I'll be first to admit when we first saw the Mattel proto’s I wasn't interested at all. However curiosity got the best of me and after seeing some of you post pics I wanted to see them in person. So I've been going all over since last week and had no luck. Today however I found them at two different Targets. I was impressed with what I saw and I will now be collecting Mattel's WWE line. I still need to pick up Basic HHH, Basic Kofi, and Elite Undertaker but I ran out of money. Anyways here are some quick pictures of what I bought. I spent $135.59 in total. Also to note there was none of the Signature series at either Target I went to. Also out of all the fresh cases I saw none of them had any 1/1000's. So they aren't one in every case like people originally thought. I also went to one Walmart and all they had were kid's Rey Mysterio masks.

I actually just finished opening up them all. All I have of a Jakks Austin figure right now is his head. Also here's a fixup with Austin's vest & smoking skull title on the Mattel figure. In my opinion the Mattel one blows Jakks out of the water. It's just an overall better figure and they even included his leg tattoo. Here they are all loose

well thanks anyway hmmm i think the rubber vest will do great, due to that the leather vest is just to big for mattel Austin.

I have never bought a Jakks figure in my life and after seeing the difference in the faces between the Jakks and Mattel figures I can say I am glad I never did. The Mattel figure head looks so much more like Steve Austin than the Jakks figure head does, it's like apples and oranges.... I'm actually quite blown away!

I bought my first Mattel figures today (HBK/Jericho 2-pack and the singles Triple H) and I love em. I got to see alot of the figures up close and I've always been a fan of JAKKS and they have made some great figures, but on a whole these figures are really blowing JAKKS away off the bat. The deco is great, the figures look better shaped and more detailed. I love em'.
