go back to normal. This happens usally like 4 times a day. Anyone that can help?

Are you actively using the computer at the time it goes black? I mean typing or moving the mouse as opposed to reading posts or watching a video?

That's actually really strange since that usually only happens when you're not actively using it.

Yeah same happens to me it either turns blue of red or black.

Does It Shut Down? I had That same problem with the Mac I'm on now. It turns out it was the battery. We bought a new one & it hasn't happened since.
