Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Tommy Dreamer is said to be the source of the rumors indicating he's headed to TNA once he's free from World Wrestling Entertainment as those close to him are saying he has been telling them he's Orlando bound. While those within TNA have yet to confirm his claim, it's been made to clear to him that he has a job open for him if he wanted to become an agent.
While specifics of Dreamer's contract are unclear, it's unlikely WWE would release him in order to allow him to join TNA as a wrestler. Even if he was given a full release without a no wrestling in TNA stipulation, he'd likely have a 90-day non-compete.
Meanwhile, it appears Dreamer's farewell show on ECW will be taking place tonight at the Izod Center in New Jersey as he confirmed in a post on WWE's social networking site that he was bringing his gear to work the final ECW show of the decade.

I saw this on another site from a guy working backstage:
Tommy Dreamer is backstage at the Smackdown/ECW tapings at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford ,NJ. Seen him myself walkin he looked upset....as wrestlers looked like they were saying goodbyes and good lucks to him.!
Looks to be true. I like Tommy, and I'm glad he got a good run with the strap.

unless they reestablish raven as a relevant heel and actually give tommy a decent push, i don't see why tna or tommy would even bother.

I don't know why TNA would want him but if that is how they want to spend their money then it is their choice.

Idk if I should look at this as a good thing or a bad thing. I mean I think Dreamer working for a little while would be entertaining, but he could definitely become a agent after a while.

I can't believe TNA has the money to hire anybody else after Hogan.

I can't believe TNA has the money to hire anybody else after Hogan. TNA isn't really paying him, Panda Energy is. Just like how Spike helps pay for Sting.
