Jeff Hardy Indicted On Drug Charges, Will Stand Trial On Multiple Felony Counts Written by Richard Gray on Jan 5, 2010 - 3:30:00 PM
A grand jury in Jeff Hardy's home state of North Carolina determined yesterday there was enough evidence to indict him on drug charges. The case has been moved to a Superior Court in Moore County.
Hardy was scheduled for a probably cause hearing on January 27th to determine whether or not there was enough evidence for him to stand trial on drug charges. The prosecution has choose to forgo that hearing to move the case to a grand jury.
The charges stem from a September 11, 2009 arrest. Hardy will stand trial on felony possession of cocaine, felony drug trafficking of opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug, maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy debuted with TNA Wrestling on last night's live Impact special and is under a new contract with the company.

I'm sorry, but Jeff Hardy signing with TNA is much bigger than Hogan signing. Jeff Hardy is arguably one of the most OVER stars in wrestling today. When he left the WWE, he was clearly its MOST over star. His merchandise sells like gold for a penny price.

This is why I say TNA will do better with his addition. But I think Spike TV it self will kill TNA.... Kids love Jeff, but would you let your kid watch TNA on Spike? I mean, there was a commercial on what the best way to have sex on a motorcycle? Yea.... Good call Spike!!! Jeff will bring in alot of newer fans, and Hogan / Flair will bring in the older fans.... But I think Spike itself will be the key factor in TNA's future.

You think they would make a bigger deal about than they did, thats why I think he didn't sign a deal and if he did it wont be for very long.

Funny how the moment Hardy re-appears on TV, he now gets indicted. Either a really big coincidence, or something's fishy.

Tna must be happy that they got him to sign. I guess he loves him some drugs and a small paycheck.

I cant help but laugh at the comment TNAs schedule suits his lifestyle. Jeff Hardys lifestyle is a joke in itself. The homicide feud is surely underway after what went on on 4/1.

Man throwing away all that money to sign Jeff Hardy even though he is going to cash his checks from behind bars. TNA really IS emulating WCW throwing away large chunks of money on nothing...

I want to see Hardy/Morre vs. MCMG for the tag titles, Hardy/Moore winning, and once they lose the titles, Hardy can go in the main event scene, I'm not a big fan of his but he can put on a good and fun match. And that would only help TNA, as he is REALLY ING OVER.

DG I am sure his contract, if he really did sign which I still have doubts about, was based on appearances. If he cant make said appearances, he doesnt get paid.
