Bubba the Love Sponge announced via his twitter that he'll be the "new backstage guy" for TNA Impact, commenting: "watch spiketv(Monday)8pm est 4hulks return 2wrestling I'm the new backstage guy think I'm on a total of 4x Please tell everybody u know." One would assume that means backstage interviewer, a role that's been handled for most of TNA's run by Jeremy Borash. Thanks to Nick Ferro. -------------------  |

Replacing JB with this hack is a disgrace tbh. Yeah, let's take a big crap on JB who's been a great interviewer and is actually clicking with talent during interviews with this... whatever he is..

JB will probably stay backstage. Him and Lauren shared Interviewer duties, so I'm sure Bubba will take over the Interview Set from the departed-Lauren, and JB will run around into Offices and hallways for his Interviews, as he does now.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he's replacing JB, but I would be terribly pissed off if so. It would make sense, given Hogan's new role in the company and the fact that JB is one of "Jarrett's guys.

Yeah, he shares with Christy now just like he did with Lauren, Crystal, Leticia & every other partner he's had. But, they have no ned for 3 interviewers and Bubba even acted as the interviewer at the "Hogan Rally" for TNA TV. |

Notice how every other interviewer has been female for years now? I doubt Christy is the one being replaced and the reason I'm saying JB is because of Bubba acting as JB (doing interviews) for the TNA TV stuff that was filmed at the Hogan Rally aswell as the fact he's one of Jarrett's boys. Edit: Maybe JB will replace Penzer as the permanet ring announcer. It makes sense since he's the one who goes to all the live events. Still, it's not as much about JB getting replaced as it is who he is being replaced by. Was Virgil not accepting bookings? |

I think Bubba meant to say that he was the new backdoor guy for TNA, not back stage.

He'll just replace Christy, no big deal. However, this does show that Hogan does have just about full control over TNA and he's definitely showing it... ugh.
