They have Mystery with Sting. So did WCW. The depressed and conflicted Sting in the rafters schtick has got to be the oldest unfinished angle in wreslting history. When was it when it started? 1997? Early 1998? That garbage has to end. |

Great show from start to finish. There seemed to be a few new camera angles tonight which was a nice change.

As i said, overall, a much better show. The Tomko segments were unecessary. It woulda been better suited to have a backstage interview with tomko about how he helped AJ, yadda yadda then AJ come and attack him. Those segment coulda been better suited for other things like more wrestling. Which there was more of tonight. The opening match was perhaps the best match I've seen in TNA with Gme and MCMG. The tag situation is still a bit muddled as is the fiest or fired stuff and lashley getting a title shot??? They need to tie up some loose ends. And Sting, as long as he doesnt come down is ok hangin in the rafters i guess for now, but yea, it is still a bit played out. I have more faith in bischoff fixin this mess including the 1/4 debacle then i do with Russo. I will admit, I was interested to watch TNA this week just to see how they righted the ship...a good effort thus far. Really like kong/hamada and the aj/flair thing at the end was very dramatic and made me want to see how this turns out. Now i just pray they dont mind rape me after Genesis.

You know what is great about coming online right now, reading about wrestling?
No one is really complaining and saying their favorite company sucks. I am so used to hearing negative crap more than anything ever positive, so this is a nice chance for a night.

Impact was great this week. But I think TNA blew the Tomko-Styles angle. Did they really let Styles get a clean win over a guy that has been attacking him over the past 6 Impacts? They should have had Angle interfier, make it look as if Angle and Tonko are in it together, than have Tomko beat down Angle, there-fore giving us a 3-way at Genesis. We did see the PPV match already on last weeks Impact.
But, still a great show. Im actually really interested in a Nasty Boys- Dudleys hardcore feud. They made it look really good.

That would be the usual textbook WWE way. I don't know how many times WWE has done this within the past year, and it gets annoying. If TNA would have done this; then Angle fans would've been bitching that they didn't like it. They would bitch that this Angle/AJ match has been hyped for so long, and that TNA ruined,and that TNA is just copying WWE. |

Lol @ Angle's last shot. He get's his rightful rematch, then gets one more, and it's his 'last'. Sting gets about 50 title shots just for showing up... When TNA says it's someones "last" title shot that never happens anway haha (Eg: Beer Money, Sting etc.) Edit: TNA please fire Val Venis already, he got no reaction and he sucks. And Daniels shouldn't be feuding with such a jobber. Great show from start to finish. You're kidding right? |
