I wouldn't give them credit for that long, though. Last week was a forgettable show outside of Bret's return, and things were very forgettable prior to that. This is the first week I've seen any real effort on WWE's part to really get into "Wrestlemania mode". It's sad, because the Rumble could have this incredibly well-built card. Even the Rumble match could have great build. They had, what, six weeks? Seven weeks? Now we're three weeks away and we still know nothing. I agree, I don't like how they dicked around for the first few weeks when they could have been doing Rumble qualifiers. I much prefer that rather than "all four men in the ring are in the Rumble." But hey, better late than never, right? Well said, I agree. I wish they'd hype the rumble up from December on. We could have had so many matches with SOMETHING on the line. |
