Same here. Very few Marvel characters appeal to me. Daredevil...and that is pretty much it. For me it's DareDevil, Captain America & Punisher. And then with DC it's Batman (& all related) GL (Hal & Kyle) and the rest of the Big 7. I am a Batman (and company) fan first and foremost. I still have my first Batman figure (Super Powers) and one of my fondest memories from my childhood is going to see the '89 Batman movie with my Dad. After Bats is Hal Jordan. The most recent GL stuff is already classic in my opinion (Rebirth to present). My introduction to Hal was during the "Death of Superman" storyline, and I was honestly more interested in what was going on with Hal then with Supermans death. Overall, I just have always been more enamored with the DC Universe over the Marvel Universe. What this has to do with Rey Mysterio and Mattel WWE figures is beyond me...haha.

For me it's 1. Batman 2. Nightwing 3. Hal
As far as my favorite characters go. And my first Batman was the Mego removable mask figure. (I still have it and the regular version as well)

I don't know if you have it already, but the Batman Vault book is insane. I-N-S-A-N-E. I got it for Christmas and I haven't put it down.

It started with my question about Mysterio's comic book character outfits and the figures that featured them Come to think of it, since Mattel does the DC figures, we might see a Mattel Rey in his Flash costume or the Joker one from WM25. I am a DC guy myself

I'd rather have an in-scale Mysterio than one that is the same height as Kane with the same size biceps. This is so true. Since I've decided to pass on the Entrance Greats Series 1 Rey for now and I don't want to pay $18 for the Superstars Matchups Series 1 Rey, I'm stuck on whether to wait for the next two Basic Mysterios (Basic Series 2, PPV Series 2) or buy the Elite Series 1 figure. I will probably wait for the Series 2 figures and get the PPV one in white from Survivor Series 2009 (since I was there); unless, of course, Toys R Us releases an exclusive boxed set for all of series 2, then I'll buy that, too. Another reason for me not getting the Superstars Matchups Series 1 Rey is because I own the Jakks RA39 figure in similar attire. That just seems like a waste for me, although it would be cool to compare the two.

I pretty much fall deeper in love with the DC Universe characters once I see line-ups and read up more. I still have to find The Question and I'm really excited to pick up Stewart and find a Kilowog on ebay. Then Jaime Reyes! To address the topic though..I honestly love my elite rey...the scale, the deco, the accessories are all brilliant. I do wish the legs had more forward movement to them, but he still pulls off great moves and to be honest its probably the first time I've ever had a mysterio figure that I liked. Since Mattel has the lisence I'd love to see a WM 25 Mysterio as The Joker.
