has anybody found anything at Walmart in Nova Scotia? Nope, because wal mart sucks now. Anyway, picked up The Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio DVDs from HMV today in the 2 for 20 sale. Sucked that most of the ones on sale are the same dvds i payed 20-30 dollars for in the past year, lol.

Last time I was at Wal-Mart they had no Jakks left, no section on their plan-o-gram for Mattel and just had the Jakks UFC figs. I guess for now only Zellers in my area will carry them.
Anyone check any stores like Sears or Giant Tiger? I know Giant Tiger carried Jakks a few years ago for a really good price.

My local Wal-Mart has WrestleMania Heritage for 12 bucks and the FlexForce guys for 12 and the FlexForce with accessories for 19 I think. I forget if it was 99, I think it was an awkward number though.
They have Basic, Elite (just the two), 2-Packs and WrestleMania at the Toys R Us for the prices already mentioned but since I was the first guy over there they got the prices way off...
Regular price for Randy, 5 bucks for Undertaker and 10 for Legacy.
I guess that's wholesale cost, that's some big markup but makes sense I guess.
I am pretty sure if I make a trip over to Toys Toys Toys I'll find everything that's in the US that's not here. The prices will probably be off the wall though but it might be worth it for certain guys. I have yet to decide which CM Punk I'll get but I'm in no hurry...I figure if I wait he might shave the beard or they might make one with it...or even just make one with Luke Gallows (or is it Lou?).
I'm really bummed about the Elite series though, I am planning on getting the guys that wouldn't be the most popular 2 from future series (like Matt and Miz) and I hate that I might have to skip over them or search the world. Part of collecting I guess...

Last night I bought Wrestlemania Heritage Edge at Walmart for $4 cheaper than Toys R Us. This Walmart didn't look like it had any particular section for WWE figures, I just found a few Mattel figures scattered about in different aisles, must've been some kids picking them up and walking around with them before their parents said no.

How is the Edge? Have you opened it up yet?
I was considering going out and grabbing it today, but the weather is awful and if the figure isn't well liked then I'm not going to go out of my way.

It's a good figure, I bought it because it had completely different tights than my RA-style Jakks Edge that I have in my other collection. Since this figure is based on his WM 21 appearance, it's before his Rated-R Superstar days, so that's cool.
I actually passed on this figure earlier in the evening when I saw it at Toys R Us, while I was considering the Wrestlemania Heritage Undertaker figure as well, but $16.99 for a single basic figure is complete BS. Then I found it at Walmart, luckily, and scooped it up for a more reasonable price.

YEP walmart in Newmarket Ontario also just got Mattel.
Mattel, in my opinion, looks like toys!
Jakks, in my opinion, was for the collector!
2010 = an END of an ERA for me!!!

Aren't they all toys in the end?
Mattel said that they are conscious of the collectors needs, but I think the driving force behind sales is the younger crowd. I'm sure in the future they'll release something for collectors to look forward to, maybe even at the end of this year.
Didn't Mattel say that they were considering a "Classics" type line for Q4 2010?

I don't think they'll need classics with Wrestlemania Heritage.

There's also Entrance Greats. Ringside Collectibles has WrestleMania Heritage listed as Pay-Per-View Series 1. Maybe Mattel is testing waves until they go forward with a confirmed Legends/Classics line.
Anyways, a friend picked up a UFC Series 1 Griffin for me. I also picked up UFC 102 on DVD and a $7 Kimbo Slice TapouT tee for Muay Thai class.

Bought Basic 1 Bourne, Cena and WMH Orton.
For those who haven't seen the Randy Orton figure yet in person, I can't stress enough how accurate his headscan is. The tattoos aren't up to date, but putting that aside this is a must own figure.
