Yeah, but they aren't calling it the "IWGP Championship" so that's how they're getting away with it.

Obviously, there is some kind of agreement the whole deal is under, because I don't think TNA or Angle are foolish enough to have him carry the strap otherwise. I mean, come on. If Kurt's been in negotiations to wrestle in Japan, then you know he's not just totting around a stolen belt. I see it happening this way (kinda like the HBK IC Title situation mentioned earlier) . . . Angle will go around claiming to be IWGP Champ. This will set up a match in Japan with the actual IWGP Champ, leading to Angle losing and their guy being able to claim to be the Undisputed IWGP Champ. Either that, or Angle will win and be able to claim the IWGP Title for real. Either way, it's a storyline deal, a controversy starter . . . . not a legal issue. Mark my words. On a side note, I just bought a sweet Ultra Deluxe World Heavyweight Title Replica Belt off of a friend, so I'm now the Champ. Edge will be facing me at Summerslam to solve the dispute. The "Opportunist" moniker will also be on the line.

NJPW wont let that happen because they don't like what Inoki's doing and I highly doubt they'd work with him.

Wasn't that bad of a Match actually.
Brock Lesnar really needs to make a Return to the WWE right now.

Wasn't Keji Mutoh (the Great Muta) recently in Orlando for some sort of negotiation? Maybe IGF (Inoki's new fed), TNA, and All Japan are working together and they're trying to get some attention by screwing NJPW? Just a thought...

No. This year during January they announced a new working deal. They even did an event with AJPW vs. NJPW matches.
