AmDrag is probably the greatest wrestler in North America in the past decade. Not even Jericho is better.

They're going to water his move-set down so bad.....

They're going to water his move-set down so bad..... Of course they are. He's not gonna be wrestling four times a month anymore, he's on a WWE schedule now; wrestling pretty much four/five times a week, is it not? They can't have him throwing ROH-style forearms, elbows, lariats or whatever. Realistically, how long do you think he, and the guys he'd be working with, would hold up working that style with a schedule as hectic as WWE's? Think about it, it's common sense.

AmDrag is probably the greatest wrestler in North America in the past decade. Not even Jericho is better. In terms of pure in-ring ability its hard to disagree. Of course all around Jericho is almost undoubtedly better, but only a few people could also be at the top of the in-ring list with Danielson (HBK, Benoit, Angle could all be viable contenders)

Off topic but I kinda wish they brought Danielson in as Punk's second member of the straight edge society. He's got the hair and can rock the shaved look too. Would've been a great first push.

That was the exact same thing I was thinking while watching that segment, I would love to see him start off as a heel and the straight edge society seems probably like the best way to get him going.

I know I'm a bit late on posting these pictures, but here are some pics of Danielson's WWE Debut He got a surprisingly big pop, that may be simply because he was facing Chavo in the first match of the night. But, there were a few "Dragon" Chants, so who knows.

There's no comparison, Jericho owns Danielson, Jericho is a worldwide wrestling legend, where-as Danielson is a nobody to the casual audience.

There's no comparison, Jericho owns Danielson, Jericho is a worldwide wrestling legend, where-as Danielson is a nobody to the casual audience. the thing is, is that jericho has been around far longer than danielson has. Lets compare what that they had done at the age of 29 (danielsons age). Jericho had been in mexico, japan, and been in ECW (albeit for a short period), and had just finished WCW, where to be honest, he wasnt garnering a lot of attention from the 'casual audience'. Danielson was on of the 'founders' so to speak of ROH, now the third biggest promotion in the US. Hes bee ROH champion, and the GHC junior heavyweight champ. So basically, in 11 years, when danielson is now the age of Jericho, ill see if you can then say Danielson doesnt appeal to the 'casual audience'

He has a fanbase, but it's mostly full of smarks. Until this guy accomplishes something remotely big in the big 2, I cannot and I will not consider him the best wrestler in the world. And people take his "best in the world" thing way too seriously. He may be proclaimed as that, but it doesn't mean it's true. The ammount of time that guy gets in matches is mind blowing, who wouldn't have a good match with 60 minutes on the clock? He can pretty much do anything, but what is he going to do working the WWE "style" in under 10 minutes? He has to hit all of his signature moves, and eventually it will get stale.

I don't see what age has to do with anything. Even at 29, Jericho had still done more and was more popular around the world.

By the time Danielson is Jericho's age he could be just as popular, anything is possible if someone is willing to bust their ass, and Bryan has proven that hard work doesn't scare him away.
I won't say that it will happen, but it could.

Jericho is barely a heavyweight. AmDrag could become as popular. He just has to get up to at least 220. I seriously doubt Punk is 222. So they could easily lie about his weight if it isn't too far off.

We'll see. My prediction is that he'll get released very soon, if he's lucky enough to get called up to TV, that is. Can't wait to see everyone flipping out if he jobs to Vance Archer ;D.
