Ok, so I went to K-Mart and made 2 purchases of over $35. Long story short, the coupons wouldn't print, so I spoke with the manager. I requested if she could just take $10 off the purchase, since the palet advertises $10 off the Royal Rumble PPV and the coupons were not printing at any of the registers. She said sure, and I got $10 off my purchase, which was very good. So I saved $20, so "Basically" 2 "Basics" for free, haha ;D .
Anyway, afterwards, an employee runs up to customer service, where I was and said that the "buy $35, get $10 off the Royal Rumble" promotion does not start until the 10th. She had to look into the ad for next week. She also told me about the 1/1/10 release, and I told her that I was a collector and was well aware of that date
. So, she said that they were not supposed to construct the Mattel display until the 10th, when the promotion is current. This explains why some of us on here were not given coupons from our purchases. So, if your manager is nice enough to give you $10 off the purchase, then you will be as lucky as I was. Just tell them that the display does not give a promo date.
