to me it looks like a leathery material and either diecast or very shiny plastic. does anyone have loose pics of a 1/1000 belt? thanks

The belt is faux leather, and the plates are diecast. supposedly.

They look from the pics to be pretty nice belts, I hope their championship belts are like these, I like the velcro feature, they need to be pumping out those championship belts soon I hope

Well they look quite nice loose. I'm quite suprised because they look pretty terrible MOC imo. What do they look like on an Ra figure?

Give me a little while and I can get some loose pics of my Edge belt.
Overall, I think it is a cool little incentive and not nearly as frustrating as the 1 of 500 Jakks would release... Granted it was an ACTUAL gold belt... Regardless, gimme a few!

I really am hoping we get some prototype pics or some info about their line of championship belts, I thought I read somewhere that they will be metal of some sort and be colored, that would be awesome, I love their use of Velcro too

I am going to assume that Mattel regular belts for the entire line aren't going to be faux leather and die cast. I hope they go the route of the very FIRST Jakks belts from the first BCA belts box set. They were colored, soft plastic and had raised plates.
