No defense then? So everyone agrees with Cornette? Good. I have a defense! You see what TNA did was produce a train wreck on purpose, then next week they are gonna do the opposite then get people confused then bring in Ken anderson to be the new GM and...x divsion and stuff...what? Yesterday is the new Pepsi. Yes. that is all! almost! Pwned!

well, one point to be made is that they did attract interest in the general wrestling public, with both the returns of a lotta stars and jeff hardy's return. sure, they didn't do the show perfectly and most of it seemed to planned and didn't flow, but wcw was much like that and it definetly didn't fail...atleast not right away.
don't get me wrong, i love cornette. i basically agree with everything he says.

But WCW did it the right way. They spread out the "surprises" and the surprises didnt come in at the expense of their own roster. The surprises were additions. Tna , like always did it all wrong. If you know you have certain wrestlers..ie Flair, hardy, etc for a set amount of time, why not expand the surprise. Now guess what, since everyone sans Kennedy and RVD have debuted, what else does TNA have? They certainly have none of their own talent because they were either laid out on the floor or hidden behind a red cage all night long. I bet my car i could pick 5 people off this site and do a better job booking a show with them then TNA does this month. I would say Angle Christian, raven were there biggest successes thus far as far as making an impact. Everyone new Hogan was coming and bringing Bschoff, hall, nash, nastys, etc. Hardy will be there until he goes to jail( see Pacman jones reference), Morley and jordan aside from the marks, are uninteresting. So yeah, Im just making a point about TNA not doing it right, not getting on you so sorry if it comes across that way. I'm really fed up with wanting this company to do it the right way, they get umpteen chances, they get good, then they pull the rug out from us. It's pathetic.

^ i get what you're saying, but honestly, wcw was a cluster half the time and i think people very quickly forget this. the promos were if anything worse with hogan, and there was no true direction once the whole old blood/nwo angle had worked itself out. people are attacking tna too quickly. they don't need to suddenly be massive, they just have to work away at their product and perfect it. there is obviously a problem between the writers and the talent...the way that cage match worked out was just ed up and an embarassment. but jeff coming out on top of the cage isn't the worst idea, it just wasn't done very well.
