I'd like to say this news surprises me, but that would be a flat out lie.

Keeping 108 on ppv is a robbery. Should be free on spike... Ots like a UFN card

It's WAYYYYYYYYYYY too late for that now, man. UFC plans these way ahead of time and has contracts to have these events on PPV and cannot change last minute.

I think the card is fine. UFC just spoils everyone with top notch cards time and time again.

this card looks pretty good..I don't think it looks all that terrible. It is missing some big names...sure. But there are a lot of guys on the card who I think are the future of the UFC (Hazelett, Daley, and Dos Santos to name a few).
I hope Daley picks up the win. He has been submitted quite a few times though and Dustin has some of the slickest arm bars I have ever seen. Should be a good fight.
I hope Dos Santos gets the win..if he does he should be next in line for a title shot. I don't know what the UFC is going to do with the Brock situation and with Carwin, Mir, Velasquez, and Nog but if Dos Santos gets the win he should be right in the mix with those guys.

Dana White said at the UFC 108 Pre-Fight Conference that Cantwell may never fight again, but refused to disclose the nature of his medical problems.
Holy. Sh*t.

Yeah, probably more bullsh*t by Dana. Dana has said "Lesnar may never fight again" and now he's looking to fight in the summer.

Well that may be, but I'm waiting to see what Cantwell has to say and what his medical issues actually are.

Add one more: Joe Silva(UFC Matchmaker). This event is officially cursed. Instead of UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva, it should be UFC 108: Cursed. ------------------------- How bad is the UFC 108 injury bug?
It's so bad, Joe Silva is on the bench.
At a gathering of reporters following the UFC 108 pre-fight press conference, Dana White said the UFC matchmaker tore his MCL (medial collateral ligament) in the lead-up to the event.
"Even the matchmaker's down," he said with a laugh. "Everybody's getting injured."
White doesn't know how Silva injured himself, but said knee surgery was certain.
"So you'll see his ass hobbling around here in the next couple of days," he said.
Of course, White dismissed internet noise saying the card was cursed and promised fireworks in the main event of Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva.
But it's a fair bet to say he'll be happy to get this card over with.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Sucks he's injured though. That's a BAD injury to get.
Next, Lorenzo or Dana will be getting injured at the weigh-ins.

I'm torn in the Evans v Silva fight since they are tied with being my favorite Light Heavyweights.

Despite this event being cursed, I still think it will be a great card from start to finish. There's no way the main event will go all 3 rounds. Someone is getting dropped in that one for sure. I believe Thiago will KO Rashad sometime in the 2nd round.
Also, I think this is where Junior Dos Santos' train stops. Sure, he's been impressive thus far, but the guys he's beat so far aren't Gilbert Yvel. I haven't seen too much of Gilbert Yvel, but I do know he's a very dirty fighter.
I've seen the clip on Youtube where he KO's a friggin' referee!! Talk about crazy. Plus, he's known for eye-gouging, biting and even low-blows. If he's willing to stoop to that level, I think he's got Junior's number in this one.
Those two fights right there will make the PPV worth ordering because there will be some serious fireworks for sure!!
I am really excited for this event and I can't wait to watch it. Should be great!!
