I'm posting it here because (and this isn't a knock on TNA fans) but TNA fans are more hardcore than WWE fans and more fiercely loyal BUT you have to admit WWE has certainly check mated TNA here with the announcement Bret Hart is returning next week.
Now, this is sort of a nod that WWE is acknowledging TNA and taking them seriously by making it a big show rather then a run of the mill Raw and next Monday is going to be a great night for wrestling. But, what are you going to watch?
If I could watch both (TNA is shown a few days later here) and Bret Hart WASN'T returning, I'd watch TNA, just to see what they can do. But there is now no way I'm missing Bret's return. Sadly, while I want TNA to do well, I think they're going to get crushed next Monday, at least for the 2 hours they clash with Raw.

I'mma Monday Night Wars it, and flip back and forth. I am really excited for iMPACT though...maybe it's just because of the Young Bucks, but RAW has a decent show going too.

man, I'm torn. I'm a bigger TNA fan at the moment, but I'm a huge, colossal Bret Hart fan. This is ing killing me.

WWE on my TV and Impact online. I want to see what TNA will do, but I don't have high hopes. If they prove me wrong, kudos.

I think I'm gonna be flipping back in forth between shows, for me it's gonna be to hard to sit and watch one show without flipping to see what's going on with the other. I love Bret but I'm really interested to see what TNA is gonna do when competing against Raw. January 4th can't come soon enough fellas.

I'll flip. I want to see TNA's new arena, then I'll watch WWE until I see Hart, then I can go back to TNA. I honestly don't give two shits about Hogan, I just want to see how TNA does with a live show.

Luckily I have DVR because Raw looks great. TNA is going to get destroyed unless they announce some more. What's the point of surprises if nobody is watching anyway?

I just don't see why people would not flip.. it's like back in the old days during the war.. I so want this to succeed.. I think a war is what wrestling needs right now.

So, I just caught the tail end of ROH on HDNet and I was blown away. This company, with a budget far smaller than TNA's blows then out of the water in promos, storylines, match quality, and even production. I don't understand how a company like TNA who has the ability and a money to create a fantastic wrestling show can't get the job done and still resort to hand held camera's for promos while this independent company can do everything right. It's mind boggling. What's even more is the casual fans, us being that example, can pick up on all that TNA is doing wrong and yet the company continues to either miss, or neglect the changes they need to make to their product. No wonder they've never made it past a 1.5 in the ratings race, its because they've just put fresh new face (or in this case old face) on their product without actually changing any of its mechanics and hope something will work out.
It's beyond frustrating to watch a product like that. What makes it more frustrating is I think all of us want TNA to succeed, which is why it is so painful when all of us can point out their blatent mistakes and yet the product doesn't change.
Argh!

Shows are on different days in Australia so it doesn't really matter, if I had to choose I'd go with TNA and flick over to WWE during commercials.
