I bought a Mattel Batista from Roosta through eBay on Nov. 11th and paid immediately with PayPal. After four weeks I contacted Roosta to ask where the figure was. He said it´s normal for a package from Australia to Germany, especially prior Christmas. Nontheless, after beeing ripped off too often on eBay, I opened a PayPal dispute in which he promised to resend the figure via Express so he had a tracking code he could give me to close the PayPal dispute. Today I received the Express mail. It was just a letter, no figure. In this letter he wrote all the stupid things he has written before via PayPal ("You did not pay for tracking blablabla..." [it was not offered, you SOB!]), showing me the middle finger... Now I lost about 46 Australian dollars and he smiles and makes fun about my stupidity.
What really pisses me off is not the fact that the figure did not arrive, but how he screw me providing a tracking code to get the PayPal dispute closed and then sending just a stupid letter...

damn that stinks,well at least you are helping out ppl here making us aware of this moron. hopefully he will lose tons of buisness. i been screwed quite a few times and i know it sucks!

I would take it up with eBay, go directly to customer relations. File a formal claim, not a regular claim, and scan the letter he sent you. That is just plain wrong and a immature way of dealing with things.

I left negative feedback for him now and contacted PayPal again. Will contact eBay as well now. I will try anything to let him pay for this screw...

as soon as I say mattel on ebay I avoided it. And I am glad I did. Everything I was thinking about ordering online hit stores here. Ebay is a rip off.

The envelope with the tracking number. And the letter which should be a Mattel´s Batista... Scanner did not work, so I took photos. cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260504608063&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#shId As you can see in the item description, he mentions different shipping option, but for me (Germany), he only had one option, and that was regular airmail with no insurance.

I never ordered from him before and I don't plan on it now especially seeing how the figs are already out and I only buy from people who live in the same country as me. If I hear anyone planning to order from him I'll warn them

Damn, and the funny thing he used to post here on WFigs as well. Maybe it was reasons like this that he just suddenly disappeared without a trace. He sounds like a f***ing douche from that letter. I would re-open the claim with PayPal and [as you said you did] file a claim with eBay. One way or another, get your figure or your money back from this jerkass.

Sorry you are having problems with him. That's where I got my first 2 HHH's from and he was honest and helpful. The first figure seemed to get lost in the mail for a while as it was 4 weeks without any sign of it. I traded for it in the beginning of Nov and thought for sure I'd have it before Thanksgiving. But Thanksgiving came and went and once December hit without any figure we guessed it was lost in the mail. So we arranged for him to send me another for just the cost of shipping. And no sooner did he mail out the replacement figure the first one arrived the next day.(Mid Dec) Then the second one a week later. So I let him know it arrived and offered to pay for the second one also. And the second turned out to be cheaper so he sent me back the difference. So I don't know why you are having problems, but he was on the up and up with me.

It´s not that I did not wait long enough. I know it was Christmas and shipping from Australia to Germany takes some time. But even the slowest mail ever (New Zealand to Germany - Mattel´s MOTU Classics) arrives here in 4 weeks. It´s almost 8 weeks now since I paid! This is just not right. As a business man, his behaviour is definitely wrong. I just crapon the money I lost because I´m self-employed and laugh about this amount of money, it´s just his behaviour that pisses me off!

Which Batista were you after, and have you since got one? Maybe one of the members here could help you out if you haven't - we don't have them out at my walmart yet, but I'd be more than happy to cover some shipping cost, and help out a fellow WFer. It pisses me off when people get royally ed, you've already lost enough time and money, I'm sure other members would help in making this right.

Thanks for your offer, AdamBomb, but these figures will appear in German stores at the end of January, so I´ll get my Batista one way or another. Just wanted to have one as soon as possible, that´s the only reason why I bought it from Roosta in November last year.
