I went figure hunting yesterday in Winston Salem, when I walked into the Wal-Mart by the theater the guy working there didn't see me walk up, he was cleaning the shelves and putting Avatar toys and he kept farting, like 5/6 times and every time he farted he sniffed around as if he was trying to smell it, then he rubbed his armpit and sniffed his hands, then he saw me and said hey, need any help? I said no, but the restroom is that way, he got mad at me and said he was calling security, so I just laughed and left.
They had no new Mattel WWE, just a two pack Burchill/Katie Lee

No offense, but that's Wal Mart for you. As a former worker in the retail marketplace, there are very few of us out there that actually cared about our job enough to help people.

The last time I went to a Walmart, the greeter's BO stunk up the entire front of the store. Combined with the OP's story, this leads me to believe that Walmart employees do no shower regularly.

Is it a prerequesite to be rude to work at Walmart?

A. He wasn't rude, you were. B. Sounds made up. Is it a prerequesite to be rude to work at Walmart? Nope, I work there and I am pretty good with customers have a few regulars who would actually stop shopping there if I left. But Wal*Mart does have a tendency to mistreat their employees, so then they care less and less about the job and end up being rude, also, every human has a right to be rude when some one else is rude to them first.

I used to work at Walmart, and I left because I was sick of working with people exactly like that. If you have a hygiene problem or some sort of crippling social issues, by all means, go to Walmart. They'll hire you on the spot. For instance, the Walmart I worked at had no less than 3 employees who talked to themselves constantly. One of them seemed okay apart from that. The second one smelled like he had never seen a bathtub in his life. The third not only had body odor, he also had a habit of taking a crap in his pants. He would then stuff plastic bags down the bag of his pants, and walk around with it in there all night. Once, I saw him standing at the trashcan at one of the building's entrances. He put a dollar bill down the back of his pants, pulled it out, and set it on top of the trashcan. I am not making this up. This skidmarked dollar bill sat there for days. I, and several other employees, complained to management about this guy, this incident in particular, but all of them refused to do anything about it. So yeah, the OP's story doesn't surprise me the slightest bit. When in Walmart, it's best not to make eye contact with most of the employees, and for God's sake, don't let them touch you!

I worked at a Sam's Club for 3 years (also owned by walmart) and while there was a large number of normal people, there were still weirdos. One in particular got talked to about his stench so bad that they moved him from being a cashier to outside pushing carts so he could air himself out hahahaha

Lol, to be fair, the one I worked at was one of the worst in the area. The one closest to my house is one of the smaller supercenters, and it's not too bad. We've just got a couple that are cesspools.

OK OK,
Now you guys honestly have me feeling horrible
First of all, I was not trying to bash Wal*Mart what so ever, i have no problem with Wal*Mart or their employees at all
I just thought it was weird that he kept pushing out farts and then sniffing them, then the armpit thing took it over the top
But I now feel kind of bad and am a big believer in karma, so I am going tomorrow to see if he is there and if he is I am going to take him a gift card to best buy or something and offer him a peace offering
I spoke before I thought, I am truly sorry if I offended anyone who read the post

If you wanna do that stuff there is a time and a place. Because look what happens, a customer(you) caught him and called him out on it. It's not like you did the guy any harm, he was being an assclown and you called him on it. Big flippin deal, so there are a few sensetive vaginas in here trying to say you were rude, I guess farting infront of customers is a polite thing to do. Seriously who cares about this wal-mart employees feelings, who cares what some strangers on a message board think and who in their right mind would go and buy a gift card for some slimy guy because you "offended" him. I mean really, let's be logical adults here.

Those are my opinions on the way they were acting, what's so contradictive about that? Are you telling me adults dont use "bad" words? I dont know what fantasy world some of you guys live in where everyone is polite and friendly but that's not the world I experience. I'm a nice guy but I'll call it how I see it.
