I dont blame rashad or silva. Well. I do blame silva for not going after him when he rocked him but it seems to me that he gassed. Rashad used a very effective strategy... and it worked...

You're like my brother. He came downstairs after the fight and said "Evans won a wrestling match." If you don't think wrestling has a place in fighting, watch  ing boxing. Evans hung in there on the feet, took Silva down at will, and played that fight perfectly. |

Hahaha, that's hilarious how you say I don't like wrestling. I have been watching MMA for close to 12 years, and I don't like the wrestling aspect? hah
I like wrestling, IF it's used in a better way. Laying and praying does not work and is NOT entertaining. There are plenty of wrestlers who use their wrestling effectively to FINISH fights, which Evans did not.

Evans proved it does...as does Guida...and as does many fighters unfortunately. Evans knew how dangerous Silva was, and he wanted to get the match with Rampage so he took the easy way out. He doesnt care if you or really anyone was "entertained." I dont see how people dont realize this. Evans wanted the "W," by any means necessary. I agree with you completely, that the judging system for MMA in North America is flawed. Evans completely took advantage of the current system and won the fight. There is no point bitching and complaining about this...until the system is changed, you will continue to see fighters taking advantage of this, it sucks but its going to happen. |
