I saw three Cena 1/1000 tonight and I didn't even think they were worth the 10 dollars to buy one, if that helps. funny, i left 3 at a local TRU this evening. i picked one up, ended up getting the $10 off $40 sale a day late cuz they left the sign up - then ended up getting another $5 off for some promotion that started today. picked up the Cena 1/1000 and 2 Elites (Rey & Edge) all for $27.77 after tax. not a bad deal. prolly just gonna keep it moc as the 1/1000 belt is horrendous.

One other thing to bear in mind - we are going to see lots more 1/1000 of other superstars this year - this is just the 1st wave. Expect some to be more popular than others.. I thought the whole point of the 1/1000s was that they were commemorative of the beginning of the WWE Mattel figures, and only supposed to be in the first series. Or did I miss something?

Please don't listen to the guys on here overshooting to the $35 - $50 range as that is highway robbery.
Unless it is a special number (#0316 for Austin, #0001 for ANYONE, #0619 for Mysterio), you shouldn't pay more than $15 to $20 for a mint* MOC Mattel 1/1000.

I still think $30 average give or take a couple of dollars. I agree completely with the comments regarding the special numbers - the 316 Austin is a definiate keeper! I mentioned earlier regarding the Walmart Exclusives numbered 800-1000 are the ones that have the collectors book in. These figures could end up like the Hasbro Summerslam figures from the 90's and end up being worth more than the standard 1/1000 figures in the long run. As a collector of Hasbro / Galoob / AWA I have taken to collecting the 1/1000 figures Mattel figures as they offer me as a collector to own something in a limited quantity (all be it 1 of 1000). I own (or will own when they all arrive) at least one of each 1/1000 figure that is produced. I am really tempted to collect a Walmart exclusive side set aswell - at the moment they are the same price on ebayas the regular ones but my feeling is they may be the ones that become harder to find over time.

$20-50, some think they we will be worthless in a few months while some believe they will be extremely rare in a few years.
who would have thought back in 1994 WWF Hasbro mailaways would go from $300- 600 dollars on ebay.

I'd love to have a 1000/1000 fig. That'd be highly priced.

i think its a hit or miss thing really, kinda have to wait and see. look at the mailaway hogan from the wm ticket promo, that thing was HOT when it first came out. i had 3 that i sold for a few hundred each! now look you can get it on rsc for what 40 bucks? lol
the 1/500's kinda the same thing,i got lucky enough to get a 1/500 big show when it 1st came out and i wound up selling it for 100 bucks now they go for far less.
