So after skipping out on the RSC sale, I thought for sure I screwed myself over.
So this morning when I woke up I called one of the TRUs that I usually go to and gave them the UPC# for Mattel figures; and they told me that they didn't have any in. This was just the beginning of my "Mattel Day".
So I just figured I'd order them from RSC or from TRU. But, I really didn't think ToysRUs.com would have anything so when went to the site and saw all the Mattel figures I was in awe. I figured to quickly just order everything I wanted. But, I still wanted to go out and try to find a die cast belt.
Eventually, I left the house and went Figure hunting. After looking at 1 Target, 1 Toys R Us, and 1 Kmart...NONE of them had anything Mattel.
So when I got back home, my aunt offered to take me to a town that's an hour away were all their stores usually always have fresh wrestling figures. They rarely ever have any shelf warmers; so there's always new stuff there. So once we arrived to the town, we hit a Walmart which had the Mattel Tough Talkers, of course I didn't get any because those are meant for little kiddies; but one good thing about running into them was, it a great sign of many things to come.
So next I went to the Toys R Us across the street from the Walmart and hit the mother load! Of course there were no die cast belts. But, I did run into figures that I was debating on getting, and didn't order off of the ToysRUs.com. But, when I saw them in person I knew I just had to get them...
They really didn't have any single basics except for many, many John Cenas, the Purple Attired Jericho, HBK, and Black Attired Batisa. They did have pretty much everything else though, but I had already ordered most of the Mattel figs that I wanted off ToysRUs.com
So after TRU I decided to hit Target because I had heard Target was once again a good place for figures. So there they had all the basics, a few rings, and I think all the two packs too, but yet again no die cast belt. I did manage to pick up an Evan Bourne because I kinda regretted not getting it off of ToysRUs.com
All in all today was truly a "Mattel Day" and I can honestly say that these figures are freakin' awesome! I still wish I would have ran into a die cast belt though.
