The real problem I am seeing on this board is the fact that most of the fans are split between the newer fans (Who don't know what the legends on TNA tonight are all about) vs the older fans (Who could care less what the younger talent are all about). I am a "tweener" that leans toward being an old school fan. In my opinion, in order to get younger talent over they must face legends who will hand them over the proverbial torch of sorts. Otherwise, TNA has proven they can't do it on their own without the likes of the nWo. Look how the Main Event Mafia vs the Frontline failed. It was a cheap reincarnation of the Billionaires Club vs the New Blood (Which wasn't that good to begin with). At least now they have the originals that can't be watered down by Vince and the WWE.

I'm an old school fan for sure, but there are just wrestlers I draw the line at.

you forgot about S.E.X
and i wouldn't go as far to say that the front line/main event mafia failed because of the reasons you listed.

The problem is the torch has been passed from these guys a long time ago. Who is gonna beat Flair and take the torch from him? He's already lost to Batista, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, MVP, Carlito, Cameraman 1, Divorce Court (3 times)...the list is endless. I feel Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time but he doesnt have that magical feel to him anymore. Neither does Hall, Nash, Hogan or any of the former WWE jobbers they had on tonight. To pass a torch they need to get a guy like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker...a big name nearing the end of their career not their life, to pass off the torch.

The reason they don't have that "magical feel" is because the WWE tried to ruin it for them. The fact of the matter is they will always have a special place in my heart!
