Since when did plastic toys become that serious?
If anything, Jakks is more like a cult since there is no other explanation for why anyone could still support them after the crapty year that was 2009 for wrestling figure collectors.
Or maybe I should make the comparison to an abusive relationship but, again, that's making way more out of this whole Jakks/Mattel debate than is necessary.

I mean....look at the Elite Rey Mysterio and CM Punk figures. Rey's cross at the end of the necklace tattoo, and CM Punk's "Drug Free" tattoo on his fingers...2 pretty big details that Jakks NEVER did on the MULTIPLE figures of both men, Mattel has included on the VERY FIRST ONES!!!

IM a supporter of all and any wrestling figs..well...except the LJNs,Hasbro wwf,Galoob WCW,pre toybiz WCW,Jakks TTLs...but other than those I love both Jakks and what Mattel have done so far. Jakks had some pretty awesome classics.Im a supporter of the DAs as well..Mattels just starting out,but starting out with a bang. Im just happy ppl are making wrestling figures.lol

But for some reason on the internet, everybody thinks everybody else should be buying the same products at them. Personally, I wish everybody else would STOP buying Mattel's figures...that would mean more for me and I'd be able to find what I want easier, lol  |

I mean, you can be a Jakks fan all you want, just enjoy your old figures because it's not like they are going to get the license back. And as someone who doesn't collect the figures, if I were going to, i would definitely buy Mattel because they make Jakks look like they were carved out of camel crap.

i like them both, both have their flaws but have their purks. certainly wouldn't shoot someone over them so its not half as serious as blood vs crips.

I don't see there even being a problem. Mattel is superior. PS3 is such a vastly superior system. I got rid of my 360 after Microsoft refused to admit their fall of 06 update bricked thousands of systems. I had numerous freeze ups, and then the fall 06 update problems with my 360. I have had my PS3 since Dec. of 06, and never one problem. Oh...how's that HD-DVD add-on for your 360's working for you guys? LOL
