I just noticed this today and was wondering if anyone put a R3 Flair head on a Cody Rhodes body for a quick Flair? The skintones match up pretty nicely. It makes me wish I picked up that 2-pack today when I was at Target this morning, but I passed because I didn't remember if the R3 Flair had a ball-jointed neck or the right skin color. (which now that I'm home I can say they do) I'll have to pick another up the next time I'm out to do it. I quickly threw one together. I need to get some platnum paint so I can redo Ric's hair - Ric Flair -Evolution -

do the mattel head pop right off as easy as the jakks figures do? would you swap out heads the same way?

u know how many people on here are smacking their heads for selling off their R3's! now mattel came out, now many are trying to rebuild on certain R3's. make me laugh, i wonder once mattel makes a new line, how many of u will rebuild your RA line! ;D lmfaoz back to topic so far certain heads look good on mattels. Such as CM Show Edge fig, the head makes it look way better and from what u are saying PJ, thats an easy Flair fix-up

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing, but Cody's hand was broken when I took him out of the package, and I have to return it.
I hope that someone does that and posts pictures. I'd love to see how it turns out.

Could use Austin's body too. Besides the tattoo & wrist tape everything else would work real well.

do the mattel head pop right off as easy as the jakks figures do? would you swap out heads the same way? Yes. The only difference is the stems that attch the heads to the bodies. On Jakks there's a ball on each end, but on Mattel's only the top of the stem has a ball. The bottom is an eyehook which is attached to the inside of the torso. So the stem will never come out with the head when you pop it. It'll stay in the torso. I sent my wife a text asking her to stop at TRU on the way home to pick me up another of the Legacy 2-Pack so I can do this.

I just threw it together real quickly. Thanks for putting this together, it is a great little figure. I wonder what this head would look like on the body since the hair color is closer to what Flair is sporting now.

That came out looking pretty "stock"
Great recipe for anybody looking to add a Flair to their display.

Thanks guys. Also for the people who want to change the pads...just heat the top of the boot with a hairdryer for a minute and you can then pop the boots off their stem.

Thanks I wonder if we'll still be getting the Entrance Greats Flair that was on TRU.com to pre-order on the first...because I just read he signed with jakks for the Legends line.
